为探讨马尾松改良种子园半同胞家系子代的生长变异情况,测定分析了26个家系1 年生苗高、地径和0.5年生、1.5 年生及2.5 年生幼林的树高、地径、胸径、材积和冠幅等生长指标。结果表明,各性状在家系间均存在极显著差异,参试群体的树高、胸径、材积和冠幅的家系遗传力大于0.8,且前三个性状的单株遗传力大于0.4,说明上述性状是遗传力较高的性状。2.5年生材积生长量显著高于普通生产种的优良家系有19个,入选率为73%,树高、胸径和材积的遗传增益分别为2.76%、3.60%和8.49%,与初级种子园混合种和普通生产种相比,其材积分别提高55.28%和218.28%。  相似文献

通过标准地调查法,分析邓恩桉9 a生林分在闽北不同立地类型中胸径和树高的生长表现。结果表明,山地林1邓恩桉林分平均胸径和树高分别为11.6 cm、11.5 m,山地林2邓恩桉林分平均胸径和树高分别为13.0 cm、13.1 m,河岸林邓恩桉林分平均胸径和树高分别为21.3 cm、17.0 m。虽然各林分之间生长差异明显,但均超过本地乡土树种马尾松、杉木的速生丰产指标,且这些差异主要是由各林分中出现部分林木向高生长方向分化造成的,是邓恩桉在引种区适应生长的表现。  相似文献

植物功能性状之间的关系是其提高自身空间资源利用能力的一种生态策略,反映了植物与环境协同适应的表型可塑性机制。本文利用Arc GIS建立研究区域的数字高程模型(DEM),并提取样地坡向数据,采用标准化主轴估计(standardized major axis estimation,SMA)方法,研究了兰州市北山不同坡向人工林侧柏株高-冠幅和株高-胸径的异速生长关系。结果表明,侧柏胸径在各坡向上存在显著性差异(P0.05),株高和冠幅在东坡和西坡之间无显著性差异(P0.05);侧柏株高与冠幅的异速生长关系存在坡向差异,南坡冠幅的生长速率大于株高的生长速率,北坡冠幅的生长速率小于株高的生长速率,东坡和西坡株高、冠幅的生长速率相近;各坡向上侧柏胸径的生长速率均大于株高的生长速率,二者异速生长关系的坡向差异不明显(P0.05)。侧柏冠幅、胸径与株高异速关系在各坡向上的不同表现,反映了异质性生境中植物主要构件的投资权衡机制。  相似文献

采用胸径、生物量、冠幅和树高计测大小比数对崇州林场柳杉林的空间结构进行分析.结果表明,以胸径和生物量为度量变量的大小比数变幅最小,可信度最高,而冠幅和树高大小比数受不同树种树型的干扰而不如前两者可靠.各样地林分的胸径和生物量大小比数平均数值明显大于冠幅和树高大小比数数值,说明林木的胸径及生物量分化程度远大于冠幅与树高的分化.通过胸径的增长实现其生物量的增长,从而增强单木的竞争优势可能是林木分化的主要策略.  相似文献

基于QuickBird影像,采用人机交互方法提取了塔里木河下游不同离河距离胡杨、柽柳树冠信息,以实测数据为真值检验遥感提取冠幅、郁闭度及混交比精度;并建立了胡杨冠幅、胸径、树高关系模型,为塔里木河流域植被调查、生物量估测及生态恢复评价提供依据和方法借鉴.结果表明:胡杨、柽柳冠幅提取精度分别为84.00%、76.24%;林分郁闭度、混交比提取精度分别为69.45%、66.96%.基于实测数据建立的冠幅与胸径、胸径与树高模型相关显著(R2>0.8,P<0.01);根据遥感解译因子反演胡杨胸径、树高的平均精度分别为80.33%、89.25%.  相似文献

