科尔沁沙地沙丘迎风坡面干沙层的空间分布   总被引:2,自引:0,他引:2  
对科尔沁沙地西部地区流动沙丘和固定沙丘的迎风坡表层干沙层厚度进行观测,分析了沙丘坡面干沙层的空间分布特点.结果表明:研究区沙丘迎风坡表层干沙层厚度主要在5 ~15 cm,92.0%的流动沙丘区域和98.6%的固定沙丘区域的干沙层厚度分布在此范围内;固沙植物影响沙丘表层干沙层的厚度变化和空间分布.流动沙丘表层干沙层厚度表现出明显的空间差异性:迎风坡上部西侧区域干沙层厚度较大,下部东侧区域相对较薄,其平均厚度为(9.58±3.95) cm,干沙层厚度在0~ 40 cm范围内变化,变异系数为41%,干沙层空间分布的变异函数表现为球状模型,具有中等的空间相关性;固定沙丘的干沙层厚度表现为明显的均一性,空间差异性不明显,其平均厚度为(10.91±1.70) cm,干沙层厚度变化范围在0~20 cm,变异系数仅16%.  相似文献

为了阐明沙丘微地形生境蚁丘特征及分布规律对沙丘固定过程的响应规律,以科尔沁沙地为研究区,选择不同固沙阶段沙丘的4个方位(西北、东南、西南、东北)布设调查样地,测定了不同样地的蚁丘密度、直径和高度,分析了不同样地蚁丘特征及空间分布规律。结果表明:(1)流动沙丘背风向(即东南方位)蚁丘密度显著高于其他方位,但从流动沙丘到半流动沙丘,背风向(即东南方位)蚁丘密度显著低于其他方位;从半固定沙丘开始,半固定和固定沙丘微地形对蚁丘密度分布的影响较小。(2)在流动沙丘、半流动沙丘、半固定沙丘,不同微地形生境中蚁丘直径和高度均呈现出相似的分布规律,即东南方位均小于其他方位。在固定沙丘,蚁丘高度表现为东南方位亦较低,但蚁丘直径表现为西南和东北方位显著小于西北方位。(3)在流动沙丘,西北、西南和东南方位上蚁丘空间分布均表现为均匀分布型,而在半流动、半固定和固定沙丘,4个方位上蚁丘空间分布均表现为聚集分布型。(4)相关性分析表明,不同固沙阶段不同微生境下蚁丘密度、高度、直径与植物密度、多样性间的相关性不同。随着固沙阶段演替,不同微生境下蚁丘特征与植物密度、多样性的相关性增强。研究表明,在科尔沁沙地,随着流动沙丘固定和生境逐渐恢复,沙丘不同空间方位上蚁丘密度分布差异缩小,而蚁丘直径和高度仍存在沙丘微地形间显著差异性,并且蚁丘空间方位上均呈现聚集分布状态。  相似文献

人工固沙措施对沙丘沉积物特征及土壤养分的影响   总被引:5,自引:0,他引:5  
为探明人工铺设尼龙网状固沙措施对风沙危害的影响,以腾格里沙漠东南部人工固定沙丘、两类自然流动沙丘以及防护林的地表沉积物和结皮为研究对象,研究沙丘不同位置、不同深度沉积物的颗粒组成、土壤有机质、有效氮、有效磷、有效钾含量等养分特征。结果表明:(1)人工固定沙丘和自然流动沙丘粒度组成和土壤养分含量都存在显著差异(P0.5),沙障的防风,固沙和土壤改良作用明显。(2)人工固定沙丘各个地貌位置沉积物粒度频率曲线均出现三峰,反映了沙障对粉尘沉积物的拦截作用,体现了沙障对土壤理化性质的改良过程;分选性随风向逐渐变差,随着粒径变细而好;偏度和峰度明显高于其他。(3)整个研究区沉积物偏碱性,影响着土壤养分含量。人工固定沙丘养分含量最高,有效氮和有机质含量均为最大,有效磷和有效钾含量略低于对比林,其粉沙物质含量与养分含量成正比。(4)人工固定沙丘的沙丘迎、背风坡均有植被分布,并覆有土壤物理结皮,沉积物粒级分配较自然发育的流动沙丘分散,养分含量增加。由此可见,沙障对沙区的土壤环境和生态环境改善具有重要的影响。  相似文献

