Extreme environments,such as subterranean habitats,are suspected to be responsible for morphologically inseparable cryptic or sibling species and can bias biodiversity assessment.A DNA barcode is a short,standardized DNA sequence used for taxonomic purposes and has the potential to lessen the challenges presented by a biotic inventory.Here,we investigate the diversity of the genus Leptonetela Kratochvíl,1978 that is endemic to karst systems in Eurasia using DNA barcoding.We analyzed 624 specimens using one mitochondrial gene fragment (COI).The results show that DNA barcoding is an efficient and rapid species identification method in this genus.DNA barcoding gap and automatic barcode gap discovery (ABGD) analyses indicated the existence of 90 species,a result consistent with previous taxonomic hypotheses,and supported the existence of extreme male pedipalpal tibial spine and median apophysis polymorphism in Leptonetela species,with direct implications for the taxonomy of the group and its diversity.Based on the molecular and morphological evidence,we delimit and diagnose 90 Leptonetela species,including the type species Leptonetela kanellisi (Deeleman-Reinhold,1971).Forty-six of them are previously undescribed.The female of Leptonetela zhai Wang & Li,2011 is reported for the first time.Leptonetela tianxinensis (Tong & Li,2008) comb.nov.is transferred from the genus Leptoneta Simon,1872;the genus Guineta Lin & Li,2010 syn.nov.is a junior synonym of Leptonetela;Leptonetela gigachela (Lin & Li,2010)comb.nov.is transferred from Guineta.The genus Sinoneta Lin & Li,2010 syn.nov.is a junior synonym of Leptonetela;Leptonetela notabilis (Lin & Li,2010) comb.nov.and Leptonetela sexdigiti (Lin & Li,2010) comb.nov.are transferred from Sinoneta;Leptonetela sanchahe Wang & Li nom.nov.is proposed as a replacement name for Sinoneta palmata (Chen et al.,2010) because Leptonetela palmata is preoccupied.  相似文献

A checklist of 30 species ofEndotricha Zeller in China is presented in this paper. Six species (E. dumalis sp. nov., E. lunulata sp. nov. E. medogana sp. nov., E. nigra sp. nov., E. purpurata sp. nov. and E. simipunicea sp. nov.) are new to science and three (E. admirabilis Kirpichnikova, E. fuscobasalis Ragonot and E. valentis Kirpichnikova) are recorded for the first time in China. The adult features and genital structures of the new species are illustrated and a key to the Chinese species is given.  相似文献

Three new genera of the spider family Nesticidae, Hamus gen. nov., Nescina gen. nov. and Wraios gen. nov., are reported. Three new species, Hamus bowoensis sp. nov., Nescina minuta sp. nov. and Wraios longiembolus sp. nov., showing remarkable characters in palpal and epigynal morphology, are described based on specimens collected in Tibet and Yunnan, China. All the type specimens are deposited in the Institute of Zoology, Chinese Academy of Sciences(IZCAS) in Beijing.  相似文献

The present paper reports fourteen species of the genus Cryptolechia from Guizhou Province, China. Eleven species are described as new: C. proximideflecta sp. nov., C. muscosa sp.nov., C. solifasciaria sp. nov., C. spinifera sp. nov., C. denticulata sp. nov., C. furcellata sp. nov.,C. latifascia sp. nov., C. acutiuscula sp. nov., C. fasciculifera sp. nov., C. hamatilis sp. nov. and C.concaviuscula sp. nov. The female of C. gei Wang is reported for the first time, and the genital structures of the new species are illustrated.  相似文献

A new genus Amblomma gen. nov. of fossil beetles is erected and can be assignedto the family Ommatidae because its two procoxal cavities are contiguous and the articulations of the abdominal ventrites are abutting. The new genus is similar to Zygadenia Handlirsch, 1906 (=Notocupes Ponomarenko, 1964), Tetraphalerus Waterhouse, 1901,Rhobdocupes Ponomarenko, 1966 and Sinocupes Lin, 1976, but can be distinguished from other genera according to the following characters: the second segment of antennae is shorterthan the third one in length; the posterior tarsi with the basal segment is obviously shorter than the three following taken together in length; the antennae reach the posterior ridge of prothroax in length, and the sides of the prothroax with serrulate margin. Four new species of the new genus are described and figured: Amblomma psilata gen. et sp. nov., Amblomma rudis gen. et sp. nov., Amblomma epicharis gen. et sp. nov., and Amblomma stabilis gen. etsp. nov. A key to species within this new genus is provided. All the specimens are collected from the Late Jurassic Yixian Formation of western Liaoning and are now housed in the College of Life Science, Capital Normal University, Beijing, China.  相似文献

Three new species of the genus Spilogona Schnabl, namely S. carbiarenosa sp. nov., S.dasyoomma sp. nov. and S. kunjirapensis sp. nov. are described from China. Sixteen species of the genus Phaedon Latreille are revised and illustrated from China, including five new species described herein, namely P. geminatus sp. nov., P. huizuensis sp. nov., P. igori sp. nov., P. insolitus sp. nov., P. prosternalis sp. nov. All species are redescirbed or original described. Figures of important morphological features are provided. The natural history of some species are provided including the host plants records. A key to species of Phaedon from China is presented. Three species, Macrophya circulotibialis Li, Liu & Heng, sp. nov., M. curvatitheca Li, Liu & Heng, sp. nov. and M. changbaina Li, Liu & Heng, sp. nov., of the imitator-group of the genus Macrophya Dahlbom(Hymenoptera, Tenthredinidae) from China are described as new to science. A key to all known species of the imitator-group from China is provided. Capparimyia Bezzi is revised and eight species recognized, of which four are new: C. aenigma sp. nov., C. maerua sp. nov., C. mirabilis sp. nov., and C. spatulata sp. nov. A lectotype is designated for C. bipustulata (Bezzi, 1923), C. savastani (Martelli) and C. melanaspis (Bezzi). Capparimyia aristata nom. nov. is proposed as a replacement name for Pardalaspis (now Capparimyia ) bipustulata Bezzi, 1924 (preoccupied Bezzi, 1923). All species are described or re-described, with illustrations of mesonotal and wing patterns and male and female terminalia. A key to species is provided. Phylogenetic relationships within the genus are analysed cladistically and considered vis-à-vis the relationships between the host plants. Distribution patterns are discussed.  相似文献

Fimbria lohani (Mollusca: Bivalvia) nom. nov. pro Fimbria subpectunculus (d’ Orbigny, 1850) from the Lutetian (Middle Eocene) of Paris basin, name preoccupied. The names Fimbria magna ( Anton, 1838) and Fimbria subpectunculus (d’ Orbigny, 1850) are nomenclaturally invalid to designate the species from the Lutetian (Middle Eocene) of the Paris Basin.
