测定了扶桑绵粉蚧2龄若虫对11科24种蔬菜的取食选择性。结果显示,在8种绿叶类蔬菜中,扶桑绵粉蚧对旋花科的空心菜具有较强的取食选择性;在8种果实类蔬菜中,扶桑绵粉蚧喜欢取食葫芦科的南瓜;在8种根茎类蔬菜中,扶桑绵粉蚧喜欢取食茄科的马铃薯和天南星科的芋艿。在11科蔬菜中,扶桑绵粉蚧比较嗜好茄科、葫芦科、旋花科、菊科、天南星科等科的蔬菜。24种蔬菜上,扶桑绵粉蚧的瞬时增长率ri均大于0,表明24种蔬菜均能满足扶桑绵粉蚧生长发育和种群增长的需要。综合比较扶桑绵粉蚧对寄主的选择性、种群建立率和瞬时增长率,认为扶桑绵粉蚧在马铃薯、南瓜、空心菜、生菜、芋艿、苋菜等蔬菜上的适生性较高,在大豆、豇豆、木耳菜等蔬菜上的适生性较低。  相似文献

蜜柚不同砧穗组合苗期嫁接亲和性评价   总被引:2,自引:0,他引:2  
为评价蜜柚砧穗的嫁接亲和性,以红绵蜜柚(Citrus grandis‘Hongmianmiyou’)、三红蜜柚(‘Sanhongmiyou’)、红肉蜜柚(‘Hongroumiyou’)、黄金蜜柚(‘Huangjinmiyou’)和琯溪蜜柚(‘Guanximiyou’)作接穗,枳(Poncirus trifoliata)、香橙(Citrus junos)、酸柚(Citrus grandis)作砧木,田间调查15个砧穗组合苗期生长指标,测定嫁接愈合期叶片多酚氧化酶(PPO)和过氧化物酶(POD)活性、可溶性蛋白和可溶性糖含量,采用主成分分析和聚类分析方法对蜜柚砧穗组合嫁接亲和性进行评价。结果表明,以柚作砧木的砧穗组合保存率高、生长势旺盛、抽梢能力强,以枳和香橙作砧木的砧穗组合部分指标存在差异,其中红绵蜜柚和黄金蜜柚以枳作砧木时表现出不亲和现象。不同砧穗组合嫁接愈合时期PPO、POD、可溶性蛋白和可溶性糖变化趋势基本一致。主成分分析结果表明,4个主成分基本反映了15个指标91.33%的数据信息。聚类分析将15个砧穗组合分为4类,与主成分分析结果基本一致。因此,琯溪蜜柚、红肉蜜柚和三红蜜柚嫁接可采用枳和柚作砧木,红绵蜜柚和黄金蜜柚嫁接可采用柚作砧木,红绵蜜柚和黄金蜜柚嫁接不可采用枳作砧木。  相似文献

Epiphytes constitute over 70% of orchid diversity, but little is known about the functioning of their mycorrhizal associations. Terrestrial orchid seeds germinate symbiotically in soil and leaf litter, whereas epiphytic orchids may be exposed to relatively high light levels from an early stage of development and often produce green seeds. This suggests that seedlings of the two groups of orchids may differ in their responses to light and requirements for mycorrhiza-supplied carbon. The interactive effects of light, exogenous carbon and mycorrhizal status on germination and growth were investigated in vitro using axenic agar microcosms for one tropical epiphyte and three geophytic orchid species. The geophytic species strongly depended on their mycorrhiza for growth and this could not be substituted by exogenous sucrose, whereas the epiphytic species achieved 95% of the mycorrhizal seedling volume when supplied with exogenous sucrose in the dark. Mycorrhiza status strongly interacted with light exposure, enabling germination. Light inhibited or severely reduced growth, especially for the terrestrial orchids in the absence of mycorrhiza. For the first time, this study showed the parallel ecological importance of mycorrhizal fungi in overcoming light inhibition of seed germination and growth in both terrestrial and epiphytic orchids.  相似文献

Overabundance of woody plants in semiarid ecosystems can degrade understory herbaceous vegetation and often requires shrub reduction and seeding to recover ecosystem services. We used meta‐analysis techniques to assess the effects of fire and mechanical shrub reduction over two post‐treatment timeframes (1–4 and 5–10 years) on changes in cover and frequency of 15 seeded species at 63 restoration sites with high potential for recovery. Compared to mechanical treatments, fire resulted in greater increases in seeded species. Native shrubs did not increase, and forbs generally declined over time; however, large increases in perennial grasses were observed, suggesting that seeding efforts contributed to enhanced understory herbaceous conditions. We found greater increases in a few non‐native species than native species across all treatments, suggesting the possibility that interference among seeded species may have influenced results of this regional assessment. Differences among treatments and species were likely driven by seedbed conditions, which should be carefully considered in restoration planning. Site characteristics also dictated seeded species responses: while forbs showed greater increases in cover over the long term at higher elevation sites considered to be more resilient to disturbance, surprisingly, shrubs and grasses had greater increases in cover and frequency at lower elevation sites where resilience is typically much lower. Further research is needed to understand the causes of forb mortality over time, and to decipher how greater increases of non‐native relative to native seeded species will influence species diversity and successional trajectories of restoration sites.  相似文献