以古尔班通古特沙漠中三种类型沙丘(固定沙丘、半固定沙丘和流动沙丘)上主要固沙灌木梭梭(Haloxylon ammodendron)、白梭梭(Haloxylon persicum)、沙拐枣(Calligonum mongolicum)、蛇麻黄(Ephedra distachya)和油蒿(Artemisia ordosica)为研究对象, 利用12个基础模型建立了不同沙丘类型上所有灌木和不同类型灌木的冠幅模型。模型拟合结果表明: 不论是不同沙丘类型上所有灌木的拟合效果还是不同类型灌木的拟合效果, 固定沙丘和半固定沙丘均优于流动沙丘。同时, 两个近“S”形模型M7(Gompertz Model)和M12(HossfeldⅠ Model)对三种类型沙丘上的固沙灌木均有较好拟合效果; M1(Linear Model)、M2(Quadratic Model)、M3(Power Model)、M6(Logistic Model)、M7、M9(Gauss Model)、M10(Mitscherlinch Model)和M12八个模型适用于研究区绝大部分固沙灌木冠幅模型的模拟。但不同沙丘类型上所有灌木和不同类型的灌木都有不同的最优冠幅模型。研究可为今后该地区相关生态模型建立和防风固沙效益的评价提供科学依据。  相似文献

丘间低地植物种间关联研究对揭示植物对生境变化的响应及植被演替机制具有重要意义。通过χ2检验和AC关联系数对科尔沁沙地22个不同面积的流动沙丘区和固定沙丘区丘间低地植物种间关联进行了比较分析。结果表明:在固定沙丘区,当丘间低地面积<0.5hm2时,|AC|≤0.3的种对数占所有种对数的百分比和|AC|≥0.7的种对数占所有种对数的百分比略大于流动沙丘区,当丘间低地面积>0.5hm2时,|AC|≤0.3的种对数占所有种对数的百分比显著小于流动沙丘区,|AC|≥0.7的种对数占所有种对数的百分比显著大于流动沙丘区;当面积<0.5hm2时,沙丘固定未引起丘间低地植物种间关系发生明显变化;当面积>0.5hm2时,沙丘固定导致丘间低地植物种间关系更加紧密。  相似文献

沙拐枣(Calligonum mongolicum)是分布于我国北方荒漠、半荒漠的一种主要固沙植物,研究沙拐枣种群在沙地生境中的扩张对沙漠-绿洲过渡带的生态恢复和重建管理具有重要的实践意义.以巴丹吉林沙漠延伸带与河西走廊中部张临高绿洲过渡带为研究区域,采用踏查与样方调查相结合的方法对4种不同沙地生境(固定沙丘、半流动沙丘迎风坡、背风坡、丘间低地)中沙拐枣种群特征、繁殖规律、种群的扩张域和扩张速率进行了研究.结果表明:(1) 沙地生境中沙拐枣以有性繁殖为主.固定沙丘、半流动沙丘丘间低地、迎风坡和背风坡萌蘖苗密度占总密度的比值分别为35%、45%、2%、9%;实生苗密度比值分别为65%、55%、98%、91%.(2)不同生境中沙拐枣种群都为增长型种群;(3) 固定沙丘、半流动沙丘迎风坡、背风坡、丘间低地中,沙拐枣种群无性繁殖的扩张域和平均扩张速率分别为1~5m和0.67m/a、1~8m和0.64m/a、0~2m和0.15m/a、1~4m和0.41m/a.同时,3种生境中沙拐枣种群密度及其扩张速率都随着年龄的增长而下降.(4)沙拐枣种群在侵入新的生境过程中,开始于有性繁殖,利用无性繁殖拓展生存空间.  相似文献

