Plasma testosterone and progesterone concentrations were measured in captive woolly opossums, a didelphid marsupial originating from neotropical forests in French Guyana. Although not exposed to cyclic environmental conditions as in the field, both sexes exhibited spontaneous circannual changes in sexual hormones. Males showed synchronous variations in plasma testosterone characterized by significant elevated concentrations during April and September (8.6 +/- 1 ng/ml, N = 5) and lower levels from May to July (3.6 +/- 0.4 ng/ml). In females, synchronous periods of 2-3 successive oestrous cycles occurred. Between these periods, females remained acyclic. The oestrous cycle, determined by urogenital smears, lasted 28-45 days (n = 14) and included a 20-day spontaneous luteal phase in which progesterone concentrations reached 30-40 ng/ml plasma. Even though testosterone concentrations in paired males increased significantly in response to oestrous periods of the paired females, spontaneous circannual rhythms of sexual activity were not well synchronized between the sexes in captivity. When compared to field data, sexual activity of captive animals followed a pattern similar to that in wild animals, without any changes in males but with a delay of 3 months in females.  相似文献

Plasma progesterone concentrations were recorded during one breeding season in 19 lesser mouse lemur females living in different social conditions. The oestrous cycle length and the progesterone profile mainly depended on the social environment of the female. For totally isolated females, the oestrous cycle lasted 38 +/- 5.7 days and included a 25-30-days spontaneous luteal phase with a progesterone peak about 100 ng/ml between the 20th and 25th days after oestrus, and a prolonged preovulatory period of 10-15 days which could be considered equivalent to the follicular phase of a menstrual cycle. When females were able to communicate through olfactory, visual and auditory signals, the oestrous cycle was significantly lengthened (53.7 +/- 5.9 days). When females had tactile contacts, the oestrous cycle was further lengthened (62.7 +/- 0.8 days). This lengthening of the oestrous cycle was related to an extension of the luteal phase associated with a decrease in progesterone concentrations during this period. In females maintained with one male (paired) or with males and females (heterosexually grouped), large individual variations were shown in cycle lengths or in progesterone concentrations. In these females, cycle lengths and progesterone concentrations were inversely correlated to plasma cortisol concentrations.  相似文献

The general pattern of steroid secretion during the 30-day oestrous cycle of the Cape porcupine is that of a surge (25-176 pg/ml) in oestradiol-17 beta secretion at the time of perforation of the vaginal closure membrane, followed by an increase in progesterone concentrations, the latter attaining peak values (mean 5.9 +/- 2.1 ng/ml) 8-19 days (13.8 +/- 2.8 days) after vaginal opening. Copulation occurred after the oestradiol-17 beta surge and the length of the luteal phase of the cycle varied from 21 to 35 days (29.3 +/- 4.7 days), this representing 93% of the length of the cycle. Perforation of the vaginal closure membrane was not always accompanied by an increase in oestradiol-17 beta levels and some instances (19%) of vaginal opening were not followed by an increase in progesterone secretion. The hormonal characteristics of the oestrous cycle of females housed with vasectomized males were similar to those of females housed with intact males.  相似文献

This study examines the length of the oestrous cycle in 16 Iberian red deer females assessed by means of changes in progesterone concentrations, along with the changes in the profile of this hormone. Samples were collected three occasions per week from the week after calving (15 May to 15 June) up to May of the following year. The oestrous cycle lasted 19.57+/-0.29 days (range 10-27 d) calculated in 130 oestrous cycles examined. Progesterone titres did not rise above 0.5 ng/ml in the follicular phase, except in four samples. The maximum peak in progesterone concentration during the luteal phase remained above 1 ng/ml in most cases. Twenty-five percent of the individuals studied (4 out of 16) showed an oestrous cycle lasting shorter than the mean (15.2+/-0.30 days) before the start of the reproductive season, followed by a period of sexual inactivity. The standard progesterone profile in natural oestrous cycles rose from basal levels to those above 0.5 ng/ml four days after onset of oestrus, reached a peak of 1.71+/-0.07 ng/ml and then declined to less than 0.2 ng/ml after day 20. Following the rapid decline of progesterone after day 14, the concentration remained around the baseline level of 0.1 to 0.2 ng/ml during the immediate pre- and post-ovulatory phase of the cycle.  相似文献

