中华绒螯蟹血淋巴渗透压随不同的生长阶段而异;不论是在淡水中,还是在不同盐浓度的海水中,都具有保持血淋巴高渗调节控制的能力。青春期前,6—9月份,血淋巴渗透压自390mOsm/Kg H_2O升至560mOsm/Kg H_2O;青春期后,9—12月份,自555mOsm/Kg H_2O升至656mOsm/Kg H_2O,但12月到翌年3月份却明显下降。雌蟹从淡水移入海水后的血淋巴渗透压调升速度,青春期后是青春期前的三倍左右。  相似文献

Rhoicosphenia Grun. has been placed by some authors in the monoraphid group with Achnanthes Bory and Cocconeis Ehrenb., and by others near Gomphonema Ehrenb. In order to clarify the systematic position of the genus, the morphology and anatomy of the vegetative cells of Rh. curvata (Kütz.) Grun. were investigated using light and electron microscopy. The structure and formation of the two types of valve are described, and the heterovalvy shown to be of a different type from that of the monoraphids; on the basis of raphe, valve and girdle structure a close relationship between these and Rhoicosphenia is unlikely. Rhoicosphenia shows many resemblances to Gomphonema but the types of pore occlusion present, coupled with apparently slight differences in the mucilage-secreting structures and the girdle, suggest that classification in the same family is unwise. The cryptic asymmetry of the valves, and in particular of the raphe system, is noted and explained with reference to their formation; with respect to this asymmetry two configurations of the valves can occur (named cis and trans types) and the distribution of these in raphid genera is discussed briefly. In view of the lack of evidence in raphid diatoms supporting a classification of bands into copulae and pleurae, it is recommended that this practice be suspended.  相似文献

: Guanidino compounds in the cobalt-induced epileptogenic cerebral cortex of cats were fluorometrically analysed by a JASCO G-520 guanidino compounds analyser, and an unknown high peak was observed in the chromatogram that was identical to the peak of authentic α-guanidinoglutaric acid. In another experiment, the substance was extracted from the cobalt focus tissue, converted into dimethylpyrimidyl derivative-butylester, and analysed by a GC/MS technique. The mass spectrum of the substance was identical to the dimethylpyrimidyl derivative of α-guanidinoglutaric acid butylester (M+= 365).  相似文献

: Reversal of direction (turnaround) of axonal transport of particle specific enzyme activities was studied at a ligature placed on rat sciatic nerve. In the principal experiment, the ligature remained on the nerve in vivo several hours, allowing enzyme activities (acetylcholinesterase, acid phosphatase, and monoamine oxidase) to accumulate immediately proximal to the tie. The nerve was then tied a second time, proximal to the first tie, and incubated in vitro for several more hours. Accumulation of enzyme activities just distal to the second tie was measured. This second accumulation, of activities traveling in the retrograde direction, was shown to be the result of turnaround in several ways. (1) The increase in activity distal to the second tie was equal to the decrease in activity proximal to the first. (2) The increase in enzyme activities distal to the second tie was greatly reduced when the accumulation proximal to the first tie was trapped by placing a third tie between the first and second ties. (3) It was shown that the activity that accumulated distal to the second tie could not have been in retrograde motion at the time of the first tie. (4) Accumulation distal to the second tie was not a function of the length of nerve segment included between the two ties. In contrast to the consistent occurrence of turnaround of orthograde flow, turnaround of retrograde flow could not be demonstrated. Turnaround transport was blocked by incubation in the cold and in the presence of NaCN or vinblastine. The turnaround process operated on all three enzymes studied, suggesting that it operates on lysosomes and mitochondria, as well as on the endoplasmic reticulum-like material bearing acetylcholinesterase. Evidence for the participation of the transport process in the renewal of AChE in the distal portions of the axon was obtained in experiments using diisopropylphosphorofluoridate and cycloheximide.  相似文献

Highly purified rat brain myelin isolated by two different procedures showed appreciable activity for CDP-ethanolamine: 1,2-diacyl-sn-glycerol ethanolaminephosphotransferase (EC 2.7.8.1). Specific activity was close to that of total homogenate and approximately 12-16% that of brain microsomes. Three other lipid-synthesizing enzymes, cerebroside sulfotransferase, lactosylceramide sialyltransferase, and serine phospholipid exchange enzyme, were found to have less than 0.5% the specific activity in myelin compared with microsomes. Washing the myelin with buffered salt or taurocholate did not remove the phosphotransferase, but activity was lost from both myelin and microsomes by treatment with Triton X-100. It resembled the microsomal enzyme in having a pH optimum of 8.5 and a requirement for Mn2+ and detergent, but differed in showing no enhancement with EGTA. The diolein Km was similar for the two membranes (2.5-4 x 10(-4) M), but the CDP-ethanolamine Km was lower for myelin (3-4 x 10(-5) M) than for microsomes (11 - 13 x 10(-5 M). Evidence is reviewed that this enzyme is able to utilize substrate from the axon in situ.  相似文献

Endogeneous levels of zinc and copper were found to be 1.2±0.1×10−2 and 0.3±0.1×10−2 μg/A260 unit, respectively, in polysomal fractions from control animals; cadmium, however, was undetectable. In experimental animals (injected with cadmium) zinc, copper, and cadmium were found in polysomal fractions isolated by two different methods. One hour after a cadmium injection there was a rise in both the zinc and copper content of the polysomal fractions, which then declined steadily to below control levels by 16 h. Neither zinc nor cadmium were dialyzable from these fractions by a TRIS buffer; however, addition of 0.01M EDTA to the buffer resulted in removal of 75% of the zinc and all of the detectable cadmium. The addition of cadmium (CdCl2) to control supernatants (adjusted to the cadmium concentration present in supernatants 6 h after in vivo exposure) resulted in metal binding to polysomal fractions in levels comparable to those observed after in vivo exposures to the metal. When cadmium was added in the form of cadmium thionein, a smaller fraction of the metal was isolated with the polysomal fraction. Cadmium bound to polysomal fractions in vivo (24 h after exposure) was sensitive to release by protease digestion, but insensitive to release by ribonuclease digestion.  相似文献

