Streptococcus mutans glucosyltransferases (GtfB, -C, and -D)and their products formed from sucrose, glucans, play an essentialrole in the pathogenesis of dental caries. Enzymatically activeGtf is found in whole human saliva (solution), and incorporatedinto the salivary pellicle that is formed on teeth in vivo (surface).GtfB glucans are predominantly 1,3-linked; however, surface-formedglucans from GtfB contain greater amounts of 3-linked glucosethan glucans formed in solution. In contrast, the major linkageof glucans formed on the surface by GtfB in the presence ofsucrose and starch hydrolysates is 4-linked glucose. GtfC-derivedglucans in solution have a major linkage of 6-linked glucose,while surface-formed glucans from the same enzyme have 3-linkedglucose as the major linkage. GtfD glucans formed either insolution or on the surface are predominantly 1,6-linked; however,surface-formed glucans contain more 6-linked glucose than solution-formedglucans. Digestion with the glucanohydrolases mutanase and dextranaseshows differences in susceptibility among glucans formed eitherin solution or on the surface by each of the Gtf enzymes, anddifferences are also seen in the soluble end products from thesedigestions. Water‐insoluble glucan (WIG) produced by mutans streptococci, an important cariogenic pathogen, plays an important role in the formation of dental biofilm and adhesion of biofilm to tooth surfaces. Glucanohydrolases, such as mutanase (α‐1,3‐glucanase) and dextranase (α‐1,6‐glucanase), are able to hydrolyze WIG. The purposes of this study were to construct bi‐functional chimeric glucanase, composed of mutanase and dextranase, and to examine the effects of this chimeric glucanase on the formation and decomposition of biofilm. The mutanase gene from Paenibacillus humicus NA1123 and the dextranase gene from Streptococcus mutans ATCC 25175 were cloned and ligated into a pE‐SUMOstar Amp plasmid vector. The resultant his‐tagged fusion chimeric glucanase was expressed in Escherichia coli BL21 (DE3) and partially purified. The effects of chimeric glucanase on the formation and decomposition of biofilm formed on a glass surface by Streptococcus sobrinus 6715 glucosyltransferases were then examined. This biofilm was fractionated into firmly adherent, loosely adherent, and non‐adherent WIG fractions. Amounts of WIG in each fraction were determined by a phenol‐sulfuric acid method, and reducing sugars were quantified by the Somogyi–Nelson method. Chimeric glucanase reduced the formation of the total amount of WIG in a dose‐dependent manner, and significant reductions of WIG in the adherent fraction were observed. Moreover, the chimeric glucanase was able to decompose biofilm, being 4.1 times more effective at glucan inhibition of biofilm formation than a mixture of dextranase and mutanase. These results suggest that the chimeric glucanase is useful for prevention of dental biofilm formation.  相似文献

Insoluble alpha-D-glucan, previously formed on a glass surface from sucrose by the action of cell-free D-glucosyltransferases of Streptococcus sobrinus OMZ176, was significantly removed by a purified preparation of endo-(1----3)-alpha-D-glucanase (mutanase) from a strain of Pseudomonas sp. Almost complete dissociation of adherent glucan occurred at the highest enzyme concentration (40 mU/mL) tested. Synthesis and de novo adherence on glass of the glucan was markedly inhibited by the presence of mutanase, even at low concentrations (4 mU/mL or less). When compared to native glucan, the mutanase-modified glucan samples (a) contained lower proportion of D-(1----3) linkages; (b) showed lower susceptibility to mutanase and higher susceptibility to (1----6)-alpha-D-glucanase (dextranase); (c) contained larger amounts of low-molecular-weight fractions; (d) had lower intrinsic viscosities; (e) showed higher S. sobrinus cell-agglutinating activities; and (f) consisted of looser entwinement of coalescent single-stranded fibrils (a major component) and shorter double-stranded fibrils (a minor one).  相似文献

