A survey of the freshwater algal flora of the Primorsky Region, Russian Far East, is presented. During more than 70 years
of investigations 1659 species (including varieties and forms 2276 taxa) belonging to 346 genera of different groups of algae
have been recorded from this territory. The Primorsky Region is rich in habitats attractive to algae-rivers, lakes, reservoirs,
and ponds. The details of the distribution of algae in different types of waterbodies have been examined. The algal flora
of the region is comparable to the areas, and its taxonomical structure is typical for Eurasia. From this territory some new
species and varieties have been described — Achnanthes chankensis, Cymbella ventricosa var. hankensis, Surirella alisoviana, and others. The flora includes some rare species — Fragilaria magocsyi, Perone dimorpha, and Heterothrix monochloron, and some endemics of Asia — Navicula scutelloides var. baicalensis, N. globulifera var. nipponica, Gomphonema sphaerophorum, and Surirella tientsinensis. 相似文献

水资源是一切生物赖以生存和不可替代的基本自然资源,生态需水在维持流域生态系统平衡和生态承载力可持续性方面扮演着极其重要的角色,干旱区内陆河流域尤为突出。以疏勒河流域和其所辖县区为不同尺度区域,利用LandsatTM/ETM+/OLI遥感数据(30 m分辨率),解译该流域近20年5期土地利用数据,同时在收集和整理流域多年水文水资源基础数据的基础上,以流域生态需水为研究主线,运用多学科方法和原理,结合遥感技术、GIS技术,通过现场调查和观测,计算了流域及其所辖县区近20年生态承载力和天然植被生态需水量。结果表明:近20年来,伴随流域生态承载力的增加,生态需水量也呈增加趋势,两者呈非常明显的正相关关系,相关系数达0.6076;县域尺度上,生态需水与生态承载力正相关关系也较高,其中林、草地的生态需水与生态承载力拟合优度R~2分别达0.8519、0.7235,说明林、草地生态承载力的变化对生态需水变化的解释能力更强,二者之间的关系更为紧密;基于空间热点分析,该流域生态承载力和生态需水的热点和冷点区域均呈现相似的空间格局,说明二者之间在空间尺度上也呈正相关关系。研究结论可为疏勒河流域生态水资源量的科学配置和调控提供重要的决策依据。 相似文献

Soil erosion affects extensive areas worldwide and must be urgently reduced promoting plant cover and beneficial microorganisms associated with plants, including arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi (AMF). In mountain environments, plant cover is difficult to enhance due to harsh conditions during the dry season and steep slopes. Our objective was to evaluate the percentage of the soil surface covered by plants and the AMF community associated with trees 12.5 years after planting during forest restoration efforts in microsites at different levels of soil degradation. The study was performed in the first montane forest restoration initiative of Central Argentina, where one of the trials consisted of planting Polylepis australis saplings at microsites with different levels of soil degradation: high, intermediate, and low. After 12.5 years, percentage of bare soil cover was significantly reduced by 36 and 37% in the high and intermediate degradation microsites, respectively. Low degradation microsites were initially very low in bare soil and did not significantly change. Mycorrhizal colonization, hyphae, vesicles, arbuscules, AMF diversity, and community structure were similar among microsite types. Percentage of hyphal entry points was higher at microsites with low degradation, number of spores was higher in high and intermediate degradation, and species richness was higher in high degradation. Acaulospora and Glomus were the most abundant genera in all microsites. We conclude that even in the most degraded microsites around 2.8% of the bare soil is covered by vegetation each year and that the arbuscular mycorrhizal community is highly tolerant and adapted to soils with different disturbance types. 相似文献

To preserve biodiversity, identifying at‐risk populations and developing conservation plans to mitigate the effects of human‐induced rapid environmental change (HIREC) are essential. Changes in diet, especially for food‐limited species, can aid in detecting populations being impacted by HIREC, and characterizing the quality, abundance, and temporal and spatial consistency of newly consumed food items may provide insight concerning the likelihood of a species persisting in a changing environment. We used Wood Storks (Mycteria americana) nesting in the Florida Everglades as a model system to study the possible effects of HIREC on a food‐limited population. We compared the diets of Wood Storks in 2013 and 2014 with those reported during the 1970s before major anthropogenic activities affected the Everglades system and prey availability. Wood Storks in our study consumed more large‐bodied sunfish species (Lepomis spp.), fewer native marsh fishes, and more non‐native fish species than during the 1970s. Large sunfish and non‐native fish are relatively rare in the drying pools of Everglades marshes where storks traditionally forage, suggesting that Wood Storks may be using novel foraging habitats such as created wetlands (i.e., canals and stormwater ponds). Although created wetlands have long hydroperiods conducive to maintaining large‐bodied fishes and could provide alternative foraging habitat when prey availability is reduced in natural marshes, additional studies are needed to determine the extent to which these wetlands are used by Wood Storks and, importantly, the quality of prey items potentially available to foraging Wood Storks in created wetlands. 相似文献

