在对辽河三角洲滨海湿地进行景观规划"预案”设计以及相应的生境分析基础上,运用景观生态决策与评价支持系统(LEDESS-model)对指示物种丹顶鹤和黑嘴鸥繁殖生境的生态承载力进行了空间模拟和定量分析,结果表明在大规模农业开发的背景下,预案A通过湿地调整及生境补偿措施,不仅可以维持湿地生境面积"无净损失”(No-net-loss),而且可以相当程度地提高指示物种繁殖生境的生态承载力;预案B通过一系列减轻生境破碎化影响的生境管理措施,也显著地提高了丹顶鹤繁殖生境的生态承载力,但对黑嘴鸥繁殖生境的生态承载力的改善不如前者显著;预案C的模拟结果说明采取"滚动”开发模式,可以有效减轻区域农业开发对物种生境的负面影响,在本研究限定的开发规模下(8000hm2),对指示物种丹顶鹤、黑嘴鸥繁殖生境的生态承载力没有明显影响.  相似文献

The Chinese sturgeon, Acipenser sinensis, is an anadromous protected species that presently only spawns in the Yangtze River. Using laboratory experiments, we examined the behavioral preference of young Chinese sturgeon to physical habitat (water depth, illumination intensity, substrate color, and cover) and monitored their downstream migration. Hatchling free embryos were photopositive, preferred open habitat, and immediately upon hatching, swam far above the bottom using swim-up and drift. Downstream migration peaked on days 0–1, decreased about 50% or more during days 2–7, and ceased by day 8. Days 0–1 migrants were active both day and night, but days 2–7 migrants were most active during the day. After ceasing migration, days 8–11 embryos were photonegative, preferred dark substrate and sought cover. Free embryos developed into larvae and began feeding on day 12, when another shift in behavior occurred–larvae returned to photopositive behavior and preferred white substrate. The selective factor favoring migration of free embryos upon hatching and swimming far above the bottom may be avoidance of benthic predatory fishes. Free embryos, which must rely on yolk energy for activity and growth, only used 19 cumulative temperature degree-days for peak migration compared to 234 degree-days for growth to first feeding larvae, a 1:12 ratio of cumulative temperature units. This ratio suggests that sturgeon species with large migratory embryos, like Chinese sturgeon, which require a high level of energy to swim during migration, may migrate only a short time to conserve most yolk energy for growth.  相似文献

The ecosystem function for water retention in a watershed of the Yangtze River was discussed in this study. The watershed was divided into 90 types of vegetation–soil–slope complex. A GIS-embodied spatial database was used to explore the relationships between the capacity of water retention by a complex and its types of vegetation, soil and slope. Furthermore, the capacity of water retention of every complex was estimated statistically by using estimation models. The spatial distribution of various capacity of water retention in the watershed was demarcated on a map based on the attributions and the locations of complexes. In addition, we evaluated integrally the situation of water retention in the watershed based on the estimation for the complexes from which it was distinctly recognized that the serious situation mainly results from the poor capacity of water retention of vegetation. The variation-location effect describes the phenomenon in which an identical variation of a factor may produce different effects on overall situation, when this variation occurs in a different spatial location. According to the variation-location effect on the expansion of forestland, a strategy 'spatial pattern-based forestland extension was proposed to conserve forest ecosystem and improve the situation of water retention in the watershed.  相似文献

