为探讨维生素E(VE)对中华鳖(Pelodiscus sinensis)幼鳖的生长、肝脏VE和血清皮质醇的影响,通过特定生长率、高压液相色谱法和放免法,我们测定了中华鳖幼鳖的生长、肝脏VE和血清皮质醇含量。发现VE添加量为1000和5000mg/kg的两组,能明显降低中华鳖幼鳖的生长。维生素E添加量为500、1000和5000mg/kg的三组,肝脏维生素E含量明显高于对照组,VE添加量在0—1000mg/kg的范围时,肝脏VE的含量随着饲料中VE含量的增加呈指数式增加,并且在VE添加量为5000kg/kg的一组基本达到饱和。维生素E添加量为0和50mg/kg的2组,其血清皮质醇的平均值明显高于维生素E添加量为250、500、1000和5000mg/kg的4组的平均值。上述结果表明:高剂量的VE降低了中华鳖幼鳖的生长和血清皮质醇的含量;在一定剂量范围内,肝脏VE随着饲料中VE含量的增加而升高。  相似文献

维生素C和酸应激对中华鳖幼鳖血清补体C3和C4含量的影响   总被引:12,自引:0,他引:12  
为研究维生素C对中华鳖(Pelodiscus sinensis)血清补体C3和C4的影响及其在酸应激条件下的变化,我们设置了6个实验组,饵料中维生素C的添加量依次为0、250、500、2500、5000和10000mg/kg,喂食4周后取其血清,用透射比浊法测定酸应激前后中华鳖血清补体C3和C4的含量。结果表明,维生素C添加量为250mg/kg时,血清补体C3的含量与对照组间没有明显不同;维生素C添加量为500、2500、5000和10000mg/kg的4组,血清补体C3的含量明显高于对照组和维生素C添加量为250mg/kg组;维生素C添加量为500mg/kg的一组,血清补体CA含量明显高于其它5组;维生素C添加量为250mg/kg组明显高于10000mg/kg组。酸应激后,补体C3的含量没有明显下降,将维生素C添加量为0、250和500mg/kg的三组并为一组处理,则应激后有明显下降。维生素C添加量为0、250和500mg/kg的3组,血清补体CA的含量在酸应激后明显下降,而维生素C添加量为2500、5000和10000mg/kg的3组,应激后血清补体C4没有明显变化。维生素C和酸应激对中华鳖血清补体C3和CA含量的影响没有交互作用。这说明,维生素C在一定剂量范围内,能提高中华鳖血清补体C3和CA的水平,酸应激能导致其含量降低,而高剂量的维生素C对其下降有颉颃作用[动物学报49(6):769~774,2003]。  相似文献

The study was conducted to determine the effect of supplementation vitamin C in dietary non-specific immunity in juvenile soft-shelled turtles. The soft-shelled turtles were fed with vitamin C supplementation at dosages of 0, 250, 500, 2500, 5000 and 10000 mg/kg diets, respectively, for 4 weeks. The results showed that there were no differences in the phagocytosis of blood cells, serum bacteriolytic activity and bactericidal activity among soft-shelled turtles fed with vitamin C supplementation in 0-500 mg/kg diets. However, firm indicators were significantly enhanced in soft-shelled turtles fed with vitamin C supplementation at 2500 mg/kg diets compared with those fed at 0 and 250 mg/kg diets. The soft-shelled turtles fed with 5000 mg/kg diets had only significantly higher bactericidal activity than those fed vitamin C-deficient diets. The vitamin C supplementation in 10000 mg/kg diets had no notable effects on the phagocytosis, bacteriolytic activity and bactericidal activity. These results suggest that vitamin C seems have an upper and lower threshold for improving non-specific immune function, and the optimum dose was 2500 mg/kg.  相似文献

