紫茎泽兰是我国危害最严重的外来入侵物种之一,为探讨表型可塑性和局域适应在其入侵中的作用,在高、低海拔的两个样地内,测定了来自云南南部640~2450 m海拔范围的6个种源的紫茎泽兰种群的株高、冠宽、分枝数和高温半致死温度(HSLT).结果表明,在高海拔样地,各种群紫茎泽兰株高、冠宽、分枝数和HSLT(2130 m的哀牢山种群除外)均显著低于在低海拔样地,紫茎泽兰各种群的株高、冠宽和分枝数的可塑性指数(0.881~0.975)均较大,而HSLT的可塑性(0.052~0.200)较小.无论在高还是低海拔样地,紫茎泽兰的株高、冠宽和分枝数在种群间的差异均不显著,而HSLT在种群间的差异达极显著水平,表现出明显的遗传分化,但其在种群间的差异仍小于其在样地间的差异.在高海拔样地,紫茎泽兰各种群的分枝数与种源海拔呈显著正相关;在低海拔样地,紫茎泽兰的HSLT与种源海拔呈显著负相关,表现出明显的局域适应特征.表型可塑性和局域适应均与紫茎泽兰的入侵有关,但前者的作用可能更大.  相似文献

【目的】紫茎泽兰是一种世界性的恶性入侵杂草,侵入我国后迅速扩散至多个省市,严重阻碍了当地农、林、牧业的发展。研究丛枝菌根真菌对紫茎泽兰生长和繁殖的影响,解析土壤中丛枝菌根真菌在紫茎泽兰入侵、传播和扩散过程中的作用,能为开展紫茎泽兰防控工作提供参考。【方法】通过盆栽实验,测定接种丛枝菌根真菌的紫茎泽兰株高、叶片数、总叶面积、节间距、地径,并统计单株花序数、单花序种子量、种子量、种子千粒重、含水率、发芽率、发芽势、发芽指数等。【结果】丛枝菌根真菌对紫茎泽兰的株高、地径有极显著影响(P0.01),接种丛枝菌根真菌后,紫茎泽兰的单株花序数、单花序种子数、总种子量分别增加了5.03、1.51、7.64倍;种子的长度、宽度、含水率、发芽率、发芽势、发芽指数分别增加了15.24%、23.08%、19.46%、29.22%、391.01%、183.56%(P0.05)。【结论】丛枝菌根真菌可显著促进紫茎泽兰生长,控制丛枝菌根真菌的数量可有效抑制紫茎泽兰生长,并抑制紫茎泽兰花序数、种子量及种子的生命力,降低其扩散蔓延速度。  相似文献

比较研究了紫茎泽兰和飞机草的生长、形态、生物量分配和光合特性对磷营养的可塑性反应,及与其入侵性的关系.结果表明,两种入侵植物对磷营养变化表现出很强的可塑性和适应性.低磷时,两种植物的根生物量比增大,利于养分吸收;高磷时,两种植物的比叶面积、最大净光合速率、光饱和点、单位面积的叶绿素和类胡萝卜素含量增大,同化面积和同化能力增强,利于碳积累.相比之下,紫茎泽兰对磷的适应性更强.随供磷量的增加,紫茎泽兰和飞机草的相对生长速率、总生物量、株高、分枝数、叶面积指数和最大净光合速率均显著增大,过量磷素对上述参数抑制较小,表明两种入侵植物偏好较高的磷环境,土壤磷含量升高有利于其入侵,并在高磷时,通过增大株高、分枝数和叶面积指数荫蔽排挤本地种.在本地种基本停止生长的干季,紫茎泽兰和飞机草仍维持较高的相对生长速率.这也与其入侵性密切相关.  相似文献

