Changes in time and space in the physical and chemical variables connected to the oxygen P/R ratio were studied.Temperature, light transmission, dissolved oxygen and its day-night cycles were measured periodically in the floodwater; in addition, concentrations of total phosphorus, proteins and chlorophyll-a in the particulate suspended matter were measured. Finally, the seasonal evolution of the redox conditions in the water and in the sediment were analysed.Highly significant correlations between pH and D.O. in the water, and oxygen production were found; the pH and Eh values of the water/sediment interface were strictly related to the corresponding values reached in the water. The composition and the size of the particulate suspended matter pool seemed to be relatively stable and unrelated to the physical and chemical characteristics of the water.  相似文献

Chlorophylls (Chls)-a and -c2 are identified and characterized in fucoxanthin chlorophyll-a/c2 protein (FCP) complexes in the trimeric (FCPatrim) and oligomeric (FCPbolig) forms of FCP from the diatom Cyclotella meneghiniana using resonance Raman (RR) spectroscopy. Importantly, two different Chl-c2s are identified in both FCPatrim and FCPbolig from their signature ring-breathing modes at ∼ 1360 cm1. In addition, the C131-keto carbonyl peaks indicate the presence of more than four Chl-a's in both FCP complexes and are broadly classified into three groups with strong, medium and weak external hydrogen bonds. Together, they provide the strongest spectroscopic evidence so far that there may be up to double the number of pigments previously estimated at 4Fx:4Chl-a:1Chl-c2 per FCP monomer. Careful analysis of the protein sequences also strongly support the higher pigment content by showing that at least six Chl-a, and one Chl-b, binding sites found in LHCII are retained in the FCPs. The relative enhancement of the RR bands for 406.7 versus 413.1 nm further allows some distinction of blue- versus red-absorbing Chl-a’s, respectively. Further differences between the Chls in FCPbolig and FCPatrim are present in the amino-acid sequences and the RR signals. Information about the Chl-binding sites, complemented by information about the structures and interactions of the Chls are used to characterize their local environments, and assign pigment locations (and functions) in FCPbolig and FCPatrim, which along with the earlier characterization of the carotenoids (J. Phys. Chem. B. 112 (2009) 12565-12574) provide a first (global) framework for pigment organization in FCP.  相似文献

以浙江省象山港虾塘藻华中分离的一种颗石藻(Pleurochrysis sp.)为对象,对温度差异造成的藻类在种群水平上的增殖特征,以及相应增殖过程中细胞的生化特征变化进行了比较研究,包括:差异温度(低温7℃, 高温25℃)下,盐度(5, 15, 30, 45)和光照(低光照 <2 μE·m-2s-1, 高光照100 μE·m-2s-1)不同组合条件影响下的种群增殖特征;差异温度下,种群生长过程中的氮、磷消耗特征,细胞Chl-a的变化特征,以及细胞总多糖变化特征比较.结果显示:颗石藻在低温低光照条件下,不同盐度水平中均维持存活,没有种群增殖;低温高光照下,经低温适应期后,种群可以增殖.高温低光照导致各组种群迅速衰退.高温高光照下颗石藻快速增殖.相同光、温条件下,盐度15, 30, 45的种群增殖趋势相似,盐度5不利于种群增殖.在其它环境因子相同的条件下,温度差异导致颗石藻在种群增殖策略上不同,其间相应的生化特征也存在差异:低温中,颗石藻耐受适应期长,种群生长率低下,期间的氮、磷消耗率低,细胞Chl-a含量降低,细胞总多糖含量高于高温组;低温适应后,颗石藻种群增殖,且达到稳定的增殖速率,增殖期间大量消耗氮、磷营养盐,细胞Chl-a含量渐增,细胞总多糖含量维持相对稳定.高温中,颗石藻快速增殖,初期生长率高,大量氮、磷营养盐在此期中消耗,细胞Chl-a含量渐增,细胞总多糖含量低于低温组,种群生长后期细胞总多糖出现累积.  相似文献

初夏渤海湾初级生产力分布特征及影响因素   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1  
根据2016年初夏在渤海湾周边重要经济开发区外海域所进行的调查和研究数据进行分析,利用稳定同位素13C示踪技术估算海域内初级生产力(Primary Productivity,PP)等,同时结合叶绿素a(Chlorophyll-a,Chl a),营养盐以及透明度等水文环境参数,深入分析和探讨初夏渤海湾环境特征对浮游植物生物量(Chl a)和初级生产力的影响。结果表明:受陆地径流和渤海中部冷流输入等因素的影响,调查海域呈现3个温盐特征差异显著的海区,即近岸高温低盐海区、中部高温高盐海区和湾口低温高盐海区。Chl a受温度和营养盐等因素影响整体呈现近岸高湾口低、表层高底层低的分布特征,含量变化范围为1.27-20.82 mg/m3;在近岸营养盐含量充足,温度适宜,浮游植物生产旺盛,Chl a平均含量达(8.37±2.90)mg/m3,其中表层近27.5%水样中含量超10 mg/m3,存在发生赤潮的风险。而在中部和湾口区域受营养盐限制和温度的影响,Chl a含量远低于近岸。PP整体水平在44.79-792.73 mg C m-3 d-1之间,平均为(144.13±137.79)mg C m-3 d-1。其中近岸营养盐含量充足浮游植物生长旺盛,初级生产力水平较高,而中部和湾口海域受营养盐和温度的限制,初级生产力水平较低。初级生产力指数I(同化系数)变化范围在0.79-5.90 mg C/(mg Chl a·h)之间,平均为(3.40±1.33)mg C/(mg Chl a·h)。利用标准深度积分模型对水柱初级生产力(Depth-integrated primary productivity,∑PP)进行估算,结果表明其范围在56.88-772.31 mg C m-2 d-1之间,平均为(232.26±126.47)mg C m-2 d-1,近岸受陆源输入影响Chl a较高,在天津海河口和黄骅市排污河外出现高值点,受透明度的影响,中部和湾口部分站点出现高生产力区。  相似文献

