In the present paper, six new species and fourteen new subspecies of Chinese butter-flies belonging to 6 families and 16 genera are described. The butterflies here dealt with were collected by Chinese and Soviet entomologistsduring their joint expeditions to Southwest China (chiefly in S. and S.-W. Yunnan) in theyears 1955--1957. In a survey of endophytic fungi associated with medicinal plants, two species of the genus Sporormiella Ellis & Everh. were isolated in 2005. This paper deals with 12 species of Callaphididae from China. Among them 7 species and a genus are described as new to science. All the types are deposited in the Institute of Zoology, Academia Sinica. Tinocallis hemipteleae Zhang, sp. nov. (figs. 1—12) Allied to T. takachihoensis Higuchi, 1972, but forewing with pigment bordering the veins, with spots at apices of veins, and with apical 1/5 of Rs indistinct; 1st segment of all tarsi with 7 setae; 3rd antennal segment with 14—18 transversely elongate sensoria.  相似文献

Seventeen genera and twenty species of Coreidae are reported from China in thepresent paper, four species belonging to the subfamily Pseudophloeinae, six to Rhopalinaeand ten to Alydinae. China’s rich floral diversity includes more than 33 000 vascular plant species,representing approximately 10 percent of all known plant species.Over half of these species are endemic to China.However,China’s rapid economic development in the last 30 years and continuous population growth have seriously damaged plant resources in the wild and the ecological environment,resulting in a dramatic increase in the number of endangered species.There are nearly 4 000 to 5 000 higher plants that are now threatened or on the verge of extinction.To help halt the loss of Chinese plant diversity,Botanic Gardens Conservation International(BGCI) has developed a China programme and opened its first office based in Guangzhou in 2008.This office works along with Chinese partners aiming to secure Chinese plant diversity through integrated conservation approaches with reintroduction/population reinforcement,engagement of local communities in conservation activities,capacity building in horticulture and environmental education and public outreach.  相似文献

The new ostracode Notodromas sinensis from a pool near Daqing City, Heilongjiang, Northeast China, is described. A full account of the morphology of this species is given in order to elucidate the terminology used in such studies. The present paper enumerates 42 species of 16 genera of the subfamily Reduviinae discovered in China. Among them eight genera and 10 species are recorded for the first time from this country (new records marked with an) while 14 species are described as new to science. The pollen morphology of 28 species of Parnassia L. was investigated with light microscopy and scanning electron microscopy (SEM). The shape of pollen grains in this genus varies from subspheroidal to prolate in equatorial view and is three-lobed circular in the polar view. Pollen grains are usually radially symmetrical, isopolar, tricolporate or syntricolporate, with reticulate sculpture. The pollen characteristics among species are fairly similar to each other. Morphological information regarding the pollen grains shows that Parnassia is a natural genus. Based on exine ornamentation observed under SEM, three types of pollen grains were recognized: (i) type I, with foveolate-reticulate sculpture; (ii) type II, with a finely reticulate sculpture; and (iii) type III, with a coarsely reticulate sculpture. Most sections of this genus have one type of sculpture of pollen morphology, but Sect. Nectarotrilobos has three types of sculpture and Sect.Saxifragastrum has two types of sculpture. All three types of sculpture can be found in Southwest China,with species with the longest (Parnassia delavayi Franch.) and shortest (Parnassiafaberi Oliv.) colpi,implying that Southwest China is the center of diversification of the genus.  相似文献
