New replacement names for the preoccupied mite genera Absentia Huang, 2001 and Venilia Kuznetsov, 1979 are proposed (Huangiella nom. nov. and Kuznetsovia nom. nov. , respectively. ). Fourteen further new replacement names are proposed for additional preoccupied generic names in the Arthropoda. These names are: Vailimia nom. nov. , Millidgella nom. nov., and Nolavia nom. nov. in Araneae, Vadumasonium nom. nov. in Hymenoptera, GrideUia nom. nov., Vanstaronia nom. nov. and Veraniella nora. nov. in Coleoptera, Poletaevega nom. nov. in Trilobita, Vandelia nom. nov. in Isopoda, Gandoa nom. nov. and Vanuachela nom. nov. in Decapoda, and Crasquinia nom. nov. , Oertlia nom. nov. , and Soleaua nom. nov. in Ostracoda. 阐述并讨论了中国东海长江口外经常发生的原甲藻赤潮原因种的种类认知问题.论述了自从Stein提出具齿原甲藻(Prorocendrum dentatum Stein)新种后迄今中外专家报告该种的描述及分布,并对比了具齿原甲藻与长江口的原甲藻的异同.研究证实我国东海的原甲藻与具齿原甲藻有较大的差别,主要表现在体积大小、藻体末端形态以及藻体前端突起的大小和形态等方面.本文汇集了国内外对具齿原甲藻与我国原甲藻的研究成果,对比认为。我国长江口外经常发生赤潮的原甲藻为东海原甲藻(Prorocendrum donghaiense Lu).文中还讨论了由陆斗定发表的东海原甲藻需要补充修正的观点.在过去的数年中,我国东海长江口海域频繁爆发大面积的原甲藻赤潮,但对于赤潮原因种原甲藻(Prorocentrum)的定种问题存在两种不同的观点,一种观点认为本种是具齿原甲藻,另一种观点认为是东海原甲藻.为了阐明此种原甲藻的命名问题,于2002年11月在深圳召开了题为“我国东海赤潮原因种原甲藻分类学国际研讨会”.认为是P.dentatum的依据是长期以来国际上通常把类似我国东海的原甲藻定为P.dentatum,其根据是它的前端有突起等.而持不同观点的专家认为我国东海的这种原甲藻在细胞长度上与Stein描述的原P.dentatum差异很大,并且除少数样品末端尖伸外,大多数细胞末端是钝圆的.专家们还认为在日本、韩国等亚洲海域分布的被报告为P.dentatum的原甲藻与我国东海的此种原甲藻为同一种.综观各种观点,作者认为东海本种原甲藻应为东海原甲藻.  相似文献

In their recent paper published in Nature (2018, 554, 234‐238), Lu et al. use phylogenetic approaches to determine the proportion of the Chinese angiosperm genera that originated during the Miocene or later, and contrast divergence times and phylogenetic dispersion between eastern and western China. One of their key conclusions is that 66% of the angiosperm genera in China originated in the Miocene or later. However, an analysis of 300 angiosperm genera shows that 139 (76.8%) of the 181 genera considered as originating in the Miocene or later by Lu et al. have fossil records before the Miocene. Thus, the evolutionary history of Chinese angiosperm flora has been substantially underestimated in Lu et al. In addition, the results of Lu et al. have been biased by using an incomplete phylogeny.  相似文献

本文报道了中国疱脐衣属四个新分类单位,其中包括三个新种:华东疱脐衣(Lasallia sinorientalis Wei),大理疱脐衣(L.daliensis Wei),苍山疱脐衣(L.caeonshanensis Wei)及东亚疱脐衣一新变种:樊净山变种(L.asiae-orientalis var.fanjingensis Wei)。此外,还从东亚疱脐衣的模式标本中首次发现了该种的子囊盘,并作了补充描述。作者认为,根据有关中国地衣区系的现有知识,迄今尚未发现分布于中国的疱脐衣(Lasallia pustulata(L.)Merat)。而华东疱脐衣可能是疱脐衣在亚洲的地理替代种。  相似文献

二十世纪中叶以后,中、美寒武纪地层研究都有重大进展。三叶虫是寒武纪的重要化石,中、晚寒武世牙形石有显著的生物地层意义。二十世纪中叶国内研究寒武系的学者,认为北美寒武系与西欧及北欧的相似,与中国的差异较大。目前看来,北美东部斜坡相区的寒武系与西欧、北欧相似外,北美西部广大地区(包括阿拉斯加、加拿大及美国境内的落基山等地区),分别与西伯利亚,蒙古西北部一些地区,及我国华北、东北南部及华南等地区的寒武系关系较近。北美西部Nevada及Utah等地也显示地台区及斜坡相区的不同。文内对两个地区早、中、晚寒武世地层内相同的属或种,分别进行对比。两地区属种相同的数目,由老到新逐渐增多。岩石方面,也有相似之处,如Pioche页岩和馒头组的岩性,Notch Peak灰岩与凤山组藻类灰岩及Hales灰岩与华北晚寒武世的竹叶状灰岩等,都有相似之处。  相似文献

