肿柄菊 Tithonia diversifolia (Hemsl.) A.Gray 原产墨西哥及中美洲,被作为观赏及绿肥植物引入我国各地栽培.引入云南栽培的肿柄菊于20世纪30年代在云南南部逃逸生长,现在云南的热带、南亚热带和中亚热带地区形成危害.为了查明肿柄菊的扩散特点和入侵潜能,对选取的5个不同地理气候条件下的肿柄菊居群的果序直径、每序结实量、结籽率、千粒重、种子大小(长和宽)等6个指标进行统计分析.结果表明,6个生物学指标在5个居群间都具有极显著差异(p<0.01),并随着居群间地理气候条件差异的增大,这6个指标值在居群间的差异也有增大趋势.对新鲜采集的不同居群种子在15、20、25、30、35℃下做萌发实验,结果显示在前4种温度条件下5个居群间的种子萌发率有极显著差异(p<0.01),在35℃下萌发率有显著差异(p<0.05),并且5个居群的种子最高萌发率不相同且差异极显著(p<0.01).分析对比作者以往对肿柄菊群落特征和克隆繁殖特性的研究结果认为,虽然肿柄菊在不同的地理气候条件下有性繁殖特性有较大差异,但群落结构差异不大,危害程度表现相似;由于肿柄菊有性繁殖和克隆繁殖的协同作用,使其通过人为引种、道路交通、水流等传播到新的地域后,极易建立新种群,并形成单优种群落而不断侵占和统治新的领地.  相似文献

入侵植物剑叶金鸡菊克隆繁殖特性及群落特征   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1  
以江西庐山剑叶金鸡菊(Coreopsis lanceolata)入侵群落为研究对象,调查了不同生境剑叶金鸡菊的克隆繁殖特性和群落特征。结果表明,生境资源水平高低对剑叶金鸡菊的克隆构型影响不显著,无论是资源贫乏的岩石还是资源丰富的弃耕地生境,剑叶金鸡菊依靠植株基部节处萌生的小芽体生长成密集丛生状,其游击型克隆构型变化与环境资源可利用水平高低无关。剑叶金鸡菊种群的伴生植物多为一些适应范围广的杂草,由于剑叶金鸡菊的密集型克隆生长的集团化生长策略,使其种群耐贫瘠和干旱能力非常强,因而适应不同生境的能力也非常强,这种生长策略使剑叶金鸡菊个体能快速扩增并排挤本土植物,〖JP〗形成大面积的单一优势种群影响当地的生物多样性。  相似文献

外来入侵植物肿柄菊在云南的分布特征及其影响因素   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1  
公路网是外来入侵植物肿柄菊(Tithonia diversifolia)进行远距离传播的主要途径,近些年肿柄菊在云南表现出迅速的扩散态势和较强的入侵能力。为探讨肿柄菊沿公路进行扩散过程中各种环境因素对群落建立的影响,本研究通过大范围沿公路实地调查,分析肿柄菊的扩散和分布特征及其影响因素。结果表明:肿柄菊分布于云南省北热带、南亚热带、中亚热带和北亚热带等多种气候类型区,分布区覆盖云南省71个县(区),与10多年前相比肿柄菊有明显的向北和向高海拔扩散趋势。肿柄菊向更高纬度和海拔扩散过程中,气候因素对群落分布有一定影响;在较低纬度和海拔区域肿柄菊的分布主要受人为干扰的影响。不同路缘生境类型影响肿柄菊沿公路扩散范围,植被郁闭度较低的草地、经济林地、农田等生境有利于群落的建立;而植被郁闭度较高原始林地和次生林地不利于群落建立。公路在肿柄菊的远距离扩散过程中起着重要作用,车流量大、车速高的高等级公路更有利于肿柄菊扩散,云南密集的高速公路网促进了肿柄菊沿公路扩散效率,加速了肿柄菊侵占新领地的过程。随着公路交通的快速发展,肿柄菊的扩散速度也明显加快,今后应对其种群发展趋势进行跟踪监测,以期为肿柄菊入侵预警提供基础信息。  相似文献

