Besides the open circuit voltage (VOC) deficit, fill factor (FF) is the second most significant parameter deficit for earth‐abundant kesterite solar cell technology. Here, various pathways for FF loss are discussed, with focus on the series resistance issue and its various contributing factors. Electrical and physical characterizations of the full range of bandgap (Eg = 1.0–1.5 eV) Cu2ZnSn(SxSe1?x)4 (CZTSSe) devices, as well as bare and exfoliated films with various S/(S + Se) ratios, are performed. High intensity Suns‐VOC measurement indicates a nonohmic junction developing in high bandgap CZTSSe. Grazing incidence X‐ray diffraction, Raman mapping, field emission scanning electron microscopy, and X‐ray photoelectron spectroscopy indicate the formation of Sn(S,Se)2, Mo(S,Se)2, and Zn(S,Se) at the high bandgap CZTSSe/Mo interface, contributing to the increased series resistance (RS) and nonohmic back contact characteristics. This study offers some clues as to why the record‐CZTSSe solar cells occur within a bandgap range centered around 1.15 eV and offers some direction for further optimization. 相似文献

With power conversion efficiencies now exceeding 25%, hybrid perovskite solar cells require deeper understanding of defects and processing to further approach the Shockley‐Queisser limit. One approach for processing enhancement and defect reduction involves additive engineering—, e.g., addition of MASCN (MA = methylammonium) and excess PbI2 have been shown to modify film grain structure and improve performance. However, the underlying impact of these additives on transport and recombination properties remains to be fully elucidated. In this study, a newly developed carrier‐resolved photo‐Hall (CRPH) characterization technique is used that gives access to both majority and minority carrier properties within the same sample and over a wide range of illumination conditions. CRPH measurements on n‐type MAPbI3 films reveal an order of magnitude increase in carrier recombination lifetime and electron density for 5% excess PbI2 added to the precursor solution, with little change noted in electron and hole mobility values. Grain size variation (120–2100 nm) and MASCN addition induce no significant change in carrier‐related parameters considered, highlighting the benign nature of the grain boundaries and that excess PbI2 must predominantly passivate bulk defects rather than defects situated at grain boundaries. This study offers a unique picture of additive impact on MAPbI3 optoelectronic properties as elucidated by the new CRPH approach. 相似文献

Two Tetrahymena kinesin-like proteins (klps) of the kinesin II subfamily, Kin1 and Kin2, were first identified by Brown et al. [1999: Mol Biol Cell 10: 3081-3096] and shown to be involved in ciliary morphogenesis probably as molecular motors in intraciliary transport (ICT). Using Tetrahymena genomic DNA as a template, we cloned Kin5, another kinesin II subfamily member. Kin5 is upregulated upon deciliation, suggesting that Kin5 is a ciliary protein. Kin5 is most closely related to Osm3, a Caenorhabditis elegans kinesin II; Osm3 and Kin5 have a 56% identity, which rises to 60.4% in the motor domain and a 45% identity in a 60 amino acid region of the C-terminal FERM (4.1, Ezrin, Radixin, Moesin) domain, not present in Kin1 or Kin2, which we hypothesize to be a critical domain either for dimerization or for cargo recognition in ICT. An antibody to a peptide sequence from the tail region of Kin5 localizes in a punctate pattern along the ciliary axoneme, colocalizing with an antibody to the raft protein IFT139. These findings suggest that Kin5 is an ICT motor like Osm3. Osm3 orthologs apparently transport membrane proteins and Kin5 may be the homodimeric kinesin II that performs this function in Tetrahymena cilia. 相似文献

