在人工气候室研究了15个光敏核雄性不育系粳稻抽穗与结实对日长与温度的反应特性。1个品系抽穗的光周期反应极弱,8个中等;6个强;农垦58S与其原种反应均强.但PSP略有差异;而且农垦58S在雌雄蕊原基分化前移入LD,不但抽穗延迟且结实率显著降低,而农垦58抽穗虽延迟但结实正常。高温抽穗促进车品系间差异大,从0~4d.9%,较多为22%~38%。15个不育结实的光周期反应明显;它们在高温、低温、LD下结实明显受阻,有的即使在SD下结实率亦很低。说明它们雄性细胞较孱弱易受不良光、温条件危害,可能是遗传上有缺陷;繁种时应注意地区的光、温条件,并利用SD下结实尚可的品系。  相似文献

Some relevant traits of a wild (L) and a laboratory (C) strain of Hylemya antiqua (Meigen ), determining differences in their pupation ability under experimental conditions have been investigated in relation to genetic control. The wild strain showed an intrinsic higher pupation ability than the laboratory strain. The minimum feeding period was 0.6 days longer for the C strain. The minimum larval dry weight was different for the two strains. With a normal feeding period C larvae pupated on average 1.63 days later than L larvae. By the shortening of the larval feeding period an acceleration of the larval development of both strains was observed: the acceleration of development was more marked for the wild strain. This result has been contrasted with published works on Drosphila. The consequences of these differences as far as the competitive ability of each strain is concerned, have been discussed in relation to genetic control.  相似文献

A mathematical model for the perturbation of a biological oscillator by single and periodic impulses is analyzed. In response to a single stimulus the phase of the oscillator is changed. If the new phase following a stimulus is plotted against the old phase the resulting curve is called the phase transition curve or PTC (Pavlidis, 1973). There are two qualitatively different types of phase resetting. Using the terminology of Winfree (1977, 1980), large perturbations give a type 0 PTC (average slope of the PTC equals zero), whereas small perturbations give a type 1 PTC. The effects of periodic inputs can be analyzed by using the PTC to construct the Poincaré or phase advance map. Over a limited range of stimulation frequency and amplitude, the Poincaré map can be reduced to an interval map possessing a single maximum. Over this range there are period doubling bifurcations as well as chaotic dynamics. Numerical and analytical studies of the Poincaré map show that both phase locked and non-phase locked dynamics occur. We propose that cardiac dysrhythmias may arise from desynchronization of two or more spontaneously oscillating regions of the heart. This hypothesis serves to account for the various forms of atrioventricular (AV) block clinically observed. In particular 22 and 42 AV block can arise by period doubling bifurcations, and intermittent or variable AV block may be due to the complex irregular behavior associated with chaotic dynamics.  相似文献

We report period response curves (τRC) for two nocturnal Murid species from India, Mus booduga and Mus platythrix. We further discuss the method of phase shift estimation in the presence of τ-changes, because such changes pose a serious methodological problem in the estimation of phase shifts. Although the τRC indicates that most of the phase shifts are associated with small changes in τ, the period changes across all the phases showed a significant positive correlation with the phase shifts. We conclude that τRCs are a reality even in nocturnal mammals, although their amplitude is less than what is usually found in diurnal mammals, and requires a larger data set to be distinguished from noise.  相似文献

A consequence of simple velocity-based models is that, in response to light pulses, the circadian period should adjust inversely to phase. In addition, because of the interaction of circadian period and phase response, earlier circadian period changes should modify later circadian period changes. The literature contains few mentions of response curves of circadian period responses following light pulses. Rats were exposed to four pulses of light (60 minutes, 1000 lux) at the same circadian time, a minimum of 26 days apart; we assessed period responses and possible bias in the period-response curve. Modulation of circadian period following light-induced phase responses was examined by assessing the period of running wheel activity onset. Phase and circadian period were not consistently found to share an inverse relationship. Moreover, biases in initial period tended to be increased by the experimental protocol regardless of circadian time of pulse. Rats with a short initial (high-velocity) period had a lengthened period, while rats with a long initial period (low velocity) tended to have a reduce period. However, rats with a long initial period were phase delay biased, not phase advance biased. These results do not support a simple velocity model of the pacemaker. Sibling (cannibalism among siblings) and non-sibling cannibalism (cannibalism among non-siblings) were studied in a natural population of a lady beetle, Harmonia axyridisPallas . Of all the eggs laid (n=2269), 24.76% (n=562) were killed by sibling cannibalism and 36.10% (n=819) were killed by non-sibling cannibalism. Sibling cannibalism occurred constantly and intensively in most egg batches throughout the entire oviposition period. On the other hand, non-sibling cannibalism was more intense in the middle and late oviposition periods, and when the egg batches were close to an aphid colony. This may be due to the high density of H. axyridis larvae relative to aphid density in the middle and late oviposition periods and also the larvae searching intensively near an aphid colony.  相似文献

