应用花粉通量测定新技术,于1992-1994上在小麦(Triticum aestivum L.)、玉米(Zea mays L.)传粉期间,应用库尔式收集仪收集和测定空气中的花粉,记录气象资料,进行统计分析,确定小麦、主米产量与它们最大传粉期空气中花粉浓度的相对应数据,根据这些数据,试图建立禹城实验区小麦和玉米产量预报图式。  相似文献

菊科12种外来植物的有性繁殖特征和入侵风险研究   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1  
菊科植物具有极强的有性繁殖能力,对外来菊科观赏植物的引进存在极高的入侵风险。本研究以武汉常见的菊科12种外来观赏植物为对象,通过有性繁殖特征调查,研究植株的花部特征、花粉活力、传粉系统、种子产量,分析各物种有性繁殖能力的差异,评估其入侵能力。结果显示,多数物种可在隔绝传粉者情况下结实;访花昆虫类型多样,共观察到26种访花昆虫,其中膜翅目蜂类是主要的传粉者;结实情况具有一定差异。综合考虑花粉活力、传粉情况和结实情况,认为黑心金光菊(Rudbeckia hirta L.)、松果菊(Echinacea purpurea(L.)Moench)、大花金鸡菊(Coreopsis grandiflora Hogg.)、蛇目菊(Sanvitalia procumbens Lam.)的有性繁殖竞争力较高,对本地传粉环境可能有较大影响。本研究对近缘物种有性繁殖特征的综合分析结果可为评估外来物种的入侵风险提供一定的参考。  相似文献

银杏与玉米花粉肌动蛋白含量的比较研究   总被引:2,自引:1,他引:1  
通过免疫印迹鉴定,证明银杏(Ginkgo biloba L.)花粉中存在肌动蛋白。同时对银杏和玉米(Zeamays L.)花粉肌动蛋白含量进行了比较。结果表明,银杏花粉肌动蛋白含量明显少于玉米花粉肌动蛋白含量。SDS-PAGE扫描图谱显示,银杏花粉肌动蛋白含量只有玉米花粉的1/6。两种花粉DNaseⅠ活性抑制结果表明,银杏花粉肌动蛋白含量约为玉米花粉的1/7。  相似文献

银杏(Ginkgo biloba L.)是最古老裸子植物之一,其传粉受精过程表现出许多特殊的原始性状和特征,在种子植物的系统演化上具有重要研究价值;同时,银杏种实经济价值高,但栽培上由于授粉受精不良而导致落花落果现象严重,因此了解银杏传粉生物学特性对于其种实的优质高产具有实际意义.本文从银杏雌雄株开花物候学、雌雄花形态结构特征、花粉和胚珠发育进程、花粉和胚珠生物学特性、传粉机制及花粉在胚珠内萌发生长进程等方面,对银杏传粉生物学相关研究进行综述,为银杏的系统演化、授粉受精和种实发育研究提供参考.  相似文献

本文报道1985年4月1日起至1986年3月31日止天津市和平区观察空气甲孢粉飘散的结果。该市全年均有花粉飘散,其中11月起至翌年2月止花粉数量很少,其它月份数量较多。一年中共出现二次高峰,即春季4月和秋季8—9月。春季花粉为木本植物的,如,白蜡树(Fraxinus L.)榆属(Ulmus L.)和杨属(Populus L.)。秋季花粉以草本植物为主,如,藜科(chenopodlaceae)、蒿属(Artemisia L.)、葎草属(Humulus L.)和禾本科(Gramineae)。经结合临床观察,花粉症患者发病日期与植物的开花期基本上是一致的。  相似文献