外来生物的入侵可导致环境退化、生物多样性降低和食物及水资源短缺,利用本地植物或优良牧草进行替代控制是治理入侵植物的有效途径之一。采用本地禾本科植物白茅与紫茎泽兰等比例混合种植,研究了其对紫茎泽兰的竞争效应。结果表明:白茅与紫茎泽兰之间呈现很强的竞争作用,可用作紫茎泽兰的替代控制植物;白茅地上部分相对竞争力比紫茎泽兰强,其幼苗萌发早于紫茎泽兰,株高和单株平均叶面积均显著高于紫茎泽兰;二者混合种植可显著抑制紫茎泽兰的植株生长和分蘖,混合种植区紫茎泽兰的株高、单株平均叶面积和叶绿素含量分别只有其单种的49%、72%和77%;而混合种植对白茅植株生长的影响不显著,并可促进其分蘖,混合种植区的白茅分蘖数达单种区的132%。白茅的相对产量显著高于紫茎泽兰的对应指标,竞争效应参数相对产量总和1.0;随着混合种植时间的延长,两者的竞争关系将愈加显著。  相似文献

不同地理种群紫茎泽兰生长繁殖特征的比较研究   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1  
对云南省9个不同地理种群紫茎泽兰的野外生长繁殖特性进行了调查,并采集各种群种子在温室内培植,观测比较它们在同质环境下的种子萌发、幼苗生长发育及植株开花结实情况.研究结果显示,(1)野外不同地理种群紫茎泽兰之间其植株生长和繁殖特征均存在显著差异,从南到北各种群植株的生长发育特征均呈现出先升后降的趋势,符合从高温边缘区到适生区再到低温边缘区的分布格局规律.(2)在温室同质环境下不同地理种群紫茎泽兰之间除植株根冠比和种子发芽指数差异显著外(P<0.05),植株生长繁殖的其他指标的差异均不显著,说明野外不同地理种群紫茎泽兰的生长繁殖特性差异基本还不具有遗传性,局域适应对紫茎泽兰入侵能力的影响还较小,而较强的表型可塑性对紫茎泽兰入侵能力可能起到主要作用,这可能与其入侵时间较短有关.表明在分布区边缘,紫茎泽兰仍具有较强的繁殖能力,将随着其生理抗性的适应性分化而具有更宽的入侵范围.  相似文献

为了阐明南方菟丝子寄生对加拿大一枝黄花生长和繁殖的影响及机制,分析了南方菟丝子寄生对加拿大一枝黄花形态、生长与繁殖指标的影响,并分析了其生物量与加拿大一枝黄花次生代谢产物含量的相关性.结果表明: 南方菟丝子寄生显著降低加拿大一枝黄花株高、基径、主根长度和根直径,显著降低根、茎、叶和总生物量以及花序数、花序主轴长和花序分枝数;尤其是株高、花序数、茎生物量3个指标,被南方菟丝子寄生的植株仅为无寄生植株的1/2、1/5和1/8.南方菟丝子寄生强度对加拿大一枝黄花的株高、根长、茎生物量、总生物量等指标没有显著影响,但高强度寄生组的基径、根体积、叶生物量、根生物量、花序数、花序主轴长、花序分枝数等指标均显著低于低强度寄生组.南方菟丝子寄生显著增加加拿大一枝黄花根鞣质含量和茎黄酮含量.加拿大一枝黄花的生物量与根鞣质含量及茎黄酮含量存在显著负相关.这表明南方菟丝子寄生加拿大一枝黄花后, 除了减少其资源获取外,还可能通过改变资源分配方式等途径进一步抑制其生长.  相似文献

