A study was made of the frequency and duration of neurological disorders after cranio-caudal irradiation of rats with doses of 7.5-500 Gy delivered to the head. As the mean effective dose increased the neurological disorders occurred in the following order: tremor, rotatory movements hyperkinesia, opisthotonos, and convulsions. The neurophysiological disorders observed were subjected to a pathophysiological analysis.  相似文献

The data on the application of monoclonal antibodies (ICO-10) and rabbit complement for working the conditions of allogeneic bone marrow transplantation are presented in the paper. The treatment with monoclonal antibodies and bone marrow complement from BALB/c mice for 2 times prevented the development of transplant versus host reaction and completely protected lethally irradiated (CBA X X C57B1/6)FI mice-recipients from death. Thymus atrophy and the absence of T-cells in the peripheral blood was observed in these mice. The erythrocytes had markers characteristic of BALB/c and (CBA X C57B1/6)FI mice. Mouse splenocytes did not respond to the cells of donors and recipients in mixed lymphocyte culture reaction.  相似文献

Every large clade of Eukarya has its own pattern of kinetid (flagellar apparatus) structure, which is stable and specific within the group, thereby being a good phylogenetic marker. The kinetid structure of sponge choanocytes might be a candidate for such marker for the phylogeny of Porifera. Kinetids of two heteroscleromorphs, Halichondria sp. (Suberitida) and Crellomima imparidens (Poecilosclerida), have been investigated here for the first time, and a reconstruction of the kinetid for each species is provided. The kinetids of both species comprise a flagellar kinetosome with a nuclear fibrillar root, a basal foot and satellite producing microtubules; a centriole is absent. Good resolution images reveal a new thin structure, the axial granule, in the flagellar transition zone which might be present in other sponges. The comparison of kinetids in investigated sponges revealed three types of kinetid in Demospongiae, and their distribution in the taxon has been shown on a molecular phylogenetic tree. Echocardiography was used to study the parameters of cardiodynamics, systemic hemodynamics, left ventricular morphology and functioning, phase analysis of cardiac activity, and rheological blood properties in highly skilled expert swimmers. The relationship between different levels of blood circulation was established. A close correlation between the blood flow at rest and arterial pressure was found to contribute to the optimization of microvascular pressure and shear stress in accordance with body demands.  相似文献

The glycoprotein of rabies virus is the central antigen elicited the immune response to infection; therefore, the majority of developing anti-rabies vaccines are based on this protein. In order to increase the efficacy of DNA immunogen encoding rabies virus glycoprotein, the construction of chimeric protein with the CD63 domain has been proposed. The CD63 is a transmembrane protein localized on the cell surface and in lysosomes. The lysosome targeting motif GYEVM is located at its C-terminus. We used the domain that bears this motif (c-CD63) to generate chimeric glycoprotein in order to relocalize it into lysosomes. Here, it was shown that, in cells transfected with plasmid that encodes glycoprotein with c-CD63 motif at the C-terminus, the chimeric protein was predominantly observed in lysosomes and at the cell membrane where the unmodified glycoprotein is localized in the endoplasmic reticulum and at the cell surface. We suppose that current modification of the glycoprotein may improve the immunogenicity of anti-rabies DNA vaccines due to more efficient antibody production.  相似文献

Modern proteomic techniques make it possible to identify numerous changes in protein expression in tumors as compared to normal tissues. Although proteomics is currently widely used, identification of proteins differentially expressed in particular types of cancer remains a challenging task. The goal of our study was to detect novel protein markers of colorectal cancer using comparative proteomics of protein extracts obtained from primary tumors and adjacent normal tissues. Coloreetal cancer is nearly asymptomatic at the early stages, which calls for development of fast and sensitive methods for molecular diagnostics. Proteomes of 11 paired specimens of primary colorectal tumors and adjacent histologically normal tissues were studied using comparative 2D PAGE. Altogether, 16 proteins with altered expression levels were detected, including 13 proteins with increased levels and three proteins with decreased levels in tumor tissues. These proteins were identified using MALDI-TOF mass spectrometry. The proteins GPD1, RRBP1 (increased levels), HNRNPH1, and SERPINB6 (decreased levels) have been associated with colorectal cancer for the first time.  相似文献