This study investigated the effect of high‐dose vitamin C supplementation on growth, tissue ascorbic acid concentrations and physiological response to transportation stress in juvenile silver pomfret, Pampus argenteus (initial average weight 6.2 ± 0.2 g). Three practical diets were formulated to contain 100 (control), 450 and 800 mg ascorbic acid/kg diet, respectively, supplied as l‐ascorbyl‐2‐polyphosphate. Each diet was fed to triplicate groups of fish in circular tanks (3 m ø, 1.5 m depth) (60 fish/tank) for 9 weeks. Growth did not change significantly with dietary vitamin C levels, although an improvement tendency with an increase in vitamin C supplementation was observed. Ascorbic acid concentrations in the liver and muscle of fish fed diets containing graded levels of vitamin C were positively correlated with dietary levels of this vitamin. Tissue ascorbic acid concentrations significantly increased with increasing vitamin C supplementation. After 9 weeks, the fish were subjected to transportation stress for 4 h to determine the influence of high vitamin C supplementation on the physiological response to this stressor. Serum cortisol, glucose and lactate levels significantly increased in stressed fish. Serum cortisol and glucose concentrations after stress were significantly higher in fish fed the control diet (7.91 μg L?1 and 0.80 mm , respectively) than in the other groups. However, there were no significant differences in serum cortisol and glucose levels after stress between the 450 and 800 mg kg?1 diets. No significant change could be found in serum lactate levels after stress among the different treatments. In conclusion, the dietary administration of high doses of vitamin C could reduce stress in silver pomfret and increase the survival of fish under stress conditions.  相似文献

This study was conducted to evaluate the effects of dietary vitamin C on growth performance, hematologic parameters and innate immune responses in juvenile cobia, Rachycentron canadum. Seven practical diets were formulated to contain 0.0 (as the basal diet), 13.6, 27.2, 54.4, 96.6, 193.4 and 386.5 mg ascorbic acid equivalent kg(-1) diet. Each diet was fed to triplicate groups of juvenile cobia with initial body weight of 5.5 g in 500-L cylindrical fiberglass tank. The results of 8 weeks feeding trial showed that typical vitamin C-deficient signs such as spinal deformation and body nigrescence were observed in the fish fed the basal diet. Fish fed the basal diet had significantly lower weight gain, specific growth rate (SGR), protein efficiency ratio (PER) and feed efficiency (FE) than those fed the diets supplemented with vitamin C, but no significant differences were observed among diets supplemented with vitamin C. However, survival rate was significantly affected by the dietary vitamin C levels, fish fed the basal diet had lower survival rate than those fed the diets supplemented with vitamin C. The ascorbic acid concentration in liver was correlated positively with the dietary vitamin C levels, however, the thiobarbituric acid reactive substances (TBARS) concentrations in liver was not significantly affected by the dietary vitamin C levels, although, fish fed the basal diet had the highest TBARS values among all treatments. The activities of serum lysozyme, superoxide dismutase (SOD), alkaline phophatase (AKP) and total immunoglobulin (Ig) were significantly influenced by the dietary vitamin C levels, fish fed the basal diet had lower lysozyme, SOD, AKP and total Ig than those fed diets supplemented with vitamin C. The serum glucose and triglyceride concentrations were significantly affected by the dietary vitamin C levels. Fish fed the basal diet had lower red blood cell and hemoglobin values than those fed the vitamin C supplemented diets. The challenge experiment with Vibrio harveyi showed that lower cumulative survival was in fish fed the unsupplemented diet, the cumulative survival were significantly increased with increase of the dietary ascorbic acid levels from 13.6 to 96.6 mg kg(-1), while the cumulative survival reached plateau when dietary ascorbic acid levels increased from 96.6 to 386.5 mg kg(-1). These results indicated that dietary vitamin C did significantly influence on growth performance and immune response of juvenile cobia.  相似文献