The highly aggregated proteins precipitated by (NH4)2SO4 from the culture fluid of three strains of Streptococcus mutans gradually released less aggregated glucosyltransferase activities - dextransucrase and mutansucrase - which catalysed the synthesis of water-soluble and insoluble glucans from sucrose. Mutansucrase was eluted from a column of Sepharose 6B before dextransucrase. This activity was lost during subsequent dialysis and gel filtration, but there was a corresponding increase in dextransucrase activity which catalysed the formation of soluble glucan when incubated with sucrose alone, and insoluble glucan when incubated with sucrose and 1.55 M-(NH4)2SO4. Relative rates of synthesis of soluble and insoluble glucan in the presence of 1.55 M-(MH4)2SO4 were dependent upon the enzyme concentration: high concentrations favoured insoluble glucan synthesis. Insoluble glucans synthesized by mutansucrase or by dextransucrase in the presence of 1.55 M-(NH4)2SO4 were more sensitive to hydrolysis by mutanase than by dextranse, but soluble glucans were more extensively hydrolysed by dextranase than by mutanase. Partially purified dextransucrase sedimented through glycerol density gradients as a single symmetrical peak with an apparent molecular weight in the range 100000 to 110000. In the presence of 1.55 M-(NH4)2SO4, part of the activity sedimented rapidly as a high molecular weight aggregate. The results strongly suggest that soluble and insoluble glucans are synthesized by interconvertible forms of the same glucosyltransferase. The aggregated form, mutansucrase, preferentially catalyses (1 leads to 3)-alpha bond formation but dissociates during gel filtration to the dextransucrase form which catalyses (1 leads to 6)-alpha bond formation.  相似文献

The single glucosyltransferase (GTF) of Streptococcus gordonii Challis CH1 makes alpha 1,3- and alpha 1,6-linked glucans from sucrose. The GTF carboxyl-terminal region has six direct repeats thought to be involved in glucan binding. Strains with defined mutations in this region have been described recently (M. M. Vickerman, M. C. Sulavik, P. E. Minick, and D. B. Clewell, Infect. Immun. 64:5117-5128, 1996). Strain CH107 GTF has three internal direct repeats deleted; the 59 carboxyl-terminal amino acids are identical to those of the parental strain. This deletion resulted in decreased enzyme activity but did not affect the amount of cell-associated GTF protein. The GTFs of strains CH2RPE and CH4RPE have six and eight direct repeats, respectively, but are both missing the 14 carboxyl-terminal amino acids. Strain CH2RPE had significantly decreased levels of cell-associated GTF; this decrease was not obviated by the increased number of direct repeats in strain CH4RPE. Thus, the carboxyl-terminal amino acids appeared to influence the amount of cell-associated GTF more than the direct repeats. The qualitative and quantitative differences in the GTFs did not affect the abilities of these strains to accumulate on hydroxyapatite beads in the absence of sucrose. However, when sucrose was added as a substrate for GTF, the mutant strains were unable to accumulate on these surfaces to the same extent as the parent. These differences in sucrose-associated accumulation may be due to changes in the nature of the glucans produced by the different enzymes and/or cohesive interactions between these glucans and the GTF on the surfaces of the growing streptococci.  相似文献

Leuconostoc mesenteroides NRRL B-1355 produces dextrans and alternan from sucrose. Alternan is an unusual dextran-like polymer containing alternating α(1→6)/α(1→3) glucosidic bonds. Cultures were mutagenized with UV and ethyl methanesulfonate, and colony morphology mutants were selected on 10% sucrose plates. Colony morphology variants exhibited changes from parent cultures in the production of one or more glucosyltransferases (GTFs) and glucans. Mutants were characterized by measuring resistance of glucan products to dextranase digestion, by electrophoresis, and by high-pressure liquid chromatography of maltose acceptor products generated from sucrose-maltose mixtures. Some mutants produced almost pure fraction L dextran, and cultures exhibited a single principal GTF band on sodium dodecyl sulfate-acrylamide gels. Other mutants produced glucans enriched for alternan. Colony morphology characteristics (size, smoothness, and opacity) and liquid culture properties (clumpiness, color, and viscosity in 10% sucrose medium) were explained on the basis of GTF production. The gene encoding alternansucrase (ASR) from Leuconostoc mesenteroides NRRL B-1355, an original sucrose glucosyltransferase (GTF) specific to alternating alpha-1,3 and alpha-1,6 glucosidic bond synthesis, was cloned, sequenced and expressed into Escherichia coli. Recombinant enzyme catalyzed oligoalternan synthesis from sucrose and maltose acceptor. From sequence comparison, it appears that ASR possesses the same domains as those described for GTFs specific to either contiguous alpha-1,3 osidic bond or contiguous alpha-1,6 osidic bond synthesis. However, the variable region and the glucan binding domain are longer than in other GTFs (by 100 and 200 amino acids respectively). The N-catalytic domain which presents 49% identity with the other GTFs from L. mesenteroides possesses the three determinants potentially involved in the glucosyl enzyme formation.  相似文献