不同产地木荷优树无性系生长和开花性状的分析   总被引:4,自引:0,他引:4  
为比较不同产地木荷(Schima superba Gardn.et Champ.)优树无性系的生长性状(包括树高、胸径、冠幅和一级侧枝数)和开花性状(包括开花物候期和花朵数量)的遗传差异,采用方差分析、相关性分析和聚类分析方法,对来源于福建建瓯和连城、浙江庆元及龙泉和遂昌、江西上犹的22个木荷优树无性系的生长和开花性状进行了综合分析。结果表明:供试木荷无性系的树高、胸径、冠幅和一级侧枝数的的变异系数为19%~32%,始花时段、盛花时段、末花时段和花朵数量的变异系数为37%~73%,表明不同无性系生长和开花性状的变异较大。除木荷无性系一级侧枝数产地间的变异未达到显著水平外,其他生长和开花性状产地间和产地内的变异均达到显著或极显著水平。各生长和开花性状的无性系重复力为0.41~0.94,显示遗传控制程度中等偏强。无性系的树高、胸径和冠幅与花期的相关性均不显著,但与花朵数量呈显著或极显著正相关;来自较低纬度的无性系始花期最早,来自较高纬度或海拔的无性系始花期最晚。聚类分析结果显示:22个木荷无性系可聚为4个类型,类型1和类型4分别包含5个和7个无性系,这2类无性系的树高、胸径、冠幅和花朵数量总体上高于群体均值,生长表现优良、花朵数量较多,且类型4包含的无性系产地纬度较低、开花日期较早;类型2包含8个无性系,生长表现一般、花朵数量较少;类型3包含2个无性系,生长表现优良、花朵数量低于群体均值。研究结果显示:依据产地的纬度和海拔可初步判定木荷无性系的花期,可为木荷杂交育种亲本的选配和种子园建园过程中无性系的配置提供科学依据和理论基础。  相似文献

三种乡土树种在二种林分改造模式下的生理生态比较   总被引:15,自引:1,他引:14  
在丘陵荒山先锋树种马占相思林的林窗和均匀间伐50%(简称林冠层下)的2种林分改造模式下,研究了降真香、红椎和火力楠3种乡土树种生长初期的生理生态。结果表明,不管是在冬季或夏季,林窗中比林冠层下有更高的光合有效辐射(PAR)和相对湿度(RH),并且有较低的气温(Tair),林窗与林内最主要的差异是PAR的变化。生长在林窗里的植株比林冠层下的叶片小而厚,叶片单位面积干重增加,林窗里的植株叶片有较高的叶绿素含量。冬天,降真香和红椎在林窗里和林冠层下的净光合速率(Pn)日变化曲线都为单峰型,而火力楠在林窗下为双峰型,林冠层下为单峰型。3种树种在林窗里和林冠层下植株的蒸腾速率(Tr)有较相似的日进程,都为单峰型。2种林分改造模式下3种树种叶片气孔导度(GS)的日变化也较相似,与PAR的变化趋势相似,而与RH变化呈相反趋势。冬季。降真香和红椎在林窗的水分利用效率(WUE)比林冠层下稍高,而火力楠在林冠层下则比林窗高.但它们都无显著差异。夏天,3种树种在林窗和林冠层下的Pn与冬天有相似的结果。夏季红椎和降真香在林窗的Tr比林冠层下高,而火力楠在林冠层下的Tr比林窗高。Gs的变化趋势也与PAR相似,与RH变化趋势相反。夏季,降真香和火力楠的WUE在林窗比林冠层下高,但红椎却比林冠层下的低。3个树种中火力楠的WUE最高。3种树种在林窗和林冠层下的wUE都是冬季比夏季高。综合植物各项生理生态指标的分析结果可知,降真香和红椎较适宜种植在林窗里,而火力楠较能适应有一定郁闭度的林冠层下。  相似文献

Questions: What are the nurse effects of Rhodomyrtus tomentosa in degraded land of South China? Are canopy or soil factors responsible for the main nurse effect? Do facilitative effects increase with the shade tolerance of the target species? Location: Degraded shrubland in South China. Methods: Seedlings of three native climax woody species (Schima superba, Michelia macclurei, Castanopsis fissa) that differ in shade tolerance were subjected to four treatments by transplantation: (1) under the canopy of R. tomentosa shrubs; (2) in open interspaces without vegetation cover (control); (3) under the canopy of R. tomentosa from which canopies had been removed; and (4) in open interspaces without vegetation but covered by branches and leaves of R. tomentosa. Results: At low soil nutrient levels, increased canopy shade, soil porosity and soil moisture under the canopy of R. tomentosa increased seedling survival of the climax tree species S. superba, C. fissa and M. macclurei, and shoot height of S. superba. The nurse effect (a form of facilitation) of R. tomentosa depended more on canopy shade than on soil amelioration. The magnitude of facilitation or nurse effect was positively correlated with shade tolerance of the target species. Conclusions: Use of nurse plants in restoration differs from traditional reforestation (clearing and/or burning to reduce interspecific competition between target tree species and non‐target species) because it focuses on positive interactions between nurse plants and target plants that increase establishment of target species and reduce time required for restoration. Because nurse effects of R. tomentosa shrubs tended to be larger on target species with greater shade tolerance, shade‐tolerant plants are suggested as target species to accelerate restoration.  相似文献