The freshwater trout minnow, Galaxias truttaceus, is restricted to the small catchments of the Goodga and Kalgan Rivers in Western Australia. Its large geographic separation from populations in south-eastern Australia, and subsequent reproductive isolation and variation in the prevailing environmental conditions, has created marked differences in biology (and morphology) between the eastern and western populations of G. truttaceus. The biology (spawning period, longevity, growth rates, diet and parasitism) of G. truttaceus in the Goodga River is described and then compared with information on the biology of diadromous and landlocked populations in south-eastern Australia (i.e. Tasmania) (see Humphries 1989). In the Goodga River, ca. 34 and 8% of males and females, respectively, attain maturity at the end of their first year, while only four mature males and one mature female 0+ fish were found in the Tasmanian populations. Adults migrate upstream prior to spawning which peaks during April and May. Larvae, which hatch at ca. 6.5mm (cf. 7.5–9.0mm in Tasmania), move downstream into Moates Lake for a few months before re-entering the river. Of the 810 G. truttaceus collected, ca. 53, 34, 10, 2, 1, 0.2 and 0.1% belonged to the 0+, 1+, 2+, 3+, 4+, 5+ and 7+ age classes, respectively. In contrast, the Tasmanian populations have a much higher proportion of older fish. At the end of their first, second and third years, the males on average attain 60, 84 and 95mm total length (TL), respectively, whereas females attain 63, 89 and 103mm TL, respectively at those ages. Only one fish > 140mm TL was captured, which contrasts with the Tasmanian fish, where a substantial proportion are > 140mm TL. The diet of fish > 40mm TL consisted of between 65 and 96% terrestrial fauna (mainly coleopterans and hymenopterans) in the different seasons. Larval fish diets were largely comprised of copepods.The occurrence of the introduced cestode Ligula intestinalis in ca. 7% of G. truttaceus represents the first record of this parasite in Western Australia. It was found to cause gonadal retardation and gross morphological deformities, the latter of which possibly increases the risk of avian predation.  相似文献

How Texas wild rice, Zizania texana, became isolated in the San Marcos River of Central Texas, hundreds of kilometres from other wild rice populations is not known. Zizania seeds are intolerant of short-term desiccation. Seeds desiccated at 14% relative humidity (RH) and 75% RH do not survive after only 5-6 d and 2-3 wk of drying. Water loss is rapid and reaches a maximum at the time of seed death due to drying. And although all Zizania seeds germinate well following a long, cold dormancy period, Z. texana seeds readily germinate in the isothermic water (22°C) of the San Marcos River and Springs without an obligate, cold dormant period. Within 30-60 d of collection, Z. texana seeds germinate in substantial numbers, unlike seeds of Z. palustris, which require a long, cold dormant period. The Texas population of Z. texana may represent a relict population of a once more widely dispersed wild rice population, since the San Marcos springs probably have never gone dry.  相似文献

Aerobic and anaerobic cultivation techniques, 16S rDNA-based phylogeny, and fluorescent in situ hybridization were used to describe the phylogenetic diversity and physiological versatility of lotic microbial aggregates ('river snow') obtained from the river Elbe. In the course of the year the 'river snow' community changed. It was characterized by a great bacterial diversity in spring, the predominant occurrence of algae in summer and reduction of the total bacterial cell count in autumn and winter. In all 'river snow' samples, more than 70% of the bacteria counted with the general DNA stain DAPI also hybridized with the Bacteria-specific probe EUB338. In situ analysis of the bacterial 'river snow' community with a comprehensive suite of specific rRNA-targeted probes revealed population dynamics to be governed by seasonal factors. During all seasons, beta-Proteobacteria constituted the numerically most important bacterial group forming up to 54% of the total cell counts. In contrast to this, the relative abundance of other major bacterial lineages ranged from 2% for the order Planctomycetales to 36% for Cytophaga-Flavobacteria. Cultivation of 'river snow' under aerobic and anaerobic conditions with a variety of different media resulted in the isolation of 40 new bacterial strains. Phenotypic and phylogenetic analyses revealed these new strains to be mostly unknown organisms affiliated to different bacterial phyla. Application of newly developed specific oligonucleotide probes proved the cultivated bacteria, including clostridia and the numerically abundant beta-Proteobacteria, as relevant in situ members of the 'river snow' community.  相似文献

用硅藻计于1990年采集珠江广州河段的9个采样点的附着硅藻群落.共得硅藻24个属,170个分类单位,其中,适腐性种8个,广腐性种84个,仍腐性种78个.群落相似性聚类分析表明,位于前、后航道中部的员村(st3),新造(st8),沙浴村(si10)三点的硅藻群落结构是为相似,向上,下游相似性逐渐减小.用硅藻群集指数(DAIpo)和河流污染指数(RPId)对各采样断面的水质进行分析表明:大盛(st12)和莲花山(st5)两点受污染最轻,属β-寡污带,黄沙点(st2)污染最严重,属α-中污带.对照点鸦岗(St1)也受到一定的污染,属α-寡污带,其它点的污染程度在α-寡污带与β-中污带之间.DAIpo值与BODS存在着显著的负相关(r=0.86).珠江广州河段的前、后航道的污染程度相差不大(RPId=56.42,56.26),均属中度污染.  相似文献