Recently, we found a novel primer-independent, water-soluble glucan synthase as a fourth glucosyltransferase (GTF) in a culture supernatant of strain AHT-k of Streptococcus sobrinus (Y. Yamashita, N. Hanada, and T. Takehara, Biochem. Biophys. Res. Commun. 150:687-693, 1988). In the present study, four kinds of purified GTFs, including the novel GTF, were prepared. They were composed of two primer-dependent GTFs and two primer-independent GTFs. Of the primer-dependent GTFs, one was a water-insoluble glucan synthase and the other was a water-soluble glucan synthase; both of the primer-independent GTFs were water-soluble glucan synthases (GTF-Sis). Using antisera against four purified GTFs, we concluded that the immunological properties of each were completely different from those of the others. Additionally, it was shown that the novel GTF-Si, which was previously shown to have a molecular weight of 137,000, was proteolytically degraded and could be isolated at a molecular weight of 152,000 and that Streptococcus cricetus secreted an enzyme that immunologically cross-reacted with GTF-Si. While the product of the novel GTF-Si was not an effective primer for both of the primer-dependent enzymes (water-soluble and -insoluble glucan synthases), the product of the enzyme affected the molecular size of the products of the other GTF-Sis.  相似文献

Binucleate Rhizoctonia (BNR) isolate (232-C6) is an effective biocontrol agent for protection of potato from Rhizoctonia canker, a disease caused by Rhizoctonia solani. Production of hydrolytic enzymes is one of the best known inducible defense responses following microbial infection. We isolated and characterized a cell wall alpha-glucan from BNR, which induces beta-1,3 glucanase activities in potato sprouts, the primary site of infection by R. solani. An autoclaving method, previously reported for isolation of oligosaccharide elicitors was used, and the glucan purified by chromatographic techniques. Maximal induction of beta-1,3 glucanase activity in potato sprouts was obtained with 250 microg of the alpha-glucan elicitor after 6 days from inoculation time. Both, BNR mycelium and the alpha-glucan produced a similar kinetic response of beta-1,3 glucanase. However, the alpha-glucan did not induce phytoalexin accumulation, previously correlated with the defense response. Uronic acids (approximately 10% with respect to total neutral sugars) were determined and identified as glucuronic acid by high-pH anion-exchange chromatography. Methylation analysis showed that the glucan consists of (1-->3) and (1-->4)-linked glucose units with preponderance of the first ones. Some of the (1-->4) linkages were branched at position 6. The glucan was partially degraded with amyloglucosidase. This, together with the NMR spectra data and the high optical rotation of the original (+195 degrees ) and degraded glucans (+175 degrees ) proved the alpha configuration. Further methylation of the amyloglucosidase degraded glucans indicated that they consist of (1-->3)-linked glucoses. The present study is the first report on the isolation and characterization of an alpha-glucan from Rhizoctonia, that may be important as a biocontrol factor.  相似文献

Abstract The enzyme α (1 → 3),3-glucanohydrolase (referred to as mutanase) from the filamentous fungus Trichoderma harzianum OMZ 779 is capable of degrading the water-insoluble glucan in dental plaque. Previously, it was necessary to produce the glucan (referred to as mutan) in vitro for use as the sole carbon source and inducer of mutanase synthesis in fungal cultures. We report here that raffinose also induces the production of mutanase. The metabolism of raffinose differed from that of other sugars in metabolic end products and secreted protein profile. In addition to mutanase, we observed an approximately 15 000 M r protein that was also regulated by carbon source and by illumination conditions.  相似文献

The gtfS gene, coding for a glucosyltransferase which synthesizes water-soluble glucan and previously cloned from Streptococcus downei strain MFe28 (mutans serotype h) into a bacteriophage vector, was subcloned into a plasmid vector. The gtfS gene products expressed in Escherichia coli were compared to the primer-independent, oligo-isomaltosaccharide synthase in Streptococcus sobrinus strain AHT (mutans serotype g) and shown to resemble it closely in molecular mass, isoelectric point, immunological properties, optimum pH and Km values. The glucans produced from sucrose by the gtfS gene products are alpha-1,6-linked linear oligo-isomaltosaccharides without any branching sites. A similar gtfS gene was also detected on chromosomal DNA from S. sobrinus strain AHT.  相似文献