The progress of growth of a subalpine youngAbies veitchii andA. mariesii forest during 25 years was analyzed on the basis of measurements of the processes of height growth of about 230 trees in a quadrat where the old canopy had been completely destroyed by a typhoon in 1959. The original forest floor sapling population had consisted of trees shorter than 2 m. Saplings grew faster after the breakage of the canopy than before,A. veitchii growing faster thanA. mariesii. During the 25 years of growth, a few well developed trees exceeded 6 m in height, while others remained around only 1 m or less. Some small trees, mostlyA. veitchii died at sites of high density. A bimodality in the distribution of tree height had developed with a trough at about 2.5 m, differentiating the trees into canopy and suppressed populations. Canopy trees grew with wide variation of rates, while most of the suppressed trees showed little recent growth. No difference was found in recent growth rates between the two canopyAbies species. Differences in height growth rates among individual canopy trees were analyzed on the basis of their horizontal crown overlapping. Competition models evaluating the difference in height between trees with overlapping crowns were shown to be effective. The height growth rate of a canopy tree appeared to be controlled by both the closely grown taller trees and the local density of trees including those shorter than the subject tree.  相似文献

Abstract Volatile substances emitted from the flowers of eight Magnolia taxa ( M. sieboldii ssp. japonica, M. praecocissima var. praecocissima and var. borealis, M. tomentosa, M. salicifolia, M. obovata, M. denudata, and M. grandiflora ) and one Michelia species ( M. compressa ) (Magnoliaceae) were examined and identified using GC-MS. Volatile substances of these Magnolia and Michelia species consist primarily of monoterpenoids and sesquiterpenoids produced by the mevalonate pathway, acetogenins by the acetate-malonate pathway, and phenyl-propanoids by the shikimate pathway. These Magnolia and Michelia species all possessed various combinations of volatile monoterpenoids, acetogenins, and phenylpropanoids, except for Magnolia obovata , which emitted primarily sesquiterpenoids. Free amino acids in pollen of 12 Magnolia and one Liriodendron species were also analyzed, and their value as food sources for pollinators evaluated.
Pollinators visiting the flowers of five Magnolia species were collected in their native sites and identified. Their behaviors and roles as pollinating agents were assessed.  相似文献

Abstract. We studied canopy structure, shoot architecture and light harvesting efficiencies of the species (photon flux captured per unit above‐ground plant mass) in a series of exclosures of different age (up to 4.5 yr) in originally heavily grazed grassland in N Japan.Vegetation height and Leaf Area Index (LAI) increased in the series and Zoysia japonica, the dominant in the beginning, was replaced by the much taller Miscanthus sinensis. We showed how this displacement in dominance can be explained by inherent constraints on the above‐ground architecture of these two species. In all stands light capture of plants increased with their above‐ground biomass but taller species were not necessarily more efficient in light harvesting. Some subordinate species grew disproportionally large leaf areas and persisted in the shady undergrowth. Some other species first grew taller and managed to stay in the better‐lit parts of the canopy, but ultimately failed to match the height growth of their neighbours in this early successional series. Their light harvesting efficiencies declined and this probably led to their exclusion. By contrast, species that maintained their position high in the canopy managed to persist in the vegetation despite their relatively low light harvesting efficiencies. In the tallest stands ‘later successional’ species had higher light harvesting efficiencies for the same plant height than ‘early successional’ species which was mostly the result of the greater area to mass ratio (specific leaf area, SLA) of their leaves. This shows how plant stature, plasticity in above‐ground biomass partitioning, and architectural constraints determine the ability of plants to efficiently capture light, which helps to explain species replacement in this early successional series.  相似文献

