亚洲玉米螟成虫寿命与繁殖力的地理差异   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1  
为探明亚洲玉米螟Ostrinia furnacalis繁殖力的地理差异,比较了亚洲玉米螟5个不同地理种群海南乐东(LD)、江西南昌(NC)、山东泰安(TA)、河北廊坊(LF)和黑龙江哈尔滨(HEB)的成虫寿命、产卵历期、产卵量,并分析了这些参数与各种群地理纬度的关系.成虫寿命随纬度升高而延长,从南到北各种群雌虫寿命分别为10.20、13.68、13.90、13.95 d和16.40 d,雄虫寿命分别为8.35、12.50、13.62、13.71 d和14.30 d;产卵历期随纬度升高而延长,从南到北各种群分别为7.45、10.45、11.90、10.62d和13.15 d;产卵量随纬度升高而增大,乐东产卵量显著低于其他种群,从南到北各种群产卵量分别为351.55、500.09、522.90、546.76粒和577.95粒/雌.这些研究结果初步揭示了亚洲玉米螟繁殖略策的地理差异.  相似文献

【目的】比较不同地理种群生活史特性的差异,是揭示生物体对环境适应机制的最有效方法之一。本研究旨在探明大猿叶虫Colaphellus bowringi不同地理种群生活史特性随纬度变异的特点。【方法】在室内恒温19℃、光周期16L∶8D条件下,观察测定了来自6个不同纬度的大猿叶虫种群从卵孵化到化蛹和化蛹到成虫羽化的时间,以及蛹和成虫体重。【结果】幼虫历期随纬度的升高逐渐延长,生长速率与纬度呈负相关,这两个生活史特性显示了顺梯度的变异。蛹历期在种群间没有显著差异。体重随纬度的升高逐渐减小,显示了反贝格曼法则。在所有的种群中,雌性蛹和成虫个体均显著大于雄虫,显示了雌性偏向的性体型二型性(SSD)。不同纬度的种群SSD指数存在差异,中纬度种群显示了最大的SSD指数。雄蛹在变态中比雌蛹丢失了更多的体重,导致成虫期的SSD指数大于蛹期。【结论】结果表明,大猿叶虫幼虫发育历期、生长速率和体重在不同纬度间呈现了显著变异。  相似文献

广布种昆虫可调节其生活史以适应栖息地的条件变化,如可以通过调节自身的生长发育和繁殖期,使其发生与栖息地的物候(如食料、气温和降雨等)同步,这对昆虫在栖息地的繁衍具有十分重要的意义。亚洲玉米螟Ostrinia furnacalis为玉米主要害虫,在中国从南到北都有分布,栖息地气候也不同,不同地理种群生活史发生了分化,如化性、临界光周期、滞育后羽化时间、体重和体型、繁殖力和抗寒力等均不同。然而该虫发育历期的地理变异尚未见系统报道。为此,详细比较了来自5个亚洲玉米螟不同地理种群即广西阳朔(YS)、江西南昌(NC)、山东泰安(TA)、河北廊坊(LF)和黑龙江哈尔滨(HEB)在20—31℃下卵、幼虫、蛹发育历期及其与栖息地纬度的关系。结果表明:不同温度下的不同地理种群的卵期不存在显著差异,在20、22和25℃下,卵期从南到北稍有延长,卵期与其栖息地纬度呈正相关;但在28℃下,不同地理种群的卵期基本相等,与纬度相关性不显著。在31℃下,不同地理种群的幼虫期不存在显著差异,而在其他温度下,不同地理种群的幼虫期存在显著差异;在22、25和28℃下,幼虫期与其栖息地纬度呈正相关,而在20和31℃下,幼虫期与其栖息地纬度呈负相关,在20、22和25℃下,最北的哈尔滨种群的幼虫期变幅不大,而其他4个种群的幼虫期随着温度的升高明显缩短。各地理种群20℃下的雌蛹、28℃下的雄蛹和31℃下的雌雄蛹期差异均不显著,其他雌或雄蛹期差异显著;各温度下的雌雄蛹期与其栖息地纬度存在正相关关系。这些研究结果揭示了广布种昆虫可以调节其自身发育历期以适应栖息地环境条件。  相似文献

