了解植物养分浓度及其化学计量对土壤因子的响应,对预测脆弱而敏感生态系统对环境变化的响应至关重要。以敦煌阳关湿地优势种芦苇(Phragmites australis)为对象,通过野外调查与实验分析,研究芦苇不同器官生态化学计量特征及其影响因素。结果表明:芦苇各器官C、P含量为叶>根>茎,N含量及N∶P为叶>茎>根,C∶N为根>茎>叶,C∶P则为茎>根>叶。叶、根C含量显著高于茎(P<0.05),叶、根C含量之间无显著差异(P>0.05),根、茎和叶N、P含量及C∶N、C∶P和N∶P差异显著(P<0.05);芦苇根N∶P<14,叶片N∶P>16,茎N∶P介于14~16;C含量在各器官之间均无显著相关性(P>0.05),根与茎、叶N含量之间呈极显著正相关(P<0.01),根与茎P含量呈极显著正相关(P<0.01),茎与叶N含量呈显著正相关(P<0.05);土壤盐分与芦苇根和茎N含量呈极显著正相关(P<0.01),土壤P含量与茎P含量呈极显著正相关(P<0.01),土壤有效P与根、茎N含量呈极显著正相关(P<0.01);土壤P是影响芦苇根、茎化学计量的主要因素,土壤盐分是影响叶片化学计量的主要因素,芦苇趋向提高各器官N含量来应对高盐、低P的土壤环境。  相似文献

为探明北京地区芦苇(Phragmites australis)的资源状态和多样性, 实地考察北京主要河流、湿地和水库, 发现北京地区芦苇总生长面积已超过600 hm2。芦苇染色体倍性以八倍体为主, 四倍体次之。在面积较大的湿地内, 八倍体单一芦苇群落占据优势地位; 而在城市的浅河内有形态和遗传性多样的混合种群。研究表明, 植物性状和倍性水平之间无显著相关性。在小清河发现了6种形态各异的芦苇克隆, 均属于叶绿体DNA片段的P单倍型; 其单倍体基因组大小为(0.499±0.019) pg, 变异系数为3.8%。这表明表型与单倍型之间也不具相关性。此外, 发现1个具有变叶特性的芦苇, 将其命名为金条芦苇。北京地区芦苇形态和遗传多样性为研究芦苇基因型与环境适应性之间的关系提供了珍贵的资源。  相似文献

温度变化和钾添加对扁秆藨草生长及繁殖的影响 人类活动导致的气候变暖和农业面源污染已被认为是影响湿地植物生长和繁殖的重要因素。为了预 测和缓解这些人类活动的影响,研究沼泽植物如何响应这些环境变化具有重要意义。本研究选取在欧亚 大陆广泛分布的莎草科球茎植物扁秆藨草(Bolboschoenus planiculmis)为研究对象,考察气温变化(恒温: 15、20、25 °C及交替温度:20/10和30/15 °C)和钾添加(0、1、3、9 和18 mmol/L)对其生长和繁殖性状 的影响。研究结果表明,高的恒温(20、25 °C)比高的交替温度(30/15 °C)更有利于扁秆藨草球茎的形成, 而地上生物量和株高一般在较高温度下(30/15、25 °C)达到最大值。扁秆藨草的繁殖和生长性状均与施钾量 呈驼峰型关系,最适施钾量在1–3 mmol/L K。高恒温效应和最适钾浓度的交互作用对繁殖性状的促进作 用最大,但是,较高的温度(30/15和25 °C)和0–9 mmol/L的钾浓度只促进了生长性状的生长。综上所述, 扁秆藨草的种群优势度可能受益于全球变暖和额外的钾添加。  相似文献

Elevated CO2 and nitrogen (N) addition directly affect plant productivity and the mechanisms that allow tidal marshes to maintain a constant elevation relative to sea level, but it remains unknown how these global change drivers modify marsh plant response to sea level rise. Here we manipulated factorial combinations of CO2 concentration (two levels), N availability (two levels) and relative sea level (six levels) using in situ mesocosms containing a tidal marsh community composed of a sedge, Schoenoplectus americanus, and a grass, Spartina patens. Our objective is to determine, if elevated CO2 and N alter the growth and persistence of these plants in coastal ecosystems facing rising sea levels. After two growing seasons, we found that N addition enhanced plant growth particularly at sea levels where plants were most stressed by flooding (114% stimulation in the + 10 cm treatment), and N effects were generally larger in combination with elevated CO2 (288% stimulation). N fertilization shifted the optimal productivity of S. patens to a higher sea level, but did not confer S. patens an enhanced ability to tolerate sea level rise. S. americanus responded strongly to N only in the higher sea level treatments that excluded S. patens. Interestingly, addition of N, which has been suggested to accelerate marsh loss, may afford some marsh plants, such as the widespread sedge, S. americanus, the enhanced ability to tolerate inundation. However, if chronic N pollution reduces the availability of propagules of S. americanus or other flood‐tolerant species on the landscape scale, this shift in species dominance could render tidal marshes more susceptible to marsh collapse.  相似文献

