Substrate specificity of purified preparations of phytase from Asp, terreus was examined. The enzyme showed broad specificity. It was found that Asp, terreus produced only one kind of acid phosphatase and it had phytase activity.

Effective materials for the enzyme formation were examined. The formation of the enzyme occurred only during times that mycelia was in contact with inositol.

By differential centrifugation and electron-microscopic autoradiography, it was determined that inositol was incorporated into the mycelia and that it was located at almost the same point as where the active enzyme was located.  相似文献

Colurella dicentra clones isolated from bay water in the Mississippi Gulf Coast were cultured with artificial seawater. Experiments were conducted to determine the effects of six algae species (Nannochloropsis oculata, Tetraselmis chuii, Chaetoceros gracilis, Rhodomonas salina, Isochrysis galbana, and Prorocentrum micans), six C. gracilis densities, and six N. oculata densities (25,000, 50,000, 100,000, 250,000, 500,000, and 1,000,000 cells ml− 1) on C. dicentra population growth. Algae type influenced rotifer production (p < 0.0001). C. gracilis treatment (9120 ± 3351SD) produced the highest number of rotifers followed by N. oculata (5760 ±2232SD). P. micans had the lowest number of rotifers, although not significantly different from numbers in T. chuii, R. salina, and I. galbana treatments (p > 0.05).The population growth rate (r) varied with algae species treatment. The highest values were recorded for C. gracilis treatment (0.22 to 0.26 d− 1), followed by N. oculata (0.21 to 0.24 d− 1), and the lowest for P. micans (− 0.19 to 0.14 d− 1). C. gracilis and N. oculata densities had significant effects (p < 0.0001) on C. dicentra population growth. The highest rotifer production was recorded at a C. gracilis density of 100,000 cells ml− 1, followed by 250,000 cells ml− 1 and 50,000 cells ml− 1. Algae densities of 500,000 cells ml− 1 and above produced the lowest rotifer numbers. Population growth rate (r) varied with C. gracilis densities. The highest values were observed for C. gracilis concentrations of 100,000 cells ml− 1 (0.17 to 0.19 d− 1), and the lowest for concentrations of 500,000 cells ml− 1 and above (− 0.19 to 0.09 d− 1). The 100,000 cells ml− 1N. oculata density gave the highest rotifer production followed by 50,000, 250,000, 25,000, and 500,000 cells ml− 1. Algae densities of 1,000,000 cells ml− 1 produced the lowest rotifer numbers. Population growth rate (r) varied with N. oculata densities, with the highest values obtained for algae densities of 100,000 cells ml− 1 (0.35 to 0.40 d− 1), and the lowest for concentrations of 1,000,000 cells ml− 1 (0.05 to 0.012 d− 1). This is the first report of C. dicentra in Mississippi Coastal waters, and perhaps the smallest marine rotifer species (93 by 49 μm) ever cultured successfully.  相似文献

白洋淀轮虫多样性及群落结构的初步研究   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1  
于2006年12月、2007年3~5月调查了白洋淀9个采样点的轮虫种类组成、数量及优势种,并对轮虫群落的多样性指数和群落相似性系数进行了测算,综合评价了白洋淀水质及富营养化状况.本次共发现轮虫41种,平均丰度为607~5024 ind./L,优势种为蒲达臂尾轮虫Brachionus budapesllensis、长肢多肢轮虫Polyarthra doli-choptera、角突臂尾轮虫B.angularis、矩形龟甲轮虫Keratella quadrata等,均为耐污性种类,各样点轮虫群落具较高相似性.从轮虫群落Margalef多样性指数看,白洋淀水质属中度污染和严重污染状况.  相似文献