比较研究了紫茎泽兰(Ageratina adenophora)和飞机草(Chromolaena odorata)的形态、生物量分配、生长和光合特性对氮营养的可塑性反应,探讨其与入侵性的关系。结果表明:1) 两种入侵植物对氮营养变化表现出很高的可塑性。随供氮量的增加,两种植物的根冠比、根生物量比降低,叶生物量比(LMR)、叶面积比和叶根比升高。低氮时,增加吸收器官的生物量分配,有利于养分吸收;高氮时,更多的生物量投入同化器官,有利于碳积累。相比之下紫茎泽兰对氮素的适应性更强。2) 两种入侵植物偏好较高的氮营养环境,土壤氮含量升高利于紫茎泽兰和飞机草的入侵。在较大的氮范围内,其相对生长速率(RGR)、总生物量、株高、分枝数、叶面积指数、最大净光合速率和光合色素含量都随供氮量的增加而显著增加,过量氮素对上述参数的抑制不显著。在本地种基本停止生长的干季,紫茎泽兰和飞机草仍维持较高的RGR,这与它们的入侵性密切相关。3) 在决定RGR对氮营养的响应过程中,平均叶面积比和净同化速率同等重要。LMR对两种植物的RGR有重要的影响,是决定处理间和种间RGR差异的重要因素。随氮素的增加,紫茎泽兰的比叶面积(SLA)降低,飞机草的SLA升高,但在所有氮水平下,前者的SLA都高于后者,紫茎泽兰SLA的变化规律更利于植物适应氮环境。  相似文献

为筛选替代控制紫茎泽兰的本地植物及探讨提高替代控制效率的方法,通过盆栽实验并利用相对产量(RY)和竞争攻击力系数(A)衡量了3种本地植物与紫茎泽兰的竞争关系,同时评估了活性炭(AC)、杀真菌剂(FC)和二者联合(AC+FC)对它们竞争的影响。结果表明:(1)不添加任何物质条件下:紫茎泽兰与南酸枣混种时,紫茎泽兰的生物量明显高于单种(P<0.05),其RY和A分别显著大于1和0(P<0.05);紫茎泽兰分别与假地豆和狗尾草混种时,紫茎泽兰的株高和生物量均明显低于单种(P<0.05),其RY和A均分别显著小于1和0(P<0.05)。说明紫茎泽兰的竞争力强于南酸枣而弱于假地豆和狗尾草,假地豆和狗尾草可以在一定区域作为替代控制紫茎泽兰的潜在目标植物。(2)与不添加任何物质相比,紫茎泽兰与南酸枣混种时,AC、FC及AC+FC处理增加了紫茎泽兰的根冠比,降低了其地上生物量比,也降低了南酸枣的生物量(P<0.05);紫茎泽兰与假地豆混种时,AC和AC+FC处理增加了假地豆的株高和生物量,FC处理增加了紫茎泽兰的株高(P<0.05);紫茎泽兰与狗尾草混种时,AC和A...  相似文献

葎草(Humulus scandens)为草本雌雄异株攀援植物,采用野生种群人为控制的方法,设置单株觅到乔木(高度(3±0.5)m)、灌木(高度(1±0.5)m)和无支持物3种生长方式,测定分枝的生物量分配、形态特征和繁殖特征等指标,分析支持物对分枝形态可塑性和繁殖对策的影响,探讨雌(♀)、雄(♂)株分枝利用支持物的性别差异。结果表明:(1)支持物对葎草的茎、叶、花穗性状具有极强的可塑性,且表现出显著的性别差异,♀株的茎性状与花性状、♂株叶性状易受支持物的影响。(2)支持物对分枝生物量分配的影响呈显著的性别差异,♀株的分枝生物量分配差异性显著高于♂株;随支持物增高,♀株的茎分配比显著降低,而花分配比增加,但♂株的茎、花分配比均未受支持物的影响。(3)支持物对♀株分枝的繁殖指数和繁殖比率有极显著的影响(P0.05),对繁殖效率指数影响较小,而♂株则采用了相反的繁殖策略。  相似文献