外来入侵植物肿柄菊(Tithonia diversifolia)对入侵地的生态环境造成严重危害, 为明确肿柄菊叶片凋落物的化感作用, 研究不同浓度肿柄菊叶片凋落物水提液对黑麦草(Lolium perenne)、高羊茅(Festuca elata)和高丹草(Sorghum sudanense)幼苗生长的影响, 同时结合盆栽试验研究了肿柄菊叶片凋落物在入侵地土壤中的化感作用。结果表明, 肿柄菊凋落物水提液对3 种受体植物的生长具有显著地化感作用, 低浓度水提液对3 种受体植物的幼苗生长有显著促进作用, 而随着水提液浓度的增加则表现为抑制作用。当水提液浓度为0.1 g·mL–1 时, 肿柄菊对高丹草幼苗根长和黑麦草幼苗茎高的抑制作用最强, 化感效应指数分别为–52.2%和–33.9%。同时, 肿柄菊凋落物与土壤混合比例为30 g·kg–1 和50 g·kg–1 时可显著减低3 种受体植物的生物量, 进一步证实肿柄菊叶片凋落物在土壤中的化感抑制作用。研究表明, 肿柄菊可通过其叶片凋落物在入侵地土壤中分解, 释放化感物质, 从而抑制邻近植物的生长, 为其进一步入侵创造有利的生长环境。  相似文献

预测外来入侵植物的潜在入侵范围以及对不同环境的适应性,能够为外来植物入侵提供预警和预防。该文通过实地调查肿柄菊(Tithonia diversifolia)在云南的入侵范围,以及收集世界其他地区分布点,结合12个关键环境变量,利用MaxEnt模型对肿柄菊适生区范围和环境限制因子进行分析。结果表明:在世界范围适生区分布格局中,肿柄菊在云南无高适生区,次适生区总面积占全省总面积的3.58%,中适生区占32.90%,低适生区占42.80%,非适生区占20.72%;有扩散风险的区域主要为中适生区,普遍分布于云南省26°N以南地区;实地调查肿柄菊分布最高海拔2 200 m,在海拔1 000~1 500 m分布最为密集,而模型预测显示海拔2 000 m以下都适宜肿柄菊生长,且500~2 000 m为最适宜海拔范围;在12个环境变量中年降雨量、人类足迹、年均温、海拔等环境变量对肿柄菊的分布起到了最重要的作用。综上结果表明,目前在云南肿柄菊零星的分布点已到达其潜在分布区的边缘,但已入侵区域还远小于潜在可入侵区域。为了预防肿柄菊在我国南方地区大面积扩散带来危害,有必要对其入侵和扩散态势进行监测。  相似文献

采用水蒸气蒸馏法提取肿柄菊地上部分的挥发油,利用GC-MS技术对肿柄菊地上部分的挥发油进行分析,以假臭草、巴西含羞草、含羞草、蝶豆和鬼针草5种肿柄菊伴生植物为供试植物,用半密闭容器法对肿柄菊挥发油的化感效应进行生物测定。GC-MS分析结果显示,从肿柄菊挥发油中鉴定出50个化合物,占总出峰面积的94.79%,肿柄菊挥发油中主要含有α-蒎烯(63.81%)、柠檬烯(7.07%)、β-石竹烯(4.85%)、双环大香烯(2.95%)、香桧烯(2.78%)、斯巴醇(2.70%)等萜类和醇类化合物,占挥发油总量的94.15%,其中萜类化合物含量占总挥发油的86.01%。生测结果显示,肿柄菊挥发油对5种受试植物的种子萌发和幼苗生长均产生抑制作用,其中对巴西含羞草的抑制作用最为显著,而对含羞草和蝶豆影响较小。说明肿柄菊挥发油在其入侵扩散中发挥一定的化感作用。  相似文献

