To achieve inhibition of proliferation of alloantigen-induced T-lymphocytes in mixed lymphocyte culture by specific suppressor T cells (SSTC), identity of SSTC and responder in MHC class II antigens is required; either in IC or in IA + IE. By shielding of the SSTC with antiserum to ICd product (without complement), it is demonstrated that ICd product is expressed on the SSTC surface only, rather than on the surface of both stimulator and responder cells (native or preactivated with the alloantigen). Pretreatment of SSTC with anti-ICd antibodies in the absence of complement does not prevent specific SSTC interaction with the alloantigen, but prevents the SSTC function in reversible fashion. Because part of responders preactivated with an alloantigen acquired a capacity to adhere to the syngeneic SSTC monolayer, it is supposed that a receptor to the syngeneic Ia-molecule of SSTC membrane arises on the surface of preactivated responder T cells, which results in direct interaction between these two cells, reflecting the "interactional restriction" mechanism of SSTC function. 相似文献

The effect of uroporphyrin, coproporphyrin and their cobalt-containing derivatives on the biosynthesis of vitamin B12 and development of propionibacterium shermanii was studied. The compounds under study stimulated the vitamin synthesis by growing cultures and resting suspensions of these bacteria. Cobalt porphyrins as the sole source of cobalt were used in the vitamin B12 biosynthesis. An addition of cobalt porphyrins to the growing culture of propionic bacteria increased in accumulation of their biomass. Possible mechanisms of porphyrin involvement in the biosynthesis of vitamin B12 and the specific role of cobalt porphyrins in the bacterial activity are discussed. 相似文献

It has been established by means of the auto- and cross-correlation EEG analysis of children in the second year of life that different functional systems of relationships of cortical structures are formed during the word perception depending on whether it is an indifferent or signal stimulus for the child. In response to indifferent words, synphasic oscillations of the biopotentials appear in the infero-parietal and temporal, as well as in the temporal and frontal zones of the dominant hemisphere, without enhancement of the periodic processes and without appearance of a common rhythm. Signal verbal stimuli produce enhanced highly synchronous, synphasic interconnections of the infero-parietal biopotentials not only with temporal, but more considerably so with the frontal activity of the left hemisphere. Intraperitoneal infection of mice, subcutaneously immunized with acetone vaccines of various antigenic composition, with the microbes of hybrid salmonellae strains of murine and typhoid fever caused development of infectious process approaching natural infection. A significant elevation of the intensity of immunity was provided by preparations containing serologically identical O-antigen in infection with O-strains, or Vi-antigen in infection with Vi-strains. For the formation of animal resistance to infection it was necessary to immunize the mice with vaccines containing homologous H- and O-antigens (in infection with O-strains) and H-, O- and Vi-antigens (in infection with Vi-strains).