The effect of fasting during oestrous cycle on the occurrence of oestrous and concentration of leptin and steroid hormones was investigated in goats. Sixteen Ardi goats of 10-12 month of age were split into two groups (control and fasting). Oestrous was synchronized with intravaginal progesterone sponges and detected 24h after sponge removal. Blood samples were collected at the days 5, 10, 15 of each cycle. Fasting of mature goats twice for 4 days starting on day 10 of two successive oestrous cycles inhibited oestrous behaviour and resulted in reduced concentration of leptin, progesterone and testosterone with different timing. Day 5 of the second cycle showed significant decrease in the plasma level of leptin (1.6+/-0.15 ng/ml) and progesterone (1.6+/-0.1 ng/ml) as compared to control group (3.2+/-0.15 ng/ml and 4.1+/-0.2 ng/ml, respectively). Testosterone started to decrease from day 10 of the second cycle (35.0+/-12.0 pg/ml) as compared to control group (65.0+/-15.0 pg/ml); the decrease in this hormone was significant in day 15 of the second cycle (65.0+/-16.0 pg/ml) as compared to the control (320.0+/-50.0 pg/ml). These data suggest that fasting-induced inadequate corpus luteum function, hence, lowering progesterone plasma level may partly be more leptin-dependent than the following decrease in plasma level of testosterone.  相似文献

To investigate the endocrine cause of reproductive suppression in nonbreeding female naked mole-rats, animals from 35 colonies were studied in captivity. Urinary and plasma progesterone concentrations were elevated in pregnant females (urine: 10.0-148.4 ng/mg Cr, 27 samples from 8 females; plasma: 3.6-30.0 ng/ml, 5 samples from 5 females; Days 21-40 of pregnancy) and cyclic breeding females (urine: 0.5-97.8 ng/mg Cr, 146 samples from 7 females; plasma: less than 1.0-35.4 ng/ml, 25 samples from 7 females). The latter group showed cyclic patterns of urinary progesterone, indicating a mean ovarian cycle length of 34.4 +/- 1.6 days (mean +/- s.e.m.) with a follicular phase of 6.0 +/- 0.6 days and a luteal phase of 27.5 +/- 1.3 days (19 cycles from 9 breeding females). In non-breeding females urinary and plasma progesterone values were undetectable (urine: less than 0.5 ng/mg Cr, 232 samples from 64 females; plasma: less than 1.0 ng/ml, 7 samples from 6 females). Breeding females had higher (P less than 0.001) plasma LH concentrations (3.0 +/- 0.2 mi.u./ml, 73 samples from 24 females) than did non-breeding females (1.6 +/- 0.1 mi.u./ml, 57 samples from 44 females). Urinary and plasma progesterone concentrations in non-breeding females from wild colonies situated near Mtito Andei, Kenya, were either below the assay sensitivity limit (urine: less than 0.5 ng/mg Cr, 11 females from 2 colonies; plasma: less than 1.0 ng/ml, 25 females from 4 colonies), or very low (plasma: 1.6 +/- 0.6 ng/ml, 15 females from 4 colonies). In captivity, non-breeding females removed from their colonies (i.e. the dominant breeding female) and either paired directly with a non-breeding male (N = 2), or removed and housed singly for 6 weeks before pairing with a non-breeding male (N = 5) may develop a perforate vagina for the first time in as little as 7 days. Urinary progesterone concentrations rose above 2.0 ng/mg Cr (indicative of a luteal phase) for the first time 8.0 +/- 1.9 days after being separated. These results suggest that ovulation is suppressed in subordinate non-breeding female naked mole-rats in captive and wild colonies, and show that plasma LH concentrations are significantly lower in these non-breeding females. This reproductive block in non-breeding females is readily reversible if the social factors suppressing reproduction are removed.  相似文献

Peripheral plasma concentrations of progesterone, total oestrogens and testosterone (measured by RIAs) and LH (monitored by the mouse Leydig cell bio-assay) were measured in 8 female camels for a complete oestrous cycle (23.1 +/- 1.2 days). The absence of an LH surge and a low concentration of progesterone (less than 1 ng/ml) during oestrus (5 days) and throughout the cycle indicated a failure of spontaneous ovulation and absence of a subsequent luteal phase in this species. High concentrations of testosterone and oestrogens indicated that the oestrous cycle in the camel is mostly follicular and that the increasing values of the two hormones during follicular development (5 days) is probably the stimulus to behavioural oestrus.  相似文献

