Characteristics of spatial-temporal relations of the frontal zones potentials with those of other brain centres were studied in five- to six-year old children during naming of visually presented objects. EEG cross correlation analysis has shown that during visual perception of familiar objects the correlations of frontal areas with the interior pariental area of the left hemisphere are enhanced; the rhythms of the inferior parietal and occipital zones in the left hemisphere precede the potentials in the frontal area, while in the right hemispere synphasic relations are set up between the frontal and occipital zones. Naming the objects by the appropriate word as compared with rest and showing of the object, leads to enhancement of both intra- and interhemispheric correlations between potentials in the frontal zone and the inferior parietal and temporal zones. The frontal lobe rhythms begin to precede the inferior parietal and occipital potentials and form synphasic relations with the temporal and motor zone potentials in the left hemisphere. 相似文献

Using electron microscopic histochemical technique, studies have been made on the activity of succinic dehydrogenase in the kidneys of the cod Gadus morrhua and dog. It was shown that chelate granules indicating localization of the enzyme in the mitochondria of nephronal cells, concentrate mainly in two zones -- between the membranes and inside the cristae. This distribution of the enzyme implies the presence of two pools of succinic dehydrogenase in the mitochondria which are utilized at different stages of oxidative phosphorylation. The influence of pH on binding of labeled stable analog of enkephalin, [3H]Tyr1, D-Ala2, D-Leu5]enkephalin, to high- and low-affinity receptors of rat brain membranes was studied. It was shown that alkali-earth metal ions combine with a deprotonated group (pKa 7,0) of the high-affinity receptor, thereby activating the latter. The effect of cations on the low-affinity enkephalin binding is independent of pH. The presence of phosphate group in the high-affinity binding site, as well as of imidazole residue in the low-affinity binding site was surmised. Antitoxin properties of monoclonal antibodies to diphtheria toxin were studied in chick fibroblast culture and during the dermonecrotic tests in guinea pigs. Antitoxic properties were shown for antibodies specific to B subunit of the toxin but not for the ones specific to a subunit. The mixture of monoclonal B subunit specific antibodies reveals a higher neutralizing activity as compared with the activity produced by any single monoclonal antibody tested. The structure of the postcapillary venules in the rat lymph nodes has been studied after a single total overheating at 43.5 degrees C. During the first three days an essential role is played by ultrastructural destructive processes, that demonstrate certain unfavourable states in cells. Nevertheless, the postcapillary venules perform their function quite satisfactory and even increase small lymphocytes transfer. The 7th-15th days are characterized with a steady compensation of the functional activity of these microvessels. By the 30th day some unfavourable changes in the endothelial ultrastructure are noted. This is, evidently, connected with a steady effect of the plasma toxic factor on the endothelium. 相似文献
