The Cell Cycle and Induced Amitosis in Acanthamoeba*

The small soil ameba, Acanthamoeba castellanii strain HR, with a mean generation time of 18 hr in axenic culture, requires 24 min for nuclear mitosis. This is followed immediately by nuclear DNA synthesis that is initiated in late telophase and lasts for 20 min. Evidence is presented that amitosis can be induced in susceptible amebas only during a portion of the cell cycle.     

Description of two new species of the leafhopper subgenus Pediopsoides (Pediopsoides) (Hemiptera,Cicadellidae, Macropsinae) from Guangxi Province,Southern China

Two new species of the Macropsinae leafhopper subgenus Pediopsoides (Pediopsoides) Matsumura, 1912, Pediopsoides (Pediopsoides) damingshanensis Li, Dai & Li, sp. n. and Pediopsoides (Pediopsoides) tishetshkini Li, Dai & Li sp. n., are described and illustrated from Guangxi Province of southern China. A key to males is provided to distinguish the species of the subgenus along with a map showing the distribution of the new species.     

A new species of Hyalella (Crustacea,Amphipoda, Dogielinotidae) from the Atlantic Forest of Misiones,Argentina

The freshwater genus Hyalella Smith, 1874 has a distribution restricted to the Western Hemisphere with most species being found in South America. In this report we describe a new species of Hyalella from the Atlantic Forest of the Misiones province, Argentina.

对采自山东省的14种鹅膏进行了详细的形态学描述,并提供线条图和分种检索表。凭证标本保存于吉林农业大学菌物标本馆（HMJAU）和鲁东大学菌物标本馆（HMLD）。
