本试验用放射性比度为5μCi/ml的~3H-胸腺嘧啶核苷(~3H-TdR)标记经不同照射量辐照的蚕豆根尖细胞,应用显微放射自显影技术,研究微核的DNA合成。试验结果表明,不同照射量的γ射线对细胞及微核合成DNA的影响是明显的。微核细胞及微核的标记率随着照射量的增大而减少,呈线性递减关系。本文还根据微核细胞的标记类型,对微核在细胞遗传工程研究方面的应用价值进行了探讨。  相似文献

Trichinella spiralis: selective intestinal immune deviation in the rat   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1  
In rats, infections with 100-2000 Trichinella spiralis muscle larvae lead to a prompt immunity that is expressed in parasite expulsion within 14 days. Rats infected with more than 2000 larvae display impaired immunity with rejection delayed by 50% (7 days) or more. Suppression is selective for expulsive immunity as the antifecundity response of rats is directly proportional to dose and is expressed sooner in heavily infected subjects. Suppression of intestinal expulsive immunity was suggested by the fact that, with low doses (2000 larvae or less), worm rejection was inhibited by cortisone, whereas cortisone inhibited antifecundity but had no discernable effect on worm rejection in high-dose infections. Evidence for local immune deviation as opposed to systemic immunosuppression was obtained in experiments using parabiotic rats. When one partner was infected with 6000 worms and the other with 200, the rat infected with 200 parasites showed earlier rejection than was seen in single controls infected with 200 worms. The prolonged survival of high-dose adults was not accompanied by a change in the site of worm residence in the gut. Immunological parameters such as serum antibody levels, the number of activated cells or specific anti-T. spiralis lymphocytes in thoracic duct lymph were all increased in a dose-dependent manner. These experiments therefore demonstrate a novel autoprotective mechanism by which adult T. spiralis selectively reduce the expression of expulsive immunity in the gut.  相似文献

Man's influence on the greenhouse effect, the heating of the atmosphere due to increasing concentrations of tropospheric trace gases, is of much international concern. Among the climatic variables, elevated levels of carbon dioxide (CO2), ultraviolet-B (UV-B) radiation and ozone (O3) are known to have a direct effect on vegetation. Our current knowledge of these effects is mainly based on studies involving single stress mode. Thus, the joint effects of CO2, UV-B and O3 on vegetation are poorly understood. Nevertheless, based on the literature analysis of plant response to individual stress factors, it can be concluded that sorghum, pea, bean, potato, oat, lettuce, cucumber, rice and tomato are among the crop species potentially sensitive to the joint effects of the aforementioned three variables. Similar information for tree species is essentially lacking.At least with some climatic variables such as O3, present modeling efforts of cause-effect relationships have proven to be controversial. While at a regional geographic scale ambient CO2 concentrations appear to be relatively homogeneous, ambient concentrations of O3 exhibit significant temporal and spatial variability. Because of the protective action of O3 against UV-B, similar but inverse temporal and spatial variability is expected in the surface levels of UV-B. Thus, future experimental designs should consider these exposure dynamics and modeling cuase-effect relationships should be directed to stochastic processes.  相似文献

PurposeThe influence of basic plan parameters such as slice thickness, grid resolution, algorithm type and field size on calculated small field output factors (OFs) was evaluated in a multicentric study.Methods and materialsThree computational homogeneous water phantoms with slice thicknesses (ST) 1, 2 and 3 mm were shared among twenty-one centers to calculate OFs for 1x1, 2x2 and 3x3 cm2 field sizes (FSs) (normalized to 10x10 cm2 FS), with their own treatment planning system (TPS) and the energy clinically used for stereotactic body radiation therapy delivery. OFs were calculated for each combination of grid resolution (GR) (1, 2 and 3 mm) and ST and finally compared with the OFs measured for the TPS commissioning. A multivariate analysis was performed to test the effect of basic plan parameters on calculated OFs.ResultsA total of 509 data points were collected. Calculated OFs are slightly higher than measured ones. The multivariate analysis showed that Center, GR, algorithm type, and FS are predictive variables of the difference between calculated and measured OFs (p < 0.001). As FS decreases, the spread in the difference between calculated and measured OFs became larger when increasing the GR. Monte Carlo and Analytical Anisotropic Algorithms, presented a dependence on GR (p < 0.01), while Collapsed Cone Convolution and Acuros did not. The effect of the ST was found to be negligible.ConclusionsModern TPSs slightly overestimate the calculated small field OFs compared with measured ones. Grid resolution, algorithm, center number and field size influence the calculation of small field OFs.  相似文献