In order to determine the effect of dietary vitamin E level and basal diet on vitamin E status, performance and tissue fatty acid content, five groups of eight Suffolk × Charollais wether lambs with an initial live weight of 28.4 (s.d. 1.6) kg were allocated to one of five concentrate-based diets supplemented with all-rac-α-tocopheryl acetate to contain 30 mg (C-30), 60 mg (C-60), 120 mg (C-120), 250 mg (C-250) or 500 mg (C-500) α-tocopheryl acetate/kg dry matter (DM), for 63 days. Two additional groups of eight lambs entered the study at 31.2 (s.d. 3.3) kg and were fed grass silage and 400 g/day concentrate for 56 days, with the whole diet providing the equivalent of 60 mg (S-60) or 500 mg (S-500) α-tocopheryl acetate/kg DM. Lambs were weighed and blood samples obtained by venipuncture weekly. Dietary vitamin E level did not affect performance (P > 0.05), but lambs fed grass silage grew more slowly (P < 0.001) and had a higher (P < 0.001) feed conversion ratio (kg feed/kg gain) than those fed concentrates. At day 0 plasma α-tocopherol concentrations were 0.8 μg/ml and did not differ between treatments (P > 0.05). Plasma α-tocopherol concentrations then decreased in all lambs except for those fed S-500, which increased, and at slaughter were (μg/ml) 0.07, 0.23, 0.39, 0.76 and 1.57 in C-30, C-60, C-120, C-250 and C-500 and 1.18 and 1.93 in S-60 and S-500, respectively. At slaughter, muscle and liver α-tocopherol concentrations were in the deficiency range for lambs fed C-30, C-60 or C-120, whereas plasma creatine kinase and tissue polyunsaturated fatty acids were unaffected by dietary vitamin E level, but creatine kinase levels were higher (P < 0.05) and glutathione peroxidise levels lower (P < 0.001) in lambs fed grass silage than concentrates alone. Muscle and liver α-tocopherol concentrations were 1.8- and 4.1-fold higher in lambs fed S-60 than C-60, but there was less of a difference between lambs fed S-500 or C-500 with muscle and liver differences of 0.4- and 0.7-fold, respectively. Tissue n-3 polyunsaturated fatty acid concentrations were higher (P < 0.05) and n-6 fatty acids lower in lambs receiving the grass silage compared to concentrate-based diets, but were not affected by dietary vitamin E level. It is concluded that lower plasma and tissue levels of α-tocopherol are present in lambs supplemented with all-rac-α-tocopheryl acetate on a concentrate compared to a mixed diet of silage and concentrates, and that normal growth can be achieved at tissue levels previously considered to represent deficiency.  相似文献

以不同水平维生素C 2 磷酸酯 (添加量分别为 0、75、15 0、30 0和 6 0 0mg/kg)的饲料喂养凡纳滨对虾 10周 ,研究维生素C 2 磷酸酯对凡纳滨对虾生长及抗病力的影响。结果显示 :在养殖前 4周 ,饲料中添加维生素C 2 磷酸酯显著促进凡纳滨对虾的生长 ,然而对对虾的成活以及饲料利用不产生影响 (P >0 0 5 ) ;而到实验后期添加维生素C 2 磷酸酯不能促进凡纳滨对虾的生长 ,却显著提高凡纳滨对虾的成活率 (P <0 0 5 )。维生素C 2 磷酸酯对对虾体水分、脂肪、蛋白质和维生素C在肝胰脏中的积累量的影响显著 (P <0 0 5 ) ,对对虾体灰分影响不显著 (P >0 0 5 )。维生素C 2 磷酸酯对对虾血清中超氧化物歧化酶活力无显著影响 ,饲料中未添加维生素C或过量添加 (超过 30 0mg/kg饲料 )均导致血清中酚氧化酶活力、血细胞总数和溶菌酶活力的显著下降。以生长、成活和酚氧化酶活力为指标 ,饲料中维生素C 2 磷酸酯的适宜添加量为 15 0mg/kg。  相似文献

Guinea pigs were fed for five weeks with two diets with different levels of vitamin C, low (33 mg of Vit C/Kg diet) and high (13,200 mg of Vit C/Kg of diet). Catalase was inhibited with 3-amino-1,2,4-triazole (AT) in half of the animals from each dietary group. AT caused an almost complete depletion of liver catalase activity (90%) in both dietary groups. Vitamin C supplementation increased total glutathione peroxidase activity and tissue vitamin C level and decreased levels of protein carbonyls and malondialdehyde (MDA) in both treated and non-treated animals. This vitamin C supplementation did not change any of the other antioxidant defences studied. Our results show that dietary vitamin C supplementation increases global antioxidant capacity and decreases endogenous oxidative damage in the guinea pig liver under normal non-stressful conditions. This supports the protective value of dietary antioxidant supplementation.  相似文献