该研究选取六个多年生苦荞新品系,对春季、秋季直播与秋季再生其主要农艺性状进行调查。结果表明:(1)不同播种季节对多年生苦荞新品系主花序的花粉可育率、总结实率、有效结实率、植株株高、主茎粗、主茎分枝数、主茎节数、籽粒百粒重、单株粒数、单株产量的影响均达到显著或极显著水平;秋播主花序花粉可育率、总结实率、有效结实率、植株主茎分枝数、籽粒百粒重、单株粒数、单株产量均极显著高于春播;植株株高、主茎粗、主茎节数均极显著低于春播;主花序花朵大小、籽粒种子长宽比无显著差异。(2)不同种植方式对主花序花粉可育率、有效结实率、植株主茎节数及籽粒百粒重的影响达到显著或极显著水平;秋季再生主花序花粉可育率、籽粒单株粒数显著高于秋季直播;主花序有效结实率、植株主茎粗、主茎节数、籽粒百粒重显著低于秋季直播;主花序花朵大小、总结实率、植株株高、主茎分枝数、籽粒种子长宽比、单株产量无显著差异;相关分析表明,各生长季节下主花序有效结实率及单株粒数与单株产量的相关系数均最高。(3)所有参试品系中,1612-241秋季直播的单株产量显著高于其他品系; 1612-16、1612-33秋季再生单株产量较正季优势显著。该研究结果有助于筛选出适宜一季播种两季收获的优良品系,为今后多年生苦荞的选择育种提供线索基础。  相似文献

植物的生长特性随环境条件的变化具有可塑性,而不同的环境因素对植物可塑性的影响也不尽相同。利用异速分析的方法,通过模拟退化草地恢复过程中猪毛菜(Salsola collina)的不同种群密度(16、44、100、400株/m2),研究其形态结构性状及生物量分配策略的异速关系在种群密度间的差异。结果表明,种群密度增大能抑制猪毛菜的生长,而且对猪毛菜的株高、根长、一级分枝数、二级分枝数、三级分枝数以及总分枝长均产生了极显著的影响,表明种群密度的变化使得植物的高生长和侧向生长发生了显著变化。种群密度的变化也引起了植物生物量的变化,其中植物根、茎、叶间的生物关系是一种表观可塑性,植物的生长策略未发生改变,只是植物个体大小发生改变引起的生物量分配的变化。植物株高、总分枝长、一级分枝数及繁殖分配的变化,是由种群密度变化引起的,植物的适应策略发生了改变,是真正的可塑性。种群密度改变了植物的繁殖分配策略,而未改变植物叶的分配策略,说明当环境发生变化时,植物调整了其繁殖策略以适应环境因素的改变,以保证种群的生存繁衍。  相似文献

Long‐term variation in the population density of honey bees Apis mellifera across landscapes has been shown to correlate with variation in the floral traits of plant populations in these landscapes, suggesting that variations in pollinator population density and foraging rates can drive floral trait evolution of their host plants. However, it remained to be determined whether this variation in plant traits is associated with adaptive variation in plant reproductive strategies under conditions of high and low pollinator densities. Here we conducted a reciprocal transplant experiment to examine how this variation in floral traits, under conditions of either high and low pollinator density, impacted seed production in the Tibetan lotus Saussurea nigrescens. In 2014 and 2015, we recorded the floral traits, pollinator visitation rates, and seed production of S. nigrescens populations grown in both home sites and foreign sites, where sites varied in honey bee population density. Our results demonstrated that the floral traits reflected those of their original population, regardless of their current location. However, seed production varied with both population origin and transplant site. Seed number was positively correlated with flower abundance in the pollinator‐rich sites, but with nectar production in the pollinator‐poor sites. Pollinator visitation rate was also positively correlated with flower number at pollinator‐rich sites, and with nectar volume at pollinator‐poor sites. Overall, the local genotype had higher seed production than nonlocal genotypes in home sites. However, when pollen is hand‐supplemented, plants from pollinator‐rich populations had higher seed production than plants from pollinator‐poor populations, regardless of whether they were transplanted to pollinator‐rich or ‐poor sites. These results suggest that the plant genotypic differences primarily drive variation in pollinator attraction, and this ultimately drives variation in seed: ovule ratio. Thus, our results suggest that flowering plant species use different reproductive strategies to respond to high or low pollinator densities.  相似文献