褶皱臂尾轮虫包含复杂的同胞物种,对其分类研究经过了一个长期发展的过程。综述了轮虫分类手段的发展进程,介绍和分析了轮虫特别是褶皱臂尾轮虫同胞物种复合类群分类的研究进展。褶皱臂尾轮虫的L-型和S-型属于B.plicatilis和B.rotundiformis两个物种。这个复合类群中还包括更多的种类,如B.plicatilis sensu stricto、B.ibericus和B.rotundiformis,其中B.plicatilis sensu stricto属于L型,B.ibericus属于SM-型,B.rotundiformis属于SS-型。此类研究丰富了轮虫系统分类学,提高了水域生态调查的准确性。  相似文献

长江口径流在南北支分布不均导致北支盐度高于南支,因此南北支之间生物群落存在一定差异。2010年在长江口分支前的江段和南北支设置5个断面,开展轮虫生态研究。分支前的太海汽渡断面处共采集到轮虫9种,隶属6科8属,其中优势种为没尾无柄轮虫、暗小异尾轮虫、萼花臂尾轮虫等;长江口南支2个断面共采集轮虫20种,隶属于6科12属,南支优势种为暗小异尾轮虫、盘状鞍甲轮虫和蹄形腔轮虫;长江口北支2个断面共采集轮虫11种,隶属于7科10属,北支优势种为舞跃无柄轮虫、没尾无柄轮虫和盘状鞍甲轮虫。南支轮虫种类、密度、多样性都高于北支,南北支的轮虫群落相似度较低。轮虫与水域环境因子相关性分析显示,盐度的差别影响了轮虫种类组成、密度和空间分布。  相似文献

Inconsistent results have been obtained on the population growth of Brachionus rotundiformis and Tigriopus japonicus, when results from single-species and two-species mixed cultures are compared. Bacteria growth was not regulated in these experiments, which could be the cause for this. In order to test this possibility, we conducted similar experiments under axenic and synxenic (with presence of one species of bacteria) conditions. The population growth of B. rotundiformis was suppressed by the presence of T. japonicus in axenic cultures. T. japonicus could not persist in axenic cultures, but its population increased when grown in synxenic cultures. T. japonicus used RT bacteria strain as a food source, while these bacteria were toxic to B. rotundiformis. These results suggest that bacteria can modify the interspecific relationship between B. rotundiformis and T. japonicus.  相似文献

Asplanchna sylvestrii does not discriminate between groups of Brachionus calyciflorus fed either the cyanobacterium Anabaena flos-aquae or a control diet of Euglena gracilis. We based our analysis on the observed probabilities of attack, capture and ingestion during encounters between predator and prey. While A. sylvestrii was very sensitive to brachionid size, we found no significant affects of prey diet on predatory behavior. Thus, cyanobacterial diet did not influence the short-term predation risk of B. calyciflorus exposed to an effective predator. On the other hand, matched cohorts of A. sylvestrii fed B. calyciflorus cultured on the cyanobacterium reproduced more slowly than those fed the same prey cultured on the control food. With prolonged sympatry, therefore, the long-term risk of Asplanchna predation may be reduced for Brachionus by the latter's consumption of cyanobacteria.  相似文献

A simple and efficient method has been developed for isolating genomic DNA from single specimens of extremely small metazoan animals, e.g. rotifers (Rotifera: Monogononta). The amount and quality of the extracted DNA allows the Random Amplified Polymorphic DNA Polymerase Chain Reaction (RAPD-PCR) to be employed with up to three random primers per specimen. Reproducibility of RAPD-fingerprints has been checked and verified. Exemplarily, RAPD patterns of three Brachionus species (B. angularis, B. calyciflorus, B. urceolaris) amplified with the primer OPA 07 are demonstrated.  相似文献

Stomach cells of female Asplanchna sieboldi are specialized for absorption and intracellular digestion of nutrients. Evidence is presented to show that electron-opaque colloidal substances, present in the medium and within digestive vacuoles of the prey (Paramecium), are taken up by the stomach cells at the apical cell membrane and sequestered within food vacuoles which contain hydrolases working in both the acid and alkaline pH range. The stomach cells are also implicated in the absorption of molecules below the resolving power of the electron microscope. In rotifers possessing a complete digestive tract, this task is presumed to be handled by the intestine.  相似文献