To investigate the influence and possible interactions of dietary vitamin E and C supplementation on vitamin content of both vitamins and oxidative stability of different pork tissues 40 Large White barrows from 25 kg to 106 kg were allocated to four different cereal based diets: Basal diet (B), dl-alpha-tocopherylacetate + 200 mg/kg (E), crystalline ascorbic acid + 300 mg/kg (C) or both vitamins (EC). At slaughtering samples of liver, spleen, heart, kidney, backfat outer layer, ham and M. tongissimus dorsi were obtained. Growth performance of the pigs and carcass characteristics were not influenced by feeding treatments. Dietary vitamin E supplementation had a significant effect on the vitamin E and alpha-tocopherol concentration in all investigated tissues. Backfat outer layer, liver, spleen, kidney and heart had higher vitamin E concentrations than ham and M. longissimus dorsi. Dietary vitamin C supplementation tended towards enhanced vitamin E levels except for ham samples. Therefore, some synergistic actions without dietary vitamin E supplementation between the two vitamins could be shown. The vitamin C concentration and TBARS were increased or at least equal in all tissues due to vitamin C supplementation. Dietary alpha-tocopherol supplementation resulted in lower TBARS in backfat outer layer (malondialdehyde 0.35 mg/kg in B vs. 0.28 mg/kg in E), but increased in heart and ham. When both vitamins were supplemented (EC) TBARS were lower in M. longissimus dorsi and backfat outer layer, equal in heart and higher in liver and ham compared to a single vitamin C supplementation. Rancimat induction time of backfat outer layer was 0.3 h higher in C compared to B and 0.17 h higher in EC than in E. Correlations between levels of both vitamins were positive for kidney (r = 0.169), M. longissimus dorsi (r = 0.499) and ham (r = 0.361) and negative for heart (r = -0.350). In liver and spleen no interaction could be found. In backfat outer layer vitamin E was positively correlated with rancimat induction time (r = 0.550) and negatively with TBARS (r = -0.202), but provided no evidence that dietary vitamin E supply led to better oxidative stability.  相似文献

This study was conducted to determine the effects of vitamin C (L-ascorbic acid) and vitamin E (alpha-tocopherol acetate) on serum concentrations of lipid peroxidation (MDA) and triiodothyronine (T3), thyroxine (T4), adrenocorticotropic hormone (ACTH), and some metabolite and mineral in laying hens reared at high ambient temperatures ranging from 25 degrees C to 35 degrees C. One hundred twenty laying hens (18 wk old; Hy-Line) were divided into 4 groups, 30 hens per group. The laying hens were fed either a basal diet (control) or the basal diet supplemented with either 250 mg of L-ascorbic acid/kg of diet (vitamin C), 250 mg of alpha-tocopherol acetate/kg of diet (vitamin E), or 250 mg of L-ascorbic acid plus 250 mg alpha-tocopherol acetate/kg of diet (combination). Separately or as a combination vitamins C and E increased serum vitamin C and vitamin E concentrations (p < 0.001) but decreased serum MDA concentration (p < 0.05). Serum concentrations of vitamin E and vitamin C were found highest but serum MDA concentration was lowest in the combination group. Supplemental vitamins C and E either separately or in a combination increased serum T3 and T4 concentrations (p < 0.05), whereas decreased serum ACTH concentration (p < 0.01). Serum glucose and cholesterol concentrations decreased, whereas serum protein concentration increased (p < 0.05) when vitamins C and E singly or together were added to the diet. Vitamin C and vitamin E supplementation resulted in an increase in serum concentrations of Ca, P, and K (p < 0.01) but a decrease in serum concentration of Na (p < 0.05). The results of the present study suggest that supplemental vitamin C and vitamin E alter serum lipid peroxidation, vitamin C, vitamin E and metabolite status, and diets supplemented with a combination of these two vitamins offer a good management practice in laying hens reared at high temperatures. 为研究叶酸和VB12协同作用对中华绒螯蟹(Eriocheir sinensis)幼蟹生长、非特异性免疫和抗病力的影响,选取初始体重为(2.570.03) g的幼蟹600只,随机分成4组,每组5个重复,每个重复30只幼蟹,分别投喂对照组(不添加叶酸和VB12),单一VB12组(0.2 mg/kg),单一叶酸组(2.3 mg/kg)和联合处理组(0.2 mg/kg VB12 +2.3 mg/kg叶酸)的饲料8周。在养殖实验结束后,先统计成活率和称重,然后从每个处理组随机选取30只幼蟹,用2108 CFU/mL的嗜水气单胞菌注射攻毒2周。实验结果表明:幼蟹的增重率、特定生长率、饲料效率和存活率在联合处理组最高,显著高于对照组(P0.05),但与单一叶酸或VB12组相比不存在显著差异(P0.05)。联合处理组的血清酚氧化酶活性显著高于对照组(P0.05),但与单一叶酸或VB12组也无显著性差异(P0.05)。同时,联合处理组的血清酸性磷酸酶、碱性磷酸酶、溶菌酶活性和血细胞总数等指标最高,其次是单一叶酸组和VB12组,而对照组最低。投喂联合处理组饲料幼蟹的肝胰腺超氧化物歧化酶活性最高,而丙二醛含量和累积死亡率最低。以上结果表明,叶酸和VB12对幼蟹的生长、生理代谢和免疫性能均可能有互补和协同作用,养殖生产中建议饲料中叶酸和VB12添加量分别为2.3 mg/kg和0.2 mg/kg。    相似文献