为探明棉铃虫Helicoverpa armigera Hübner不同地理种群发育历期及其地理变异,通过对棉铃虫不同地理种群在不同温度和光周期下幼虫和蛹发育历期的研究,本论文系统比较了来自中国的4个地理种群,广东广州(23.08°N,113.14°E)、江西永修(29.04°N,115.82°E)、山东泰安(36.15°N,116.59°E)、辽宁喀佐(41.34°N,120.27°E)在20℃、22℃、25℃和28℃恒温下的幼虫、非滞育蛹和滞育蛹发育历期及其与栖息地纬度的关系。结果表明,棉铃虫幼虫发育历期随栖息地纬度的升高而缩短,在25℃下,与地理纬度存在明显的负相关关系,其它温度下呈不显著的负相关关系,雌雄幼虫发育历期相似,差异不显著;在20℃下,蛹历期(包括滞育蛹和非滞育蛹)与栖息地纬度呈显著负相关,其它温度下的蛹历期与栖息地纬度呈正相关,雄蛹历期均要略长于雌蛹历期,但差异不显著。棉铃虫幼虫和蛹发育历期随着纬度的变化呈现一种渐变的趋势,存在地理变异;北方种群的幼虫发育历期较南方种群的短;适温(22℃-28℃)范围内,北方种群的非滞育蛹发育历期比南方种群的更长些;不同地理种群间滞育蛹的历期亦存在较大的差别。这些结果进一步揭示了即使在同一种类昆虫中,不同实验条件,其各个虫态发育历期的地理变异也可能不同。  相似文献

褐飞虱Nilaparvata lugens(Stal)属迁飞性水稻害虫,其成虫有短翅和长翅两种翅型。 褐飞虱迁入雌虫均未经过交配,其短翅型由一对显性等位基因控制。翅型分化同时受到遗传和内分泌系统的协调控制,外界条件如密度和寄主等因子通过内分泌系统来影响翅型的分化。褐飞虱翅型分化的敏感龄期雌虫为1~3龄,而雄虫为1-5龄;不同若虫蜜度处理对褐飞虱成虫的前翅形成有一定的影响。分蘖期水稻饲养的褐飞虱短翅型比例明显高于孕穗期水稻饲养的褐飞虱。不同密度下各生物型间的翅型分化差异不显著。迁入地的浙江各种群属温带型,其雌虫短翅率低且与密度呈显著负相关;菲律宾热带种群雌虫在不同密度下均为短翅型,而雄虫的短翅率随密度增加而上升。广西种群接近热带型,其雌虫短翅率高但不随密度而变化。试验各种群的雄虫在中等密度甚至高密度时其短翅率出现最高。  相似文献

【目的】为了解斜纹夜蛾Spodoptera litura Fabricius体重、日龄、交配经历及形态特征对其性选择行为的影响。【方法】本实验通过标记成虫后,采用观察记录的方法对其进行探究。【结果】斜纹夜蛾雌虫的体重对雄虫的性选择影响比较明显,体重较大雄虫优先选择体重较小的雌虫(71.43%),而体重较小雄虫喜欢选择体重较大的雌虫(72.00%)。体重较大和体重较小的雄虫都能获得体重较大雌虫的交配选择,但是体重较大者被选择的机会更大(70.00%),体重较小的雄虫不能获得体重较小雌虫的选择。雄虫仅选择1日龄的雌虫,而雌虫偏向选择3日龄和5日龄雄虫。交配经历影响斜纹夜蛾的性选择,未交配的雄虫优先选择未交配的雌虫(86.67%),但未交配的雌虫则优先选择已交配的雄虫(66.67%)。雄虫的形态特征(体长、翅展、腹长、复眼间距和触角长)对雌虫性选择有较明显的影响,但雌虫的形态特征除翅展的大小外,其体长、腹长、复眼间距和触角长等形态特征在雄虫选择进行交配中的作用不大。【结论】体重、日龄、交配经历及形态特征都能不同程度影响斜纹夜蛾的性选择行为。  相似文献

