The discovery of an earlier epithet for the eglandular-haired subspecies of the Eurasian tetraploid Solarium villosum Miller has necessitated a name change and a new combination. The taxon previously called S. villosum Miller subsp. puniceum (Kirschl.) Edmonds now becomes S. villosum subsp. miniatum (Bernh. ex Willd.) Edmonds. Additional synonyms of this subspecies are given, together with the reasons for the selection of the epithet 'miniatum' rather than 'humile' which was published at the same time.  相似文献

BLANCHE, C. & MOLERO, J., 1993. Taxonomic and nomenclatural notes on Delphinium L. Delphinium viciosoi Pau and Delphinium intrincatum Pau, two poorly known plants from Iran, are typified. A new combination for the latter, Aconitella intrincata (Pau) Blanche & Molero is given. The name Delphinium ambiguum L. should not be attached to the plant known as Delphinium nanum DC, but should be considered as a synonym for Consolida ajacis (L.) The correct type species of Antennatula Fr. ex F. Strauss 1850 was quite recently considered to be Antennularia ericophila (Link) Höhn., not Antennatula pinophila (Nees) F. Strauss, and currently the illegitimate name Antennatula is regarded as a synonym of Metacapnodium Speg. 1918 (Metacapnodiaceae). Among Euantennaria Speg. 1918 and competing synonymous generic names Aithalomyces Woron. 1926, Phaeocapnis Cif. & Bat. 1963, Hormisciella Bat. 1956, and Hormisciomyces Bat. & Nacim. 1957, Euantennaria is adopted. As a consequence, with the change to one scientific name for pleomorphic fungi, the following 10 new combinations in Euantennaria (Euantennariaceae) for species of Antennatula sensu or used by Hughes are herein proposed: Euantennaria atra, E. cubensis, E. dingleyae, E. fisherae, E. fraserae, E. katumotoi, E. lumbricoidea, E. pinophila, E. shawiae, and E. triseptata. Safranine was one of the earliest coal tar dyes following mauveine. By the end of the 19th century, many alkylated derivatives of safranine had been made. Oncostemma cuspidatum K. Schum., described from the West African island of S˜o Tomé, is recognized as being synonymous with Tylophora oblonga N.E. Br., a widespread and variable species of mainland African rainforests. The monotypic genus Oncostemma K. Schum. is reduced to synonymy with Tylophora R. Br. Three new species are described in Biscutella sect. Biscutella from the central-eastern mountains of the Iberian Peninsula: B. bilbilitana Mateo & M.B. Crespo, B. segurae Mateo & M.B. Crespo, and B. conquensis Mateo & M.B. Crespo. They are characterized morphologically, ecologically and chorologically. Data separating them from B. valentina (L.) Heywood, a taxon to which they sometimes have been referred, are also reported.  相似文献

Bio-Rex 70 chromatography was combined with reverse-phase (RP) HPLC to fractionate histone H1 zero and 4 histone H1 subtypes from human placental nuclei as previously described (Parseghian MH et al., 1993, Chromosome Res 1:127-139). After proteolytic digestion of the subtypes with Staphylococcus aureus V8 protease, peptides were fractionated by RP-HPLC and partially sequenced by Edman degradation in order to correlate them with human spleen subtypes (Ohe Y, Hayashi H, Iwai K, 1986, J Biochem (Tokyo) 100:359-368; 1989, J Biochem (Tokyo) 106:844-857). Based on comparisons with the sequence data available from other mammalian species, subtypes were grouped. These groupings were used to construct a coherent nomenclature for mammalian somatic H1s. Homologous subtypes possess characteristic patterns of growth-related and cAMP-dependent phosphorylation sites. The groupings defined by amino acid sequence also were used to correlate the elution profiles and electrophoretic mobilities of subtypes derived from different species. Previous attempts at establishing an H1 nomenclature by chromatographic or electrophoretic fractionations has resulted in several misidentifications. We present here, for the first time, a nomenclature for somatic H1s based on amino acid sequences that are analogous to those for H1 zero and H1t. The groupings defined should be useful in correlating the many observations regarding H1 subtypes in the literature.  相似文献