目的:探讨电磁脉冲(electromagneticpulses,E脚)对孕期小鼠及其胚胎发育的影响。方法:采用不同场强的EMP(分别为0、50、100、200、400kV·m-1)辐照器官形成期的BALB/c孕鼠,于孕18天解剖小鼠,测量孕鼠体重增长值、脏器/体重,胎盘重、胎鼠体重、身长、尾长,并记录吸收胎、死胎、生长发育迟缓及畸胎的数量。结果:各辐照剂量组孕鼠体重增长值、脏器/体重与对照组相比均无显著性差异(P〉0.05);胎盘重、胎鼠体重、身长、尾长数值明显低于对照组(P〈O.01)。50、400kV·m-1和100、200、400kV·m-1辐照组可分别导致死胎率和生长发育迟缓率增加(P〈0.05),在400kV·m-1的EMP辐照组中,畸胎数也有升高的趋势,其中,畸胎主要表现为肢体和骨发育异常。结论:本实验条件下,不同场强的EMP辐照可对器官形成期小鼠胚胎的生长发育产生一定的影响,胚胎肢芽及骨发育可能是EMP作用的特殊靶点。  相似文献

The phase and period responses to short light pulses were studied in the jerboa, a seasonal, hibernating, nocturnal rodent from the Atlas region in Morocco. The jerboa, which is a saltatory species, showed precise activity onsets and offsets under a light-dark (LD) cycle using infrared captors to record locomotor activity. When released into constant darkness (DD), the majority of animals showed a circadian period (τ) <24?h (mean τ?=?23.89?±?0.13?h) and a lengthening of the activity span, α. Animals were subsequently exposed to up to eight 15-min light pulses, each separated by at least 2 wks, for up to 160 days in DD. During this span, most individuals maintained robust circadian rhythmicity, with clearly defined activity onsets and offsets, similar levels of total activity, duration of α, and percent activity occurring during the subjective night. The phase response curve (PRC) is typical of other nocturnal rodents, with light eliciting delays during late subjective day and early subjective night (CT8–CT19) and advances during late subjective night to early subjective day (CT19–CT2). A dead zone, when light had no effect on phase, is observed during mid-subjective day (CT3–CT8). A few individuals showed large (>9?h) Type 0 phase resetting near the singularity region (CT19) that resulted in a complete phase reversal, but otherwise displayed normal phase-shifting responses at other CT times. The τ response curve showed a decrease in period from early to late subjective night with increases at other times, but these changes were small (maximum <9?min) and highly variable. There was a distinct tendency for animals that had an initial short τ in DD to conserve a short τ during the series of light pulses and, inversely, for animals with long τ to conserve a long τ. We have recently demonstrated that the outcome of repeated social defeat (SD) on behavior, physiology and immunology is more negative when applied during the dark/active phase as compared with the light/inactive phase of male C57BL/6 mice. Here, we investigated the effects of the same stress paradigm, which combines a psychosocial and novelty stressor, on the circadian clock in transgenic PERIOD2::LUCIFERASE (PER2::LUC) and wildtype (WT) mice by subjecting them to repeated SD, either in the early light phase (social defeat light?=?SDL) or in the early dark phase (social defeat dark?=?SDD) across 19 days. The PER2::LUC rhythms and clock gene mRNA expression were analyzed in the suprachiasmatic nucleus (SCN) and the adrenal gland, and PER2 protein expression in the SCN was assessed. SDD mice showed increased PER2::LUC rhythm amplitude in the SCN, reduced Per2 and Cryptochrome1 mRNA expression in the adrenal gland, and increased PER2 protein expression in the posterior part of the SCN compared with single-housed control (SHC) and SDL mice. In contrast, PER2::LUC rhythms in the SCN of SDL mice were not affected. However, SDL mice exhibited a 2-hour phase advance of the PER2::LUC rhythm in the adrenal gland compared to SHC mice. Furthermore, plasma levels of brain-derived neurotrophic factor (BDNF) and BDNF mRNA in the SCN were elevated in SDL mice. Taken together, these results show that the SCN molecular rhythmicity is affected by repeated SDD, but not SDL, while the adrenal peripheral clock is influenced mainly by SDL. The observed increase in BDNF in the SDL group may act to protect against the negative consequences of repeated psychosocial stress.  相似文献
