冷休克蛋白(cold shock protein,Csp)首先在大肠杆菌中发现,它与微生物对冷环境的适应及多种细胞功能有关。冷休克蛋白基因是一段编码70个左右氨基酸的DNA序列,在这段序列中有5′非翻译区(5′UTR)、冷盒及下游盒等特征。冷休克蛋白作为DNA或RNA结合蛋白在基因表达调控过程中起重要作用。冷休克蛋白在转录、mRNA稳定性及翻译等几个水平上被严格调控。 相似文献

Y-box-binding protein 1 (YB-1), a cold shock domain protein, is one of the most conserved nucleic acid-binding proteins. The multifunctional human YB-1 is a member of a large family of proteins with an evolutionary ancient cold shock domain. The presence of a cold shock domain is a specific feature of Y-box-binding proteins and allows attributing them to a wider group of proteins containing a cold shock domain. This protein is involved in a number of cellular processes including proliferation, differentiation and stress response. The YB-1 performs its function both in the cytoplasm and in the cell nucleus. In this study, we present the structure of full-length human YB-1 protein along with investigation of their nucleic acid-binding preferential. The study also focuses on biases for particular purine and pyrimidine bases. The overall goal of this study was to model and validate full-length YB-1 protein and to compare its nucleic acid-binding studies with previous reports. 相似文献

Abstract The supercooling points of cold (-10C and -5C) and heat (37 C, 40 C and 45 C) shocked overwintering larvae were nearly the same as that of un-shocked ones (ca. -20C). Temperature shocks enhanced the ability to endure subzero temperature (- 15C, 3 h), and the cold shock treatment had more significant effect on maintaining larval survival than that of heat shock. It is the third insect that heat shock and cold shock enhanced its survival rate under low temperature simultaneously. A special stress protein (MW = 83 kD) was expressed under cold shock at -10 C and heat shock at 40 C or 45 C. It is also a few instances that a stress protein was expressed in the same insect under both heat shock and cold shock simultaneously. Meanwhile, the antioxidant system under different treatments was studied. Rapid cold hardening process had no oxidative stress because of the increase content of reduced glutathione and activity of glutathione reductase, but other treatments had. 相似文献

松针瘿蚊是韩国林业爆发性害虫,以 3龄老熟幼虫在地表越冬。经冷休克(-10 ℃和-5 ℃)和热休克(37℃、40℃和45℃)处理的越冬幼虫与正常幼虫具有相同的过冷却点,保持在-20℃左右。温度胁迫可以提高对亚致死温度(-15℃、3 h)的耐受性。对于存活率的提高,冷休克处理比热休克处理更有效。这是冷热休克能同时提高虫体亚致死温度的耐受性的第三例报道。在冷休克(-10℃)和热休克(40℃和45℃)处理后,老熟幼虫表达一种特异的胁迫蛋白,分子量为 83 kD。本文还研究了温度胁迫对越冬老熟幼虫体内酶促与非酶促抗氧化系统的影响。温度胁迫使老熟幼虫产生氧化胁迫,而快速冷耐受(rapid coldharaening)处理,由于体内谷胱甘肽含量的提高以及谷胱甘肽还原酶活性的增高,使之不发生氧化胁迫反应。 相似文献