PurposeThis study aims at investigating the dosimetric characteristics of a Varian aS1000 EPID, focusing on its continuous acquisition mode under the challenging conditions that can be met in stereotactic radiotherapy verification.MethodsAn aS1000 EPID installed on a Varian TrueBeamSTx was irradiated with 6 and 10 MV unflattened and flattened photon beams. In order to avoid detector saturation, the source-to-detector distance (SDD) was set to 150 or 180 cm depending on the dose rate. EPID image sets were acquired in continuous mode (CM) and also in the commonly used integrated mode (IM) for comparison, to evaluate dose linearity (including dose rate dependence), repeatability, reproducibility, stability, ghosting effect and field size dependence.ResultsCM response linearity was found to be within 0.8% of IM and independent of dose rate. Response repeatability was slightly better for IM and FF beams, being in all cases within 0.9%. Reproducibility was within 0.6% for both modes and all beam qualities. Response stability between continuous frames varied within 1% for dynamic and static irradiations and for all the beam qualities, showing its independence from these parameters. Ghosting effect was not significant, being comparable to signal variations between continuous frames (±1%). Field size dependence in both modes agreed within 1%.ConclusionsThe dosimetric response of the aS1000 EPID in CM with FFF beams and high dose rates is comparable to that in IM and for flattened beams provided that the appropriate SDD is used. aS1000 EPID in continuous acquisition mode is therefore suitable for stereotactic applications.  相似文献

目的:探讨不同剂量舒芬太尼对心脏瓣膜置换术患者应激反应、炎性因子及心肌损伤的影响。方法:根据随机数字表法将100例行心脏瓣膜置换术的患者分为低剂量组(n=33,舒芬太尼剂量为1.0μg/kg)、中剂量组(n=33,舒芬太尼剂量为1.5μg/kg)以及高剂量组(n=34,舒芬太尼剂量为2.0μg/kg),比较三组患者应激反应、炎性因子、心肌损伤等指标的变化以及围术期指标情况。结果:中剂量组、高剂量组麻醉诱导后(T1)、插管后1 min(T2)、插管后5 min(T3)、插管后10 min(T4)时间点心率(HR)、平均动脉压(MAP)均低于低剂量组同时间点,且高剂量组低于中剂量组(P<0.05)。与低剂量组比较,中剂量组、高剂量组阻断后30 min(T6)、开主动脉后2h(T7)以及术后1d(T8)时间点白介素-6(IL-6)、肿瘤坏死因子-α(TNF-α)均降低(P<0.05)。与低剂量组比较,中剂量组、高剂量组体外循环停机2h(T9)、体外循环停机8h(T10)、体外循环停机24h(T11)、体外循环停机48h(T12)时间点心肌肌钙蛋白I(cTnI)、肌酸磷酸激酶同工酶(CK-MB)均降低(P<0.05)。低剂量组、中剂量组重症监护室(ICU)滞留时间、拔管时间显著短于高剂量组(P<0.05),而三组心血管不良事件发生率比较差异无统计学意义(P>0.05)。结论:给予1.0μg/kg舒芬太尼麻醉的患者应激反应小,1.5μg/kg、2.0μg/kg舒芬太尼可更好地控制心脏瓣膜置换术患者炎性反应,同时对患者心肌损伤有一定的保护作用,但2.0μg/kg舒芬太尼会延长患者ICU滞留时间、拔管时间。  相似文献