用因子分析的方法确定影响沙丘固定程度的主导因素,并根据其共同度在总方差中所占比例来确定各主导因素的权重,然后对原始数据进行无量纲化处理,通过加权平均的方法计算出各样地沙丘固定程度的综合指数α。结果表明:(1)流动沙丘的α值一般低于0.6,半固定沙丘的α值介于0.6-0.7之间。固定沙丘的α值大于0.7;(2)单纯以植被盖度或特定植物种作为判断依据是片面的;(3)灌丛和土壤对沙丘的固定和演化起着非常重要的多重积极作用,应当加强对其保护和人工抚育工作。  相似文献

凋落物是植被土壤系统之间重要的物质和能量通道之一,在生态脆弱区植被和土壤修复过程中发挥着特殊的功能和作用.以科尔沁沙地流动沙丘、固定沙丘和草地为对象,通过连续测定9个生长季凋落物量,并结合气温与降水量数据,研究沙地生态系统不同生境的凋落物年际和年内动态及其调控因子.结果表明:不同生境植被年凋落物大小依次为:流动沙丘(9.01 g·m-2)<固定沙丘(67.46 g·m-2)<草地(119.55 g·m-2).凋落物总量年际动态波动明显,固定沙丘年际变化呈“双峰”曲线,草地年际变化呈“W”型曲线.凋落物量年内变化均表现为“U”型曲线,在4和9月出现高峰值.降水量和气温对固定沙丘和草地凋落物量月际动态影响显著,而对不同生境条件下凋落物量年际变化影响均不显著.气温是影响该沙地生态系统生长季(4—9月)凋落物量月动态的主要因素.  相似文献

Question: Does aspect affect hydroseeding success and the development of vegetation during early vegetation establishment on the steep slopes of coal wastes during the reclamation process? Location: Open‐pit coal mine near Villanueva de la Peña, northern Spain. Methods: In the first year after hydroseeding, we monitored the dynamics of hydroseeded species in three permanent plots of 20 m2 on north‐ and south‐facing slopes every two months. Soil properties and weather conditions were also monitored. Results: Aspect was related to total plant cover during early revegetation, and south‐facing slopes had the lowest cover. Aspect also influenced the early dynamics of hydroseeded grasses and legumes establishing on these slopes. Grass cover was greater on the north slope throughout the study, but differences in plant cover between north and south slopes appeared later for the legumes. Aspect also affected the relative contribution of both of grasses and legumes to the total plant cover, with grasses dominant on both northern and southern slopes, except during the summer on the southern slope. The species with the greatest difference in cover between the north‐ and south‐facing slopes were Festuca spp., Lolium perenne and Trifolium repens. Conclusion: In coal mine reclamation areas of Mediterranean climates, differences in the development of hydroseeded species depended on the slope of the coal mine reclamation areas, and this information is of importance to managers in selecting species for use in reclamation.  相似文献

Phytosociological parameters, soil and temperature conditions, importance values of species, life form, leaf size and grass biomass in vegetation of Pirghar Hills, South Waziristan Agency, Pakistan, were investigated during summer 1995. The air and soil temperatures were higher on south facing slopes which decreased with increase in altitude.The vegetation, life form and leaf size of south and north slopes differed at similaraltitudes. Leptophyllous species increased with the rise in altitude. The fresh herbage production was 500 g m-2 at 2000 m on north slope which gradually decreased to 170 g m-2 at the hill top. A similar trend was observed for the south slope which had higher productivity than comparable north slope. The original woody species are present on the hills as isolated individuals due to degradation. There is need for restoration of the habitat.  相似文献

Questions

The degree to which renosterveld shrublands are fire‐dependent is currently unclear. To address this issue, the following questions were asked: (1) does smoke stimulate germination of soil‐stored seeds in renosterveld; (2) does recently‐burned renosterveld display changed composition and higher diversity than unburned vegetation; and (3) how do the species compositions of renosterveld soil seed banks and standing vegetation compare?