在森林树木受到人为或自然破坏以后,残留植物体的萌生是一个普遍存在的现象。据Kauffman〔1〕和Khan〔2〕等人在热带地区的研究,通过萌生形成的植株与通过种子萌发形成的植株相比,前者具有更快的生长速度,而且通过其原有的强大根系,能更有效地利用土壤中的养分资源,同时对环境也具有更强的适应能力。这些都构成了萌生植株在生长上的优势,使其在种群竞争中处于有利的地位。由此可见,萌生过程在植被恢复和自然更新中起到了重要的作用。近年来,关于植被萌生的研究在国外已得到越来越多的重视〔3~8〕,而在国内至今还未见到这方面的正式报道。…  相似文献

Examining how both climate and species distribution patterns correlate with leaf morphology can give insights into the ecological and evolutionary patterns that drive adaptive selection of leaf form and function. Drip-tips are a common feature of leaves in rain forest tree species; they are thought to be an adaptation that aids leaf drying and maximizes photosynthesis in areas with high-rainfall climates. We tested whether this macroecological pattern holds true across the precipitation gradients in a non-rain forest region—the woodland savannas of Brazil known as the Cerrado—and compared our results with previous studies from Amazonia. Drip-tips were, as expected, less common overall in the drier Cerrado than in Amazonia. In addition, within the Cerrado, drip-tips were more prevalent in areas with higher rainfall as well as in Cerrado sites that were closer to Amazonia. Moreover, species that occurred across both the Cerrado and Amazonia had drip-tips more often than species that were found only in the Cerrado. These findings support the hypothesis that drip-tips are adaptive and that either the cost of retaining drip-tips is low or that in drier regions they have other benefits.  相似文献

Abstract. 1. The hypotheses that genetic variation in host plant resistance of the arroyo willow affected leaf folder ( Phyllocolpa sp.) (Hymenoptera: Tenthredinidae) density and that genetic variation in shoot length and leaf length was correlated with resistance were tested.
2. Willows grown in pots and exposed to ovipojsition by the leaf folding sawfly in cages had significantly different densities among clones, indicating variation in resistance caused by genetic differences among conspecific host plants.
3. There was a general correspondence between leaf folder density on potted cuttings and on the plants in the field that were the sources of cuttings.
4. In behavioural choice experiments, susceptible clones (with highest leaf fold densities) had the highest oviposition activity of female leaf folders compared to clones that were resistant to the leaf folder.
5. Clones differed significantly in shoot length and leaf length among clones grown in pots, among clones in the field, and between shoots with galls and shoots without galls on clones in the field.
6. Leaf folder density was significantly positively correlated with mean shoot length on field clones in 1985 and 1986, but was not correlated with leaf length, although leaf length and shoot length were correlated.
7. Leaf length variation among willow clones accounted for a significant portion of the variation in resistance of potted willows, but shoot length was unimportant.  相似文献

基于文献与标本的研究, 本文重新梳理和考证了中国植物采集先行者钟观光先生的采集历史。钟观光是我国第一个进行大规模植物标本采集的学者, 已知其最早的标本采自1912年(采集于北京), 最晚的是1933年(采集于浙江)。目前能够确定的钟观光采集的馆藏标本计10,228份, 其中大部分保存于北京大学生物系植物标本室(PEY, 4,584份)、中国科学院植物研究所植物标本馆(PE, 2,966份)和北京师范大学生命科学学院植物标本室(BNU, 2,032份), 共计9,582份, 约占钟观光馆藏标本总数的93.7%。英国皇家植物园邱园植物标本馆、爱丁堡植物园标本馆、美国哈佛大学植物标本馆等亦存有少量钟观光采集的标本(16份)。  相似文献

