选择稻田生态系统中天敌蜘蛛优势种食虫沟瘤蛛(Oedothorox insecticeps)、拟水狼蛛(Pirata subpiraticus)、粽管巢蛛(Clubiona japonicola)和水稻主要害虫飞虱(Nilaparvata lugenis)组成多物种共存系统,运用二次通用旋转组合设计统计方法探讨多种蜘蛛对1种稻虫的控制作用,分析天敌之间以及天敌与害虫之间的相互作用关系,得出了天敌对害虫的捕食量模型2个。对模型进行主次分析表明,害虫自身密度的大小对天敌的捕食量影响较大。天敌中对捕食量作用最大的是粽管巢蛛,其次是拟水狼蛛,食虫沟瘤蛛的作用稍小。分析天敌间的交互作用表明,天敌个体大、活动能力强、生态位窄及其重叠值高、捕食量大,它们的种内种间干扰程度也大,特别是粽管巢蛛的种内干扰、拟水狼蛛和粽管巢蛛的种间干扰作用十分明显。最后讨论了天敌蜘蛛能有效控制害虫的最大密度,以及在该害虫密度下各种天敌密度的最佳组合。  相似文献

一、引言怎样评价天敌的作用是生物防治研究和实践中的一个重要问题。迄今为止,已有不少评价的方法。这些评价方法都是从控制害虫的种群数量的角度对天敌的作用进行评价的。但是,从生态经济学的观点看,用对害虫种群数量的控制程度作为评价天敌的作用的标准不太合理。因为,决定天敌对害虫控制效果的因子不仅有对害虫种群数量的控制,还有控制所发生的时间,而后者是决定天敌控制害虫是否造成危害的重要因素。  相似文献

天敌是影响害虫种群动态的重要因素。一般认为天敌对害虫作用的方式,主要是通过直接的捕食或寄生。事实上,天敌还可以通过捕食或寄生过程中产生的"威吓"等非直接致死效应(Non-lethal effects)或胁迫作用(Stress),影响着害虫的生长发育、繁殖。有时这种天敌存在的非直接致死效应对害虫产生的负面影响甚至比天敌对害虫的直接捕食作用还强。显然,评价天敌作用时,除了计算天敌对害虫的直接捕食或寄生的效率,还应考虑天敌存在时对害虫的非直接致死效应。本文基于作者及前人的研究,分别论述了捕食性天敌、寄生性天敌对害虫的非直接致死效应,解析了环境变化对天敌非直接致死效应的影响,探讨了这种非直接致死效应的可能机制,提出了未来的研究发展方向。  相似文献

天敌昆虫是自然生态系统内抑制害虫种群的重要因子,利用天敌昆虫控制农业害虫是安全有效的害虫控制策略,也是未来害虫管理发展的方向.本文在系统总结国内外研究进展的基础上,提出害虫治理要从“被动应急控制”转变为内部助增的“主动促进自然调控”的新理念,创新多种天敌昆虫协同控制多种害虫的“网式协同调控”新途径,建立一个自我维持并可有效降低害虫种群水平的农业生态系统.未来的研究应针对“天敌昆虫调控害虫的内在机制”与“天敌昆虫在农业生态系统中持续发挥作用的生态学基础”等关键科学问题,从基因、个体、种群、群落和生态系统不同层次,重点开展:1)天敌昆虫寄生和捕食害虫的行为与适应机制;2)天敌昆虫大量繁育的营养与生殖生理基础;3)寄生性天敌昆虫与寄主互作的免疫机制;4)天敌昆虫协同控害的生态学机制;5)天敌昆虫可持续利用的生物防治新模式等方面的研究.  相似文献

分析了化学杀虫剂对菜田节肢动物结构组成、多样性变化等的影响,结果表明化学杀虫剂对菜田节肢动物的影响主要表现在物种组成、多样性指数及物种分布的均匀性等方面,尤其是对害虫类、捕食性天敌和蜘蛛类的影响尤为明显。停止化学杀虫剂使用后,菜田优势害虫种群趋势指数降低,天敌的控制作用明显增强,节肢动物多样性指数增大。因此,限制和停止化学杀虫剂的使用,恢复由于杀虫剂使用而破坏了的菜田环境,逐步增强天敌对优势害虫的控制能力,这在菜田害虫生态控制中具有重要作用。  相似文献