梭梭种源间苗期性状的遗传变异及相关性分析   总被引:6,自引:2,他引:4  
利用田间种源实验,对分布在中国5个自然分布区的5个种源梭梭〔Haloxylon ammodenaron(C.A.Mey.)Bge.〕苗期的10个生长性状进行了观测分析。结果表明,不同种源梭梭的苗期生长性状差异显著,差异较大的性状有新生枝长度、生物量、主根数量和一级分枝数。5个种源中,内蒙古磴口种源梭梭幼苗的上述性状表现最好,其后依次为甘肃武威、内蒙古乌拉特后旗、内蒙古额济纳旗和青海德令哈。相关分析结果表明,苗期生物量与根部生长性状遗传力的相关程度高于苗期茎部生长性状,表型性状的相关程度高于遗传力。梭梭苗期种源选择的首选因子为苗高、地上部鲜质量和地径性状,辅助因子为一级分枝数、主根数量和同化枝粗度。  相似文献

Improving the accuracy of predictions regarding how plants respond to climate change is crucial to protecting biodiversity. However, little is known about the effects of seed source and elevation on the response of mountain plant species to reductions in precipitation. Here, we collected seeds of a tree species (Euptelea pleiospermum) from three seed sources and carried out a two-growing-season reciprocal transplant experiment with precipitation manipulation at three sites along an elevation gradient in the Shennongjia Mountains, central China. Variations in whole-plant traits, leaf traits, and root traits were investigated. We found that most plant traits of E. pleiospermum seedlings were affected by reductions in precipitation, and responses varied among different elevations and seed sources. Whole-plant traits, root biomass, and leaf traits related to photosynthesis capacity decreased under reduced precipitation treatments at mid and high elevation sites. Thus, climate change induced drought will likely have a negative influence on seedling growth at mid and high elevation regions. In addition, a home-site advantage in whole-plant traits and root traits was observed. However, the responses of leaf traits in most cases were not affected by seed source because of higher phenotypic plasticity. Our results suggested that both local adaptation and phenotypic plasticity were important in seedling growth responses to reduced precipitation. We also highlight the importance of taking intraspecific variation into account when studying the response of plants to changes in climate.

Functional and structural leaf traits of Quercus ilex seedlings originated from parent plant acorns from three different localities in Italy were studied. Acorns from three different localities along a gradient from the north to the south of Italy: Nago (site A) in the Garda Lake region at the northernmost limit of holm oak distribution area in Italy, Castelporziano near Rome (site B), at the centre of the distribution area, and Frassanito near Otranto (site C), in a drier area in the south of Italy. Morphological and anatomical leaf traits differed between the provenances with a higher leaf mass area, total leaf thickness and the ratio of palisade to mesophyll thickness in the driest provenance (C seedlings). These traits gave C seedlings a higher water use efficiency, relative water content at predawn and photosynthetic rates than the other provenances in high air temperature conditions. The smaller leaf area of A seedlings seemed to have a higher photosynthetic capacity in low air temperature conditions than B and C seedlings. Growth analysis underlined a higher shoot relative growth rate in B seedlings explaining the highest shoot length and leaf number per shoot. The plasticity index [sensu Valladares et al. (2000) Ecology 81:1925–1936] for physiological traits of the seedlings was higher than morphological and anatomical traits, but the largest differences in plasticity among ecotypes were found for morphological and anatomical traits. The ecotypes of Q. ilex studied here seemed to integrate, at leaf level, functions of growth activity, morphology and physiology related to the climate of the original provenance.  相似文献

采用生物测定法研究了紫茎泽兰叶和根水浸提液对任豆、香椿和龙须藤等三种岩溶木本植物种子萌发的化感作用。结果表明,除最低浓度(0.0125 g/mL)外,其它浓度的叶浸提液均能显著抑制香椿种子的萌发及幼苗生长,浓度越高抑制作用越大;对任豆和龙须藤种子萌发也有一定的化感作用,但抑制作用相对较弱,有时为促进作用。紫茎泽兰叶浸提液对受试植物的化感作用强于根水浸提液。  相似文献