Abstract. A phenological map has been prepared for the Podyjí/Thayatal National Park, located on the border between the Czech Republic and Austria. The area is characterized by V-shaped river valleys deeply incised into a gently undulating landscape. Five stages of phenological development were defined, based upon phenological spectra of plant communities in late April; 96 sites, more or less regularly spaced over the area, were assigned to one of these stages using field observations of these spectra. Potential direct solar irradiation was calculated from a digital elevation model for a 25 m x 25 m grid extending over the study area. A method was developed for interpolation of phenological observations by weighted regression of phenology on the irradiation model. This interpolation enables the prediction of the local stage of phenological development across the study area without levelling out phenological patterns dependent upon small-scale topographic variation. Spring phenological events appear to be more advanced in the valleys (except for steep north-facing slopes) than in the adjacent landscape. Possible climatic processes underlying this pattern are discussed with emphasis on temperature inversions in the river valleys. Cold-air-drainage inversions reported from the valleys are probably too infrequent and of too short duration to delay plant phenology. The combined effects of advanced phenology and the increased risk of spring frost injury due to these inversions in the valleys may be an explanation for local distributional patterns of flora and vegetation.  相似文献

应用双向指示种分析和除趋势对应分析对阿尔泰山两河源国家级自然保护区的朽木生地衣群落进行了数量分类。初步结果表明,该自然保护区朽木生地衣共有43种,隶属于5目、14科、20属,它们组成了以下4个地衣群落。群落(Ⅰ):分布在样点1、2、3、4、5中,包括15种地衣种类,命名为对开蜈蚣衣+半羽蜈蚣衣+红心黑蜈蚣衣群落。群落(Ⅱ):分布在样点6、7、8、9、11中,包括25种地衣,命名为尖头石蕊+粉石蕊+矮石蕊群落。群落(Ⅲ):由样点10、12、13、14、16组成,常见的地衣种类有19个种,命名为蜡黄橙衣+茎口果粉衣+冷杉粉衣群落。群落(Ⅳ):包括样点15、17、18、19和20,由22个地衣种组成。命名为疑小梅衣+同色黄烛衣+脱落网衣群落。群落Ⅰ和群落Ⅱ的相似性最高为0.723,其次为群落Ⅰ和群落Ⅲ为0.609,群落Ⅲ和群落Ⅳ之间的相似性最低为0.262。群落Ⅲ的多样性最大为1.954;其次为群落Ⅱ和群落Ⅰ,分别为1.742和我1.685,群落Ⅳ的多样性最低为0.543。各群落的相似性和多样性之间的差异与其所处环境和朽木树种的多样性有关。同时发现在研究地区的朽木生地衣群落的分布与海拔高度、朽木腐蚀程度、朽木大小、森林郁闭度等因子具有密切的关系。  相似文献

Quantifying and classifying ichthyoplankton is one of the most effective ways of monitoring the recruitment process in fishes. However, correctly identifying the fish based on morphological characters is extremely difficult, especially in the early stages of development. We examined ichthyoplankton from tributaries and reservoirs along the middle stretch of the Paranapanema River, one of the areas most impacted by hydroelectric projects in the Neotropics. Matching DNA sequences of the COI gene (628–648 bp) allowed us to identify 99.25% of 536 samples of eggs (293) and larvae (243) subjected to BOLD‐IDS similarity analysis with a species‐level threshold of 1.3%. The results revealed 37 species in 27 genera, 15 families and four orders, some 23.8% of documented fish species in the Paranapanema River. Molecular identification meant that we could include data from egg samples that accounted for about 30% of the species richness observed. The results in this study confirm the efficacy of DNA barcoding in identifying Neotropical ichthyoplankton and show how the data produced provide valuable information for preparing plans for conserving and managing inland waters.  相似文献