Testosterone, oestradiol and progesterone were measured in peripheral plasma during the oestrous cycle of 6 heifers. Oestradiol and progesterone results confirmed earlier reports. Concentration of testosterone on the day of oestrus was 40+/-3 pg/ml (mean+/-S.E.M.), and two peaks were detected during the cycle, one 7 days before oestrus (1809+/-603 pg/ml) and the other (78+/- 7 pg/ml) on the day before the onset of oestrus. The concentration of progesterone declined in most cases 1 day after the maximum concentration of testosterone. Betamethasone treatment in 5 heifers extended luteal function by an average of 10 days: plasma androstenedione and oestradiol concentrations were unaltered; cortisol values were depressed for at least 16 days after treatment; testosterone concentrations were lowered by 13+/-2-4% during treatment, and except in one heifer the peak on Day -7 was abolished.  相似文献

The woodchuck is a seasonally breeding sciurid rodent. Female woodchucks are monoestrous and, when isolated from males, remain in a prolonged period of estrus characterized by a clear predominance of cornified cells in the vaginal smear. This study was designed to characterize relationships between the degree of vaginal cornification and sexual receptivity, and to study ovulation and related phenomena of this species in captivity. Fourteen individually caged adult females, maintained under standard laboratory conditions for 9-23 mo, were used in this investigation. Females exhibiting predominantly (67-97%) cornified smears were always receptive, regardless of the time interval from the onset of estrus, and mated within 24 h of pairing. Mated females allowed to complete pregnancy gave birth to live pups 30-32 days later. Litter size ranged from 3-7 pups. Serum progesterone (P) levels increased to approximately 2 ng/ml during the first week of pregnancy and greater than 5 ng/ml during the second and third weeks of pregnancy. Serum estradiol (E2) levels were elevated during the first week of pregnancy and began to decline thereafter. Examination of ovarian serial sections revealed that ovulation took place between 20 and 32 h after copulation. Serum levels increased significantly (4-fold) after ovulation (1.2 +/- 0.3 vs. 0.3 +/- 0.01 ng/ml). However, the circulating levels of E2 remained unchanged between the periods before (53 +/- 1 pg/ml) and after ovulation (60 +/- 3 pg/ml). Ovulation was not simultaneous in all mature follicles.(ABSTRACT TRUNCATED AT 250 WORDS)  相似文献

Reproductive cycles were studied in a group of tame Père David's deer hinds. The non-pregnant hind is seasonally polyoestrous and, in animals studied over 2 years, the breeding season began in early August (2 August +/- 3.3 days; s.e.m., N = 9) and ended in mid-December (18 December +/- 5.7 days; N = 8) and early January (6 January +/- 3.2 days; N = 11) in consecutive years. During the anoestrous period, plasma progesterone concentrations were low (0.2 +/- 0.01 ng/ml) or non-detectable. There was a small, transient increase in progesterone values before the onset of the first cycle of the breeding season. In daily samples taken during an oestrous cycle in which hinds were mated by a marked vasectomized stag, progesterone concentrations remained low (less than 0.5 ng/ml) for a period of about 6 days around the time of oestrus, showed a significant increase above oestrous levels by Day 4 (Day 0 = day of oestrus) and then continued to increase for 18 +/- 2.8 days to reach mean maximum luteal levels of 3.5 +/- 0.6 ng/ml. The plasma progesterone profiles from a number of animals indicated that marking of the hinds by the vasectomized stag did not occur at each ovulation during the breeding season and therefore an estimate of the cycle length could not be determined by this method. In the following year, detection of oestrus in 5 hinds was based on behavioural observations made in the absence of the stag. A total of 19 oestrous cycles with a mean length of 19.5 +/- 0.6 days was observed.(ABSTRACT TRUNCATED AT 250 WORDS)  相似文献