We determined the effect of dietary supplementation with vitamin E (0-, 50-, 250-, 500-, 1000- and 5000-mg/kg diet for 4 weeks) on antistress ability in juvenile soft-shelled turtle (Pelodiscus sinensis). Half of the turtles per dose group were treated by acid stress for 24 h. The results showed that phagocytosis of blood cells in the control group significantly decreased after acid stress while the other five groups had no significant changes compared with those of before stress. Serum bacteriolytic activity in the control group and the group supplemented with 50-mg vitamin E/kg diet significantly decreased after acid stress. The other four groups showed no significant differences compared with those before stress. Serum bactericidal activities in all groups notably decreased after acid stress, but the difference of serum bactericidal activity in before and after stress had a decreased tendency from the control group to the highest dose group. Serum cortisol levels in the control group were significantly increased while the other five groups had no notable increases after acid stress. Liver vitamin E levels in all groups had no notable changes compared with those before stress but there was a tendency to decrease after acid stress. These results suggest that acid stress depress immune function and increase serum cortisol levels in turtles while vitamin E alleviate the adverse effects caused by acid stress.  相似文献

Forty-five mutant male ODs rats, unable to synthesize ascorbic acid, were fed nine diets containing 5, 50 or 250 mg of vitamin E/kg diet and 150,300 or 900 mg of vitamin C/kg diet for 21 days. The concentrations of vitamins C and E increased in liver and plasma in relation to the level of these vitamins in the diet. Vitamin C dietary supplementation increased the plasma vitamin E content at low levels of vitamin E intake, supporting the concept of an in vivo synergism between both antioxidant vitamins. Vitamin C, at the dietary levels studied, did not affect the lipid peroxidation. Vitamin E decreased liver and plasma endogenous levels of thiobarbituric acid-reactive substances and liver sensitivity to non-enzymatic lipid peroxidation. This was confirmed by a highly specific assay of lipid hydroperoxides using high performance liquid chromatography with chemiluminescence detection. The hepatic concentration of both phosphatidylcholine and phosphatidylethanolamine hydroperoxides decreased as the vitamin E content of the diet increased. The results show for the first time the capacity of vitamin E to protect against peroxidation of major phospho-lipids in vivo under basal unstressed conditions.  相似文献

以初始体质量(7.270.40) g的青鱼为研究对象, 采用维生素E(VE)有效含量分别为14.36(对照组)、25.14、37.66、62.97、113.92和210.45 mg/kg 6种等氮等能的实验饲料, 饲养青鱼幼鱼8周后, 根据生长情况选取对照组、62.97和210.45 mg/kg VE组进行24h氨氮胁迫(20 mg/L), 研究VE对青鱼幼鱼生长、免疫及抗氨氮胁迫能力的影响。结果表明: 以特定生长率为指标, 折线模型分析表明青鱼有效维生素E需要量为45.00 mg/kg。肌肉、肝脏和血清VE含量与饲料中VE含量呈明显正相关, 当饲料VE含量超过113.92 mg/kg时, 肌肉和肝脏VE含量均达到饱和。VE对鳃丝Na+/K+-ATP酶活性(NKA)和血清皮质醇(COR)无显著影响, 但随着饲料VE含量的升高, 过氧化氢酶(CAT)和总超氧化物歧化酶活性(T-SOD)呈上升趋势, 丙二醛含量(MDA)呈下降趋势。氨氮胁迫对各处理组肌肉VE含量和血清CAT活性无影响, 但肝脏VE含量均显著降低(P0.05), 且62.97和210.4 5 mg/kg VE组血清VE水平有所升高。在胁迫后, 对照组血清T-SOD、鳃丝NKA活性显著降低, 皮质醇含量显著增加(P0.05)。与对照组相比, 62.97和210.45 mg/kg VE组T-SOD、NKA活性和皮质醇含量在胁迫前后无显著变化。各处理组MDA含量在胁迫后虽均显著升高, 但210.45 mg/kg VE组在胁迫后MDA含量仍显著低于对照组(P0.05)。以上结果说明, 青鱼幼鱼获得最大生长的有效维生素E需求量为45.00 mg/kg, 且较高VE能有效提高青鱼机体免疫力, 缓解氨氮胁迫对青鱼机体的负面影响。    相似文献

