A new larval Hauptmannia Oudemans, 1910 and the first record of Abrolophus neobrevicollis Zhang & Goldarazena, 1996 (Acari: Prostigmata: Erythraeidae) from Madeira

Hauptmannia benoni n. sp. (Acari: Prostigmata: Erythraeidae) is described from larvae collected on plants in Madeira. Abrolophus neobrevicollis Zhang & Goldarazena is also reported for the first time in Madeira. A key to the species of larval Hauptmannia with a comb-like palptarsal seta is provided.     

New species and records of mites (Acari: Prostigmata: Erythraeidae,Johnstonianidae, Microtrombidiidae,Trombidiidae) from Moldova and Ukraine

Abrolophus crimensis sp. n., Valgothrombium melindae sp. n. from Ukraine, Moldoustium baltiensis gen. n., sp. n. from Moldova and Ukraine and Podothrombium dbrenitum sp. n. from Moldova are described. Rudaemannia rudaensis (Haitlinger), Trombidium dacicum (Feider) are new for the fauna of Moldova, Grandjeanella multisetosa Zhang et Goldarazena, Leptus (Leptus) trimaculatus (Hermann), Erythraeus (Zaracarus) preciosus Goldarazena et Zhang, E. (E.) kuyperi (Oudemans), Balaustium nikae Haitlinger, Johnstoniana eximia (Berlese) are new to the fauna of Ukraine, Hauptmannia brevicollis Oudemans, H. wratislaviensis Haitlinger, Abrolophus pseudolongicollis kiejstuti Haitlinger, Charletonia krendowskyi (Feider), Allothrombium fuliginosum (Hermann), A. triticium Zhang, Trombidium holosericeum (L.) and Podothrombium proti Haitlinger are new to the fauna of Moldova and Ukraine. The following new synonyms and new combination are proposed: Canpicatrombium Haitlinger, 2003 syn. n. = Valgothrombium Willmann, 1940, Leptus (Leptus) echinopus Beron, 1975 syn. n. = L. (L.) trimaculatus (Hermann, 1804), Valgothrombium mallorcensis (Haitlinger, 2003) comb. n., Podothrombium proti Haitlinger, 1994 is not synonym of P. filipes (C.-L. Koch, 1837).     

A new genus and species of larval mite (Acari: Prostigmata: Microtrombidiidae) parasitising Orthoptera (Tettigoniidae) from the Sierra Nevada, Spain

Nevada capileirarum n. g., n. sp. (Acari: Microtrombidiidae: Microtrombidiinae) is described from ectoparasitic larvae parasitising two endemic species of Orthoptera (Tettigoniidae), Baetica ustulata (Rambur) and Pycnogaster inermis (Rambur) from the Sierra Nevada mountain range, Granada, Spain. A key to the larvae of microtrombidiine genera with three dorsal scuta and a coxal setal formula of 2-1-1 is presented.     

Two new species of Eutrombidium Verdun, 1909 (Acari: Prostigmata: Eutrombidiidae) from Asia and a new host record for this genus

Two new species of larval mites are described Eutrombidium laosanum n. sp. ectoparasitic on undetermined Gryllidae (Orthoptera) from Laos and Indonesia (Lingga Islands) and E. sigirijanum n. sp. ectoparasitic on undetermined Tenebrionidae (Coleoptera) from Sri Lanka.     

A new species of larval Dasitrombium Zhang, 1994 (Acari: Prostigmata: Neothrombiidae) parasitic on grasshoppers fom Nicaragua

A new species of larval neothrombids, Dasitrombium clarissae (Acari: Prostigmata: Neothrombiidae), parasitic on grasshoppers from Nicaragua is described. Larvae have the following diagnostic features: Ta I 110–114, Ti I 48–52, Ta II 102–106, Ti II 44–48, Ip 1020–1054, ratio L/W 1.29–1.40, and the presence on genu I of only two solenidia.     

A new species and a new record of Nycteridopsylla Oudemans, 1906 (Siphonaptera: Ischnopsyllidae) from China

A new species, Nycteridopsylla quadrispina, found on the vespertilionid bat Ia io, is described from China. N. iae Beaucournu & Kock, 1992, a new record for China, was also found on the same host. The new species is distinguished by the presence of four spines on the genal comb and by the shape and chaetotaxy of the head.     

A new genus and four new species of quill mites (Acari: Prostigmata: Syringophiudae) from phasianid birds (Galuformes: Phasianidae)

A new genus and four new species of the quill mites are described. Galliphilopsis gen. n. (G. francolinus sp. n., type species) differs from the closely related Dissonus Skoracki, 1999 by loss of leg setae dGII, the slightly divergent tips of epimeres I and the stylophore constricted posteriorly. Three new species of the genus Galliphilopsis gen. n. and one new species of the genus Mironovia Chirov and Kravtsova, 1995 are described from galliform birds (Phasianidae) collected at the Museum of Natural History, Wroclaw University (Poland): G. lophurus sp. n. from Lophura leucomelanos, G. bochkovi sp. n. from Tragopan sp. and Alectoris barbara, G. francolinus sp. n. from Francolinus levalliantoides, and Mironovia rouloul sp. n. from Rollulus rouloul.     