Investigation were carried out to study the norms of progesterone concentration in the blood serum of buffaloes during various phases of oestrous cycle. Twenty four animals (12 heifers and 12 cows) were used. The blood serum samples were stored at -20 degrees C until processed for progesterone assay. The progesterone concentrations were measured by the radioimmunoassay technique. The progesterone levels were 0.360 +/- 0.062 and 0.334 +/- 0.066 ng/ml on the day of oestrus in buffalo-heifers and buffalo-cows, respectively. The values were around 1 ng/ml till day 6, followed by a gradual increase to a peak average value of 4.888 +/- 0.399 and 5.119 +/- 0.415 ng/ml on day 15 of the cycle in heifers and cows, respectively. Thereafter, the progesterone concentration fell abruptly to a level similar to that at oestrus. The mean progesterone value a day before oestrus was 0.488 +/- 0.067 and 0.577 +/- 0.053 ng/ml in buffalo-heifers and buffalo-cows, respectively. The mean progesterone concentration of different days of the cycle (except day 16) did not differ significantly (P / -0.01) between heifers and cows.  相似文献

Sexually mature female Cape porcupines kept under natural conditions of illumination and temperature did not conceive while housed within their natal groups. Before removal from their natal groups the sexually mature offspring copulated and experienced cyclic ovarian activity, but conception occurred only 70-120 days after dispersal. Mean oestrous cycle length of these females (36.9 +/- 11.5 days; n = 34) was similar to that of breeding females (33.0 +/- 11.64 days; n = 16), but mean peak plasma progesterone concentration (6.45 +/- 6.03 ng/ml; n = 34) was significantly (P less than 0.01) lower than that of cyclic breeding females (13.58 +/- 6.98 ng/ml; n = 16). Mean progesterone concentration at oestrus in non-breeding females (0.72 +/- 0.45 ng/ml; n = 34) was also significantly (P less than 0.01) lower than that of non-pregnant breeding females (4.21 +/- 2.44 ng/ml; n = 16). Reproductive inhibition within natal groups, in which only one female reproduces, therefore cannot be ascribed to a failure to copulate, but may be due to some factor inhibiting full expression of luteal activity or affecting ovulation.  相似文献

The onset of sexual cycle postpartum was described in the collared peccary (Tayassu tajacu). Serum progesterone and 17beta-estradiol profiles, vaginal smears and external genitalia were analyzed in 20 animals housed with their piglets during the first postpartum month. The appearance of external genitalia showed no variation in any of the females: a shallow, reddish vulva, and vaginal mucus were constant features throughout the study. Based on hormonal profiles and vaginal smear cell patterns, 16 (80%) of the 20 peccaries showed signs of estrus and were considered cycling. The remaining four females (20%) did no show signs of estrus confirmed by low levels of progesterone (0.9+/-0.4 ng/mL) during the first postpartum month. In the cycling peccaries, a serum 17beta-estradiol peak (53.4+/-8.1 pg/mL) was observed on Day 7+/-1 postpartum, along with a linear increase in progesterone concentration from 3 (4.3+/-2.6 ng/mL) to 11 (30.8+/-4.9 ng/mL) days after this estradiol peak. Proportions of the different cells of the vaginal epithelium also changed in these females: superficial plus intermediate cells amounted to 76% of the cell total between Days 6 and 9 postpartum, corresponding to the estradiol peak. Nine (56%) of the 16 cycling females mated, indicated by the presence of sperm cells in their vaginal smears, and 6 (67%) became pregnant, reaching term. Non-pregnant cycling females (n=10) showed a steady decrease in serum progesterone concentration from 11 to 23 days after the estradiol peak, when basal levels were attained and a new estradiol peak registered, indicating the resumption of cyclicity in these females. The time interval between the two estradiol peaks was 23.5+/-2.1 days in these females. In pregnant females, progesterone concentrations continued to rise to levels of 60 ng/mL (n=6) 23 days after mating. These findings indicate that the lactating collared peccary female can become cycling and fertile during the early postpartum period, and that a predominance of superficial plus intermediate vaginal cells can be taken as the first sign of estrus.  相似文献

The goals of this study were to develop and validate a radioimmunoassay (RIA) for measurement of unconjugated progesterone (P) concentrations in the urine of red howler monkeys (Alouatta seniculus) and to use urinary P profiles to characterize the reproductive cycle of this species. Analysis of P profiles from two females provided a preliminary estimate of the length of the estrous cycle (mean days +/- S.E.M. = 29.5 +/- 1.5; n = 2), and indicated that one female red howler copulated throughout two apparent estrous cycles. Urinary P concentrations during two confirmed pregnancies (211.8 +/- 29.7 ng P/ml) were higher (P < 0.05) than during the luteal phase (77.4 +/- 10.6 ng P/ml; n = 4) of the cycle.  相似文献