Female rats were used to investigate the comparative role of vitamin A and beta-carotene (dietary or injected) on growth, feed intake and reproduction. After 3 wk of vitamin A and beta-carotene depletion, rats were assigned to one of six groups: 1) CON = fed 5% NRC recommended level of vitamin A (= 60 mug retinol equivalent (RE)/kg diet); 2) VA = fed 100% of vitamin A (= 1200 mug RE/kg diet); 3) HVA = fed 150% of vitamin A; 4) VA+C = fed 100% of vitamin A + 1.2mg beta-carotene; 5) VA+IC = fed 100% of vitamin A + injected weekly with 8.37 mg of beta-carotene; and 6) VA+IVA = fed 100% of vitamin A + injected weekly with 1400 IU of vitamin A. The level of vitamin A and beta-carotene in dam blood and liver reflected the level of supplementation. No difference in feed intake or body weight was observed. Although mean litter size was similar for all groups, mean pup weight at birth was lowest for deficient rats. Pup mortality through 2 wk postpartum was lower for groups receiving higher levels of either vitamin A or beta-carotene. However, supplemental beta-carotene did not influence growth or reproductive performance. Therefore, low intakes in vitamin A or beta-carotene had no effect on feed intake, growth or reproduction in female rats but decreased fetal growth and increased mortality among pups.  相似文献

This study evaluated the efficacy of dietary vitamin C (ascorbic acid or AA), vitamin E (alpha-tocopherol or alpha-T), and C+E supplementation on the blood parameters of Arapaima gigas grown in net cages for 45 days. Four treatments were tested: control (commercial feed); C800; E500 and C+E (800+500) with supplementation of 800 mg AA kg(-1), 500 mg alpha-T kg(-1) and 800+500 mg AA+alpha-T kg(-1), respectively. Hematocrit (Ht), red blood cells (RBC), and hemoglobin concentration (Hb) (oxidative status indicators), thrombocytes and leukocytes (immunological indicators), plasma protein and glucose were evaluated. Fish fed vitamin C and C+E supplemented diets showed greater weight gain and survival. Dietary vitamin C and C+E diet supplementation resulted in increased Ht, Hb, RBC, MCHC, total leukocytes, total proteins, thrombocytes and eosinophils compared to the control and alpha-T. The alpha-tocopherol-supplemented diet reduced the number of total thrombocytes, lymphocytes and neutrophils and increased glucose and eosinophils relatively to the control. In general, leukocytes and thrombocytes were good indicators of the efficiency of vitamin on the defense mechanism of the A. gigas reared in cages. Results indicate that high alpha-T diet supplementation provides no benefit for the maintenance of the oxidative or the immunological status of A. gigas. To investigate the influence and possible interactions of dietary vitamin E and C supplementation on vitamin content of both vitamins and oxidative stability of different pork tissues 40 Large White barrows from 25?kg to 106?kg were allocated to four different cereal based diets: Basal diet (B), dl-α-tocopherylacetate?+?200?mg/kg (E), crystalline ascorbic acid?+?300?mg/kg (C) or both vitamins (EC). At slaughtering samples of liver, spleen, heart, kidney, backfat outer layer, ham and M. longissimus dorsi were obtained. Growth performance of the pigs and carcass characteristics were not influenced by feeding treatments. Dietary vitamin E supplementation had a significant effect on the vitamin E and α-tocopherol concentration in all investigated tissues. Backfat outer layer, liver, spleen, kidney and heart had higher vitamin E concentrations than ham and M. longissimus dorsi. Dietary vitamin C supplementation tended towards enhanced vitamin E levels except for ham samples. Therefore, some synergistic actions without dietary vitamin E supplementation between the two vitamins could be shown. The vitamin C concentration and TBARS were increased or at least equal in all tissues due to vitamin C supplementation. Dietary α-tocopherol supplementation resulted in lower TBARS in backfat outer layer (malondialdehyde 0.35?mg/kg in B vs. 0.28?mg/kg in E), but increased in heart and ham. When both vitamins were supplemented (EC) TBARS were lower in M. longissimus dorsi and backfat outer layer, equal in heart and higher in liver and ham compared to a single vitamin C supplementation. Rancimat induction time of backfat outer layer was 0.3?h higher in C compared to B and 0.17?h higher in EC than in E. Correlations between levels of both vitamins were positive for kidney (r?=?0.169), M. longissimus dorsi (r?=?0.499) and ham (r?=?0.361) and negative for heart (r?=???0.350). In liver and spleen no interaction could be found. In backfat outer layer vitamin E was positively correlated with rancimat induction time (r?=?0.550) and negatively with TBARS (r?=???0.202), but provided no evidence that dietary vitamin E supply led to better oxidative stability.  相似文献