Glucansucrases of oral streptococci and Leuconostoc mesenteroides have a common pattern of structural organization and characteristically contain a domain with a series of tandem amino acid repeats in which certain residues are highly conserved, particularly aromatic amino acids and glycine. In some glucosyltransferases (GTFs) the repeat region has been identified as a glucan binding domain (GBD). Such GBDs are also found in several glucan binding proteins (GBP) of oral streptococci that do not have glucansucrase activity. Alignment of the amino acid sequences of 20 glucansucrases and GBP showed the widespread conservation of the 33-residue A repeat first identified in GtfI of Streptococcus downei. Site-directed mutagenesis of individual highly conserved residues in recombinant GBD of GtfI demonstrated the importance of the first tryptophan and the tyrosine-phenylalanine pair in the binding of dextran, as well as the essential contribution of a basic residue (arginine or lysine). A microplate binding assay was developed to measure the binding affinity of recombinant GBDs. GBD of GtfI was shown to be capable of binding glucans with predominantly alpha-1,3 or alpha-1,6 links, as well as alternating alpha-1,3 and alpha-1,6 links (alternan). Western blot experiments using biotinylated dextran or alternan as probes demonstrated a difference between the binding of streptococcal GTF and GBP and that of Leuconostoc glucansucrases. Experimental data and bioinformatics analysis showed that the A repeat motif is distinct from the 20-residue CW motif, which also has conserved aromatic amino acids and glycine and which occurs in the choline-binding proteins of Streptococcus pneumoniae and other organisms.  相似文献

Anti-cariogenic properties of a water-soluble extract from cacao   总被引:5,自引:0,他引:5  
The addition of a water-soluble extract from cacao-extracted powder (CEPWS) to a cariogenic model food, a white chocolate-like diet that contains 35% sucrose, significantly reduced caries scores in SPF rats infected with Streptococcus sobrinus 6715, compared to control rats fed a white chocolate-like diet. CEPWS markedly inhibited water-insoluble glucan (WIG) synthesis through crude glucosyltransferases (GTFs) from Streptococcus sobrinus B13N in vitro. GTF-inhibitor(s) in CEPWS was prepared through three-step fractionation, and was termed CEPWS-BT, which is a high molecular weight (>10 kDa) heat-stable matrix of sugar, protein, and polyphenol. When the inhibitory effect of CEPWS-BT on glucan synthesis was examined using the purified GTF-I, GTF-T, and GTF-U enzymes from S. sobrinus B13N, significant reduction in GTF-I and GTF-T activity as a result of adding CEPWS-BT at low concentrations was observed. These results suggest that the addition of CEPWS to cariogenic food could be useful in controlling dental caries.  相似文献

Studies were made on the physical and chemical properties of polysaccharides synthesized by cell-free extracts of Streptococcus mutans, Streptococcus sanguis, and Streptococcus sp. and their susceptibilities to dextranases. Among the polysaccharides examined, insoluble glucans were rather resistant to available dextranase preparations, and the insoluble, sticky glucan produced by S. mutans OMZ 176, which could be important in formation of dental plaques, was the most resistant. By enrichment culture of soil specimens, using OMZ 176 glucans as the sole carbon source, an organism was isolated that produced colonies surrounded by a clear lytic zone on opaque agar plates containing the OMZ 176 glucan. The organism was identified as a strain of Flavobacterium and named the Ek-14 bacterium. EK-14 bacterium was grown in Trypticase soy broth, and an enzyme capable of hydrolyzing the OMZ 176 glucan was concentrated from the culture supernatant and purified by negative adsorption on a diethylaminoethyl-cellulose (DE-32) column and gradient elution chromatography with a carboxymethyl-cellulose (CM-32) column. The enzyme was a basic protein with an isoelectric point of pH 8.5 and molecular weight of 65,000. Its optimum pH was 6.3 and its optimal temperature was 42 C. The purified enzyme released 11% of the total glucose residues of the OMZ 176 glucan as reducing sugars and solubilized about half of the substrate glucan. The products were found to be isomaltose, nigerose, and nigerotriose, with some oligosaccharides. The purified enzyme split the alpha-1,3-glucan endolytically and was inactive toward glucans containing alpha-1,6, alpha-1,4, beta-1,3, beta-1,4, and/or beta-1,6 bonds as the main linkages.  相似文献