景观格局变化是全球变化的一个重要内容。农田是由人类赖以生存所种植的人工栽培作物组成的生态系统。在该景观系统中,多种植物-害虫-天敌相互作用、相互制约,形成有机整体。研究农田景观格局对害虫和天敌种群动态影响,不仅在害虫生物防治的实践中有重要意义,而且对于揭示人类活动对生物多样性结构与功能的影响,阐明农田景观中生物多样性整合、维持机理有重大的理论意义。本文从农田景观格局的"质、量、形、度"4个方面,系统地论述了农田景观格局变化对害虫和天敌的作用,分析了农田景观的生物控制服务功能,指出了未来研究发展的方向。  相似文献

In 1992, a study was begun to compare the effect of landfarming vs. natural attenuation on the restoration of soil that had been contaminated with crude oil. Each of three lysimeters was filled with a sandy loam topsoil, and crude oil was applied to two of the lysimeters. One of the contaminated lysimeters was tilled, watered, and received a one-time application of fertilizer (N, P, K). No amendments were added to the second contaminated lysimeter, and the third was left uncontaminated. The lysimeters were monitored for 6 months and then left unattended. In 1995 and again in 1997 we sampled these lysimeters to evaluate the long-term effects of contamination and bioremediation. In 1995 we found marked effects on soil chemistry, bacterial, fungal, nematode, and plant populations and a higher rate of bioremediation in the fertilized-contaminated lysimeter (Lawlor et al., 1997). Data from 1997 and previously unreported data from 1995 are the subject of the current report. In 1997, low densities of hydrocarbon-degrading bacteria were found in all the lysimeters and little loss of TPH from the two contaminated lysimeters, suggesting a decreased rate of bioremediation. Nevertheless, there were increases in diversity and number of functional groups of bacteria, nematodes, and native plant species. However, molecular analyses revealed marked differences remained in the composition of dominant eubacterial species, and tests of soybeans indicated field conditions remained unsuitable for these plants.  相似文献

With human saliva as an inoculum, microcosm dental plaques were grown on dental amalgam in a constant-depth film fermentor (CDFF) in the presence (suc +ve) and absence (suc −ve) of sucrose. The biofilms were then exposed to 0.2% chlorhexidine gluconate (CHG) for 1, 5, or 60 min and the survivors enumerated. Suc +ve biofilms had higher proportions of streptococci but lower proportions of veillonellae than suc −ve biofilms. Exposure to CHG for 1 min reduced the viable count of suc −ve and suc +ve biofilms by 53% and 89% respectively. In both cases, reductions were mainly attributable to killing of streptococci and actinomyces. After 60 min of exposure, 4% of the bacteria in the suc −ve and 2% in the suc +ve biofilms remained viable. This study has shown that large numbers of bacteria in microcosm dental plaques can survive a 1-min exposure to 0.2% CHG and that even after a 60-min exposure, substantial numbers of bacteria remain viable. We consider a multi-species community modelled as a complex network of populations, where the links are given by a random asymmetric connectivity matrix J, with fraction 1 − C of zero entries, where C reflects the over-all connectivity of the system. The non-zero elements of J are drawn from a Gaussian distribution with mean μ and standard deviation σ. The signs of the elements J ij reflect the nature of density-dependent interactions, such as predatory-prey, mutualism or competition, and their magnitudes reflect the strength of the interaction. In this study we try to uncover the broad features of the inter-species interactions that determine the global robustness of this network, as indicated by the average number of active nodes (i.e. non-extinct species) in the network, and the total population, reflecting the biomass yield. We find that the network transitions from a completely extinct system to one where all nodes are active, as the mean interaction strength goes from negative to positive, with the transition getting sharper for increasing C and decreasing σ. We also find that the total population, displays distinct non-monotonic scaling behaviour with respect to the product μC, implying that survival is dependent not merely on the number of links, but rather on the combination of the sparseness of the connectivity matrix and the net interaction strength. Interestingly, in an intermediate window of positive μC, the total population is maximal, indicating that too little or too much positive interactions is detrimental to survival. Rather, the total population levels are optimal when the network has intermediate net positive connection strengths. At the local level we observe marked qualitative changes in dynamical patterns, ranging from anti-phase clusters of period 2 cycles and chaotic bands, to fixed points, under the variation of mean μ of the interaction strengths. We also study the correlation between synchronization and survival, and find that synchronization does not necessarily lead to extinction. Lastly, we propose an effective low dimensional map to capture the behavior of the entire network, and this provides a broad understanding of the interplay of the local dynamical patterns and the global robustness trends in the network.  相似文献