Location

Swartland, Cape Floristic Region, South Africa.

Methods

Soil seed bank samples from a north‐ and south‐facing slope were smoke‐treated and germinated to test for smoke‐stimulated germination. Burned standing vegetation was surveyed 16 months post‐fire, as was unburned vegetation on the same slopes. Seed bank species richness and density were compared between smoke‐treated and untreated samples within and between slopes. Burned and unburned standing vegetation were compared within and between slopes in terms of species richness, abundance and aerial cover. Compositional similarity of the seed banks and standing vegetation was assessed.

Results

Seed banks were dominated by annuals and graminoids. Smoke treatment had no effect, except for driving significantly higher species richness and seedling density in south‐facing slope perennial shrubs. Species richness and seedling density were significantly higher in seed banks on the south‐facing slope compared to the north‐facing slope. Burned standing vegetation exhibited significantly higher diversity than unburned vegetation. Annuals and graminoids displayed significantly higher species richness and aerial cover in burned renosterveld. The north‐facing slope contained less than half the number of species/m2 compared to the south‐facing slope. The seed banks and standing vegetation showed low to intermediate similarity (Sørensen = 31%–53%), but grouped close together on an NMDS plot, suggesting intermediate similarity overall.

Conclusions

Elevated germination of perennial shrubs in smoke‐treated seed bank samples and increased diversity of post‐fire standing vegetation suggest the renosterveld in this study shows elements of a fire‐driven system. Certain species only recruited in burned sites, suggesting fire‐stimulated germination. Aspect had a major influence on plant community composition, with the mesic south‐facing slope being more diverse than the xeric north‐facing slope. The similarity between the seed banks and standing vegetation was higher than previously shown for renosterveld, and appears to be higher than for fynbos.  相似文献

Fourteen cold tolerant phosphate solubilizing bacteria isolated from high altitude representative locations of the two major mountain aspects of the Uttarakhand Himalayas (cooler north and warmer south facing slopes) were selected for this study. The tricalcium phosphate (TCP) solubilizing abilities of the isolates were estimated at three different incubation temperatures viz., 4, 15, and 30°C under in vitro conditions. Irrespective of their geographical origin, all the isolates recorded maximum P release values at 30°C. At 4°C, the isolates from the north facing slope were found to release significantly higher levels of P, as compared to the isolates from the south facing slopes. Alternatively at 15°C, the isolates from the south facing slope were found to release significantly higher levels of P. Initial confirmation of their genus level identity as Pseudomonads was arrived by amplification of a 990 bp fragment of the 16S rRNA gene using genus specific primers. Further putative species level identification was arrived by sequencing of the 16S rRNA gene. The diversity among the isolates was determined by rep-PCR using the primers BOX, ERIC, and ERIC2. A composite dendrogram constructed using the rep-PCR profiles revealed that the isolates from the north and south mountain aspects formed separate major clusters. The extent of diversity was greater among the isolates from the south mountain aspect. This study reveals the potential of rep-PCR in determining the genetic diversity among Pseudomonads selected for a single functional trait, but varying in their geographical origin.  相似文献

利用2000-2016年MODIS NDVI数据,采用趋势分析及地形差异修正法,探讨秦岭山地植被覆盖变化在南北坡、不同海拔以及不同坡度坡向下的空间分异性。结果表明:近17年来,秦岭山地植被覆盖度良好,整体呈上升趋势,南北坡、不同海拔、不同坡度、不同坡向下植被覆盖度有所差异,植被变化趋势也不同。(1)就南北坡而言,近17年来秦岭南坡植被覆盖度上升趋势大于北坡,南坡植被覆盖以上升趋势为主,而北坡以稳定为主。(2)不同的海拔高度上秦岭山地植被覆盖变化在存在分异性:低海拔区域呈减少趋势,中海拔区呈明显的上升趋势,2000 m以上的高海拔区域北坡的植被覆盖度较为稳定,而南坡的2500到3100 m区域内有较明显的减小趋势。(3)从坡度来看,随着坡度的增加秦岭山地植被覆盖度由减少转为增加再转为稳定,南北坡植被变化分异性不明显。(4)不同坡向上,秦岭南北坡植被覆盖度变化差异明显,由阴坡转为阳坡时,北坡植被覆盖有明显的增长趋势,而南坡则不明显,植被覆盖度减小区在南北坡的分布呈相反趋势,分别分布在南坡的阳坡以及北坡的阴坡。  相似文献