环境对动物体型和暴露附器大小的影响已有大量研究,但对两性异形的影响研究尚不多见,本文研究了旱地沙蜥Phrynocephalus helioscopus 3个地理种群形态的两性异形和地理变异,综合了Bergmann法则、Allen法则和Rensch法则分析其体型、四肢和尾部大小的变化规律。结果表明,伊宁和塔城种群的雌、雄亚成体体型差异无统计学意义(P0.05),北屯市雄性体型显著大于雌性(P0.05);伊宁和北屯种群的雌性成体体型均显著大于雄性(P0.05),但塔城地区两性体型差异无统计学意义(P0.05)。协方差分析结果表明,亚成体两性间只有塔城地区的雄性前肢长显著大于雌性(P0.05);3个地区雄性成体均具有较大的后肢和尾部(P0.01),伊宁市雌性具有较长的前肢(P0.05),塔城和北屯市两性前肢长差异均无统计学意义(P0.05),3个地区旱地沙蜥的体型呈反Bergmann法则的现象;四肢和尾部的大小遵循Allen法则;体型、前肢长、后肢长和尾长不遵循Rensch法则。旱地沙蜥3个地理种群受弥散性的自然选择压力比定向性的繁殖力选择和性选择的作用更强。  相似文献

【目的】温度是变温动物最重要的环境因子,影响了所有的生活史特性。本研究旨在探明亚洲玉米螟Ostrinia furnacalis生活史特性随温度变异的特点。【方法】在恒温20,22,24,26,28,30和32℃,光周期16L∶8D室内条件下,测定了亚洲玉米螟南昌种群从卵孵化到化蛹和化蛹到成虫羽化的时间,以及蛹和成虫的体重。【结果】亚洲玉米螟幼虫和蛹的历期及总发育历期随温度的升高显著缩短。雄性幼虫历期和总发育历期显著短于雌性,显示了雄性先熟现象。生长速率与温度呈正相关。雌性生长速率在较低温度下显著低于雄性,但在高温下显著高于雄性。体重和温度之间的相关性没有遵循温度-体型大小法则,雌雄个体在高温下体重更重,雌性个体显著大于雄性,显示了雌性偏向的性体型二型性(sex size dimorphism,SSD)。与任希法则相反,亚洲玉米螟的SSD指数和体重随温度升高趋于增大。雄蛹在变态中比雌蛹丢失了更多的重量,导致成虫期的SSD指数大于蛹期。【结论】高温不仅显著缩短了亚洲玉米螟发育历期,而且导致了其在成熟时体重更大。亚洲玉米螟雌雄间的生活史特性存在较大差异。  相似文献

为了比较中国林蛙(Rana chensinensis)不同种群的形态特征、两性异形和雌体生殖力等方面的地理变异,在中国林蛙分布范围的南部(河南郑州)和北部(内蒙古扎兰屯)采集标本共130只,测量了两性的体长、体重等26项形态特征和雌体的生殖力。结果表明:(1)中国林蛙的形态特征及两性异形方面存在显著的地理变异,雌性显著大于雄性,扎兰屯种群显著大于郑州种群;(2)中国林蛙形态特征的地理变异符合贝格曼定律,但四肢的形态变化规律不符合阿伦规律,体形较大的扎兰屯种群存在两性异形的形态特征数量少,但差异程度大,与伦施法则不符;(3)雌性是中国林蛙两性中形态特征地理变异最明显的一方,在对寒冷气候的适应过程中,雌性比雄性的体长和体重增加的程度更明显。由此可知,两性间身体大小变化趋势的不一致暗示不同性别的个体适应环境变化的策略可能存在较大差异,这是造成中国林蛙不同种群两性异形和雌体生殖力地理变异的主要原因。  相似文献