Reactive oxygen species (ROS) produced during exercise may be involved in delayed-onset muscle damage related to inflammation. To investigate this hypothesis, we studied whether oxidative stress increases nuclear translocation of nuclear factor-kappaB and chemokine expression in skeletal muscle using myotube L6 cells. We also assessed whether prolonged acute exercise could increase these parameters in rats. In L6 cells, H(2)O(2) induced nuclear translocation of p65 and increased the expression of cytokine-induced neutrophil chemoattractant-1 (CINC-1) and monocyte chemoattractant protein-1 (MCP-1), whereas preincubation with alpha-tocopherol limited the increase in these proteins. Sprague Dawley rats were divided into the following groups: rested control, exercised, rested with a high alpha-tocopherol diet, and exercised with a high alpha-tocopherol diet. After 3 weeks of acclimation, both exercise groups ran on a treadmill at 25 m/min for 60 min. Exercise increased nuclear p65, CINC-1, and MCP-1 in gastrocnemius muscle cells, but these changes were ameliorated by the high alpha-tocopherol diet. Increases in myeloperoxidase and thiobarbituric acid-reactive substrates were ameliorated by a high alpha-tocopherol diet, as were the histological changes. Neutrophil activity was not altered by either exercise or a high alpha-tocopherol diet. These results indicate that delayed-onset muscle damage induced by prolonged exercise is partly related to inflammation via phagocyte infiltration caused by ROS and that alpha-tocopherol (an antioxidant) can attenuate such inflammatory changes. 相似文献

A simple new assay was designed for lipoxygenase inhibitors. This assay was used to find the novel lipoxygenase inhibitor, tetrapetalone A (1). Tetrapetalone A (1), C26H33NO7, was isolated from Streptomyces sp. USF-4727 strain. Its planar structure was determined by spectroscopic evidence and by methylating with diazomethane to show the presence of a novel tetracyclic skeleton and a beta-D-rhodinosyl moiety. The stereochemistry of 1 was investigated by the coupling constant in the 1H-NMR spectrum, NOE correlations, modified Mosher's method and derivation. We have reported the structural elucidation of 1 in our previous paper. However, further investigation gave another structure for 1, which is described in this paper. Tetrapetalone A showed similar inhibitory activity against soybean lipoxygenase to the two well-known lipoxygenase inhibitors, kojic acid and NDGA, while methylated tetrapetalone A (2) showed little inhibitory activity, even at a concentration of 1 mM. 相似文献

Three novel lipoxygenase inhibitors, tetrapetalone B (2, C(28)H(35)NO(9)), C (3, C(26)H(34)NO(8)), and D (4, C(28)H(36)NO(10)), were isolated from a culture broth of Streptomyces sp. USF-4727 that produced a lipoxygenase inhibitor tetrapetalone A (1) simultaneously. Each chemical structure was revealed by spectroscopic evidence, this suggests that these three compounds are structurally related to 1. They had a tetracyclic skeleton and a beta-D-rhodinosyl moiety. Tetrapetalone B, C, and D inhibited soybean lipoxygenase with IC(50): 320, 360, and 340 microM respectively. 相似文献

[deamino-Cys(l),d-Arg(8)]-vasopressin (dDAVP), known to be an arginine vasopressin (AVP) V(2) receptor agonist, is an agent that increases fibrinolytic activity levels in plasma after its infusion into the human body. However, mechanisms underlying an increase and exact localization of the extrarenal dDAVP-responsive V(2) receptor remain unclarified. Two AVP receptors, V(1a) and V(2), and a related oxytocin (OT) receptor were found to be expressed in human lymphocytes. Furthermore, we found an increase of fibrinolytic activity in the medium of peripheral lymphocytes obtained from human volunteers less than 20 min after dDAVP infusion. The increased activity was also detected in the medium after incubating the lymphocytes in the presence of dDAVP in vitro, being highest at 20 min after the incubation. In accord with the increased fibrinolytic activity, the levels of urokinase-type plasminogen activator (uPA) in the medium were also increased. However, there was no significant difference of plasminogen activator inhibitor-1 (PAI-1), pro-uPA, and tissue-type plasminogen activator (tPA) concentrations in the medium between dDAVP treatment and control. When lymphocytes were preincubated with a V(2) receptor antagonist [Adamantaneacetyl(1),O-Et-d-Tyr(2),Val(4),Aminobutyryl(6),Arg(8,9)]-vasopressin, the dDAVP-induced uPA increase was diminished. In contrast, preincubation with a V(1) receptor antagonist, [beta-Mercapto-beta,beta-cyclopentamethylenepropionyl(1),O-Me-Tyr(2),Arg(8)]-vasopressin, prior to dDAVP treatment resulted in a greater increase of the uPA concentration in the medium than with the dDAVP treatment alone. Thus it was suggested that dDAVP may induce uPA release from human lymphocytes via V(2) receptor-mediated reaction, and also via cross-talk between V(1) and V(2) receptors. 相似文献