被子植物的花回馈、雌雄蕊时空分离特征和花粉呈现式样等花部特征及传粉者效率会影响雄性适合度和有性繁殖过程。宁夏枸杞(Lycium barbarum)是中国宁夏、新疆、内蒙等干旱和半干旱地区分布的特有种。该研究对新疆喀什地区宁夏枸杞自然种群的花部综合征、花粉呈现式样、花回馈、传粉者行为与交配方式的关系进行观察及统计分析,以探讨其花粉逐步呈现的适应性及其在提高雌雄繁殖过程中的意义。结果表明:(1)宁夏枸杞的单花寿命为(4.07±0.15) d,而雄性持续时间(0.07±0.01 d)比雌性持续时间短(4±0.01 d);花寿命内雌蕊长度比雄蕊长,属柱头探出式异位类型;花粉呈现式样为不完全逐步呈现。(2)花寿命不同阶段花回馈间存在显著差异。(3)意大利蜜蜂(Apis mellifera)、熊蜂(Bombus sp.)、食蚜蝇(Syrphidae sp.)是宁夏枸杞在自然居群的主要访花者,其中熊蜂和食蚜蝇是主要传粉者,但传粉者效率低,属于高移出低沉积类型。(4)宁夏枸杞的花粉胚珠比(2 448.11±448.32)及授粉实验结果均表现出兼性异交特征;自发自交及人工自花授粉花的座果率及结籽率很低,属于自交不亲和类型;自然传粉花的座果率及结籽率比人工去雄异花低,存在其较高的花粉限制(40.71%)。研究发现,宁夏枸杞花部综合征表现出雌雄异位和花粉不完全逐步呈现式样,这是避免雌雄功能及雄蕊各花药间的干扰、减少花粉同步移出及保障其雄性适合度的有效途径,但自然居群的传粉者种类限制、传粉效率低以及自交不亲性是导致宁夏枸杞花粉限制及降低雌性繁殖成功的主要原因。  相似文献

通过野外观察和繁育系统的实验,对黄花牛耳朵(Chirita lutea Yan Liu et Y.G.wei)的传粉生物学进行了研究.结果表明,黄花牛耳朵的花期从7月初至8月底,单株花期约35~47 d,单花化期约6~10 d,花的开放无固定的时间.在花期内花粉活性约80%,柱头可授性约75%~90%.花粉/胚珠比率(P/O)为1 215.73±266.13.柱头在花药散粉时已生长至花筒口部,明显高于花药,便于接受异花花粉.黄花牛耳朵不存在无融合生殖,高度白交亲和,但较难发生自动的白花授粉,产生种子主要依靠传粉媒介.自然授粉的结实率明显低于人工授粉的结实率,存在传粉限制,蜜蜂(Apidae sp.)、方头泥蜂(Crabro sp.)、无垫蜂(Ameglla sp.)是主要的传粉者.  相似文献

银杏是雌雄异株植物,雌花开放一般晚于雄花。依靠自然传粉产量不高,生产上常采用人工授粉方法以提高结果率。这就需要收集和贮藏花粉,检查花粉生活力。但银杏花粉以常规的花粉发芽试验和Brewbackwack配制的培养基均难以前发。我们用改良的测定种子活力的氯化三苯四氮吐还原法(TTC),同样可以测定银杏花粉的生活力,十分方便。其实验程序如下:取99ml0.05mol.L-1、pH为7.5的磷酸缓冲液,加入0.6gTTC和1ml1%吐温-80,从中取3ml加到盛有50mg花粉的IOInl试管中,放在25℃的光照培养箱中sh后,以80Or·Wu一滴心SWn,花粉下沉,…  相似文献