Green foxtail (Setaria viridis L,) is a common weed species in temperate regions. Research on the effect of delayed reproduction on the phenotypic plasticity and regularity of the vegetative and reproductive growth is of vital significance for understanding population regulation and control of the weed in the growing season, Green foxtail seeds were sown every 10 days from 25 June to 24 August of 2004. The growth and production metrics were measured via harvesting tufts and statistical analysis was carried out. The results showed that the reproductive tillers, seed number, seed biomass and one thousand-seed weight of plants at the first sowing (25 June) approximately increased 28.8, 7827.0, 1104.0 and 12.3 times compared with that at the last sowing (24 August), respectively. Total tillers, reproductive tillers and height increased linearly as the reproductive period delayed, however, biomass increased exponentially. Quadratic equations best explained the relationships between the delayed reproductive period and seed number, Inflorescence length, one thousand-seed weight, seed biomass. Based on the quantity and quality of seed production, weeding young seedlings emerging before July can be the most effective weed-control strategy in the Songnen Plain.  相似文献

Competitive ability in plants has been previously measured almost exclusively in terms of traits related to growth (biomass) or plant size. In this study, however, we used a multi‐species competition experiment with six annuals to measure relative competitive ability in terms of reproductive output, i.e. the number of offspring produced for the next generation. Under greenhouse conditions, plants of each species were started in pots from germinating seeds and were grown singly (free of competition) and at high density in both monocultures and in mixtures with all study species. Several traits traditionally regarded as determinants of competitive ability in plants were recorded for each species grown singly, including: seed mass, germination time, early growth rate and potential plant size (biomass and height). Under competition, several traits were recorded as indicators of relative performance in both monocultures and mixtures, including: biomass of survivors, total number of survivors, number of reproductive survivors, and reproductive output (total seed production) of the survivors. As expected, species that grew to a larger biomass in isolation had higher seed production in isolation. However, none of the traditional plant growth/size‐related traits, measured either in isolation or under competition, could predict between species variation in reproductive output under competition in either monocultures or mixtures. In mixtures, 97% of this variation in reproductive output could be explained by between‐species variation in the number of reproductive survivors. The results indicate that traits measured on plants grown singly may be poor predictors of reproductive output under competition, and that species’ rank order of competitive ability in terms of the biomass of survivors may bear no relationship to their rank order in terms of the number of offspring produced by these survivors. This has important implications for the interpretation of mechanisms of species coexistence and community assembly within vegetation.  相似文献

水淹和土壤养分是影响三峡库区消落带植物生长的主要环境因子。消落带不同高程的植物长期经历不同的淹水强度和土壤养分条件。该研究假设同一物种来自于消落带不同高程的植株可能产生性状分化, 从而对根部淹水和土壤养分变化具有不同的生长和繁殖响应策略。为了验证以上假设, 选取在三峡库区消落带高低高程均广泛分布的物种水蓼(Polygonum hydropiper)为研究对象, 采集自然种群的种子。在温室同质园条件下, 研究了根部水淹和土壤养分提升对高低高程水蓼植株生长和繁殖特性的影响。研究结果表明根部水淹显著或趋于显著降低了水蓼植株功能叶的叶长、叶宽、总分枝数、叶生物量、花生物量和总生物量; 低养分处理显著或趋于显著降低了水蓼植株的总节数、总分枝数、根生物量、花生物量和总生物量, 表明根部水淹和低土壤养分对水蓼的生长和繁殖能力具有抑制作用。同时, 根部水淹和土壤养分的交互作用显著影响植株的根生物量, 表明根部水淹条件下高土壤养分更有利于植株根生物量的积累。高高程植株的根生物量和叶生物量显著或趋于显著高于低高程植株, 而低高程植株的始花时间早于高高程植株, 且繁殖分配也显著高于高高程植株, 表明高低高程水蓼植株对资源的分配策略不同。该研究结果表明水蓼的生长和繁殖特性受根部水淹和土壤养分共同限制, 但对根部水淹条件下高土壤养分生境具有较好的适应性; 同时, 低高程植株可以通过调整其生长和繁殖特性以提高对所处生境胁迫的适应性。  相似文献