Several proteins from culture supernatants of Streptococcus sobrinus were able to bind avidly to Sephadex G-75. The proteins could be partially eluted from the Sephadex by low-molecular-weight alpha-1,6 glucan or fully eluted by 4 M guanidine hydrochloride. Elution profiles were complex, yielding proteins of 16, 45, 58 to 60, 90, 135, and 145 kDa, showing that the wild-type strain possessed multiple glucan-binding proteins. Two mutants of Streptococcus sobrinus incapable of aggregation by high-molecular-weight alpha-1,6 glucan were isolated. One mutant was spontaneous, from a cell suspension to which glucan had been added, whereas the other was induced by ethyl methanesulfonate. Both mutants were devoid of a 60-kDa protein, as shown by gel electrophoresis of culture supernatants and whole cells. Amino acid analysis showed that the 58- to 60-kDa protein and the 90-kDa protein were distinct, although both were N-terminally blocked. Both mutants retained their ability to adhere to glass in the presence of sucrose and to ferment mannitol and sorbitol. Both mutants retained their glucosytransferase activities, as shown by activity gels. Western blots (immunoblots), employing antibody against a glucan-binding protein of Streptococcus mutans, failed to reveal cross-reactivity with S. sobrinus proteins. The results show that even though S. sobrinus produces several proteins capable of binding alpha-1,6 glucans, the 60-kDa protein is probably the lectin needed for glucan-dependent cellular aggregation.  相似文献

An oolong tea polyphenol (OTF6) has been shown to possess a strong anti-glucosyltransferase (GTF) activity and inhibit experimental dental caries in rats infected with mutans streptococci. The effects of OTF6 on the functional domains of GTFs of Streptococcus mutans, an N-terminal catalytic domain (CAT), and a C-terminal glucan-binding domain (GBD), were examined. The maximum velocity of glucan synthesis by recombinant GTFB (rGTFB) and GTFD (rGTFD) became significantly slower in the presence of OTF6, however, Km values remained stable when compared in their absence. These results suggest that OTF6 reduces glucan synthesis by non-competitively inhibiting the GBD of S. mutans GTFB and GTFD. Further, the recombinant proteins of CAT (rCAT) and GBD (rGBD) were expressed using Escherichia coli, and purified by affinity column chromatography. rGBD but not rCAT was found to possess dextran-binding activity, which was shown to be inhibited by OTF6. These results indicate that OTF6, a polymeric polyphenol specific for oolong tea is able to reduce glucan synthesis by inhibiting the GBD of S. mutans GTFB.  相似文献

Two tandemly aligned glucosyltransferase (GTF) genes whose gene products are responsible for water‐soluble glucan synthesis were isolated from Streptococcus dentirousetti NUM1303 and sequenced. One of the GTF genes of S. dentirousetti consisted of a 4110 bp open reading frame (ORF) that encoded for a 1369 amino acid protein and was revealed to be a S. sobrinus gtfS homolog. The percent similarity of amino acid sequences of the GTF‐S from S. dentirousetti compared to those from S. sobrinus was 99%. In addition, a putative gtfT was found in tandem in the downstream region of the S. dentirousetti gtfS. The gtfT of S. dentirousetti consisted of a 4527 bp ORF encoding for 1508 amino acids. The similarity of amino acid sequences of the GTF‐T from S. dentirousetti and S. sobrinus was 94%. Phylogenetic analysis based on amino acid sequences from other related streptococcal GTFs suggested that both GTF‐S and GTF‐T of S. dentirousetti are closely related to S. sobrinus.  相似文献