中国四川花蝇科三新种及一新记录种(双翅目:蝇总科)

报道采自中国四川西部花蝇科(Anthomyiidae)3新种:隰蝇属的乌亮隰蝇(Hydrophoria nigrinitidaFeng,sp.nov.);壮叶隰蝇(H.robustisurstylusFeng,sp.nov.);泉蝇属的黑前足泉蝇(Pegomya nigripraepedaFeng,sp.nov.)。模式标本存在中国科学院上海生命科学研究院植物生理生态研究所。同时记录泉蝇属(PegomyaRob ineau-Desvoidy,1830)的一中国新记录种:丽足泉蝇[Pegomya pulchripes(Loew,1857)]。     

New species and new record of Tetranychus Dufour from Australia, with a key to the major groups in this genus based on females (Acari: Prostigmata: Tetranychidae)

A new species of spider mite, Tetranychus bunda sp. n., is described and illustrated from Australia. It was found damaging the foliage of Desmodium tortuosum (Sw.) DC. (Fabaceae) in Darwin, Northern Territory. In addition, the geographical range of Tetranychus fijiensis Hirst is extended to include Australia. This species was found in the Northern Territory feeding on frangipani ( Plumeria sp., Apocynaceae), betel palm ( Areca catechu L., Arecaceae) and Macarthur feather palm ( Ptychosperma macarthurii [H. Wendl. ex Veitch] (H. Wendl. ex Hook. f., Arecaceae)). Details of the biology of T. bunda sp. n. and T. fijiensis are given. A key to the major groups of Tetranychus Dufour of the world, based on females, is presented and species known to occur in Australia are outlined.     

A new genus, two new species and a new record of subfamily Cecidophyinae (Acari, Eriophyidae) from China

A new genus and two new species belonging to subfamily Cecidophyinae, namely Kyllocarus reticulatusgen.n., sp. n. infesting Lithocarpus brevicaudatus (Skan) Hay. (Fagaceae) and Gammaphytoptus schimaesp. n.infesting Schima superba Gardn. et Champ. (Theaceae) are described and illustrated. Both new species are vagrants on their respective host plants. Cecidophyes digephyrusKeifer, 1966 is newly recorded for China.     

Three new species from the subfamily Phyllocoptinae (Acari,Trombidiformes, Eriophyidae) in Iran

Three new eriophyid species (Phyllocoptinae), Shevtchenkella denticulata sp. n., Notallus pestehae sp. n. and Echinacrus ruthenicus sp. n., were described from Eryngium thyrsoideum Boiss. (Apiaceae), Pistacia vera L. (Anacardiaceae) and Lycium ruthenicum Murray (Solanaceae), respectively. All the three new species were collected from southwest of the East Azerbaijan province, Iran in 2011. It is the first record of an eriophyoid mite collected from E. thyrsoideum and L. ruthenicum and the first record of Notallus from Anacardiaceae plant family.     

Three new species of Antricola (Acari: Argasidae) from Brazil, with a key to the known species in the genus

Three new species of Antricola (Acari: Argasidae) are described from adult specimens collected on bat guano in different caves in Brazil. The female of Antricola guglielmonei n. sp. is easily determined by the presence of 2 smooth, depressed areas lacking setae in the posterolateral portions of the dorsum of the idiosoma, together with the partial fusion of the tubercles in the anteromedian portion of the idiosoma. The male of this species has a small spiracular plate surrounded by a pattern of tubercles disposed concentrically in its dorsal portion. Both sexes have cervical grooves very slightly marked. Antricola delacruzi n. sp. represents the only Antricola species with the dorsum of the idiosoma devoid of tubercles in both sexes and with scarce and minute setae placed over the smooth cuticle. The female of A. inexpectata n. sp. is known only from a few specimens. In this species, lines of smooth cuticle lacking setae separate the tubercles of the dorsum. In addition, there are 3 clumps of plumose setae close to the spiracular plate, in the ventrolateral portions of the idiosoma, in 3 well-delimited regions over cuticular thickenings. These 3 species share the peculiarity of a Haller's organ with the anterior pit bearing only 7 + 2 setae. The collection of these new species in Brazilian caves greatly expands the known range of the genus. A key to the adults of all known species of the genus is provided.     

Three new rotundabaloghid mites (Acari,Uropodina) from Sabah (Malaysia)

Three new species of the family Rotundabaloghiidae are discovered and described from Sabah, Malaysia. The unusual Angulobaloghia rutra sp. n. differs from the other known Angulobaloghia Hirschmann, 1979 species in the long anterior process of the female’s genital shield. Rotundabaloghia (Circobaloghia) tobiasi sp. n. has very long and apically pilose dorsal setae and two pairs of bulbiform setae, which are unique in the subgenus Rotundabaloghia (Circobaloghia) Hirschmann, 1975. The long, serrate and curved setae in the big ventral cavity of Depressorotunda (Depressorotunda) serrata sp. n. is a so far unknown character in the subgenus Depressorotunda (Depressorotunda) Kontschán, 2010.

记述采自江西的缝颚螨属1新种,洪城缝颚螨Raphignathus hongchengensis sp.nov.。