以秦岭落叶阔叶林25 hm2固定样地的木本植物幼苗为研究对象,于2015 - 2019年对幼苗种类、数量、萌发和死亡情况进行调查,并对幼苗的物种组成、数量及动态特征进行分析。结果显示:5年间调查到的幼苗分属24科42属,共69个物种,累计记录 11 408 株;样地中的树种组成和优势树种组成基本不变,但整体物种数有减少趋势;幼苗数量在年际间和不同物种间有较大差异,17个物种幼苗数量较多,大于100株,其总和占幼苗总量的56.28%,产生新增幼苗的物种有53个,累计增加6280株;死亡幼苗6929株,其中4469株为新生幼苗,占新增幼苗总数的74.14%,新苗的死亡数远远大于旧苗死亡数;幼苗新增和死亡的高峰期大致吻合,出现在每年的5 - 7月。整体看来,秦岭大样地的幼苗数量处于平稳波动状态,物种更新较为稳定。  相似文献

Steppe-like dry (semi) natural grasslands are valuable and endangered habitats in central Europe. In the study area (the ?eské st?edoho?í Hills, Czech Republic), they occur in fragments on southern slopes of volcanic hills, often in the vicinity of quarries, which are numerous there. We performed sowing experiments and observed seedling recruitment of six species, typical for the dry grasslands, in 9 basalt quarries located in 3 different climatic regions over 3 yr. The sowing experiments were established in young successional stages, 5–12 yr after quarrying was stopped. The objectives of the experiments were to evaluate: (i) if seedling recruitment and survival of the target species are possible regarding different climatic regions and (ii) what is the influence of weather fluctuations among years on seedling survival. Seedlings of all studied species were able to recruit and survive in the early successional stages at least in some quarries. The species, except one, showed significant differences in recruitment among the climatic regions, with the best recruitment and survival in the driest and warmest region. Seedlings of two species did not recruit in the wettest and coldest region. All species survived in the driest and warmest region, while only one did so in the coldest and wettest region. Different weather conditions in the studied years significantly influenced recruitment of two species. The number of localities (floristic records) of particular species in the regions was the best predictor of species germination and survival. Thus a traditional floristic survey may help to predict success of species in restoration projects. It emerged that artificial sowing can be considered in restoration programs as a way of contributing to restoration of dry grasslands in disused quarries.  相似文献

To reveal the effects of artificial alteration of water level regime on the regeneration of lakeshore plants from seeds, we examined the factors causing regeneration failure in Lake Kasumigaura, Japan. A survey of microtopography within and around a remnant fragment of lakeshore vegetation revealed that, over a large range, the habitat is frequently inundated in spring under the current water regime, although it was rarely inundated under past water regimes. Analysis of the patterns of seedling emergence and establishment at microsites at various elevations revealed a significant negative correlation between number of inundation days and abundance or species-richness of seedlings that emerged in the spring. Most seedling deaths occurred when the study site was inundated. We suggest that regeneration failure caused by the artificial raising of the lakes water level is one of the principal mechanisms of the recent vegetational decline in the lake.  相似文献

Direct differentiation of somatic embryos occurs in high-frequency and at high density in response to 1.0 microM TDZ, on different regions-hypocotyl, epicotyl, cotyledonary-node, cotyledons and leaves-of intact seedlings of Azadirachta. One-week-old seedlings on this medium exhibited stress symptoms as visible by the loss of root formation and reduction in the elongation of hypocotyl and epicotyl. Globular somatic embryos were more abundant on hypocotyl, epicotyl, stem tip and leaves. The arrest of embryos at this stage was possibly due to their presence in high density. Well-developed somatic embryos were present on the cotyledons and the cotyledonary-node. These embryos on isolation and transfer to hormone-free medium regenerated readily to form plantlets. The possible role of stress in thidiazuron-induced somatic embryo formation is discussed.  相似文献

The temporal and spatial distribution of cysteine proteinases (CPRs) was analyzed immunologically and by in situ hybridization to identify the CPRs involved in the initiation of storage-globulin degradation in embryonic axes and cotyledons of germinating vetch (Vicia sativa L.). At the start of germination several CPRs were found in protein bodies in which they might have been stored in the mature seeds. Cysteine proteinase 1 was predominantly found in organs like the radicle, which first start to grow during germination. Cysteine proteinase 2 was also present at the start of germination but displayed a less-specific histological pattern. Proteinase B was involved in the globulin degradation of vetch cotyledons as well. The histological pattern of CPRs followed the distribution of their corresponding mRNAs. The latter were usually detected earlier than the CPRs but the in situ hybridization signals were histologically not as restricted as the immunosignals. Proteolytic activity started in the radicle of the embryonic axis early during germination. Within 24 h after imbibition it had also spread throughout the whole shoot. At the end of germination, newly synthesized CPRs might have supplemented the early detectable CPRs in the axis. In the cotyledons, only the abaxial epidermis and the procambial strands showed proteinase localization during germination. Both CPR1 and CPR2, as well as the less common proteinase B, might have been present as stored proteinases. Three days after imbibition, proteolytic activity had proceeded from the cotyledonary epidermis towards the vascular strands deeper inside the cotyledons. The histochemical detection of the CPRs was in accordance with the previously described histological pattern of globulin mobilization in germinating vetch [Tiedemann J, et al. (2000)]. A similar link between the distribution of CPRs and globulin degradation was found in germinating seeds of Phaseolus vulgaris L. The coincidence of the histological patterns of globulin breakdown with that of the CPRs indicates that at least CPR1, CPR2 and proteinase B are responsible for bulk globulin mobilization in the seeds of the two legumes.