为了探明亚洲玉米螟Ostrinia furnacalis (Guenée)不同地理种群对暗期干扰的滞育反应, 本文在研究了亚洲玉米螟南昌种群(28°41′N, 115°53′E)和哈尔滨种群(44°56′N, 127°10′E)光周期反应的基础上, 在室内分别测试了25℃和28℃温度下1 h的光脉冲干扰光周期L9∶D15和L12∶D12对这两个不同地理种群幼虫滞育抑制的影响。结果表明: 在25℃和28℃下, 哈尔滨种群的临界日长分别比南昌种群延长了1 h 40 min和2 h; 在所有测试的暗期干扰实验中, 除了极少数光脉冲干扰点外, 南昌种群幼虫滞育的发生率显著低于哈尔滨种群; 1 h光脉冲干扰光周期L9∶D15的滞育发生率明显低于干扰光周期L12∶D12, 且前者表现了暗期的中间对光脉冲最敏感, 而后者显示了暗期的初期对光脉冲最敏感; 28℃下光脉冲对滞育的抑制效果强于25℃。这些结果进一步提示, 即使在同种昆虫中, 如果地理种群和实验条件不同, 暗期干扰对滞育抑制的效果也可能不同。  相似文献

Abstract  Effects of maize ( Zea mays L.) volatiles induced by larvae of the Asian corn borer, Ostrinia furnacalis (Guenée), on the orientation behaviors of Asian corn borer larvae and oviposition of the females were investigated. Nineteen volatile chemicals, with terpenes being the major components, were identified from maize plants attacked by third instar Asian corn borer larvae. Coupled gas chromatographic-electroantennographic detection (GC-EAD) analyses revealed some electroantennographic differences between female and male Asian corn borer antennae in response to larvae-induced maize volatiles; female responded to ( E )-2-hexenal, nonanal, ( Z )-3-hexen-1-ol and three unknown compounds while the male only responded to ( E )-2-hexenal, nonanal and one unknown compound. In laboratory orientation bioassays, Asian corn borer neonate larvae were attracted to extracts collected from Asian corn borer-damaged plants as well as to synthetic farnesene, but were repelled by ( Z )-3-hexen-1-ol. In laboratory oviposition bioassays, gravid females laid fewer eggs on plants damaged by larvae than on mechanically damaged plants or undamaged plants. Adult Asian corn borer females deposited fewer eggs on wax paper treated with ( E )-2-hexenal or ( Z )-3-hexen-1-ol than on wax paper treated with hexane (control). The results suggest that Asian corn borer can affect the behaviors of conspecific larvae and adults by changing host plant volatiles.  相似文献

Drosophila kikkawai, which has colonized the Indian subcontinent in the recent past, exhibits geographical variations for five quantitative traits among eight Indian populations (8.29–32.7°N). Body weight, wing length, thorax length, abdominal bristles and ovariole number exhibit significant clinal variation with increase in latitude, while sternopleural bristles do not demonstrate such a trend. For the female sex, the slope values for body weight (2.25) and wing length (2.40) are higher but they are lower for thorax length (0.64) and ovariole number (0.51 per degree latitude). There is significant sexual dimorphism for the slope values only for body weight and thorax length suggesting simultaneous action of latitudinal selection pressure on these traits. However, the two sexes do not differ statistically in the latitudinal slope values for the wing length. A regression analysis of different traits on body weight implies correlated selection response on wing length and wing/thorax ratio while thorax length corresponds to changes in body size and does not differ in the two sexes. Regression analysis, on the basis of temperature-related climatic variables, evidence significantly higher association between all the five size-related traits and coefficient of variation of mean annual temperature (seasonal thermal amplitude; T cv), T min and relative humidity. Thus, genetic differentiation for quantitative traits in D. kikkawai are due to selective pressure from variable climatic conditions occurring on the Indian subcontinent.  相似文献