几个中国大麦属物种叶绿体psbL和psbJ基因序列分析   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1  
对8份来源于中国和2份来自国外的不同大麦属物种或亚种叶绿体基因组psbL~psbJ区进行了序列测定.结果表明,10份大麦属材料的psbL~psbJ区序列长度均为365bp,且无变异位点.同时,将大麦属psbL~psbJ区序列与已报道的黑麦(Secale cereale L.)、小麦(Triticum aestivum L.)、水稻(Oryza sativa L.)和玉米(Zea mays L.)的相同序列比较,发现所有物种的psbL基因序列长度均为117bp,且无核酸变异位点;psbJ基因序列长度均为123bp,共检测到6个核酸变异位点.除水稻外,所有物种psbL和psbJ基因间区长度均为125bp,水稻psbL和psbJ基因间区为126bp.在psbL和psbJ基因间区,除水稻具有1个插入位点外,还发现8个核酸变异位点.psbL~psbJ区揭示的大麦属物种、黑麦、小麦、水稻和玉米的遗传分化距离变化范围为0.0055~0.0426.以玉米为外类群,采用邻接法进行系统发育关系分析发现,同属于小麦族的大麦属植物、黑麦和小麦间亲缘关系较近,而水稻与玉米则相对较近.  相似文献

异型花柱是受遗传控制的花柱多态现象, 被达尔文认为是植物通过在传粉者体表不同部位滞落花粉以促进型间花粉准确传递的一种适应。该现象虽已受到广泛关注, 但在一些花型变异较大且不稳定的传粉系统中, 不同传粉者对各花型繁殖所产生的影响仍知之甚少。该研究以分布于新疆天山南坡的一个有同长花柱共存的异型花柱植物喀什补血草(Limonium kaschgaricum)种群为研究对象, 对其花型构成及频率、传粉者及花粉转移效率等进行了调查分析。结果表明: 1)种群中除了存在雌/雄蕊长度交互对应的长(L)/短(S)花柱型花外, 还有雌/雄蕊同长的花(H型), 且各花型花的花冠口直径、花冠筒长及花粉量等参数间无差异, 但花粉纹饰和柱头乳突细胞形态具二型性。其中, H型花的花粉和柱头形态与L型花(或S型花)的一致。2)花型内和自花授粉均不亲和; 型间授粉时, 花粉和柱头形态不同的花型间亲和, 反之不亲和。3)种群内存在长/短吻两类传粉昆虫。在以短吻传粉者为主的盛花初、中期, L和H型花柱头上的异型花粉数均显著高于S型花的, 且L和S型花高位性器官间的异型花粉传递效率高于低位性器官间的; 而在以长吻传粉者为主的盛花后期, L和S型花的柱头间异型花粉数无显著差异, 且高/低位性器官间具有相同的异型花粉转移效率; 与传粉者出现时期相对应的、在花期不同阶段开放花的结实率也明显不同。4)长/短吻昆虫具明显不同的传粉功能, 短吻昆虫只能对L和H型花进行有效传粉, 且访花频率和型间花粉转移效率较低, 为低效传粉者; 而长吻昆虫对各花型均能有效传粉, 具高的访花频率和型间花粉转移效率, 为高效传粉者。因为长吻昆虫的阶段性出现所形成的不稳定传粉系统, 使低效的短吻昆虫可能会成为种群中花型变异的驱动力, 并使S型花受到更大的选择压力。H型花克服了柱头缩入的弊端, 可能会成为不稳定传粉系统下的一个替代花型而持续存在。  相似文献

A technique is presented that is capable of predicting the motion of airborne pollen grains and the probability of pollen capture by wind-pollinated plants. Equations for the motion of rigid-walled particles (= pollen grains, spores, or Sephadex beads) in a supporting, compressible fluid (= air) are derived from the first principles of fluid dynamics. These equations are incorporated into a computer program (MODEL) which can be used with a desktop computer. The operation of MODEL requires empirical data on the pattern of airflow or the motion of a pollen species around the surfaces of the taxonomically relevant ovulate plant organ. With this information, MODEL can predict the behavior of any pollen species for which physical properties (size and density) are specified or empirically known. The significance of this procedure lies in the quantification of physical phenomena that influence the mechanics and fluid dynamics of pollen capture in wind pollination. The technique is illustrated and tested by its application to two grass species (Setaria geniculata and Agrostis hiemalis) for which velocity fields of pollen motion have been previously reported.  相似文献

