In many sports, athletes perform motor tasks that simultaneously require both speed and accuracy for success, such as kicking a ball. Because of the biomechanical trade-off between speed and accuracy, athletes must balance these competing demands. Modelling the optimal compromise between speed and accuracy requires one to quantify how task speed affects the dispersion around a target, a level of experimental detail not previously addressed. Using soccer penalties as a system, we measured two-dimensional kicking error over a range of speeds, target heights, and kicking techniques. Twenty experienced soccer players executed a total of 8466 kicks at two targets (high and low). Players kicked with the side of their foot or the instep at ball speeds ranging from 40% to 100% of their maximum. The inaccuracy of kicks was measured in horizontal and vertical dimensions. For both horizontal and vertical inaccuracy, variance increased as a power function of speed, whose parameter values depended on the combination of kicking technique and target height. Kicking precision was greater when aiming at a low target compared to a high target. Side-foot kicks were more accurate than instep kicks. The centre of the dispersion of shots shifted as a function of speed. An analysis of the covariance between horizontal and vertical error revealed right-footed kickers tended to miss below and to the left of the target or above and to the right, while left-footed kickers tended along the reflected axis. Our analysis provides relationships needed to model the optimal strategy for penalty kickers.  相似文献

目的探讨血清铜蓝蛋白(CP)联合透明质酸(HA)检测在肝纤维化患者诊断中的应用前景。方法选取2015年1月至2018年12月本院收治的疑似肝纤维化患者226例为研究对象,对患者的CP、HA水平进行联合检测,根据各项指标检测水平对患者做出诊断,并与金标准诊断方法肝穿刺活检结果进行对比。对CP、HA单独检测和联合检测的诊断结果进行统计对比,并对各组检查方法的灵敏度、特异度、假阳性率、假阴性率、准确度等进行统计对比,比较不同检查方法在不同肝纤维化分级患者中的诊断正确率。结果 226例患者中金标准诊断201例(88.94%)为肝纤维化,CP单独检测检出154例(68.14%),HA单独检测检出143例(63.27%),CP+HA联合检测检出195例(86.28%)。经Kappa一致性检验分析CP+HA联合检测与金标准结果有高度一致性,CP、HA单独检测与金标准结果为中等一致性。CP+HA联合检测的灵敏度、特异度、准确度均高于CP、HA单独检测,方法间比较差异有统计学意义(χ~2=11.602、55.959、78.047,P=0.003、0.039、0.002)。在不同分级肝纤维化患者中,CP+HA联合检测在Ⅰ级、Ⅱ级纤维化检出率高于CP、HA单独检测,方法间比较差异有统计学意义(χ~2=9.432、8.324,P=0.007、0.010)。结论 CP联合HA检测在肝纤维化患者诊断中应用情况良好,有较高的诊断正确率,且对症状程度较轻的肝纤维化患者有较高的检出率,可作为肝纤维化诊断检查的主要手段加以推广应用。  相似文献

Optical motion capture is commonly used in biomechanics to measure human kinematics. However, no studies have yet examined the accuracy of optical motion capture in a large capture volume (>100 m3), or how accuracy varies from the center to the extreme edges of the capture volume. This study measured the dynamic 3D errors of an optical motion capture system composed of 42 OptiTrack Prime 41 cameras (capture volume of 135 m3) by comparing the motion of a single marker to the motion reported by a ThorLabs linear motion stage. After spline interpolating the data, it was found that 97% of the capture area had error below 200 μm. When the same analysis was performed using only half (21) of the cameras, 91% of the capture area was below 200 μm of error. The only locations that exceeded this threshold were at the extreme edges of the capture area, and no location had a mean error exceeding 1 mm. When measuring human kinematics with skin-mounted markers, uncertainty of marker placement relative to underlying skeletal features and soft tissue artifact produce errors that are orders of magnitude larger than the errors attributed to the camera system itself. Therefore, the accuracy of this OptiTrack optical motion capture system was found to be more than sufficient for measuring full-body human kinematics with skin-mounted markers in a large capture volume (>100 m3).  相似文献

Inter-individual variation in phase-of-entrainment (chronotype) is widely observed in many species, but the underlying mechanisms and its consequences remain largely unexplored. In light of considerable limitations of previous studies proposing that the late chronotypes exhibit weakly stable rhythms, we employed outbred Drosophila populations exhibiting early and late emergence chronotypes to re-visit such associations. Contrary to previous reports, we observed that the late chronotypes consistently exhibit higher stability in emergence and activity–rest rhythms as compared to the early chronotypes, both under laboratory and semi-natural conditions, which is not associated with higher precision of circadian clocks, thus demonstrating the existence of genetic correlations between accuracy of entrainment and chronotype. Our results, along with the previously reported clock property differences between the early and the late emergence chronotypes highlights a possible complex interplay of clock period, phase response curve and accuracy in determining phase-of-entrainment.  相似文献