The amino acid L-arginine inhibits bacterial coaggregation, is involved in cell-cell signaling, and alters bacterial metabolism in a broad range of species present in the human oral cavity. Given the range of effects of L-arginine on bacteria, we hypothesized that L-arginine might alter multi-species oral biofilm development and cause developed multi-species biofilms to disassemble. Because of these potential biofilm-destabilizing effects, we also hypothesized that L-arginine might enhance the efficacy of antimicrobials that normally cannot rapidly penetrate biofilms. A static microplate biofilm system and a controlled-flow microfluidic system were used to develop multi-species oral biofilms derived from pooled unfiltered cell-containing saliva (CCS) in pooled filter-sterilized cell-free saliva (CFS) at 37oC. The addition of pH neutral L-arginine monohydrochloride (LAHCl) to CFS was found to exert negligible antimicrobial effects but significantly altered biofilm architecture in a concentration-dependent manner. Under controlled flow, the biovolume of biofilms (μm3/μm2) developed in saliva containing 100-500 mM LAHCl were up to two orders of magnitude less than when developed without LAHCI. Culture-independent community analysis demonstrated that 500 mM LAHCl substantially altered biofilm species composition: the proportion of Streptococcus and Veillonella species increased and the proportion of Gram-negative bacteria such as Neisseria and Aggregatibacter species was reduced. Adding LAHCl to pre-formed biofilms also reduced biovolume, presumably by altering cell-cell interactions and causing cell detachment. Furthermore, supplementing 0.01% cetylpyridinium chloride (CPC), an antimicrobial commonly used for the treatment of dental plaque, with 500 mM LAHCl resulted in greater penetration of CPC into the biofilms and significantly greater killing compared to a non-supplemented 0.01% CPC solution. Collectively, this work demonstrates that LAHCl moderates multi-species oral biofilm development and community composition and enhances the activity of CPC. The incorporation of LAHCl into oral healthcare products may be useful for enhanced biofilm control.  相似文献

Abstract: Relationship between leaf orientation in natural or semi-natural herbaceous communities and the local abundance of direct light has rarely been investigated. We present evidence from a permanent plot experiment that seasonal direct light availability in 40 × 40 cm plots significantly affects mean leaf orientation in a semi-natural wooded meadow. In sunny years and in well-illuminated conditions, the leaf surface is exposed predominantly to the north, and vice versa . Two groups of species are responsible for such a response: of the variation in leaf orientation, 41 % is explainable through direct light availability for light-demanding species, and 26 % for graminoid species. In shade-tolerant species and in forbs there is no sign of a regression between leaf orientation and direct light abundance. Ability to plastically react to variation in seasonal and local direct light availability appears to be a trait under considerable selective pressure only in light-demanding plants, and more characteristic of species with graminoid growth form.  相似文献

Many natural and engineered biofilm systems periodically face disturbances. Here we present how the recovery time of a biofilm between disturbances (expressed as disturbance frequency) shapes the development of morphology and community structure in a multi-species biofilm at the landscape scale. It was hypothesized that a high disturbance frequency favors the development of a stable adapted biofilm system while a low disturbance frequency promotes a dynamic biofilm response. Biofilms were grown in laboratory-scale reactors over a period of 55-70 days and exposed to the biocide monochloramine at two frequencies: daily or weekly pulse injections. One untreated reactor served as control. Biofilm morphology and community structure were followed on comparably large biofilm areas at the landscape scale using automated image analysis (spatial gray level dependence matrices) and community fingerprinting (single-strand conformation polymorphisms). We demonstrated that a weekly disturbed biofilm developed a resilient morphology and community structure. Immediately after the disturbance, the biofilm simplified but recovered its initial complex morphology and community structure between two biocide pulses. In the daily treated reactor, one organism largely dominated a morphologically simple and stable biofilm. Disturbances primarily affected the abundance distribution of already present bacterial taxa but did not promote growth of previously undetected organisms. Our work indicates that disturbances can be used as lever to engineer biofilms by maintaining a biofilm between two developmental states.  相似文献