Telomeres, the complex nucleoprotein structures at the ends of linear eukaryotic chromosomes, along with telomerase, the enzyme that synthesizes telomeric DNA, are required to maintain a stable genome. Together, the enzyme and substrate perform this essential service by protecting chromosomes from exonucleolytic degradation and end-to-end fusions and by compensating for the inability of conventional DNA replication machinery to completely duplicate the ends of linear chromosomes. Telomeres are also important for chromosome organization within the nucleus, especially during mitosis and meiosis. The contributions of telomeres and telomerases to plant genome stability have been confirmed by analysis of Arabidopsis mutants that lack telomerase activity. These mutants have unstable genomes, but manage to survive up to ten generations with increasingly shortened telomeres and cytogenetic abnormalities. Comparisons between telomerase-deficient Arabidopsis and telomerase-deficient mice reveal distinct differences in the consequences of massive genome damage, probably reflecting the greater developmental and genomic plasticity of plants.  相似文献

Herbivory is a major energy transfer within ecosystems; an open question is under what circumstances it can stimulate aboveground seasonal primary production. Despite multiple field demonstrations, past theory considered herbivory as a continuous process and found stimulation of seasonal production to be unlikely. Here, we report a new theoretical model that explores the consequences of discrete herbivory events, or episodes, separated in time. We discovered that negative density (biomass) dependence of plant growth, such as might be expected from resource limitation of plant growth, favors stimulation of seasonal production by infrequent herbivory events under a wide range of herbivory intensities and maximum plant relative growth rates. Results converge to those of previous models under repeated, short‐interval herbivory, which generally reduces seasonal production. Model parameters were estimated with new and previous data from the Serengeti ecosystem. Patterns of observed frequent and large magnitude stimulated production in these data agreed generally with those predicted by the episodic herbivory model. The model thus may provide a new framework for evaluating the sustainability and impact of herbivory.  相似文献

We present a study of habitat use, oviposition plant choice, and food plant suitability for the checkerspot butterfly Melitaea athalia Rottemburg (Lepidoptera: Nymphalidae) in Åland, Finland. We found that in Åland, unlike in the mainland of Finland and many parts of its range, M. athalia flies mainly in open meadows. When offered an array of plants in a large (32 × 26 m) field cage, they predominately oviposited upon Veronica chamaedrys L., V. spicata L. and Plantago lanceolata L. (Plantaginaceae), which grow in open meadows. The relative abundance of the butterfly in Åland, and its habitat and host plant use there, may reflect local adaptation to land use practices and geology that maintain clusters of small open meadows with little successional change. At the scale of a plant patch, preferred species were used as frequently in mixed species patches as in mono-specific patches, and more oviposition occurred in open than in grassy patches. All of the host plants used by M. athalia are defended by iridoid glycosides (IGs). However, oviposition choice among species and among individual plants within species was largely independent of IG concentration. This contrast with the more discerning congener, M. cinxia, supports the idea that host discrimination decreases with increasing host range. Finally, although the adult butterflies chose specific plant species for oviposition, as larvae they performed well on twelve out of thirteen species of plants, including both known hosts and related novel plants that occur in Åland, indicating a much wider range of larval food plant species than adult oviposition species.  相似文献

A total of 41 stands was sampled for species composition and 29 of these stands for plant standing crop and net annual production at 7 sites on 6 arctic islands. Fourteen additional sites on 10 islands were studied in less detail.
Through polar ordination, three groupings were recognized: polar barrens with an average species richness of 6, a phytomass of 24 g m−2, and a net annual production of 0.8 g m−2. Comparable data for the cushion plant and snowflush communities were 9, 120, 3 and 13 species, 400 g m−2, phytomass and 41 g m−2 net production respectively. Cryptogams are minor except within showflush communities.
The soils show no horizon development, arc alkaline, and are very tow in organic matter, nitrogen, and phosphorus. It is believed that the combination of limited soil moisture in mid-summer and very low nutrient levels are the primary reason for such low plant cover and plant production in these predominantly polar barren landscapes. Geologic substrate with an abundance of frost-shattered rock and topographic position are factors that control the limited availability of water.  相似文献