蛋白质二级结构的预测,对于研究蛋白质的功能和人类生命科学意义非凡。1951年开始提出预测蛋白质二级结构,1983年对于二级结构的预测只有50%的准确率。经过多年的发展,预测方式不断的改进和完善,到如今准确率已经超过80%。但目前预测在线服务器繁多,连续自动模型评估(CAMEO)也只给出服务器三级结构的预测评估,二级结构评估还未实现。针对上述问题,选取了以下6个服务器:PSRSM、MUFOLD、SPIDER、RAPTORX、JPRED和PSIPRED,对其预测的二级结构进行评估。并且为保证测试集不在训练集内,实验数据选取蛋白质结构数据库(Protein Data Bank,PDB)最新发布的蛋白质。在基于蛋白质同源性30%、50%和70%的实验中,PSRSM取得Q3的准确率分别为91.44%、88.12%和90.17%,比其他预测服务器中最高的MUFOLD分别高出3.19%、1.33%和2.19%,证明在同一类同源性数据中PSRSM比其他服务器有更好的预测效果。除此之外实验也得到其预测的Sov准确度也比其他服务器要高。比较各类服务器的方法与结果,得出今后蛋白质二级结构预测应当重点从大数据、模板和深度学习的角度进行研究。  相似文献

随着21世纪分子生物学研究的蓬勃发展,RNA二级结构预测成为其中一项重要内容。由于RNA二级结构预测的准确性最为关键,因此寻找高精度且易操作的二级结构预测工具显得非常重要。本文选取三种简单且易操作的二级结构预测软件,先基于PDB数据库收录的318个RNA发夹序列进行二级结构预测,进而通过比较预测结果与实验测定结果进行软件预测性能评估。比较结果显示,RNAstructure为三个软件中性能最优的RNA二级结构预测软件。  相似文献

We apply a method to evaluate the strength of the evidence for deviations from uniform land change in a coastal area, in the context of Intensity Analysis. The errors in the CORINE maps at 1990 and 2006 can influence the apparent change, but the errors are unknown because error assessment of the 1990 map has never been released, while the error of the 2006 map has been checked for only some countries. The 1990 and the 2006 maps of a coastal watershed in Portugal served as the data to compute the intensities of changes among eight categories. We evaluate the sizes and types of errors that could explain deviations from uniform intensities. Errors in 2.0% of the 2006 map can explain all apparent deviations from uniform gains. Errors in 1.5% of the 1990 map can explain all apparent deviations from uniform losses. Errors in less than 0.7% of the 1990 map can explain all apparent deviations from uniform transitions to each gaining category. We analyse the strength of the evidence for deviations from uniform intensities in light of historical processes of change. Historical processes can explain some transitions that the data show, while the hypothesised errors in the data are the explanation for other transitions that are not consistent with known processes. Inconsistent transitions are an indication of the misclassification errors that could propagate to other land cover change applications, as in the assessment of hydrological processes.  相似文献

PurposeTo perform a detailed evaluation of dose calculation accuracy and clinical feasibility of Mobius3D. Of particular importance, multileaf collimator (MLC) modeling accuracy in the Mobius3D dose calculation algorithm was investigated.MethodsMobius3D was fully commissioned by following the vendor-suggested procedures, including dosimetric leaf gap (DLG) optimization. The DLG optimization determined an optimal DLG correction factor which minimized the average difference between calculated and measured doses for 13 patient volumetric-modulated arc therapy (VMAT) plans. Two sets of step-and-shoot plans were created to examine MLC and off-axis open fields modeling accuracy of the Mobius3D dose calculation algorithm: MLC test set and off-axis open field test set. The test plans were delivered to MapCHECK for the MLC tests and an ionization chamber for the off-axis open field test, and these measured doses were compared to Mobius3D-calculated doses.ResultsThe mean difference between the calculated and measured doses across the 13 VMAT plans was 0.6% with an optimal DLG correction factor of 1.0. The mean percentage of pixels passing gamma from a 3%/1 mm gamma analysis for the MLC test set was 43.5% across the MLC tests. For the off-axis open field tests, the Mobius3D-calculated dose for 1.5 cm square field was −4.6% lower than the chamber-measured dose.ConclusionsIt was demonstrated that Mobius3D has dose calculation uncertainties for small fields and MLC tongue-and-groove design is not adequately taken into consideration in Mobius3D. Careful consideration of DLG correction factor, which affects the resulting dose distributions, is required when commissioning Mobius3D for patient-specific QA.  相似文献

Question: How can the U.S. National Vegetation Classification (USNVC) serve as an effective tool for classifying and mapping vegetation, and inform assessments and monitoring? Location: Voyageurs National Park, northern Minnesota, U.S.A and environs. The park contains 54 243 ha of terrestrial habitat in the sub-boreal region of North America. Methods: We classified and mapped the natural vegetation using the USNVC, with ‘alliance’and ‘association’as base units. We compiled 259 classification plots and 1251 accuracy assessment test plots. Both plot and type ordinations were used to analyse vegetation and environmental patterns. Color infrared aerial photography (1:15840 scale) was used for mapping. Polygons were manually drawn, then transferred into digital form. Classification and mapping products are stored in publicly available databases. Past fire and logging events were used to assess distribution of forest types. Results and Discussion: Ordination and cluster analyses confirmed 49 associations and 42 alliances, with three associations ranked as globally vulnerable to extirpation. Ordination provided a useful summary of vegetation and ecological gradients. Overall map accuracy was 82.4%. Pinus banksiana - Picea mariana forests were less frequent in areas unburned since the 1930s. Conclusion: The USNVC provides a consistent ecological tool for summarizing and mapping vegetation. The products provide a baseline for assessing forests and wetlands, including fire management. The standardized classification and map units provide local to continental perspectives on park resources through linkages to state, provincial, and national classifications in the U.S. and Canada, and to NatureServe's Ecological Systems classification.  相似文献
