发现苹果属西蜀海棠的一个新变种-光果西蜀海棠,以全株尤其果实光滑无毛区别于原变种;及苹果属另一新变种-裸柱丽江山荆子,以花柱下部合生处光滑无毛区别于原变种。

Solanum L. section Solanum—a name change in S. villosum Miller

The discovery of an earlier epithet for the eglandular-haired subspecies of the Eurasian tetraploid Solarium villosum Miller has necessitated a name change and a new combination. The taxon previously called S. villosum Miller subsp. puniceum (Kirschl.) Edmonds now becomes S. villosum subsp. miniatum (Bernh. ex Willd.) Edmonds. Additional synonyms of this subspecies are given, together with the reasons for the selection of the epithet 'miniatum' rather than 'humile' which was published at the same time.

研究对不同气候条件的大花葵花色苷含量进行了分析, 气候条件不同的大花葵花色苷含量有明显差异, 从测定结果上看, 黑龙江哈尔滨产的大花葵花色苷含量要高于辽宁丹东产的大花葵;日照时数长, 昼夜温差大的条件下, 大花葵中的花色苷含量较高。

Effects of low pH on the chorion of rainbow trout, Oncorhynchus mykiss, and brown trout, Salmo trutta f. fario

Morphological studies on the effect of low pH on egg shells (chorion) of rainbow trout, Oncorhynrhus mykiss Walbaum (formerly Salmo gairdneri ), and brown trout, Salmo trutta f. fario L., showed that the plugs of the outer layer of the chorion, which block the channels of the underlying layer, developed distinctive vacuolization at low pH exposure. This may lead to loss of chorional semi-permeability. Chorions were incompletely degraded at low pH inducing hatching problems. Partially hatched alevins showed only a small local zone of dissolution of the chorion around the head of the embryo preventing the larvae from being freed.     

Central and peripheral cardiovascular, ventilatory, and motor effects of trout urotensin-II in the trout

Urotensin-II (U-II) was originally considered to be exclusively the product of the caudal neurosecretory system (CNSS) of teleost fish, but it has now been demonstrated that U-II is widely expressed in peripheral tissues and nervous structures of species from lampreys to mammals. However, very little is known regarding the physiological effects of this peptide in its species of origin. In the present review, we summarize the most significant results relating to the cardiovascular, ventilatory, and motor effects of centrally and peripherally administered synthetic trout U-II in our experimental animal model, the unanesthetized trout Oncorhynchus mykiss. In addition, we compare the actions of U-II with those of other neurohormonal peptides, particularly with the actions of urotensin-I, a 41-amino acid residue peptide paralogous to corticotropin-releasing hormone that is co-localized with U-II within neurons of the CNSS.     

Rainbow trout metallothionein

Two forms of hepatic metallothionein were isolated and purified from rainbow trout injected intraperitoneally with cadmium chloride. Both forms showed similarities with mammalian metallothioneins, had a high cystein content (30 mol%), and were void of aromatic amino acids and histidine. The molecular weight was estimated to be about 6000 dalton for the apothioneins, and the thiol groups of the cysteine residues complexed with the heavy metals (Cd, Cu, Zn) in a SH/Me⁺⁺ ratio of about 2.4. The amount of copper in metallothionein from rainbow trout was very high, greater than the amount of cadmium and zinc after injections of 3 mg cadmium/kg body weight. The total metal content of cadmium, copper and zinc in metallothionein 1 and 2 were about 7 and 8 atoms per molecule respectively.     

Characterization of microsatellite loci in Ulmus minor Miller and cross‐amplification in U. glabra Hudson and U. laevis Pall.

We developed five microsatellites from Ulmus minor using an AFLP protocol followed by an enrichment step, with biotinylated primers containing tandem repeats. Loci were characterized using a total of 30 elms from six Spanish populations. Three microsatellites were also transferred to U. laevis and U. glabra.
