A new tortoise beetle species, Cyrtonota
abrili, is described from the Antioquia and Caldas departments in Colombia. New faunistic data are provided for 87 species, including 16 new additions to the country’s fauna. A checklist of the known 238 species of tortoise beetles recorded from Colombia is given. 相似文献

The Thereus
oppia species group includes species with and without a scent pad, which is a histologically and morphologically characterized male secondary sexual structure on the dorsal surface of the forewing. To assess the hypothesis that these structures are lost evolutionarily, but not regained (Dollo’s Law), the taxonomy of this species group is revised. Thereus
lomalarga
sp. n., and Thereus
brocki
sp. n., are described. Diagnostic traits, especially male secondary structures, within the Thereus
oppia species group are illustrated. Distributional and biological information is summarized for each species. Three species have been reared, and the caterpillars eat Loranthaceae. An inferred phylogeny is consistent with the hypothesis that scent pads in the Thereus
oppia species group have been lost evolutionarily twice (in allopatry), and not re-gained. 相似文献

Two species of corophiine amphipods from Songkhla Lake, in the lower Gulf of Thailand, are described and illustrated. Chelicorophium
madrasensis (Nayar, 1950), found in the mangrove forest, has not previously been observed in Thai waters. Paracorophium
angsupanichae
sp. n. is characterized by its chelate male gnathopod 2, obtuse palm with subrectangular distomedial elevation, and urosomites 1-3 free. This is the first record of the genus Chelicorophium and Paracorophium in Thai waters. All specimens are deposited in the Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn Natural History Museum, Prince of Songkla University, Thailand and the Museum für Naturkunde, Berlin. 相似文献

The genus Liancalus Loew is revised for the Nearctic Region. Seven species are documented from this region including two new species: Liancalus
genualis Loew, Liancalus
hydrophilus Aldrich, Liancalus
limbatus Van Duzee, Liancalus
pterodactyl
sp. n., Liancalus
querulus Osten Sacken, Liancalus
similis Aldrich, and Liancalus
sonorus
sp. n. Lectotypes are designated for the following species: Liancalus
genualis, Liancalus
hydrophilus, Liancalus
querulus, and Liancalus
similis. The species are illustrated, a key to males and females is provided, and their distributions mapped. Adults of Liancalus are some of the largest species of Dolichopodidae and commonly occur on waterfalls and vertical seeps. 相似文献

A new species of Cumacea belonging to the genus Lamprops Sars was collected from the East Sea of Korea. This new species resembles Lamprops
comatus Zimmer, Lamprops
carinatus Hart, Lamprops
flavus Harada, Lamprops
pumilio Zimmer, Lamprops
tomalesi Gladfelter, and Lamprops
obfuscatus (Gladfelter) in lacking lateral oblique ridges on the carapace and lateral setae on the telson. The new species, however, is distinguished from its congeners by having a dorsal concave groove and a lateral rounded depressed area on pereonite 2. The new species is fully illustrated and compared with related species. A key to the world Lamprops species lacking lateral ridges on the carapace is also provided. 相似文献

Seven new species of oribatid mites of the genus Galumna are described from litter and soil materials of Sumatra, Indonesia. A new subgenus, Galumna (Atypicogalumna)
subgen. n., is proposed; it differs from all galumnid genera and subgenera by the simultaneous presence of porose areas and sacculi on the notogaster (vs. either porose areas or sacculi present). Galumna (Galumna) calva Starý, 1997 is recorded for the first time in the Oriental region, and Galumna (Galumna) sabahna Mahunka, 1995 is recorded for the first time in the Indonesian fauna. 相似文献

The formely monotypic Neotropical genus Megalocraerus Lewis is revised to include five species, known from southeastern Brazil to Costa Rica: Megalocraerus
rubricatus Lewis, Megalocraerus
mandibularis
sp. n., Megalocraerus
chico
sp. n., Megalocraerus
madrededios
sp. n., and Megalocraerus
tiputini
sp. n. We describe the species, map their distributions, and provide a key for their identification. Their subcylindrical body form and emarginate mesosternum have previously hindered placement to tribe, although their curent assignment to Exosternini now appears well supported by morphological evidence. Nothing is known of the natural history of the species. 相似文献

The type status is described for 65 taxa of the Orthalicoidea, classified within the families Megaspiridae (14), Orthalicidae (30), and Simpulopsidae (20); one taxon is considered a nomen inquirendum. Lectotypes are designated for the following taxa: Helix
brephoides d’Orbigny, 1835; Simpulopsis
cumingi Pfeiffer, 1861; Bulimulus (Protoglyptus) dejectus Fulton, 1907; Bulimus

marmatensis Pfeiffer, 1855, Bulimus
meobambensis Pfeiffer, 1855, and Orthalicus
powissianus
var.

A new species of the genus Nihonotrypaea Manning & Tamaki, 1998, Nihonotrypaea
hainanensis
sp. n., collected from the South China Sea, is described and illustrated. It is distinguishable from Nihonotrypaea
harmandi (Bouvier, 1901), Nihonotrypaea
japonica (Ortmann, 1891), Nihonotrypaea
thermophila Lin, Komai & Chan, 2007 and Nihonotrypaea
