南瓜雌蕊与自花及远缘花粉的相互作用

南瓜柱头表面经去垢剂、蛋白酶及Con A处理后花粉不能萌发或花粉管生长受阻,Con A能专一地与柱头表面结合。柱头块加入培养液可促进花粉萌发。不同的远缘花粉授粉后在雌蕊不同部位受阻。在成熟南瓜雌蕊提取液中检测到血凝活性,凝集素可能参与雌蕊对远缘花粉的抑制。     

Overcoating of Toxoplasma Parasitophorous Vacuoles with Host Cell Vimentin Type Intermediate Filaments

The interaction between the Toxoplasma parasitophorous vacuole and vimentin-type intermediate filaments in Vero cells was investigated via immunofluorescence microscopy. A significant rearrangement of host cell vimentin around the Toxoplasma parasitophorous vacuoles occurs throughout the course of infection. Host cell vimentin associates with the parasitophorous vacuoles within an hour after invasion. This vimentin overcoating of the vacuole is initiated at the host cell nuclear surface. During parasite multiplication, vimentin retains a closely defined association with the cytosolic surface of the parasitophorous vacuole. In addition, the vimentin intermediate filaments originating from the host cell nuclear surface are progressively rearranged around the enlarging parasitophorous compartment. During infections, the order of vimentin cytoskeleton is normal throughout the cell and appears redefined only at the vicinity of the parasitophorous vacuole. Depolymerization of the intermediate filaments was achieved with the phosphatase inhibitors okadaic acid and calyculin A. Disruption of the intermediate filament networks resulted in displacement of the parasitophorous vacuoles from the host cell nuclear surface. The data indicate that host cell vimentin binds to the Toxoplasma parasitophorous vacuoles and that the host intermediate filament network serves to dock the parasite compartment to the host cell nuclear surface.     

Microsporidian Spore Discharge and the Transfer of Polaroplast Organelle Membrane into Plasma Membrane

Electron microscopic examinations of Glugea hertwigi and Spraguea lophii spores indicated the presence of a single plasma membrane; however, this membrane remained in the spore during the discharge of the sporoplasm from the spore. Although discharged spores retained the old plasma membrane, the extruded sporoplasms acquired a new plasma membrane. In order to determine where the new plasma membrane came from, we used two fluorescent probes with membrane affinities. The markers were tested on unfired and discharged spores. The probe, N-phenyl-1-naphthylamine (NPN), labeled the polaroplast membrane in addition to the apolar groups in the posterior vacuoles of unfired spores. After spore discharge, NPN label disappeared from the spore ghosts except for a slight fluorescence on residual plasma membranes. Much of the NPN-labeled membrane reappeared after spore discharge on the outer envelope of discharged sporoplasms. The probe chlorotetracycline (CTC) labeled calcium-associated membranes of spore polaroplasts. During spore discharge, the CTC fluorescence shifted from the polaroplast organelle of unfired spores to the outer envelope of discharged sporoplasms. These results indicate that the polaroplast organelle may provide the new plasma membrane for discharged microsporidian sporoplasms.     

球体蛛在我国首次发现及一新种记述（蜘蛛目：球体蛛科）

球体蛛在我国首次被发现,本文记述了产于我国海南的纳尔蛛属一新种,定名为华纳尔蛛Wendilgarda sinensis sp. nov.,模式标本保存在河北教育学院生物系。     

中国皿蛛科——新纪录属及天山前延首蛛的重描述（蜘蛛目：皿蛛科）

本文记述我国皿蛛科一新纪录属:前延首蛛届Archaraeoncus Tanasevitch 1987,并对天山前延首蛛A.tianshanicus(Hu et Wu,1989)n.comb.重新作了描述,本种的雌蛛系首次发现。本文还对Araeoncus tianschanica Hu et Wu 1989原学名命名的原始拚缀作了改正。文中测量数据均以mm为单位。     

中国皿蛛科蜘蛛一新属和一新种记述(蛛形纲:蜘蛛目)

本文记述采自新疆的皿蛛科蜘蛛一新届——颚齿蛛属Maxillodens gen.nov.及其一新种——鞭状颚齿蛛M.flageuatus sp.nov。     

Post-Pleistocene evolution of Bornean shrews Crocidura foetida (Mammalia, Soricidae)

Fossil mandibles of the Bornean shrew Crocidura foetida recovered from excavations at the west mouth of Niah cave, Sarawak, Malaysia, show that the late Pleistocene population at this lowland location was comparable in size with the large subspecies Crocidura foetida doriae , presently occurring at inland, upland locations. Two Holocene specimens fall in the size range of the smaller lowland subspecies C. f. foetida . Comparable post-Pleistocene size-reduction is known among other mammals of Borneo, but this is the first instance of dated examples. The evolutionary trend conforms with Bergmann's 'rule' but, other than climate change, no selective agent is apparent.  © 2008 The Linnean Society of London, Biological Journal of the Linnean Society , 2008, 94 , 413–419.     

化学结构与生物活性:N-取代氨基甲酸乙酯的合成与驱蚊活性

用氯甲酸乙醇与不同的胺类反应,合成了一系列取代氨基甲酸乙酯类化合物。用埃及伊蚊(`Aedes aegypti`` L.)进行驱避活性测定,所得结果表明,N-一元取代化合物的效果,以K-1023较明显。在N,N-二元取代化合物中,以K-1065的效果最好。一些化合物的分配系数与驱避比值的对数值之间,大致有一条直线关系,分配系数低时,驱避比值大致要高一些。在所测化合物的红外强吸收峰波数与驱避比值,看不出有相关性。