Alpine environments are currently relatively free from non‐native plant species, although their presence and abundance have recently been on the rise. It is however still unclear whether the observed low invasion levels in these areas are due to an inherent resistance of the alpine zone to invasions or whether an exponential increase in invasion is just a matter of time. Using a seed‐addition experiment on north‐ and south‐facing slopes (cf. microclimatic gradient) on two mountains in subarctic Sweden, we tested the establishment of six non‐native species at an elevation above their current distribution limits and under experimentally enhanced anthropogenic pressures (disturbance, added nutrients and increased propagule pressure). We found a large microclimatic variability in cumulative growing degree days (GDD) (range = 500.77°C, SD = 120.70°C) due to both physiographic (e.g. aspect) and biophysical (e.g. vegetation cover) features, the latter being altered by the experimental disturbance. Non‐native species establishment and biomass production were positively correlated with GDD along the studied microclimatic gradient. However, even though establishment on the north‐facing slopes caught up with that on the south‐facing slopes throughout the growing season, biomass production was limited on the north‐facing slopes due to a shorter growing season. On top of this microclimatic effect, all experimentally imposed anthropogenic factors enhanced non‐native species success. The observed microclimatic effect indicates a potential for non‐native species to use warm microsites as stepping stones for their establishment towards the cold end of the gradient. Combined with anthropogenic pressures this result suggests an increasing risk for plant invasion in cold ecosystems, as such stepping stones in alpine ecosystems are likely to be more common in a future that will combine a warming climate with persistent anthropogenic pressures.  相似文献

In semiarid Mediterranean areas, the widespread environmental impact caused by the construction of motorways, railways, and pipelines has created an increasing need for effective restoration. We examined the influence of slope characteristics on vegetation and water erosion on 71 motorway slopes in a semiarid Mediterranean region. Specifically, we studied the effect of slope angle, type (roadfill vs. roadcut) and aspect (north vs. south) on soil properties, vegetation cover, species richness, floristic composition, and water‐caused erosion. Temporal dynamics of soil water content was monitored and related to the soil water potential in order to explain possible differences in vegetation cover between slope types. The main factors influencing vegetation on motorway slopes were the angle, type, and aspect of the slope. Vegetation was almost completely lacking on roadcuts with slopes greater than 45°. On gentler slopes, vegetation cover was 44–78% on roadfills but did not reach 10% on roadcuts, regardless of aspect. The main soil properties affected by the slope type and aspect were the organic matter content, soil available P, and water content. Rill erosion, gully erosion, and mass movement were all significantly higher on roadcuts than roadfills. A total of 308 spontaneous colonizers and seeded species were recorded. The type and aspect of the slope also controlled species composition. The short duration of available water in the soil with respect to soil water potential proved to be a limiting factor to plant colonization on roadcuts and south‐facing slopes as well as the low soil fertility in the case of roadcuts. Our results underscore the difficulty of revegetating slopes with angles greater than 45°, where the probability of seeds moving downhill is high. Future efforts should focus on increasing the surface roughness or building terraces at regular intervals in order to reduce slope angle to less than 45° and favor seed trapping and germination. On gentler slopes, adjusting of seed mixes according to dominant species associated with each slope type and aspect should improve considerably the success of roadside revegetation.  相似文献