Low river inflow conditions during 2009/2010 resulted in the mouth of the Great Brak Estuary remaining closed for almost two years. The low water level in Wolwedans Dam resulted in no annual environmental flow releases being made, causing mouth closure. The response of primary producers to this prolonged period of mouth closure was investigated in 2010/2011. Urban and agricultural development in the river catchment and along the estuary banks had increased the nutrient inputs into the estuary. Mouth closure, combined with elevated nutrient concentrations, increased the growth of both macroalgae and microalgae, but little change was observed in the submerged macrophytes. Macroalgal mats covered large areas of open-water surface, smothering the salt marsh and causing a decrease in its cover. These results have important implications for the management of temporarily open/closed estuaries, as increased development, freshwater abstraction and reduced river flow will result in prolonged periods of closure and reduced tidal exchange, which is likely to lead to eutrophication.  相似文献

Salt marshes and the organisms that depend on them are subject to a variety of anthropogenic threats. In Florida, Worthington’s Marsh Wrens (Cistothorus palustris griseus) and MacGillivray’s Seaside Sparrows (Ammospiza maritima macgillivraii) are species of concern that inhabit a small, narrow range of salt marsh in the northeastern corner of the state, an area of increasing human development. The historic ranges of these subspecies encompassed salt marshes in five counties, but their ranges had contracted to just two counties by the early 2000s and their populations declined. We surveyed the historic ranges of the two subspecies during the breeding seasons of 2014 and 2015 to document their distributions, identify habitat features that influenced occupancy and density, and assess whether any recolonization had occurred in areas previously abandoned. We found that the ranges of both subspecies remained relatively stable compared to the early 2000s, with no signs of either further contraction or recolonization. Both Marsh Wrens and Seaside Sparrows were more likely to occupy areas farther from uplands. Marsh Wren occupancy was positively associated with marshes dominated by smooth cordgrass (Spartina alterniflora) and negatively associated with marshes dominated by black needlerush (Juncus roemerianus). Seaside Sparrows were more likely to occur at sites of moderate elevation. We found greater densities of both subspecies in areas farther from uplands, with moderate elevations, and dense vegetation. Marsh Wren density also increased in smooth cordgrass marshes, whereas sparrow numbers increased in areas of moderate vegetation height. Despite these differences between subspecies, the need for dense vegetation away from uplands highlights the importance of smooth cordgrass marshes in the region.  相似文献

A technique is described whereby 5th‐instar larvae of the codling moth (Laspeyresia pomonella) which have finished feeding can be tagged externally with cobalt‐58 and released on apple trees, where they seek cocooning sites. Two μCi 58Co per insect did not significantly affect larval survival in the field, or subsequent pupation, emergence, mating, and oviposition in the laboratory. Tagging was more efficient than whole‐tree scraping for the location of cocoons, and was non‐destructive of both the insects and their cocooning sites.

Relocation and observation of the tagged larvae in their cocoons permitted accurate estimation of mortality from when they left the fruit (= release) until adult emergence in the following spring. Natural mortality of larvae seeking cocooning sites was attributed mainly to insect predators, and varied significantly between trees and blocks, averaging 57% over 6 years. Avian predation by the silvereye (Zosterops lateralis) was the greatest hazard to cocooned larvae; this, too, varied significantly between blocks, and averaged 53% over the same period. The male and nymph of K. armillata are described and figured for the first time and the female genitalia redescribed. K. costalis is declared a junior synonym of K. armillata. We assessed diet selection, impact on vegetation, and explored habitat relationships with marsh birds of coypus (Myocastor coypus) in a steppe lagoon in Argentinean Patagonia. In two consecutive springs, abundance and spatial use of the coypus and nesting marsh birds were estimated by direct counts. The coypu was a selective consumer with seasonal variations in food items, and Myriophyllum sp. and Schoenoplectus californicus dominated its diet. Coypus and marsh birds showed a differential spatial use when rushes cover was high. However, when rushes cover decreased by coypu browsing, there was a similar use of space, and marsh birds were displaced to nest on the open water and other poorly protected areas of the rushes. Our results suggest that high abundances of coypu can have a detrimental effect on wetland ecosystems. Systematic monitoring and evaluation of their effects on wetlands in recently colonized areas is recommended.  相似文献