The aim of this study was to evaluate the dosimetric effect of continuous motion monitoring based localization (Calypso, Varian Medical Systems), gating and intrafraction motion correction in prostate SBRT. Delivered doses were modelled by reconstructing motion inclusive dose distributions for different localization strategies. Actually delivered dose (strategy A) utilized initial Calypso localization, CBCT and additional pre-treatment motion correction by kV-imaging and Calypso, and gating during the irradiation. The effect of gating was investigated by simulating non-gated treatments (strategy B). Additionally, non-gated and single image-guided (CBCT) localization was simulated (strategy C). A total of 308 fractions from 22 patients were reconstructed. The dosimetric effect was evaluated by comparing motion inclusive target and risk organ dose-volume parameters to planned values. Motion induced dose deficits were seen mainly in PTV and CTV to PTV margin regions, whereas CTV dose deficits were small in all strategies: mean ± SD difference in CTVD99% was –0.3 ± 0.4%, −0.4 ± 0.6% and –0.7 ± 1.2% in strategies A, B and C, respectively. Largest dose deficits were seen in individual fractions for strategy C (maximum dose reductions were −29.0% and –7.1% for PTVD95% and CTVD99%, respectively). The benefit of gating was minor, if additional motion correction was applied immediately prior to irradiation. Continuous motion monitoring based localization and motion correction ensured the target coverage and minimized the OAR exposure for every fraction and is recommended to use in prostate SBRT. There is growing international interest in better managing soils to increase soil organic carbon (SOC) content to contribute to climate change mitigation, to enhance resilience to climate change and to underpin food security, through initiatives such as international ‘4p1000’ initiative and the FAO's Global assessment of SOC sequestration potential (GSOCseq) programme. Since SOC content of soils cannot be easily measured, a key barrier to implementing programmes to increase SOC at large scale, is the need for credible and reliable measurement/monitoring, reporting and verification (MRV) platforms, both for national reporting and for emissions trading. Without such platforms, investments could be considered risky. In this paper, we review methods and challenges of measuring SOC change directly in soils, before examining some recent novel developments that show promise for quantifying SOC. We describe how repeat soil surveys are used to estimate changes in SOC over time, and how long‐term experiments and space‐for‐time substitution sites can serve as sources of knowledge and can be used to test models, and as potential benchmark sites in global frameworks to estimate SOC change. We briefly consider models that can be used to simulate and project change in SOC and examine the MRV platforms for SOC change already in use in various countries/regions. In the final section, we bring together the various components described in this review, to describe a new vision for a global framework for MRV of SOC change, to support national and international initiatives seeking to effect change in the way we manage our soils.  相似文献

BackgroundThe purpose of this study was to investigate the feasibility of MOSFET dosimeter in measuring eye dose during 2D MV portal imaging for setup verification in radiotherapy.Materials and methodsThe in-vivo dose measurements were performed by placing the dosimeters over the eyes of 30 brain patients during the acquisition of portal images in linear accelerator by delivering 1 MU with the field sizes of 10 × 10 cm2 and 15 × 15 cm2.ResultsThe mean doses received by the left and right eyes of 10 out of 30 patients when both eyes were completely inside the anterior portal field were found to be 2.56 ± 0.2 cGy and 2.75 ± 0.2, respectively. Similarly, for next 10 patients out of the same 30 patients the mean doses to left and right eyes when both eyes were completely out of the anterior portal fields were found to be 0.13 ± 0.02 cGy and 0.17 ± 0.02 cGy, respectively. The mean doses to ipsilateral and contralateral eye for the last 10 patients when one eye was inside the anterior portal field were found to be 3.28 ± 0.2 cGy and 0.36 ± 0.1 cGy, respectively.ConclusionThe promising results obtained during 2D MV portal imaging using MOSFET have shown that this dosimeter is well suitable for assessing low doses during imaging thereby enabling to optimize the imaging procedure using the dosimetric data obtained. In addition, the documentation of the dose received by the patient during imaging procedure is possible with the help of an in-built software in conjunction with the MOSFET reader module.  相似文献