The attenuation of ultraviolet and visible radiation in Dutch inland waters   总被引:8,自引:0,他引:8  
The vertical attenuation coefficients (K d) of downward ultraviolet (UV) and visible irradiance (PAR) were measured in 19 different inland waters in the Netherlands using a scanning spectroradiometer. Water chemistry variables such as dissolved organic carbon (DOC), absorbance of dissolved matter (a d), chlorophyll-a, and particulate matter were measured to determine the relative contribution of dissolved and particulate components in explaining the variation in K d. In addition to the field measurements, laboratory measurements were performed to test the relationships between water properties and light attenuation. The attenuation properties of Dutch inland waters vary. In most systems the penetration of UV-B radiation (280–320 nm) is limited to the upper decimetres. Lake Maarsseveen was the clearest waterbody in this study, with K dUVB of 9.1 (m–1). The DOC concentration had limited power in predicting UV attenuation in this study (r 2=0.33), because of the large differences in carbon-specific absorption. A d300 was a much better predictor of UV attenuation (r 2=0.75). The relationships obtained in the laboratory experiments can be used to give a good prediction of in situ K d values, based on 3 variables (chlorophyll-a, ash weight, and absorption of dissolved matter).  相似文献

基于太湖水体1993—2002年5—9月监测资料,进行了叶绿素a含量与总氮(TN)、总磷(TP)浓度关系的分区统计分析,探讨了太湖藻类生长的TN、TP适宜浓度。结果表明:太湖叶绿素a含量与TN、TP浓度的关系存在显著的空间差异;在梅梁湾和西北区,当TN、TP浓度较低时,叶绿素a含量与TN、TP浓度呈正相关;当TN、TP浓度较高时(梅梁湾TN、TP浓度分别超过5.4和0.31mg.L-1;西北区分别超过4.5和0.27mg.L-1),叶绿素a含量与TN、TP浓度呈负相关;在湖心区和贡湖区,叶绿素a含量与TN、TP浓度呈正相关,尤其当TP浓度超过0.1mg.L-1时,叶绿素a含量随TP浓度增加而上升;在东太湖和湖东滨岸区,随TN、TP浓度的升高,叶绿素a含量变化较小;在西南区,叶绿素a含量与TN浓度无显著相关关系,与TP浓度呈正相关;太湖藻类生长的适宜浓度是TN<5.4mg.L-1,TP为0.1~0.31mg.L-1。  相似文献

Three clones of marine Synechococcus (WH6501, WH7803, and WH8018) were grown through at least three transfers, at 6-day intervals, in synthetic medium with total iron concentrations from 10?9 to 10?6 M. After 6 days of exponential growth, these cultures were harvested, and the cell density and protein and pigment concentrations were measured. Aliquots of the culture were assayed for their carbon fixation rates at two light intensities. Cell density and protein concentration increased by up to 7.8 times over a range of iron from the lowest (10?9 M) to the highest concentrations (10?6 M). The concentration of chlorophyll-a and phycobiliproteins showed a wider range of response, increasing by up to 48 times. The carbon fixation rate (per mL of culture) also increased approximately 40 times over the total range of iron concentration. The ranges of these biochemical and physiological responses were much lower than the range of total available iron, which was 1000-fold, and the range of total cellular iron, which was estimated to be about 160-fold. This “less-than-linear” relationship indicates that the cells are adapting to make more efficient use of iron under limiting conditions. Our results demonstrate characteristics of iron-limited Synechococcus that may be important in understanding the relationships between primary productivity and iron availability in the oceans.  相似文献

Summary We have isolated and analyzed cDNA clones for aSilene pratensis chlorophyll-a/b-binding protein (CAB) and a small subunit (SS) of ribulosebisphosphate carboxylase. These cDNA clones contain the coding information for the complete transit peptides. The CAB clone codes for a divergent CAB protein that differs from most published CAB sequences in both the transit peptide part and in the amino terminal part of the mature protein, a region with an important regulatory function. The SS clone codes for a precursor that is homologous to other published precursor sequences. In the mature part some non-conservative changes are observed.Silene cDNA clones for four chloroplast specific precursor proteins that are directed towards three different chloroplast compartments have been analyzed and the transit peptides compared.  相似文献

Comparison of total phosphorus and chlorophyll-a concentration, nutrient loading, and water turn-over time in six shallow choked lagoons along the coast of the state of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, established that water turn-over time is related to the trophic state of the lagoons with additional anthropogenic nutrient loading affecting this relationship. Turnover time was calculated as a flushing half-life from rainfall, evaporation, runoff, and tidal exchange data, and trophic state was calculated from the quantity and quality of dissolved inorganic nutrients, total phosphorus, and chlorophyll-a standing stock. Flushing half-life of the lagoons ranged between 1 and 27 days, annual phosphorus areal loading from 3 to 18 mg m–2d–1, and chlorophyll-a standing stock from 6 to 160 mg M–2  相似文献
