Nucleotide sequence of the EcoRII restriction endonuclease gene 总被引:3,自引:0,他引:3
The nucleotide sequence of a 1394 basepair (bp) DNA fragment containing the EcoRII restriction endonuclease (R.EcoRII) gene was determined. The endonuclease gene is 1206 bp in length (predicted 402 amino acids (aa) and Mr = 45 178) and is separated by 33 bp from the EcoRII modification methylase (M.EcoRII) gene. The EcoRII restriction-modification system has a tail-to-tail organization of the two genes. 相似文献

Patients suffering from peripheral vascular disease have been "ultima ratio"-treated with PGI2 at a rate of 5 ng/kg/min for 6 hours a day and 5 consecutive days i.v. 20 of them underwent surgery thereafter as therapy was not sufficient. A histological examination and quantification of vascular tissue revealed that the number of activated smooth muscle cells was significantly lower in treated patients vascular segments than in untreated ones in all the different age groups. A comparable suppression was found in the intima and the media as well. It is thus concluded, that PGI2 inhibits smooth muscle cell proliferation most probably by inhibiting PDGF-release from the platelets and stimulation of smooth muscle cell cAMP. To achieve a more beneficial PGI2-effect at the vascular level, a prolonged PGI2-therapy looks rather promising. 相似文献

The nucleotide sequence of the BalI-PstI fragment of T5 DNA, 1347 bp in length, coding for 5'-exonuclease (D15 gene), has been determined. A coding region of the gene contains 873 bp and is preceded by a typical Shine-Dalgarno sequence. The D15 gene belongs to a cluster, consisting of at least 3 genes, in which a termination codon of a preceding gene overlaps an initiation codon of the following one. The sequence contains an open reading frame for 291 amino acid residues. The molecular mass of the 5'-exonuclease calculated from the predicted amino acid sequence is 33 400 Da. 相似文献

The effects of the trichothecene mycotoxins (acetyl T-2 toxin, T-2 toxin, HT-2 toxin, palmityl T-2 toxin, diacetoxyscirpenol (DAS), deoxynivalenol (DON), and T-2 tetraol) on bovine platelet function were examined in homologous plasma stimulated with platelet activating factor (PAF). The mycotoxins inhibited platelet function with the following order of potency: acetyl T-2 toxin > palmityl T-2 toxin = DAS > HT-2 toxin = T-2 toxin. While T-2 tetraol was completely ineffective as an inhibitor, DON exhibited minimal inhibitory activity at concentrations above 10×10?4M. The stability of the platelet aggregates formed was significantly reduced in all mycotoxin treated platelets compared to that of the untreated PAF controls. It is suggested that the increased sensitivity of PAF stimulated bovine platelets to the more lipophilic mycotoxins may be related to their more efficient partitioning into the platelet membrane compared to the more hydrophilic compounds. 相似文献

It is established that the activity of malate dehydrogenase and glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase in rats aged 1,3 and 12 months lowers under fasting and on high-fatty diet and in old animals (24 months) on a high-fatty diet only the glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase activity decreases. When rats after fasting are put on high-carbohydrate diet the activity value of the mentioned enzymes has already returned to the initial level after 12 hours in rats aged 1 and 12 months and in rats aged 3 months it exceeds that activity in intact rats. The rise in the activity of the determined enzymes is completely blocked by the preliminary administration of actinomycin D. The isocitrate dehydrogenase activity remains unchanged under conditions of maintaining animals on different diets. 相似文献

The ethylmorphine demethylase activity of the rat liver microsomes was higher in three-month animals (as compared to one-month), remained at a high level in the 12-month and decreased in old rats. The benzopyrene hydrolase activity increased in three-month animals, decreased in 12-month rats and remained the same with subsequent ageing of the organism. The effect of copper ions and insulin on the rate of DNA, RNA and protein synthesis, and on the growth dynamics of Tetrahymena pyriformis cells, and also joint action of Cu2+ and insulin on these processes has been investigated. The effect of Cu2+ after 6-fold action of heat shock (34 degrees C) on the cell culture has been studied. 目的:探讨280例胃食管反流病(GERD)的分布特点及危险因素。方法:对临床诊断和胃镜确诊的280例GERD患者进行临床和风险因子相关性分析。结果:不论汉族还是维族,男性患者比例均明显高于女性;汉族患者高发年龄段早于维族患者(z=-2.939,P=0.003,);汉族和维族患者占反流性食管炎和Barrett食管比例分别为42.4%、81_3%及56.5%、18.8%,其中汉族患者Barrett食管比例较高(X2=14.358,P=0.000);肥胖、习惯性便秘、重体力活动者、饮食习惯不良在维族患者中的比例较高(P〈0.001)。结论:GERD与性别、年龄密切相关,男性多于女性,汉族患者发病年龄高峰旱于维族患者;汉族患者Barrett食管发生比例高于维族患者;肥胖、习惯性便秘、重体力活动、饮食习惯不良可能是GERD尤其是维族人群GERD的危险因素。 相似文献