A genomic DNA fragment from wheat carrying the Glu-1Dx5 gene has been shown to exhibit reduced pollen transmission in transgenic maize. To localize the region of the DNA fragment responsible for this reduced pollen transmission, we produced transgenic maize plants in which the wheat genomic DNA proximal to the 1Dx5 coding sequence was replaced with the maize 27 kDa gamma-zein promoter. Like the wheat promoter-driven Glu-1Dx5 transgene, this zein promoter-driven transgene functioned to produce 1Dx5 in maize endosperm. However, with the zein promoter-driven transgene, pollen transmission of the transgene loci was normal in most self- and cross-pollinations. We concluded that the wheat genomic DNA proximal to the wheat 1Dx5 coding sequence was required for reduced pollen transmission of the transgene in maize. In two of four transformation events of the wheat promoter-driven construct examined, pollen exhibited two morphological classes. In one class, pollen was normal in morphology and displayed average viability, and in the second, pollen was reduced in size and did not germinate on artificial media. DNA from the transgene was detectable in mature pollen from plants with reduced pollen transmission of transgene loci. To explain these observations, we hypothesize that elements within the transgene construct interfere with pollen development. We demonstrated that the wheat genomic DNA fragment can be used to control pollen transmission of an herbicide resistance transgene genetically linked to it. The wheat genomic DNA fragment may contain elements that are useful for controlling pollen transmission of transgene loci in commercial maize grain and seed production.  相似文献

Wind-tunnel analyses of the behavior of airborne pollen around ovules of two Ephedra species (E. trifurca and E. nevadensis) indicate that at certain airflow speeds (0.5 m/sec and 1.0 m/sec) each species is capable of biasing pollination in favor of conspecific pollen. A computer procedure was designed to evaluate the physical basis for this aerodynamic discrimination. This procedure indicates that differences in size and density confer significantly different inertial properties to the two pollen species. Operating within the specific aerodynamic environments generated around ovules from each species, these differences are sufficient to account for the biases observed in the probability of pollination. Within natural populations, there exists significant variation in pollen size (and possibly in density). Accordingly, it is possible that, under certain ambient wind conditions, ovules from each species can select subsets of the entire airborne population of Ephedra pollen.  相似文献

The phenology of pollen release and pollen capture by Pistacia vera was studied in the field and laboratory respectively. Inflorescences of Pistacia vera were examined in a wind tunnel to determine whether the behavior of airborne conspecific pollen around receptive flowers differed as a result of changes in the shape and size of the inflorescence. In addition, the behavior of unclumped (single) and clumped pollen grains was studied to determine differences in the probability of their capture. Wind speeds within a commercial orchard during pollen shedding averaged 0.9–2.2 m/sec and atmospheric pollen concentrations were highest between 0900–1100 hr MST. Each of three stages in inflorescence development (defined on the basis of the number of exserted stigmas) was examined under identical ambient airflow conditions with equal concentrations of airborne pollen (1,000 grains/m3). The general pattern of pollen grain motion involves direct inertial collision by windward surfaces and by sedimentation of pollen onto leeward surfaces; clumped pollen rarely sedimented onto leeward surfaces. Small changes in ambient wind speed (0.5 m/sec to 1.0 m/sec) produced significant changes in the pattern of pollen motion around inflorescences and altered the number of pollen grains captured by leeward surfaces. Thus, wind pollination in P. vera is affected both by windspeed and by the shape or size of flower clusters. Differences in the behavior of clumped and unclumped pollen result from their inertial properties and responsiveness to local changes in the direction and speed of airflow. Unclumped pollen has a higher probability of being captured by leeward surfaces. The apparent insensitivity of pollen motion to differences in inflorescence size may ensure equitable pollination during the acropetal development of flowers.  相似文献