Synopsis.
The ability of carotenoids to protect a heterotrophic dinoflagellate, Crypthecodinium cohnii , from photodynamic damage by sunlight in the presence of an exogenous dye was demonstrated. Wild-type C. cohnii and 2 carotcnoid-deficient mutants were plated on agar-solidified media and exposed to natural sunlight. The wild-type strain, which synthesizes γ–carotene and β–carotene, had the lowest mortality. Mutant car 17 which accumulates mainly §–carotene had an intermediate mortality rate while the albino mutant, car 3, which contains only phytoene, lost viability most rapidly. Wild-type cells treated with diphenylaminc, a carotenogenic inhibitor, were killed at the same rate as mutant car 3. The survival rate of mutants on exposure to sunlight was dependent upon the chromophore length of the accumulated carotenoids. The 3 strains showed no difference in rate of mortality when exposed to ultraviolet light. Protection from sunlight by accumulation of carotenes may be an important ecological factor for this species whose natural habitat is tidepools.  相似文献

A scanning electron microscope (SEM) study of Hypotrichomonas acosta (Moskowitz), Trichomonas vaginalis Donné. Pentatrichomonas hominis (Davaine), and Tritrichomonas foetus (Riedmüller) provided new information about the structure of the periflagellar canal: emergence of the flagella from the cell body; structure of the undulating membrane; and position, shape, and size of the pelta. Of special interest were the spatial relationships of the attached part of the recurrent flagellum and the accessory filament in Hypotrichomonas and in the members of Trichomonadinae, i.e. Trichomonas and Pentatrichomonas.  相似文献

SYNOPSIS.
Under the growth conditions employed, the G1 macronucleus of Tetrahymena pyriformis HSM contains 7.4 × 10-12 g DNA, the G2 micronucleus 0.42 × 10-12 g. DNA content from the Tetrahymena thermophila macronucleus did not significantly differ from that of HSM, but the micronucleus contained about twice as much DNA as the micronucleus of the HSM cells. The T. thermophila macronucleus contained on average enough DNA for ˜ 35 haploid micronuclear copies. A new spreading technic allowed separation of macronuclear substructures from cells of late G2 to early G1. Photometric determination of DNA content of 345 individual structures suggested the existence of 5 different-sized macronuclear structures with a DNA content corresponding to 2, 4, 8, and 16 × the basic values. Comparison of the DNA content of these structures with (a) mitotic micronuclear chromosomes and (b) meiotic micronuclear chromosomes of T. thermophila cells suggests that the 5 basic values of macronuclear structures derive from structures of micronuclear chromosomes. The micronuclear chromosomes of T. pyriformis may be oligotenic. It is suggested that these results further our understanding of macronuclear organization.  相似文献

Une analyse des séquences morphogénétiques du CiliéTetrahymena paravorax montre que: (A) La durée de la stomatogenèse de bipartition des formes microstomes en croissance exponentielle représente 45% du temps de génération (stade 1—20%; stade 2—3%; stade 3—3%; stade 4—5%; stade 5—5%; stade 6—9%). (B) La division cytoplasmique est inégale (les proters sont plus petits que les opisthes); la différence de taille initiale entre les 2 produits de fission est probablement compensée par une prolongation de la période de croissance chez le proter. (C) Le pourcentage maximum de réorganisation buccale microstome → macrostome pour les populations asynchrones atteint –? 70% au bout de 210 mn d'incubation dans la stomatine. (D) L'initiation de la stomatogenèse de remplacement oral est connectée avec la fin d'une période dont la durée minimale est approximativement celle du stade 0 du cycle normal d'interdivision des microstomes; cette initiation est retardée chez les microstomes exposés à la stomatine dès le début du cycle cellulaire. (E) Le primordium buccal de division peut se résorber en présence de stomatine et la stomatogenèse antérieure peut commencer avant que ne soit terminée cette résorption; la résorption n'est plus induite au-delà d'un point du stade 5 qui précède le début de la constriction du corps cellulaire. SYNOPSIS. An analysis of the morphogenetic sequences in the ciliate Tetrahymena paravorax has shown that: (A) The duration of predivision stomatogenesis in exponentially growing microstomes occupies 45% of the generation time (stage 1—20%; stage 2—3%; stage 3—3%; stage 4—5%; stage 5—5%; stage 6—9%). (B) Cytoplasmic division is unequal (the proters are smaller than opisthes); the initial size difference between the 2 fission products is presumably compensated by an increased growth period in the proter. (C) The maximum percentage of microstome-to-macrostome oral reorganization is –? 70% in asynchronous populations, 210 min after suspension in stomatin. (D) Initiation of oral replacement stomatogenesis is associated with the end of a period which has a minimum duration nearly equal to that of stage 0 characteristic of the normal inter-division cycle of the microstomes; this initiation is delayed if exposure of microstomes to stomatin is begun at the onset of the cell cycle. (E) The buccal primordium formed in division can be resorbed in presence of stomatin and anterior stomatogenesis can start before the resorption is completed: this resorption is not induced if the cells have progressed beyond a point which precedes the beginning of the cell furrowing (stage 5).  相似文献