Abstract  The physiological and biochemical characteristics of the diapause larvae of Asian corn borer Ostrinia furnacalis , were investigated. The molecular weight of diapause associated protein in hemolymph was determined. The development of male reproductive system, the body water content, the tolerance to suffocation and the rates of respiration of the diapause and non-diapause larvae were compared. The results revealed that the diapause larvae have the following characteristics: 1. There is a diapause associated protein in heamolymoph; its molecular weights of two polypeptide chains are 72,000 and 84,000 Dal. respectively. 2. The male reproductive organ is underdeveloped. 3. The body water content is lowered. 4. A much higher tolerance to suffocation is exhibited after submergence under water at room temperature. 5. A low rate of respiration prevailed.  相似文献

米螟性诱剂试验、形态鉴定表明 ,陇东发生的玉米螟 ,以亚洲玉米螟OstriniafurnacalisGuenee为优势种 ,也有少量的欧洲玉米螟Ostrinianubialis (H櫣bner)。有效积温计算 ,年发生 1 2 4代 ,其中蛹期3 3d ,产卵前期 7d ,卵期 1 2d ,幼虫期 46d。观察表明陇东玉米螟年发生基本 1代 ,局部 2代。 7月上中旬为蛾量高峰期。阶段性人工饲养表明 ,蛹期 2 1 8d ,产卵前期 2 8d ,卵期 1 0 1d。雌蛾寿命 7 9d ,雄蛾寿命 6 4d。影响发生的重要因素是降水量和天敌。  相似文献

The northern portion of the geographic range of the American eel Anguilla rostrata may contribute a great proportion of the reproductive potential to this panmictic species because of apparent increases in average female size and female percentage with latitude. The regressions of fecundity on body length and on body weight of 63 female eels captured at about 45° N latitude on their spawning migration to the sea were log F= 1·2601 + 2·9642 log L and log F= 4·1646+0·9153 log W , where F is fecundity, L is total length (cm), and W is total weight (g). Length and weight each explained about 90% of the variation in fecundity. Estimates of fecundity from counts of aliquots of eggs ranged from 1·84 million to 19·92 million eggs for eels ranging in length from 45 to 113 cm, nearly the range of sizes of migrating females reported in the literature. Fecundities of the American eel were greater than reported in one study at about 37° N and greater than reported for the European eel, A. anguilla , shortfin eel, A. australis , and longfin eel, A. dieffenbachii . If a geographic cline in fecundity does exist in American eels, it is established anew each generation because the species forms a single panmictic population.  相似文献

The Asian corn borer, Ostrinia furnacalis (Guenée), is the most important insect pest on corn in China. Bt transgenic corn provides a new tool for Asian corn borer control. Monsanto's YieldGard Bt transgenic corn expressing Cry1Ab protein, and a non-Bt control, were evaluated in Beijing. Laboratory bioassays were carried out by exposing neonates to an agar-free diet containing Bt corn whorl leaves, tassels, and anthers, or by exposing neonates directly to fresh silk and pollen. These are the tissues initially attacked by neonates in the field. All of these tissues, with the exception of pollen, contained sufficient insecticidal protein to kill > or = 95% of larvae within 7 d. Surviving larvae had also not grown beyond first instar and weighed < or = 0.1 mg. Although larvae feeding on Bt corn pollen were significantly smaller than those on non-Bt corn pollen, there was no significant difference in mortality. Field trials were also conducted with artificial infestations of Asian corn borer at mid whorl, late whorl, and silking stages. Damage ratings and number of larvae surviving per plant indicated that Bt corn was highly resistant to Asian corn borer. Therefore, YieldGard offers the potential for season-long protection against first- and second-generation Asian corn borer.  相似文献
