Guard hair and spine architectonic were studied in 345 mammalian species using scanning electron microscopy. Comparative morphological analysis of the author's and published data was performed to systematize the available information. Original terminology and classification of the main hair and spine cuticle patterns have been proposed. The hair and spine cuticle structure patterns, their adaptability, and value for taxon identification are discussed.  相似文献

The conditions to obtain materials with elastic-viscous properties based on chitosan succinamide have been studied. A decreased polymer content and a transition from visco-elastic liquids to elastic-viscous systems were shown upon the addition of glycerol to an aqueous solution of chitosan succinamide. The systemic response, biological compatibility, and dynamics of bioresorbability of the obtained materials were studied during implantation in laboratory animals.  相似文献

A classification was made of neuronal spike activity in the dorso- and ventromedial hypothalamic nuclei. By multistep selection a set of clones and sublines possessing different levels of resistance to colchicine or adriablastin was obtained from the SV40-transformed Djungarian hamster cell lines, DM-15 and DMcap. Resistance to both colchicine and adriablastin is associated with an alteration of plasma membrane permeability leading to a decreased uptake of various drugs (3H-colchicine, 3H-cytochalasin B, 3H-actinomycin D, 3H-puromycin, 3H-vinblastine, 14C-chloramphenicol). The DNA of cells highly resistant to cholchicine can transmit resistance only to low dosages of the drug. Comparison of DNAs from wild-type and resistant cells digested by restriction endonucleases revealed new classes of repeated DNA sequences in resistant cell lines. The degree of DNA repetition was correlated with the level of drug resistance. The repeated DNA sequences evidently represent parts of the genome that are amplified in resistant cells. The size of the amplified sequences is 200–250 kilobase pairs (kb). Cell lines highly resistant to colchicine contain amplified DNA, which like mitochondrial DNA replicate asynchronously with the main portion of the cellular DNA and related but not identical DNA sequences are amplified in independent cell lines selected for resistance to colchicine, adriablastin, and actinomycin D. These cell lines display similar patterns of alterations of plasma membrane permeability. The amplified DNA sequences may contain a gene or genes the overexpression of which leads to change in plasma membrane permeability and a development of resistance to various drugs.  相似文献

The effect of 5 tetracyclines on the barrier and transport properties of the small intestine epithelium was studied. The barrier properties were estimated by a change in the ionic selectivity and conductivity of the epithelium, as well as by enterocyte linkage. The current of the short circuit served the characteristics of the Na transport system state. Dimethylchlortetracycline, methacycline and oxytetracycline in concentrations of 10(-7) g/ml decreased the epithelium conductivity and increased the cell linkage. Tetracycline and methacycline in concentrations of 10(-9) g/ml had an analogous effect. The effect was observed 10--20 minutes after the start of incubation with the substance. No effect on the current of the short circuit was observed within the concentrations of 10(-4) to 10(-9) g/ml. It is suggested that the decreased conductivity and increased linkage are due to adsorption of the tetracycline molecules in the region of close cell contacts.  相似文献

The effect of neurotensin on submaximally-stimulated hepatobiliary and pancreatic secretion was studied in 6 healthy subjects. An intravenous infusion of neurotensin 1.4 ± 0.3 pmol/kg/min, designed to reproduce plasma neurotensin immunoreactivity levels within the physiological range, produced a significant increase in pancreatic bicarbonate output. Plasma concentrations of pancreatic polypeptide rose by 83 ± 16 pmol/l and were associated with a small reduction in trypsin, but no significant change in bilirubin outputs.  相似文献