Administration of 10 mg estradiol valerate (EV) to nonlactating Holstein cows on Days 16 of the estrous cycle prevented ovulation in 7 of 8 cows for 14 days post-injection. In these 7 cows, the timing of luteolysis and the luteinizing hormone (LH) surge was variable but within the normal range. At 14 days post-treatment, each of these cows had a large (greater than 10 mm) follicle, with 558 +/- 98 ng/ml estradiol-17 beta, 120 +/- 31 ng/ml testosterone, and 31 +/- 2 ng/ml progesterone in follicular fluid (means +/- SE). A second group of animals was then either treated with EV as before (n = 22), or not injected (control, n = 17) and ovariectomized on either Day 17, Day 18.5, Day 20, or Day 21.5 (24, 60, 96, or 132 h post-EV). Treatment with EV did not influence the timing of luteolysis, but surges of LH occurred earlier (59 +/- 8 h post-EV vs. 100 +/- 11 h in controls). The interval from luteolysis to LH peak was reduced from 44 +/- 6 h (controls) to 6.9 +/- 1.5 h (treated). Histologically, the largest follicle in controls tended to be atretic before luteolysis, but nonatretic afterwards, whereas the largest follicle in treated animals always tended to be atretic. Nonatretic follicles contained high concentrations of estradiol (408 +/- 59 ng/ml) and moderate amounts of testosterone (107 +/- 33 ng/ml) and progesterone (101 +/- 21 ng/ml), whereas atretic follicles contained low concentrations of estradiol (8 +/- 4 ng/ml) and testosterone (12 +/- 4 ng/ml), and either low (56 +/- 24 ng/ml) or very high (602 +/- 344 ng/ml) concentrations of progesterone. This study suggests that EV prevents ovulation by inducing atresia of the potential preovulatory follicle, which is replaced by a healthy large follicle by 14 days post-treatment.  相似文献

There is limited information available on the oestrous cycle of female southern hairy-nosed wombats (Lasiorhinus latifrons). This is mainly due to an extremely poor breeding success in captivity and the difficulty in routine recapturing of these cryptic, semi-fossorial animals in the wild. The aim of this study was to characterise the oestrous cycle of this species by monitoring peripheral plasma concentrations of progesterone and oestradiol, assessing changes in vaginal cytology, pouch condition and the urogenital sinus. Eight adult female wombats were monitored during the breeding season (July-December) over 2 years (2002-2003). Samples were collected up to three times a week. Vaginal smears contained several cell types, categorised by morphology, as either superficial epithelial cells or parabasal-intermediate cells. Leucocytes were also counted. Plasma progesterone profiles showed a mean oestrous cycle length of 36.33+/-0.67 days with a peak progesterone concentration of 139.53+/-10.62nmol/L. Levels of oestradiol peaked at a mean level of 467.33+/-44.32pmol/L on average 5 days before a rise in plasma progesterone values. The proportion of epithelial cells in vaginal smears varied throughout the cycle, with a high percentage of superficial epithelial cells observed during the follicular phase. During periods when progesterone concentrations were high, a greater percentage of parabasal-intermediate cells was observed. In conclusion, this study has characterised the oestrous cycle of the southern hairy-nosed wombat and confirmed that changes in vaginal smears together with pouch and urogenital sinus details could be used to determine signs of oestrus in this species.  相似文献

Eight male naked mole-rats, from three colonies were studied in captivity. When non-breeding male naked mole-rats were removed from their colonies and paired with a non-breeding female, or removed and housed singly for 6 weeks before pairing with a female, concentrations of urinary testosterone and plasma luteinizing hormone (LH) increased significantly (P less than 0.05). Concentration of these hormones were highest while the males were singly housed: urinary testosterone (mean +/- s.e.m.) increased from 8.2 +/- 1.3 ng/mg urinary creatinine (Cr) in a non-breeder in a colony to 49.1 +/- 5.5 ng/mg Cr when singly housed and 21.8 +/- 2.5 ng/mg Cr when paired with a female. Plasma LH concentrations increased from 4.7 +/- 1.0 miu/ml when a non-breeder in a colony to 19.8 +/- 4.0 miu/ml when singly housed and 9.9 +/- 1.1 miu/ml when paired with a female. After pairing with a female, the pattern of urinary testosterone secretion in the male was synchronized with the ovarian cycle of the female mate, such that urinary testosterone concentrations were significantly higher during the early follicular phase of the female's cycle (P less than 0.05). These results suggest that active suppression of reproductive physiology by social cues occurs in non-breeding male naked mole-rats, and that this is readily reversible if social cues are removed and males are housed singly. When a male was subsequently paired with a female, endocrine suppression was partially reimposed on the reproductively active males, such that urinary testosterone concentrations were suppressed to values similar to those in non-breeding males, except for periods prior to mating.(ABSTRACT TRUNCATED AT 250 WORDS)  相似文献