Wheat (Triticum aestivum L.) haploids were produced by crossing with Job's tears (Coix lachryma-jobi L.) as the pollen parent. Pollination was followed by 2,4-D treatment, detached tiller culture, and embryo culture, as described for maize pollination. The frequency of embryo formation was similar to that obtained by crossing wheat with maize pollen. Job's tears is a perennial plant which forms several stalks and its pollen can be collected throughout the year when the plant is maintained in a controlled environment. Our results indicate that Job's tears can be used as the pollen parent for wheat crosses for haploid production without requiring synchronization of flowering dates.  相似文献

Summary Cytological events in the first 12 h after pollination were studied in crosses between the hexaploid wheat genotype Chinese Spring and the maize genotype Seneca 60. A pollen tube was first observed in the embryo sac 4 h after pollination, and maize sperm nuclei were first observed in the embryo sac after 5 h. On 29 occasions two, and on 1 occasion three, pollen tubes penetrated the embryo sac. Four categories of aberration limiting the frequency of fertilization were identified: (1) in 20% of florets no pollen tube reached the embryo sac; (2) in at least 1.9% the pollen tube severely damaged the wheat egg cell and polar nuclei; (3) in 33% the maize sperm nuclei were not released from the pollen tube; and (4) in 16% the sperm nuclei were released into the embryo sac but failed to move to either of the wheat gametes. In the remaining 29% sperm nuclei were more often found in the egg cell than at the polar nuclei. The results suggest that karyogamy occurs with very high efficiency when a sperm nucleus reaches the egg cell, but with only about 50% efficiency when a sperm nucleus reaches the polar nuclei.  相似文献

Targeted mutagenesis using programmable DNA endonucleases has broad applications for studying gene function in planta and developing approaches to improve crop yields. Recently, a genetic method that eliminates the need to emasculate the female inbred during hybrid seed production, referred to as Seed Production Technology, has been described. The foundation of this genetic system relied on classical methods to identify genes critical to anther and pollen development. One of these genes is a P450 gene which is expressed in the tapetum of anthers. Homozygous recessive mutants in this gene render maize and rice plants male sterile. While this P450 in maize corresponds to the male fertility gene Ms26, male fertility mutants have not been isolated in other monocots such as sorghum and wheat. In this report, a custom designed homing endonuclease, Ems26+, was used to generate in planta mutations in the rice, sorghum and wheat orthologs of maize Ms26. Similar to maize, homozygous mutations in this P450 gene in rice and sorghum prevent pollen formation resulting in male sterile plants and fertility was restored in sorghum using a transformed copy of maize Ms26. In contrast, allohexaploid wheat plants that carry similar homozygous nuclear mutations in only one, but not all three, of their single genomes were male fertile. Targeted mutagenesis and subsequent characterization of male fertility genes in sorghum and wheat is an important step for capturing heterosis and improving crop yields through hybrid seed.  相似文献

The motion induced by wind of Setaria geniculate (Lam.) Beauv. and Agrostis hiemalis (Walt.) B.S.P. panicles is shown to have harmonic characteristics that can influence pollination. During each cycle of its motion, the panicle of S. geniculata repeats a sequence of reorientations to the direction of ambient airflow. This repetition is correlated with a reiteration of airflow patterns through which airborne pollen grains must pass to reach floral surfaces. The panicle decelerates as it moves toward either of the two extreme positions of its oscillatory motion. The decelerations introduce a bias in the time the panicle spends in each of its orientations. This bias generates “preferred orientations” to the direction of ambient airflow which in turn results in biasing the aerodynamics of pollen capture. Similar phenomena are reported for the panicle of A. hiemalis, although a more complex pattern of oscillatory motion is observed. The reciprocity between the mechanics of oscillatory motion and the aerodynamics of pollen capture is shown to have deterministic properties which may surface above the “noise” produced by other, stochastic features influencing wind pollination.  相似文献
