The genus Agaricus was recently rearranged to accommodate numerous tropical taxa. Accordingly, the genus was split into six subgenera and 22 sections of which 12 are included in A. subg. Pseudochitonia. Preliminary data indicated that three putative new species belong to this subgenus. Our objectives were to describe these species, to determine to which sections they belong, and to experience the interest of some traditional traits in this new context. We morphologically described Agaricus coniferarum from France and Portugal, Agaricus iranicus from Iran, and Agaricus lusitanicus from Portugal. Multi-gene phylogenetic analyses based on ITS, LSU, and tef1 sequence data of representatives of the 12 sections clearly indicated that A. coniferarum and A. lusitanicus are placed in Agaricus sect. Bohusia, while A. iranicus is in A. sect. Sanguinolenti. Incidentally, we replaced the illegitimate name Agaricus magnivelaris by Agaricus fiardianus. In a phylogenetic tree, based on all available ITS sequence data and focussing on six related sections, we examined the phylogenetic distribution of various characters. The intensity of red discolouration when the sporocarp is rubbed or cut appeared as a phylogenetically weak informative trait. We propose a determination key leading to a group of three hardly distinguishable sections (Bohusia, Nigrobrunnescentes, and Sanguinolenti). 相似文献

Two putative novel Burkholderia cenocepacia lineages found in the semi-arid region of north-east Brazil causing onion sour skin were studied using genomic approaches to determine their taxonomic position. Four strains belonging to one novel lineage (CCRMBC16, CCRMBC33, CCRMBC74, and CCRMBC171) and one strain (CCRMBC51) belonging to another novel lineage had their whole genome sequenced to carry out taxogenomic analyses. The phylogenomic tree built using the type (strain) genome server (TYGS) clustered the strains CCRMBC16, CCRMBC33, CCRMBC74, and CCRMBC171 into the same clade, while grouped the strain CCRMBC51 separately. Average nucleotide identity (ANI) and digital DNA-DNA hybridization (dDDH) analysis showed values above 99.21 % and 93.2 %, respectively, among the strains CCRMBC16, CCRMBC33, CCRMBC74, and CCRMBC171, while ANI and dDDH values between these strains and the strain CCRMBC51 were below 94.49 % and 56.6 %, respectively. All these strains showed ANI and dDDH values below 94.78 % and 58.8 % concerning type strains of the B. cepacia complex (Bcc) species. The phylogenetic maximum likelihood tree constructed based on the multilocus sequence analysis of core genes (cMLSA) clustered the strains CCRMBC16, CCRMBC33, CCRMBC74, and CCRMBC171 and the strain CCRMBC51 in two exclusive clades, which did not cluster with any known species of the Bcc. Therefore, combined data from TYGS, ANI, dDDH, and cMLSA demonstrated that the strains represent two novel species of the Bcc, which we classified as Burkholderia semiarida sp. nov. and Burkholderia sola sp. nov., and proposed the strains CCRMBC74T (=IBSBF 3371 T = CBAS 905 T) and CCRMBC51T (=IBSBF3370T = CBAS 904 T) as type strains, respectively. 相似文献

Two novel species of bambusicolous fungi in the genus Kamalomyces, collected from northern Thailand, are described and illustrated herein. Kamalomyces bambusicola and K. thailandicus spp. nov. are typical of the genus Kamalomyces (Tubeufiaceae, Tubeufiales) and are morphologically distinct from known species with respect to their size of ascomata, asci and ascospores, ascospore septation and peridium structure, including the subiculum comprising hyphae on the host surface. Morphological examination reveals that the asexual morph of K. bambusicola is associated with its sexual morph in a subiculum forming dictyochlamydosporous conidia, which are similar to the asexual morph of Chlamydotubeufia. Phylogenetic analyses of combined LSU, ITS and TEF1-α sequence data also support these two species as distinct and confirm their phylogenetic affinities within the Tubeufiaceae. In particular, Kamalomyces shares a close phylogenetic relationship to Helicoma. 相似文献

Two novel species of Diatrypaceae, Diatrypella tectonae and Peroneutypa mackenziei, were collected from dead wood in northern Thailand. The new species are introduced in this paper, with evidence from morphology and phylogenetic analyses. The new taxa are described, illustrated and compared with related taxa. Phylogenetic analyses of combined ITS and partial β-tubulin (β-tub) sequence data support their natural placements in the genera Diatrypella and Peroneutypa as new species. 相似文献
