Nemerteans of the Great Barrier Reef 6. Enopla Hoplonemertea (Polystilifera: Reptantia)

Two new genera and species of reptantic polystiliferous hoplonemerteans from the Great Barrier Reef province of Australia are described and illustrated. Urichonemertes pilorhynchus gen. et sp. nov. and Xenonemertes rhamphocephalus gen. et sp. nov. are both placed in the family Drepanophoridae (Polystilifera: Eureptantia: Aequifurcata).     

武夷山白粉菌的新属新种

本文报告了武夷山白粉菌的2个新分类单位,即寄生于短尾鹅耳枥的新属新种武夷顶叉钩丝壳(Furcouncinula wuyiensis Chen et Gao gen.et sp.nov.)和寄生于清风藤的新种清风藤球针壳(Phyllactinia sabiae Chen et Gao sp.nov.)。武夷顶叉钩丝壳由于其附属丝的独特形态,与已知的白粉菌科各属均显著不同,故建立为新属。新属、新种均有汉文及拉丁文描述。     

湖北元古代微体化石新材料

黄麦岭磷矿的8个中元古代黄麦岭组变质岩地层剖面中发现了两类微体化石。一类是丁丁虫中的Funnelasinensisgen.etsp.nov.,另一类是球形分类位置未定的Sinosphaera hubeiensisgen.etsp.nov.。两者均为多细胞化石,它们都含磷。在该磷矿中,凡是含微体化石越多的层位,磷矿的品位也就越高。     

Six new species of palaeonemerteans (Nemertea) from Hong Kong

One new genus and six new species of palaeonemerteans are described and illustrated from Hong Kong and the New Territories; these are Hubrechtella sinimarinus sp. nov. and Parahubrechtia jillae gen. et sp. nov. in the Hubrechtidae, and Callinera bergendali sp. nov., Carinina sinensis sp. nov., Tubulanus hylbomi sp. nov. and Tubulanus longivasculus sp. nov. in the Tubulanidae. These bring the known number of pa-laeonemertean species from Hong Kong to 11; a key to these species, based primarily upon features distinguishable in the living animals, is provided.     

CRYPTOPERIDINIOPSIS BRODYI GEN. ET SP. NOV. (DINOPHYCEAE), A SMALL LIGHTLY ARMORED DINOFLAGELLATE IN THE PFIESTERIACEAE1

A new genus and species of heterotrophic dinoflagellate, Cryptoperidiniopsis brodyi gen. et sp. nov., are described. This new species commonly occurs in estuaries from Florida to Maryland, and is often associated with Pfiesteria piscicida Steidinger et Burkholder, Pseudopfiesteria shumwayae (Glasgow et Burkholder) Litaker et al., and Karlodinium veneficum (Ballantine) J. Larsen, as well as other small (<20 μm) heterotrophic and mixotrophic dinoflagellates. C. brodyi gen. et sp. nov. feeds myzocytotically on pigmented microalgae and other microorganisms. The genus and species have the enhanced Kofoidian plate formula of Po, cp, X, 5′, 0a, 6″, 6c, PC, 5+s, 5″′, 0p, and 2″″ and are assigned to the order Peridiniales and the family Pfiesteriaceae. Because the Pfiesteriaceae comprise small species and are difficult to differentiate by light microscopy, C. brodyi gen. et sp. nov. can be easily misidentified.     

Taxonomic studies on the Chlorarachniophyta. II. Generic delimitation of the chlorarachniophytes and description of Gymnochlora stellata gen. et sp. nov. and Lotharella gen. nov.

A new chlorarachniophytan alga, Gymnochlora stellata Ishida et Y. Hara gen. et sp. nov., has been isolated from Anae Island in Guam. It is a green, star-shaped, unicellular, amoeboid organism with several filopodia that do not form a reticulopodial network. Neither zoospores nor walled coccoid cells have been observed throughout the life cycle. The chloroplast ultrastructure is similar to those of described species; however, the pyrenoid matrix, which is invaded by many tubular structures originating from the inner membrane of the chloroplast envelope, is unique. A classification system is proposed for the Chlorarachniophyta. In this system, the ultrastructural features of the pyrenoid and the location of the nucleomorph in the periplastidial compartment are used as generic criteria, while the morphological features of the vegetative cells and life cycle patterns are used for species criteria. The described species, except for Cryptochlora perforans Calderon-Saenz et Schnetter, are also reassessed under the new system, and consequent nomenclatural requirements for the genus Chlorarachnion are dealt with in this paper. The taxonomic rank of a previously described species, Chlorarachnion globosum Ishida et Y. Hara, is elevated and Lotharella globosa (Ishida et Y. Hara) Ishida et Y. Hara gen. nov. et comb. nov. is proposed.     

A new genus and species of freshwater monostiliferous hoplonemertean (Nemertea, Enopla) from the People's Republic of China

A new genus and species of freshwater monostiliferous hoplonemertean, Limnemertes poyangensis gen. et sp. nov., from Poyang Lake, People's Republic of China, is described and illustrated. The taxon is compared and contrasted with previously described freshwater hoplonemerteans. This is the fourth species of freshwater nemertean to be described from China and the first recorded from Poyang Lake.     

A new genus and species of monostiliferoidean nemertean (Nemertea: Enopla) found on an egg mass of the anomuran decapod Paralithodes camtschatica

A new genus and species of monostiliferoidean enoplan nemertean from Alaska is described and illustrated. The nemertean, Alaxinus oclairi gen. et sp. nov. , was found on the egg mass of a red king crab, Paralithodes camtschatica.

白垩纪缅甸琥珀双翅螳蛉科一新属新种(昆虫纲: 脉翅目)

基于三枚晚白垩世Cenomanian期早期缅甸琥珀化石标本,记述了脉翅目双翅螳蛉科Dipteromantispidae一新属新种:卓德曲双翅螳蛉Kurtodipteromantispa zhuodei gen.etsp.nov.。新种与格氏棒翅螳蛉Halteriomantispa grimaldii Liu et al., 2016相似,但以下特征区别于后者:1)前翅无色斑; 2)前翅ScP端部在scp-ra横脉处具明显弯折,不平滑; 3)前翅RP至少具1末端分叉的分支; 4)雌外生殖器肛上板与第9背板融合,第9生殖基节近半圆形,末端无近三角形突起。此外,描述并讨论了新属雌外生殖器的形态结构。