Two glucosyltransferases from Streptococcus mutans 6715 were purified and separated. One of the glucosyltransferases synthesized an insoluble glucan, and the other, a soluble glucan. The enzymes were immobilized on Bio-Gel P-2 beads, and the mechanism of glucan synthesis was studied by pulse and chase techniques with 14C-sucrose. Label was associated with the immobilized enzymes. The label could be quantitatively released by heating at pH 2. Analysis of the labeled products from the pulse experiment showed labeled glucose and labeled glucan; the chase experiment showed labeled glucan and a significant decrease in labeled glucose. The glucans from the pulse and the chase experiments were separated from glucose by chromatography on Bio-Gel P-6. They were reduced with sodium borohydride, and the products hydrolyzed with acid. Analysis of the labeled products from the reduced and hydrolyzed, pulsed glucans showed labeled glucose and labeled glucitol; label in the glucitol was greatly decreased in the chase experiment. These experiments showed that glucose and glucan were covalently attached to the active site of the enzymes during synthesis, and that the glucose was being transferred to the reducing end of the glucan chain. A mechanism for the synthesis of the glucans is proposed in which there are two catalytic groups on each enzyme that holds glucosyl and glucanosyl units. During synthesis, the glucosyl and glucanosyl units alternate between the two sites, giving elongation of the glucans from the reducing end. The addition of increasing amounts of B-512F dextran to the insoluble-glucan-forming glucosyltransferase produced a decrease in the proportion of insoluble glucan formed and a concomitant increase in a soluble glucan. The total amount of glucan synthesized (soluble plus insoluble) was increased 1.6 times over the amount of insoluble glucan formed when no exogenous dextran was added. It is shown that the addition of B-512F dextran affects the solubility of the synthesized alpha-(1 to 3)-glucan by accepting alpha-(1-3)-glucan chains at various positions along the dextran chain, to give a soluble, graft polymer.  相似文献

Glucosyltransferase (GTF)-I from cariogenic Streptococcus sobrinus elongates the α-(1→3)-linked glucose polymer branches on the primer dextran bound to the C-terminal glucan-binding domain. We investigated the GTF-I-catalyzed glucan synthesis reaction in the absence of the primer dextran. The time course of saccharide production during dextran-independent glucan synthesis from sucrose was analyzed. Fructose and glucose were first produced by the sucrose hydrolysis. Leucrose was subsequently produced, followed by insoluble glucan [α-(1→3)-linked glucose polymers] after a lag phase. High levels of intermediate nigerooligosaccharide series accumulation were characteristically not observed during the lag phase. The results from the enzymatic activity of the acceptor reaction for the nigerooligosaccharide with a degree of polymerization of 2-6 and methyl α-D-glucopyranoside as a glucose analog indicate that the activity increased with an increase in the degree of polymerization. The production of insoluble glucan was numerically simulated using the fourth-order Runge-Kutta method with the kinetic parameters estimated from the enzyme assay. The simulated time course provided a profile similar to that of experimental data. These results define the relationship between the kinetic properties of GTF-I and the time course of saccharide production. These results are discussed with respect to a mechanism that underlies efficient glucan synthesis.  相似文献

Candida albicans and mutans streptococci are frequently detected in dental plaque biofilms from toddlers afflicted with early childhood caries. Glucosyltransferases (Gtfs) secreted by Streptococcus mutans bind to saliva-coated apatite (sHA) and to bacterial surfaces, synthesizing exopolymers in situ, which promote cell clustering and adherence to tooth enamel. We investigated the potential role Gtfs may play in mediating the interactions between C. albicans SC5314 and S. mutans UA159, both with each other and with the sHA surface. GtfB adhered effectively to the C. albicans yeast cell surface in an enzymatically active form, as determined by scintillation spectroscopy and fluorescence imaging. The glucans formed on the yeast cell surface were more susceptible to dextranase than those synthesized in solution or on sHA and bacterial cell surfaces (P < 0.05), indicating an elevated α-1,6-linked glucose content. Fluorescence imaging revealed that larger numbers of S. mutans cells bound to C. albicans cells with glucans present on their surface than to yeast cells without surface glucans (uncoated). The glucans formed in situ also enhanced C. albicans interactions with sHA, as determined by a novel single-cell micromechanical method. Furthermore, the presence of glucan-coated yeast cells significantly increased the accumulation of S. mutans on the sHA surface (versus S. mutans incubated alone or mixed with uncoated C. albicans; P < 0.05). These data reveal a novel cross-kingdom interaction that is mediated by bacterial GtfB, which readily attaches to the yeast cell surface. Surface-bound GtfB promotes the formation of a glucan-rich matrix in situ and may enhance the accumulation of S. mutans on the tooth enamel surface, thereby modulating the development of virulent biofilms.  相似文献
