Erromyzon damingshanensis, a new sucker loach is described from the Pearl River drainage in Guangxi, China. The new species Erromyzon damingshanensis is distinguished from the other species of the genus in having a crescentic median lobe of the rostral fold, rostral barbels shorter than rostral fold; postlabial groove broadly interrupted medially, seven branched dorsal fin rays, 16 branched pectoral fin rays, lateral line scales 88–95, caudal peduncle depth larger than its length; body with 12 irregular bars on flank, interrupted on dorsum. 相似文献

生物量是反映生物发酵过程进展的重要参数,对生物量进行实时监测可用于对发酵过程的调控优化。为克服目前主要采用的离线方法检测生物量时间滞后和人工测量误差较大等缺点,本研究针对1,3-丙二醇发酵过程设计了一个基于傅里叶变换近红外光谱实时分析技术的生物量在线监测实验平台,通过对实时采集光谱预处理以及敏感光谱段分析,应用偏最小二乘算法,建立了1,3-丙二醇发酵过程生物量变化的动态预测模型。以底物甘油浓度为60 g/L和40 g/L的发酵过程作为外部验证实验,分析得到模型的预测均方根误差分别为0.341 6和0.274 3,结果表明所建立的模型具有较好的实时预测能力,能够实现对1,3-丙二醇发酵过程中生物量的有效在线监测。 相似文献

Iron (Fe)‐homeostasis in the plastids is closely associated with Fe transport proteins that prevent Fe from occurring in its toxic free ionic forms. However, the number of known protein families related to Fe transport in the plastids (about five) and the function of iron in non‐green plastids is limited. In the present study, we report the functional characterization of Zea mays Fe deficiency‐related 4 (ZmFDR4), which was isolated from a differentially expressed clone of a cDNA library of Fe deficiency‐induced maize roots. ZmFDR4 is homologous to the bacterial FliP superfamily, coexisted in both algae and terrestrial plants, and capable of restoring the normal growth of the yeast mutant fet3fet4, which possesses defective Fe uptake systems. ZmFDR4 mRNA is ubiquitous in maize and is inducible by iron deficiency in wheat. Transient expression of the 35S:ZmFDR4–eGFP fusion protein in rice protoplasts indicated that ZmFDR4 maybe localizes to the plastids envelope and thylakoid. In 35S:c‐Myc‐ZmFDR4 transgenic tobacco, immunohistochemistry and immunoblotting confirmed that ZmFDR4 is targeted to both the chloroplast envelope and thylakoid. Meanwhile, ultrastructure analysis indicates that ZmFDR4 promotes the density of plastids and accumulation of starch grains. Moreover, Bathophenanthroline disulfonate (BPDS) colorimetry and inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry (ICP‐MS) indicate that ZmFDR4 is related to Fe uptake by plastids and increases seed Fe content. Finally, 35S:c‐Myc‐ZmFDR4 transgenic tobacco show enhanced photosynthetic efficiency. Therefore, the results of the present study demonstrate that ZmFDR4 functions as an iron transporter in monocot plastids and provide insight into the process of Fe uptake by plastids. 相似文献

Diabetic nephropathy (DN) is the most common and serious complication in diabetes mellitus, but the efficacy of available strategies for preventing this disorder remains poor. The aim of this study was to investigate the possible beneficial effects of 1-acetyl-5-phenyl-1H-pyrrol-3-ylacetate (APPA), an aldose reductase inhibitor, on DN. In the present study, a model of rat glomerular mesangial cells (HBZY-1) damaged by high glucose was used to confirm the protective effects of APPA in vitro. Then, a rat model of streptozotocin-induced diabetes was used to assess the effects of APPA in vivo. APPA increased viability and reduced apoptosis in HBZY-1 cells. In vivo, APPA improved the signs of DN as determined by measurements of blood glucose, urinary microalbumin, serum total antioxidant capacity, serum catalase activity, serum glutathione levels, and serum total superoxide dismutase activity. Hematoxylin and eosin staining of kidney tissue confirmed the protective effect. Moreover, APPA reduced the levels of transforming growth factor-β1, collagen IV, and laminin in HBZY-1cells incubated in high glucose, and in serum in DN rats. In summary, APPA can effectively prevent apoptosis and the symptoms of streptozotocin-induced diabetes by inhibiting the polyol pathway in rats. Irisin was first identified in skeletal muscle cells. It is an exercise protein that is secreted into the circulation; it causes conversion of white adipose tissue to brown adipose tissue. We investigated irisin immunoreactivity in mole rat (Spalax leucodon) tissues. We examined cerebellum, pituitary, heart, liver, pancreas, spleen, uterus, kidney and striated muscle in female adult mole rats. Tissues were processed, embedded in paraffin, sectioned at 5 μm and stained immunohistochemically for irisin. Irisin immunostaining was detected in the cytoplasm of stained cells; the cytoplasm of Purkinje cells was unstained. We found that irisin may be synthesized in many tissues. The function of locally synthesized irisin currently is unknown. 相似文献

根据2009年秋~2010年夏每季采样调查,分析和研究了浙江省宁波港海区浮游动物种类组成和数量分布的四季变化特征。结果表明: 经鉴定浮游动物共有70种,隶属3门35属。其中桡足类的种类最多,占总种数的73.54%; 优势种主要有中华异水蚤、矩形龟甲轮虫、伪长腹剑水蚤、挪威小星猛水蚤、小星猛水蚤属、驼背隆哲水蚤、短角长腹剑水蚤等。浮游动物群体丰度呈现出夏季>秋季>春季>冬季的现象,四季平均丰度分别为2.50×103 ind/m3、40.16×103 ind/m3、3.72×103 ind/m3、1.20×103 ind /m3。生物量呈现出夏季>春季>秋季>冬季的现象,四季平均生物量分别为88.94 mg/m3、931.22 mg/m3、58.74 mg/m3、24.49 mg/m3。与历史资料以及邻近海域比较发现,浮游动物丰度和生物量小于或接近于东海各海域。生物多样性分析显示,夏季与春秋冬三季生物多样性(H')有显著性差异(P<0.05),夏季具有较高的生物多样性,Shannon-Wiener多样性指数(H')、种类丰富度(D)、Pielou均匀度指数(J)、最大多样性指数(H'max)基本呈现出夏季>春季>秋季>冬季。与邻近海域相比,多样性指数(H')、种类丰富度(D)、最大多样性指数(H'max)呈下降趋势。 相似文献