This trial examined the effects of feeding six diets, which varied in either amount or composition, during the oestrous cycle prior to insemination on embryo survival and foetal development on day 27+/-2 of pregnancy in gilts. Ten or 11 gilts per group received either a maintenance (M) diet, 1.8 x M, 2.6 x M or nutritionally balanced diets in which the content of fibre, protein or starch was increased. Of the six diets tested, only the high fibre diet significantly increased embryo survival when compared to its 1.8 x M isoenergetic control (88.20+/-1.96% versus 81.25+/-2.67%; P<0.05). More litters from gilts fed the 1.8 x M and the starch diets had foetuses defined as intra-uterine growth retarded (IUGR; 50% and 62.5 of litters, respectively), compared to the other four groups in which 0-12.5% of litters contained IUGR foetuses (P<0.05). There was no effect of dietary treatment on foetal or placental size or on the within-litter variability in foetal and placental size. Plasma concentrations of oestradiol and progesterone on days 4-8 of the oestrous cycle and on day 27+/-2 of pregnancy were unaffected by treatment. Feed intake was positively related to mean plasma IGF-1 concentrations on days 4-8 of the cycle (P<0.01) and to mean leptin concentrations on days 4 and 5 (P<0.001). Leptin concentrations were unaffected by alterations in the composition of the diet, whereas IGF-1 concentrations were higher in gilts fed the starch diet compared to the M control (159+/-9.52 versus 127+/-7.65 ng/ml; P<0.05). These data demonstrate that alteration to the composition of the feed consumed during the cycle before insemination can affect both embryo survival and the distribution of foetal size within the litter. The underlying mechanism(s) remain to be determined, but probably involve dietary-induced changes in concentrations of reproductive hormones and/or intermediary metabolites that in turn affect ovarian follicular and oocyte development.  相似文献

Observations of the behaviour of squirrel monkeys, including 8 opposite-sex pairs during daily 30-min social encounters and 2 mixed-sex permanent groups during daily 30-min observation sessions, over a 14-month period were used to determine the periodicity of the oestrous cycle and annual mating season. The median and modal length of the oestrous cycle was 8 days, within which copulations were limited to a 1--2 day period. In a cyclic female, plasma progesterone levels over a 24-day period dropped from 85--151 ng/ml to 25 ng/ml 2 days before oestrus. In non-cyclic females plasma progesterone values were less than 15-4 ng/ml. Males exhibited a 6-8--19-7 week 'season' of copulation and ejaculation. The onset of this 'mating season' in August coincided with the annual peak in male body weight (the 'fatted male' phenomenon).  相似文献

Basal adenylate cyclase values for corpora lutea (CL) removed from cyclic gilts on Days 3, 8, 13 and 18 were 178 +/- 61, 450 +/- 46, 220 +/- 25 and 208 +/- 18 pmol cAMP formed/min/mg protein, respectively. Basal activity was significantly elevated on Day 8 (P less than 0.001). LH-stimulatable adenylate cyclase values for CL from Days 3, 8, 13 and 18 were 242 +/- 83, 598 +/- 84, 261 +/- 27 and 205 +/- 17 pmol cAMP formed/min/mg protein respectively. Serum progesterone concentrations of 12 gilts bled every 2 days through one complete oestrous cycle ranged from 1.1 to 26.9 ng/ml with highest values between Days 8 and 12. The decline in serum progesterone concentrations was coincident with the decrease in basal adenylate cyclase activity. There was no LH-stimulatable adenylate cyclase activity present in the CL at the specific times of the oestrous cycle examined. We conclude that progesterone secretion by the pig CL is apparently dependent on basal activity of adenylate cyclase.  相似文献
