在生物学观察到测定基础上,引入生化测定方法探讨了不同光照条件下卡洲满江红3001,小叶满江红4018,杂交萍90-4-6和回交萍MH3-1四个红萍品系丛内多酚氧化酶活性变化趋势。结果表明,光照影响各满江 红品系的生长速率与抗霉腐病能力,随着光照强度减弱,各品系的生长速率和抗霉腐病能力都下降。在低光下,供试的满江红品系生物量与体内PPO活性的相关性显著。 相似文献

对栝楼雌雄植株生长发育关键时期的光合作用和蒸腾作用进行研究.结果表明:在营养生长阶段,栝楼雄株的光合速率、蒸腾速率、气孔导度和水分利用效率均大于雌株;雄株比雌株提前22 d进入生殖生长阶段,当雄株进入生殖生长阶段后,其光合速率、蒸腾速率和气孔导度均大于雌株,但水分利用效率略小于雌株;当雌株进入生殖生长阶段后,其蒸腾速率和气孔导度大于雄株,而光合速率和水分利用效率显著小于雄株.气候因子对栝楼生长发育的影响主要是在营养生长和生殖生长初期,栝楼生长发育后期对气候因子的响应程度减弱.较高的温度和较低的湿度有利干栝楼的生长发育,光照可提高栝楼尤其是雄株的光合速率.进入生殖生长后,雄株的光合速率随光照的增强显著增加,而雌株的光合速率增加不显著;随气温的升高,雄株的蒸腾速率显著提高,雌株的光合速率极显著提高. 相似文献

为了进一步了解光照下植物呼吸作用的内在机理以及呼吸作用和光合作用的关系,该文研究了在光照下菜豆(Phaseolus vulgaris)叶片抗氰呼吸与光合作用的关系。研究发现,将黑暗下生长的菜豆幼苗叶片转到光照下10 h,总呼吸、抗氰呼吸以及抗氰呼吸在总呼吸中的比例均逐步上升;光照也导致了叶片叶绿体光合放氧和CO2固定的出现及其速率的增加,但光合放氧和CO2固定速率的增加均滞后于抗氰呼吸的增加。将黑暗下生长的叶片转到光照下之前用抗氰呼吸的抑制剂水杨基氧肟酸(SHAM)处理叶片,发现用SHAM处理并没有导致叶片在光照下光合放氧和CO2固定速率的明显变化,这也提示了黑暗下生长的叶片转至光照的过程中,抗氰呼吸和光合作用没有产生偶联。进一步研究发现,在黑暗中对叶片施加短时间的光照能够增加抗氰呼吸在总呼吸中的比例,但短时间的光照对叶片光合CO2固定速率没有影响。这些结果表明了光照对抗氰呼吸的诱导可以不依赖于光合作用,光照可能是作为一种直接的信号去诱导抗氰呼吸。 相似文献

Comprises species occurring mostly in subtidal habitats in tropical, subtropical and warm-temperate areas of the world. An analysis of the type species, V. spiralis (Sonder) Lamouroux ex J. Agardh, a species from Australia, establishes basic characters for distinguishing species in the genus. These characters are (1) branching patterns of thalli, (2) flat blades that may be spiralled on their axis, (3) width of the blade, (4) primary or secondary derivation of sterile and fertile branchlets and (5) position of sterile and fertile branchlets on the thalli. Application of the latter two characters provides an important basic method for separation of species into three major groups. Osmundaria , a genus known only in southern Australia, was studied in relation to Vidalia , and its separation from the Vidalia assemblage is not accepted. Species of Vidalia therefore are transferred to the older genus name, Osmundaria. Two new species, Osmundaria papenfussii and Osmundaria oliveae are described from Natal. Confusion in the usage of the epithet, Vidalia fimbriala Brown ex Turner has been clarified, and Vidalia gregaria Falkenberg, described as an epiphyte on Osmundaria pro/ifera Lamouroux, is revealed to be young branches of the host, Osmundaria prolifera. 相似文献

Fifteen chromosome counts of six Artemisia taxa and one species of each of the genera Brachanthemum, Hippolytia, Kaschgaria, Lepidolopsis and Turaniphytum are reported from Kazakhstan. Three of them are new reports, two are not consistent with previous counts and the remainder are confirmations of very scarce (one to four) earlier records. All the populations studied have the same basic chromosome number, x = 9, with ploidy levels ranging from 2x to 6x. Curcumin is the yellow pigment of turmeric that interacts irreversibly forming an adduct with thioredoxin reductase (TrxR), an enzyme
responsible for redox control of cell and defence against oxidative stress. Docking at both the active sites of TrxR was performed to compare
the potency of three naturally occurring curcuminoids, namely curcumin, demethoxy curcumin and bis-demethoxy curcumin. Results show
that active sites of TrxR occur at the junction of E and F chains. Volume and area of both cavities is predicted. It has been concluded by
distance mapping of the most active conformations that Se atom of catalytic residue SeCYS498, is at a distance of 3.56 from C13 of
demethoxy curcumin at the E chain active site, whereas C13 carbon atom forms adduct with Se atom of SeCys 498. We report that at least
one methoxy group in curcuminoids is necessary for interation with catalytic residues of thioredoxin. Pharmacophore of both active sites of
the TrxR receptor for curcumin and demethoxy curcumin molecules has been drawn and proposed for design and synthesis of most probable
