Based on the material collected by the authors in Central and West Georgia, the Caucasus, in 2014–2017, Carabus (Archiplectes) zubovisp. n. from Kvemo Svaneti, belonging to the komarowi species-group, and Carabus (Tribax) shtavlerensissp. n. from Zemo Svaneti, belonging to the agnathus species-group, are described. The distribution of the new species is mapped.  相似文献

The article provides information about the genus Zaplatycerus Timberlake, 1925, a key to the females of its 16 species of the world fauna, and their synopsis with data on the distribution and hosts. Neoplatycerus tshernyshevi Trjapitzin, 2011 from Australia is transferred to Zaplatycerus as Z. tshernyshevi (Trjapitzin, 2011), comb. n.Neoplatycerus tshernyshevi Trjapitzin, 2013 is synonymized under Z. tshernyshevi (Trjapitzin, 2011), syn. n.  相似文献

The distribution of 28 species of longicorn beetles in the Caucasus and neighboring territories is discussed with new distributional data reported for some species. The records of Rhagium fasciculatum, Paraclytus sexguttatus, and Anaglyptus arabicus from northern Iran (Elburz Mts.) are considered erroneous. Photographs of old specimens of Phytoecia pontica (a male labeled “Caucasus Leder”) and Ph. wachanrui (a male labeled “Daghestan”) are given; the occurrence of these species in the Caucasus is considered probable. The records of Cortodera flavimana, Pedostrangalia verticenigra and Chlorophorus hircanus from northeastern Azerbaijan are considered erroneous; these species are not known from the Caucasus. The distribution of Brachypteroma ottomanum, Leioderes kollari, Phymatodes glabratus, and Dorcadion equestre still remains to be proved; the known records of B. ottomanum supposedly refer to B. holtzi, and those of L. kollari, to L. tuerki. It is also speculated that the records of Pedostrangalia revestita from Borjomi refer to the closely related P. tokatensis, and the records of Pedostrangalia emmipoda from Sevan and Batumi, to P. kurda.  相似文献

The review contains an annotated list of 62 species of Encyrtidae from Macaronesia with data on their distribution, hosts, and use in biological control of agricultural insect pests. An attempt is undertaken to classify most of them according to nine types of ranges and to separate species which were introduced to Macaronesia by the ecesis, i.e., accidentally with their hosts. Three genera are synonymized: Acerophagus E.A. Smith, 1880 (= Pseudaphycus Timberlake, 1916, syn. n.); Isodromus Howard, 1887 (= Eupoecilopoda Erdös et S. Novicky, 1955, syn. n.); Syrphophagus Ashmead, 1900 (= Tassonia Girault, 1921, syn. n.). Cerchysiella togashii Tachikawa, 1988 is placed in the genus Zaommoencyrtus Girault, 1916. Cerchysiella koenigsmanni (Trjapitzin, 1985) is considered a subjective synonym of C. latiscapus (Shafee et Fatma, 1984). The following replacement names are given: Acerophagus xuzhihongi Trjapitzin, nom. n. for A. clavatus Xu Zhihong, 1999 non A. clavatus Pilipjuk, 1981; and Anagyrus sergueii Trjapitzin, nom. n. for Anagyrus orbitalis Timberlake, 1941 non A. orbitalis (Ruschka, 1923). Material on encyrtids from the Macaronesian islands Tenerife and Madeira in the museums in Madrid, Helsinki and Washington were examined.  相似文献

A new tenebrionid species, Toxicum elviraesp. n. (Tenebrioninae: Toxicini), is described from Primorskii Territory of Russia. The new species belongs to the subgenus Mutiloxicumsubgen. n. and differs from the congeners in the absence of horns on the male head (only supra-orbital swellings and a small epistomal tubercle are present), in the erect pubescence on the outer surface of the mandible, and in the strongly projecting, acute anterior angles of the pronotum. The new species feeds on epiphytic foliose physcioid lichens, in contrast to the other Toxicum species which feed on bracket fungi (Polyporales). The taxonomic significance of the head armature in the subtribe Toxicina is discussed. A key to the genera of the subtribe Toxicini is given.  相似文献

The review contains a key to females of the species of the genus Leptomastidea Mercet, 1926 of the World fauna and annotated synopsis of 25 species with data on their distribution, hosts, plants, and use in biological control [for L. abnormis (Girault)]. L. ljubodragi sp. n. is described from Montenegro. A new genus Proleptomastidea gen. n. is erected for Leptanusia enigmatica Trjapitzin, 1971 from Turkmenistan. Leptanusia turkmenica Myartseva, 1978 is transferred to the genus Anagyrus Howard, 1896 and, thus, a new combination, Anagyrus turkmenicus (Myartseva, 1978), comb. n., is formed.  相似文献