为研究维生素C多聚磷酸酯对小鼠肝脏脂质抗氧化物酶基因转录的影响,将24只3-4周龄、体重为16-22g的健康雄性小鼠随机分为4组,分别在饵料中添加0、500、2500和5000mg/kg的35%维生素C多聚磷酸酯,喂食4周后取其肝脏,用Trizol法抽提总RNA,利用RT-PCR方法对小鼠肝脏超氧化物歧化酶基因、过氧化氢酶基因和谷胱甘肽过氧化物酶基因的mRNA进行分析。结果表明,维生素C多聚磷酸酯对小鼠肝脏抗氧化物酶基因的转录有显著性影响(P<0·05)。维生素C多聚磷酸酯添加量为2500和5000mg/kg的两组,过氧化氢酶基因的mRNA水平明显高于对照组;维生素C多聚磷酸酯添加量为2500和5000mg/kg的两组超氧化物歧化酶基因的mRNA水平明显高于对照组,其中5000mg/kg组的mRNA水平明显高于其它三组;维生素C多聚磷酸酯添加量为5000mg/kg组,谷胱甘肽过氧化物酶基因的转录活性明显高于其它三组(P<0·05)。研究结果表明:高剂量的维生素C多聚磷酸酯能促进小鼠抗氧化物酶基因的转录活性,但促进不同抗氧化物酶基因转录所需的维生素C多聚磷酸酯的量不同。  相似文献

This study investigates the effect of dietary vitamin E on juveniles of gilthead seabream under stressful situations, focusing on the effects on growth, haematology, some immune parameters and plasma cortisol as indicators of stress. Two sardine meal-based experimental diets, one of them supplemented with 150 mg of alpha tocopherol kg(-1) of diet (control) and another one without vitamin E supplementation (diet NE), were assayed under two different stress conditions: overcrowding as a chronic stressor (during 15 weeks) and repetitive chasing as an acute repetitive stressor. Low levels of vitamin E in the diet depleted alternative complement pathway activity [from 167.23 U ml(-1) (control fish) down to 100.99 U ml(-1)] and also nonspecific haemagglutination. Also, fish fed a non-supplemented diet showed an elevation of plasma cortisol basal levels without a stressor influence [from 3.91 ng cortisol ml(-1) plasma (control fish) up to 21.70 ng cortisol ml(-1) plasma]. Low levels of vitamin E in the diet also produced an increase of erythrocyte fragility. Under chronic stress, fish fed the vitamin E-deficient diet showed a reduction in growth and survival, and alterations in haematological parameters, such as an additional haemoconcentration in response to overcrowding when compared with control fish. Under repetitive stress, fish fed the vitamin E deficient diet showed faster elevation of plasma cortisol levels in response to stress and a lower survival rate than control fish. Production of oxygen radicals by blood neutrophils was reduced under repetitive stress in fish fed the non-supplemented diet. These results suggest that fish fed the vitamin E-deficient diet had lower stress resistance.  相似文献