植物群落功能多样性对于维持生态系统功能具有十分重要的意义。该研究以青藏高原高寒草甸植物群落为研究对象,运用R软件程序包(FD、Vegan)与单因素方差分析法,分析高寒草甸不同坡向植物群落功能多样性的变化及其与环境因子的关系,以揭示微生境梯度上植物对环境的适应策略以及群落种间功能特征及生态系统内部结构和功能的变化机制。结果显示:(1)青藏高原高寒草甸的北坡和西北坡的物种丰富度、植物株高、比叶面积、叶片有机碳、叶片氮以及叶片磷显著高于其他坡向,且坡向间差异显著(P<0.05)。(2)在北坡到南坡的变化中,功能丰富度差异比较明显(P<0.05),株高、比叶面积、叶片有机碳、叶片氮及叶片磷等功能丰富度均呈递减趋势。(3)北坡的株高功能均匀度、西北坡比叶面积、叶片有机碳、叶片氮及叶片磷等功能均匀度均显著高于南坡,且多元性状功能均匀度在坡向间差异显著(P<0.05)。(4)北坡的比叶面积、叶片氮功能离散度及西北坡的株高、叶片有机碳、叶片磷等功能离散度均高于南坡,且坡向间差异显著(P<0.05)。(5)植物群落功能多样性与土壤含水量、土壤有机碳、土壤全氮、土壤全磷呈显著正相关关系(P<0.05),与坡度、土壤pH、土温、照度呈显著负相关关系(P<0.05)。  相似文献

From 2001 to 2004 we experimentally warmed 40 large, naturally established, white spruce [Picea glauca (Moench) Voss] seedlings at alpine treeline in southwest Yukon, Canada, using passive open‐top chambers (OTCs) distributed equally between opposing north and south‐facing slopes. Our goal was to test the hypothesis that an increase in temperature consistent with global climate warming would elicit a positive growth response. OTCs increased growing season air temperatures by 1.8°C and annual growing degree‐days by one‐third. In response, warmed seedlings grew significantly taller and had higher photosynthetic rates compared with control seedlings. On the south aspect, soil temperatures averaged 1.0°C warmer and the snow‐free period was nearly 1 month longer. These seedlings grew longer branches and wider annual rings than seedlings on the north aspect, but had reduced Photosystem‐II efficiency and experienced higher winter needle mortality. The presence of OTCs tended to reduce winter dieback over the course of the experiment. These results indicate that climate warming will enhance vertical growth rates of young conifers, with implications for future changes to the structure and elevation of treeline contingent upon exposure‐related differences. Our results suggest that the growth of seedlings on north‐facing slopes is limited by low soil temperature in the presence of permafrost, while growth on south‐facing slopes appears limited by winter desiccation and cold‐induced photoinhibition.  相似文献

Increasing severity of Swiss needle cast (SNC), a foliar disease of Douglas‐fir caused by the fungus Phaeocryptopus gaeumannii, has become a matter of concern in forest plantations throughout coastal Oregon and Washington. This study monitored SNC disease in three Oregon Douglas‐fir plantations bi‐annually in 1998–1999, and compared differences in fungal colonization and symptom development in trees from north‐ and south‐facing plots at each plantation. Fungal colonization as quantified by ergosterol content, pseudothecia density and quantitative PCR was significantly correlated with symptom severity (needle retention and needle cholorosis). All three measures of fungal colonization were highly correlated with each other; and only the ergosterol–pseudothecia relationship differed between plots, presumably due to the non‐species specific nature of ergosterol measurements. Differences in symptom severity and fungal colonization between north‐ and south‐aspect plots were consistent with climate differences. At low to moderate levels of infection, trees growing on warmer (i.e. south slopes in the western, and north slopes in the eastern Coast Range) slopes had higher levels of colonization, particularly during the winter months. Plots with southern exposures, which received greater amounts of solar radiation, had greater amounts of needle abscission compared to north‐aspect plots with similar amounts of fungal colonization. As a result, greater fungal abundance and symptom expression developed on south‐aspect slopes within the Oregon Coast Range.  相似文献
