对蜚蠊单个机械感受器诱发反应峰电位的历程及幅度,使用系列分析、栅分析、时序分布、累加密度函数、栅—频分析、特征参数的伪三维隐线显示、峰电位幅度概率密度函数、峰电位间隔概率密度函数等分析方法,获得较多的神经信号间隔编码信息,以揭示刺激和反应之间的复杂关系。峰电位间隔和栅—频分析图由函数经曲线拟合后,分别求得描述其动态过程的时间常数τ_1,τ_2和τ_3,应用上述多种分析显示方法,使研究者更为直观地观察和定量描述刺激—反应间的动态关系。     

Putrescine uptake regulation in response to alpha-difluoromethylornithine treatment in Leishmania infantum promastigotes

Summary The putrescine uptake/efflux regulation and their regulatory role on intracellular polyamine pools have been studied in the parasitic protozoa Leishmania infantum. Putrescine uptake was age-dependent with maximal values in logarithmic phase promastigotes and minimal in stationary phase. Moreover, putrescine uptake was activated in response to depletion of intracellular polyamines by alpha-difluoromethylornithine (DFMO) — a well known irreversible enzyme-activated inhibitor of ornithine decarboxylase. Kinetic studies of putrescine uptake induction showed a notable rise in Vmax without Km changes, suggesting a de novo synthesis of putrescine carriers. Putrescine uptake was able to replenish polyamine content and also to recover the proliferative rate in cells treated during 24 hours with DFMO.     

Highly selective affinity labelling of RNA polymerase B (II) from wheat germ

DNA-dependent RNA polymerase B (II) from wheat germ was modified by incubation with 4-[N-(β-hydroxyethyl)-N-methyl]benzaldehyde esters of AMP, ADP or ATP, followed by reduction with NaBH₄. Reaction of the modified enzyme with [-³²P]UTP in the presence of various DNA templates led to a highly selective affinity labelling of the subunit with M_r 140000 by covalently linked ApU. Labelling was inhibited by 1μg/ml -amanitin.     

Percottus glehni Dybowski — a new colonizer in the ichthyofauna of Lake Glubokoe

Percottus glehni is a new colonizer in the ichthyofauna of Lake Glubokoe. Recently, this species, established in the European part of the USSR nearly 30 years ago, has become common in the lakes and ponds located 3–5 km from Lake Glubokoe. In Lake Glubokoe it keeps mainly to water thyme (Elodea) in shallow water with individuals up to 7 cm in size being predominant. Apparently, these fishes are not abundant due to strong predation pressure from larger predators.     

Isolation and Identification of α-(γ-Aminobutyryl)-Hypusine

A new dipeptide, alpha-(gamma-aminobutyryl)-hypusine, was identified in bovine brain. This compound was isolated from trichloroacetic acid-soluble fraction of bovine brain with five steps of ion-exchange chromatography. Its structure was postulated by routine chemical analyses and determined by synthesis. The amount of the compound isolated from 1.2 kg of bovine brain was 870 nmol.     

Lead and cadmium content of Indian flue-cured tobacco

Summary Studies on levels of lead and cadmium of Indian flue-cured tobacco indicated that the leaf contained very low amounts of these heavy metals as compared to tobacco from other countries. Indian tobacco can therefore be adjudged as ‘safe and clean’ and least hazardous to the smoker. Of the two heavy metals, lead content of soils is higher than cadmium. But in the leaf, cadmium content is more than lead indicating that soil cadmium may be more available to tobacco and hence more readily absorbed by the plant than lead.     

Binding of the Novel Serotonin Agonist 8-Hydroxy-2-(Di-n-Propylamino) Tetralin in Normal and Alzheimer Brain

Binding of [3H]8-hydroxy-2-(di-n-propylamino) tetralin, a putative ligand for the 5-hydroxytryptamine (5-HT, serotonin) 1A recognition site, was measured in neocortex from postmortem human brain. The substance was found to bind to a saturable site with a KD value and pharmacological profile similar to that of rat. Binding to membranes from normal human temporal cortex was found to significantly correlate (inversely) with age. A significant reduction in binding, reflecting decreased density of recognition sites, was observed in the frontal cortex of patients with Alzheimer's disease (48% loss). This region in the dement brains showed unaltered presynaptic 5-HT function (5-HT and 5-hydroxyindoleacetic acid content) whereas 5-HT concentration was reduced in the temporal cortex.     

(6R)-Tetrahydrobiopterin Increases the Activity of Tryptophan Hydroxylase in Rat Raphe Slices

The effects of (6R)- and (6S)-tetrahydrobiopterin (BPH4), tetrahydroneopterin, and 6-methyltetrahydropterin on the activity of tryptophan hydroxylase were investigated in rat raphe slices. The activity of tryptophan hydroxylase was estimated by measurement of 5-hydroxytryptophan (5-HTP) formation under inhibition of aromatic L-amino acid decarboxylase with use of HPLC-fluorometric detection. (6R)-BPH4 (the naturally occurring form) at 42 microM, tetrahydroneopterin at 50 microM, and 6-methyltetrahydropterin at 100 microM increased tryptophan hydroxylase activity to 350, 145, and 146% of control values, respectively. (6S)-BPH4, however, had no significant effects on tryptophan hydroxylase activity. These results suggest that tryptophan hydroxylase is subsaturating in vivo for the naturally occurring cofactor, (6R)-BPH4, and that the concentration of (6R)-BPH4 may play an important role for the regulation of tryptophan hydroxylase activity in vivo.     

Solubilization and Characterization of D2-Dopamine Receptors in an Estrone-Induced, Prolactin-Secreting Rat Pituitary Adenoma

D2-dopamine (3,4-dihydroxyphenylethylamine) receptors were successfully solubilized with 3-[(3-cholamidopropyl)-dimethylammonio]-1-propane sulfonate from an estrone-induced rat pituitary adenoma. Forty-five percent of initial protein and 48% of initial [3H]spiroperidol binding sites were solubilized. The high affinity as well as the stereoselectivity of the sites was preserved. The order of potency of dopaminergic agonists was found to be typical of D2 receptors. Target size analysis by radiation inactivation indicated a molecular weight of 143,000 +/- 3,000 and of 106,000 +/- 4,000 daltons for membrane-bound and solubilized receptors, respectively. This suggests the loss of a 37,000-dalton subunit during solubilization without significant modification of binding characteristics. Sodium dodecyl sulfate-polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis of receptor protein preparation photolabeled with N-(p-azido-m[125I]iodophenethyl)spiroperidol confirmed the existence of a 94,000-dalton peptide which probably constitutes the ligand binding site of the receptor. Thus, our data indicate that chronic estrogen treatment of rats, although inducing a pituitary adenoma, does not modify the pharmacological characteristics of D2 receptors. These data suggest therefore that these adenoma may represent an ideal source of material for further biochemical characterization of D2 receptors.

在SO_2熏气9h过程中,小麦叶片中乙烯先上升,约6h达高峰,后下降;ACC含量则随熏气时间的延长而上升。停止熏气,乙烯继续下降,ACC含量也明显降低。MACC含量从熏气3h后不断上升,脱离接触后仍继续增加。6-BA预处理对SO_2引起的乙烯和ACC上升有促进作用,但对MACC含量无明显影响。SO_2熏气提高了乙烯形成酶活性。6-BA预处理对SO_2伤害有保护作用。对逆境乙烯的产生与调节作用进行了讨论。