城市森林结构的量化研究——以沈阳树木园森林群落为例   总被引:42,自引:6,他引:36  
采用遥感图像判读和野外调查相结合的方法,定量分析了沈阳树木园植物群落的物种结构及空间格局。结果表明,沈阳树木园植被的生长状况良好;物种丰富,其中黄蘖(Phellodendron amugense)、刺槐(Robinia pseudoacacia)、榆树(Ulmus pumila)在树木株数和相对优势度上均占优势,为群落的主林木;植被在高度和胸径上的分布均表现为具有向上发展的潜力,整个植被群落正处于一个快速的生长期,属于发挥生态效益的最佳时期,沈阳树木园的树种多度与基于叶面积的相对优势度之间无明显关联,数量上占优势的树种,其相对优势度不一定很高,沈阳树木园植被树木株数与不同树高等级间的分布关系表现为上凸的曲线,随着树木高度级的增加,树木株数开始分布比较平稳,当高度超过12m后,树木株数明显减少,曲线急骤下降,树木株数分布与不同胸径等级间的关系也呈现类似的情况。  相似文献

Abstract. Previous studies in the mountain fynbos of South Africa have demonstrated that short fire cycles favour the establishment of dense covers of understorey sprouters while longer fire intervals enable the establishment from seed of overstorey proteas and the formation of a overstorey. One consequence of these differences between fire cycle lengths is the effect that understorey sprouters and an overstorey protea canopy have on species richness. In the case of short fire intervals, species richness is decreased while longer intervals between fires allow species richness to decrease or increase depending on the patchiness of the overstorey canopy. Such results are suggestive of competitive effects between understorey sprouters and overstorey canopy proteas. In this study, data were collected from several pyric successional stages in mountain fynbos to study the effect of overstorey proteas on the growth and flowering of understorey sprouters since the last fire. Data were also collected to determine the effect that understorey sprouters had on the establishment and fecundity of overstorey protea species. Competitive interactions between overstorey proteas and sprouting understorey species were evident at all the sites studied. The vegetative growth and seed production of understorey sprouters, which grew under a canopy of overstorey proteas during the current interfire period, were significantly lower than that for plants growing in the open. In addition, the postfire growth and seed production of understorey sprouters were significantly lower for individuals, which grew under an overstorey protea canopy during the previous fire cycle, than for those individuals which grew in the open. The fecundity of overstorey proteas, which grew near understorey sprouters, was lower than that of plants which grew in the open. This effect was evident for up to the first 15 years after a fire. However, not all understorey sprouters affected the overstorey proteas equally. Also, seedlings of overstorey proteas established significantly less successfully in close proximity to understorey sprouters after a fire than in the open or under proteas. Finally, the results demonstrate that complex species‐specific, understorey–overstorey interactions are important in mountain fynbos. For example, some overstorey species depend on trophically similar species to reduce potential competition from understorey sprouters for their successful establishment at a site.  相似文献

? Premise of the study: Michelia maudiae is a threatened species in the Magnoliaceae. Microsatellite markers were developed and characterized in M. maudiae for further investigation of its conservation genetics. ? Methods and Results: Microsatellite markers were developed in M. maudiae using the Fast Isolation by AFLP of Sequences Containing Repeats protocol. Ten polymorphic microsatellites were assessed in two populations of M. maudiae. The number of alleles detected per locus varied from 1 to 8. Observed and expected heterozygosities ranged from 0.000 to 0.792 and from 0.000 to 0.826, respectively. Six primer pairs showed transferability in the two related species Michelia foveolata and Michelia chapensis. ? Conclusions: This set of microsatellite markers provides a useful tool for future studies of the conservation genetics of M. maudiae and other congeneric species.  相似文献

In the more than twenty years in which long-term canopy research has been conducted, mycology has been largely disregarded. Our studies using a construction crane to gain access to the canopy of a forest in Leipzig, Germany are the first long term investigations assessing the diversity and ecology of wood-decaying fungi in a canopy. Thirty-seven individuals of nine different tree species with a large amount of dead wood were selected. Sampling focussed on the four most prominent tree species Acer pseudoplatanus, Fraxinus excelsior, Quercus robur and Tilia cordata. In the years 2002 and 2003 dead wood was collected in different canopy strata. Dead branches were removed and stored for two weeks in open boxes with high humidity to allow growth of fructifications in the laboratory. 118 different taxa were identified (108 species, 77 genera). Corticioid fungi (e.g., of Corticiaceae, Stereaceae, Hymenochaetaceae) dominated the fungal composition with 37 species, pyrenomycetes were present with 18 species. Agaric fungi (Agaricales and Cortinariales) were scarce. Species with minute basidiomes dominated the fungal composition of this systematic group. Agarics with larger sporomes were found only once and were restricted to strongly decayed branches in shaded canopy areas. Concerning species richness and fungal composition the four tree species mentioned above differed remarkably. As expected, many fungi that grew on bark or slightly decayed wood showed a distinct host and substratum specifity.
