Two new compounds isolated from the fruits of Pedalium murex are characterized as heptatriacontan-4-one and tetratriacontanyl octacosanoate by spectral studies. Pentatriacontane, sitosterol, hexatriacontanoic acid, hentriacontanoic acid, ursolic acid and vanillin have also been isolated and identified.  相似文献

An unstable anthraquinone was isolated from hairy root cultures of Sesamum indicum after preventing light throughout all experimental procedures. The structure of the (Z)-isomer of a previously isolated anthraquinone was determined to be 2-[(Z)-4-methylpenta-1,3-dien-1-yl]anthraquinone by spectroscopic methods. This compound was readily isomerized to the known (E)-isomer under light.  相似文献

External and internal flavonoids were isolated from 12 Uncarina taxa (Pedaliaceae), endemic to Madagascar. Four flavone aglycones, tricetin 7,3′,5′-trimethyl ether, tricetin 7,4′,5′-trimethyl ether, 5,3′-dihydroxy-6,7,4′,5′-tetramethoxyflavone and eupatorin were isolated from leaf wax of seven Uncarina taxa, Uncarina grandidieri, Uncarina decaryi, Uncarina abbreviata, Uncarina turicana, Uncarina platycarpa, Uncarina leandrii var. leandrii and Uncarina peltata, but not Uncarina stellulifera, Uncarina perrieri, Uncarina sakalava, Uncarina leptocarpa and U. leandrii var. rechbergeri. Furthermore, eight flavonoid glycosides were isolated from the leaves. Major glycosides were apigenin and luteolin 7-O-glucuronides and occurred in all the Uncarina taxa examined, except the absence of the former compound in U. peltata. Other glycosides were identified as hispidulin, jaceosidin, chrysoeriol and tricin 7-O-glucuronides, and luteolin 7,4′-di-O-glucuronide and a flavonol, isorhamnetin 3-O-diglucoside. From the results described above, methylated flavone aglycones and glucuronides were chemical characters of the leaves of Uncarina species, and also may be those of the family Pedaliaceae. Besides, an anthocyanin, two flavonols and three flavones were isolated from the flowers of U. grandidieri, and identified as cyanidin 3-O-rutinoside (anthocyanin), quercetin and isorhamnetin 7-O-glucuronides (flavonols) and apigenin, luteolin and jaceosidin 7-O-glucuronides (flavones).  相似文献

Sesamum indicum was grown in complete or potassium deficient nutrient solution and amino acids, amines, nitrogen and potassium were determined weekly in the leaves. The incorporation of l-arginine-[U-14C] into protein was also followed. The interconversions of the amino acids of the ordithine-urea cycle, and their contribution to the formation of amines, were studied in cell-free extracts and intact leaves using labelled amino acids. As the level of potassium in the leaves decreased, the levels of the amino acids ornithine, citrulline and arginine, and of the amines putrescine, N-carbamylputrescine and agmatine increased. Potassium deficiency also reduced the rate of protein synthesis. Putrescine appears to be formed preferentially from citrulline with N-carbamylputrescine as intermediate.  相似文献

In order to clarify the biosynthetic origin of 2-geranyl-1,4-naphthoquinone and its biogenetically related anthraquinone, which are possible intermediates of anthrasesamones, [1-13C]glucose was administered to a hairy root culture of Sesamum indicum. The labeling patterns of these quinone derivatives indicated that the naphthoquinone ring and geranyl side-chain of geranylnaphthoquinone were respectively biosynthesized through the shikimate and methylerythritol phosphate pathways, and that these quinone derivatives have the same biosynthetic origin.  相似文献

Three anthraquinones, named anthrasesamones A, B and C, were isolated from the roots of Sesamum indicum, and their respective structures were determined to be 1-hydroxy-2-(4-methylpent-3-enyl)anthraquinone, 1,4-dihydroxy-2-(4-methylpent-3-enyl)anthraquinone and 2-chloro-1,4-dihydroxy-3-(4-methylpent-3-enyl)anthraquinone on the basis of spectroscopic evidence. Two known anthraquinones were also isolated for the first time from S. indicum roots and characterized as 2-(4-methylpent-3-enyl)anthraquinone and (E)-2-(4-methylpenta-1,3-dienyl)anthraquinone. Anthrasesamone C is a rare chlorinated anthraquinone in higher plants.  相似文献

2-Geranyl-1,4-naphthoquinone was isolated from the hairy root culture of Sesamum indicum. The structure was determined to be 2-[(E)-3,7-dimethylocta-2,6-dienyl]-1,4-naphthoquinone on the basis of spectroscopic evidence and chemical synthesis. The production of anthrasesamones A, B and C by the hairy root culture was also confirmed for the first time.  相似文献

Iridoid glycosides, harprocumbide A (6'-O-alpha-D-galactopyranosylharpagoside, 1) and harprocumbide B (6'-O-(cis-p-coumaroyl)-procumbide, 2) were isolated from the tubers of Harpagophytum prucumbens D.C., along with nine known iridoid glycosides 6-O-alpha-D-galactopyranosylharpagoside (3), and harpagoside (4), harpagide (5), 8-cinnamoylmyoporoside (6), 8-O-feruloylhapagide (7), procumbide (8), 6'-O-(p-coumaroyl)-procumbide (9), 8-O-(p-coumaroyl)-harpagide (10) and 8-O-(cis-p-coumaroyl)-harpagide (11). Compound 10 showed marginal inhibition activity against macrophages respiratory burst.  相似文献
