目的:分析不同颧颞部骨折性质与颞部凹陷的相关性,评价颧颞部骨折术后并发颞部凹陷的防治效果。方法:对105例颧颞部骨折病例进行回顾性分析,52例患者行颞部凹陷修复术,采用头皮冠状切口,应用钛网修复颞部凹陷,术后通过长期随访评价治疗效果。结果:陈旧性骨折颞部凹陷的发生率显著高于新鲜骨折,但治疗后颞部外形均有明显改善。结论:钛网植入能有效地修复颧颞部骨折术后并发的颞部凹陷,但应把握手术时机及治疗方法。 相似文献

目的:研究伴海马硬化的难治性颞叶癫痫(TLE)患者海马组织内脑源性神经营养因子(brain derived neurotrophic factor,BDNF)的表达变化,探讨其在难治性颞叶癫痫发病机制中的作用。方法:采集5例伴海马硬化的难治性TLE患者手术中切除的海马组织,用逆转录-聚合酶链反应(RT-PCR)法检测BDNF mRNA表达,并与3例非海马硬化TLE患者对照。结果:与非海马硬化组比较,伴海马硬化的难治性TLE患者海马组织中的BDNF mRNA表达明显增加(P<0.01)。结论:伴海马硬化的难治性TLE患者海马组织中BDNF mRNA表达表达增高,可能在海马硬化和难治性颞叶癫痫发生、发展中具有重要作用。 相似文献

Intensity of the cholesterol-to-coprostanol conversion in the intestine, as assessed by the coprostanol-to-cholesterol ratio in faeces, was found highly variable among 15 human volunteers, ranging from absent to almost complete cholesterol conversion. The number of coprostanoligenic bacteria in the same faecal samples, as estimated by the most probable number method, was found to be less than 10(6) cellsg-1 of fresh stools in the low-to-inefficient converters and at least 10(8) cellsg-1 of fresh stools in the highest converters, indicating that the population level of cultivable faecal coprostanoligenic bacteria correlated with the intensity of cholesterol-to-coprostanol conversion in the human gut. Microbial communities of the samples were profiled by temporal temperature gradient gel electrophoresis (TTGE) of bacterial 16S rRNA gene amplicons. Dendrogram analysis of the TTGE profiles using the Pearson product moment correlation coefficient and a unweighted pair group method with arithmetic averages (UPGMA) algorithm clearly separated banding patterns from low-to-inefficient and high converters in two different clusters suggesting a relationship between TTGE profiles and coprostanoligenic activity. The dynamics of populations of short-lived organisms are very patchy, both in space and time. The production of dormant propagules, however, results in an effective increase in generation time. We hypothesize that prolonged dormancy, together with variable regeneration niches, result in integration of temporal variability in community structure. In addition, in aquatic habitats, mechanisms such as sediment focussing can contribute to the integration of spatial variability. We tested the hypothesis that dormant propagule banks integrate spatial and temporal variation in active zooplankton communities. This was done by comparing cladoceran species richness and the community structure of hatchling assemblages retrieved from propagule bank samples collected on a single occasion with assemblages encountered in active community samples covering spatial variation (littoral and pelagic zone), diel (day and night), intra-year (May–October) and inter-year variation (1996–2000). The egg bank community structure differed significantly from the active community structure, but the dissimilarity decreased as spatial and temporal variation was better covered by the active community samples. Furthermore, the identification of all fully grown hatchlings (n=214) yielded an equally high number of species (n=22) to that occurring in all active community samples together (a total of 1,730 individuals were analysed). We conclude that the analysis of dormant propagules may form a cost-efficient alternative tool to the analysis of active community samples for an integrated assessment of cladoceran communities. 相似文献

While there has been much focus in biodiversity conservation that transcends place, few studies transcend time. Yet an appreciation of vegetational and hydrological succession is essential for maintaining a habitat that has been created with the aim of conserving a particular group of organisms. This is a study of changes in a dragonfly assemblage over a period of 13 years at a biodiversity-rich, southern hemisphere reservoir. A total of 30 dragonfly species were recorded in this study, compared to 12 species before the reservoir was constructed in 1988, and 26 species in 1993, with 25 species resident in both 1993 and 2001. Two of these are local endemics. One other endemic was lost to succession in 1993 but reappeared in 2001. Three other species never reappeared after succession in 1993, yet six other species appeared after this date. Multivariate analyses identified structural and compositional vegetation, especially marginal forest, percentage vegetation cover, percentage shade, as the most important environmental variables determining dragonfly species composition. Other important environmental variables were grasses of tall, medium and short height categories, submerged vegetation, water flow and amount of open water. Not surprisingly, successional changes in vegetation physiognomy and in water conditions significantly increased Odonata species richness and diversity over the years. More importantly, the study shows that to maintain both high species richness, including endemics, it is essential to maintain a variety of biotopes using selective management of the marginal vegetation without allowing succession to proceed to a point where overgrowth of the bank and silting of the bottom begin to impoverish the fauna. 相似文献

In species that lack parental care and whose larvae are restricted to a given space throughout development, choice of egg-laying or reproductive sites often greatly influences fitness. Furthermore, reproductive success of individuals may be affected not only by conditions of the breeding area but also by the time when they start to breed, because intraspecific variation in the timing of breeding may result in asymmetric competition between larvae. We addressed these issues in an experimental and field study of the Japanese brown frog, Rana japonica. We tested whether the survival success of larvae decreased with an increase in the number of deposited egg masses and with a greater delay in oviposition. We found that the number of egg masses and timing of oviposition together significantly predicted larval survival per clutch. Moreover, we observed the natural oviposition of R. japonica to examine the prediction that if the density of larvae and the timing of oviposition affect survivorship of larvae, R. japonica will avoid depositing eggs in pools in which egg masses have already been deposited. We found that for small pools only, R. japonica tended to favor oviposition at unoccupied pools (those lacking egg masses and larvae) in the spawning season. For large pools, however, adults favored those already occupied by egg masses in the spawning period. The density of egg masses and tadpoles or the timing of oviposition may have less effect on spawning or the survival of tadpoles in large pools than in small pools. 相似文献

The modulation effects of d-amphetamine and procaine on the spontaneously generated action potentials were studied on the RP1 central neuron of giant African snails (Achatina fulica Ferussac). Extra-cellular application of d-amphetamine or procaine reversibly elicited bursts of potential (BoP). Prazosin, propranolol, atropine or d-tubocurarine did not alter the BoP elicited by either d-amphetamine or procaine. KT-5720 or H89 (protein kinase A inhibitors) blocked d-amphetamine-elicited BoP, whereas they did not block the procaine-elicited BoP. U73122, neomycin (phospholipase C inhibitors) blocked the procaine-elicited BoP, whereas they did not block the d-amphetamine-elicited BoP in the same neuron. These results suggest that BoP elicited by d-amphetamine or procaine were associated with protein kinase A and phospholipase C activity in the neuron. 相似文献

Based on the discrete definition of biological regulatory networks developed by René Thomas, we provide a computer science formal approach to treat temporal properties of biological regulatory networks, expressed in computational tree logic. It is then possible to build all the models satisfying a set of given temporal properties. Our approach is illustrated with the mucus production in Pseudomonas aeruginosa. This application of formal methods from computer science to biological regulatory networks should open the way to many other fruitful applications. 相似文献