Camellia oleifera is a subtropical evergreen plant. Cultivated C. oleifera is the most important woody oil crop in China. Wild C. oleifera is an essential genetic resource for breeding. The patterns of genetic differentiation among altitudes/latitudes in wild C. oleifera are still unknown. Camellia oleifera may be predominantly hexaploid. The characteristics of polyploidy may lead to considerable biases in estimates of genetic diversity and differentiation. Our study used C. oleifera as a case study for analysing genetic diversity, structure and differentiation in polyploid plants using simple sequence repeats (SSRs). Wild C. oleifera samples were collected at different altitudes on the Jinggang and Lu mountains of China. The ploidy levels were determined with flow cytometry analysis. Eight highly polymorphic SSRs were used to genotype the samples. Genetic diversity and structure were analysed. Various estimates of genetic differentiation were compared. The flow cytometry results indicated that wild C. oleifera samples were all hexaploid at various altitudes of the Jinggang and Lu mountains. High levels of genetic diversity were found on both the Jinggang and Lu mountains. Genetic structure analyses indicated clear genetic differentiation between the Jinggang and Lu mountains and lower genetic differentiation among altitudes within each mountain. Classical genetic differentiation estimates of Fst failed to discriminate genetic differentiation between and within mountains. The Rho statistic showed a moderate level of genetic differentiation between mountains and lower levels of genetic differentiation within each mountain. Our study demonstrates that Rho is the statistic of choice for estimating genetic differentiation in polyploids.  相似文献

Background

The Lutheran blood group glycoprotein (Lu), an Ig superfamily (IgSF) transmembrane receptor, is also known as basal cell adhesion molecule (B-CAM). Lu/B-CAM is a specific receptor for laminin α5, a major component of basement membranes in various tissues. Previous reports have shown that Lu/B-CAM binding to laminin α5 contributes to sickle cell vaso-occlusion. However, as there are no useful tools such as function-blocking antibodies or drugs, it is unclear how epithelial and sickled red blood cells adhere to laminin α5 via Lu/B-CAM.

Methodology/Principal Findings

In this study, we discovered a function-blocking antibody that inhibits Lu binding to laminin α5 using a unique binding assay on tissue sections. To characterize the function-blocking antibody, we identified the site on Lu/B-CAM recognized by this antibody. The extracellular domain of Lu/B-CAM contains five IgSF domains, D1-D2-D3-D4-D5. The antibody epitope was localized to D2, but not to the D3 domain containing the major part of the laminin α5 binding site. Furthermore, mutagenesis studies showed that Arg175, the LU4 blood group antigenic site, was crucial for forming the epitope and the antibody bound sufficiently close to sterically hinder the interaction with α5. Cell adhesion assay using the antibody also showed that Lu/B-CAM serves as a secondary receptor for the adhesion of carcinoma cells to laminin α5.

Conclusion/Significance

This function-blocking antibody against Lu/B-CAM should be useful for not only investigating cell adhesion to laminin α5 but also for developing drugs to inhibit sickle cell vaso-occlusion.  相似文献

Transmission of Leishmania was studied in 27 coffee plantations in the Brazilian State of Minas Gerais. Eighteen females and six males (11.6% of the people tested), aged between 7-65 gave a positive response to the Montenegro skin test. Awareness of sand flies based on the ability of respondents to identify the insects using up to seven predetermined characteristics was significantly greater among inhabitants of houses occupied by at least one Mn+ve individual. Five species of phlebotomine sand fly, including three suspected Leishmania vectors, were collected within plantations under three different cultivation systems. Four of these species i.e., Lu. fischeri (Pinto 1926), Lu. migonei (Fran?a 1920), Lu. misionensis (Castro 1959) and Lutzomyia whitmani (Antunes Coutinho 1939) were collected in an organic plantation and the last of these was also present in the other two plantation types. The remaining species, Lu. intermedia (Lutz Neiva 1912), was collected in plantations under both the "adensado" and "convencional" systems. The results of this study indicate that transmission of Leishmania to man in coffee-growing areas of Minas Gerais may involve phlebotomine sand flies that inhabit plantations.  相似文献