We studied vegetation responses to disturbances originated by ants and voles in subalpine grasslands in the Eastern Pyrenees.
We compared the effects of these small-scale disturbances with those of a large-scale disturbance caused by ploughing. We
wanted to know if these soil disturbances promoted species richness through the existence of a specific guild of plants colonizing
these areas, and if this guild was the same for all soil disturbances, independently of their extent. In general, grassland
vegetation seemed to recover relatively quickly from soil-displacement disturbances, and the effects could be scaled up in
time and space in terms of species richness and composition. Vole mound composition was similar to that in the surrounding
grassland, suggesting that mounds were rapidly colonized by the neighbouring vegetation. Vegetation composition differed between
the grassland and the ant mounds. Grasses and erect dicots coped well with repeated disturbance, while rosette-forming species
and sedges were very sensitive to it. Landscape processes could be important to understanding recolonization. Species from
xeric grasslands were found in mesic grasslands when disturbed by ploughing and on the tops of active ant mounds. Furrows
in mesic grasslands recovered well, but decades after disturbance showed long persistence of some xeric species and increased
species richness compared to terraces, while xeric grasslands showed decreased richness. This suggests that, because of those
disturbances, within-habitat diversity was increased, although landscape diversity was not. However, specific disturbances
showed idiosyncratic effects, which could enhance the species richness globally. In ant-affected areas, the grassland itself
showed the highest plant species richness, partially associated to the presence of some species with elaiosomes not, or only
rarely, found in adjacent grasslands without ant mounds. Therefore, soil disturbances occurring at different spatial scales
contributed to complexity in vegetation patterns in addition to abiotic factors and grazing.

近几十年中国地区土地利用/覆盖变化(LUCC)较大,在区域气候模拟中尤其需要使用更加准确的土地利用/覆盖数据。基于模式原有的USGS和新开发的LUC90两种土地利用/覆盖资料,利用区域环境集成模拟系统(RIEMS2.0)分别进行连续10a模拟,分析LUCC对中国不同季节气温的影响。结果表明:1)采用LUC90资料后,中国及东北、华北、华南夏季平均气温增加,但只有东北模拟与观测值的偏差减小,且通过显著性检验(P0.01)。中国及东北、华南冬季平均气温增加,并且模拟与观测值的偏差减少。中国及华北和华南对冬季气温年际变率的模拟改善好于夏季。2)土地利用/覆盖变化通过影响潜热通量的变化和净吸收辐射通量的变化来影响不同季节气温的变化。冬季净辐射通量变化对气温变化的贡献较夏季大,而夏季潜热通量变化对气温变化的贡献较冬季大。雨养农田转变森林、草地、灌溉农田过程造成通量变化,其对气温变化的影响也存在不同分区季节的差异。 相似文献

利用赣江上游流域1990、1995、2000、2005和2010年5期的TM影像以及2010年的SPOT影像资料,通过目视解译方法及GIS软件的空间叠加分析功能,获取了研究区土地利用覆被变化数据。在此基础上,结合1990—2010年赣江上游流域的统计资料利用灰色关联分析和主成分分析法进行分析,找出引起土地利用变化的主导因素。结果表明:研究区20年来林地和建设用地总量增加,耕地、草地、水域和未利用地总量减少。相同时期不同类型的土地利用变化的驱动因子不相同,不同时期同一类型土地利用变化的驱动因子也不相同。再利用GM(1,1)灰色预测模型预测了2015—2030年间研究区驱动因素和土地利用情况,研究表明主导因素对土地利用变化的影响与1990—2010年间变化趋势一致。 相似文献

Ant–hemipteran mutualisms can have positive and negative effects on host plants depending on the level of hemipteran infestation and plant protection conferred by ants against folivory. Differential effects of such mutualisms on plant survival are well documented in undisturbed and ant-invaded systems, but few have explored how anthropogenic disturbance affects interactions between hemipterans and native ant species and what the consequences may be for recovering ecosystems. Within a fragmented landscape in Costa Rica, restored tropical forests harbor a mutualism between the native ant Wasmannia auropunctata and the scale insect Alecanochiton marquesi on the abundant, early-successional tree Conostegia xalapensis. I added A. marquesi scales to C. xalapensis seedlings and either allowed or excluded W. auropunctata to investigate if this mutualism leads to increased scale infestation, decreased scale mortality, and decreased folivory. I also examined whether these effects are mediated by the percentage of remnant forest cover in the landscape. I found that seedlings with ants excluded had fewer scale insects and higher herbivory than plants with ants present. I also found evidence that scale mortality due to fungal attack and parasitism was higher on ant-excluded versus ant-allowed seedlings but only at sites with high surrounding landscape forest cover. Together, these results suggest that mutualisms between scale insects and native ants can promote scale infestation, reduce folivory on native plant species, and potentially disrupt biological control of scale insects in recovering tropical forests. Further, my experiment underscores the importance of remnant tropical forests as sources of biological control in anthropogenically disturbed landscapes.
