Polycentropus cianficconiae sp. n. from Sicily and Descriptions of the Females of the Polycentropus Species Found in Sicily (Trichoptera,Polycentropodidae)

The male and female of Polycentropus cianficconiae sp. n. (Peloritani Mountains, Northeast Sicily) are described. This new species is related to P. divergens Mosely, 1930, of which the variability of some characters of male genitalia is examined. Female genitalia of the new species are compared to those of P. divergens, P. malickyi Moretti, 1981 and P. mortoni Mosely, 1930. The characters of female genitalia are useful for evaluating the relatedness and differences among the species. They agree with the findings of the study on male genitalia.     

A new genus and species in the tribe Empoascini (Hemiptera,Cicadellidae, Typhlocybinae) from China

One new leafhopper genus, Circinans, is described with a new species Circinans striata sp. n. as the type species from southern China. Habitus photos and illustrations of male genitalia of this new species are given and differences between the new genus and closely related genera are discussed.     

Review of the genus Isodemis Diakonoff (Lepidoptera, Tortricidae) from China, with description of three new species

The genus Isodemis Diakonoff, 1952 in China is reviewed, with seven species recognized. Three new species are described: Isodemis quadratasp. n., Isodemis guangxiensissp. n. and Isodemis hainanensissp. n. The female of Isodemis stenotera Diakonoff, 1983 is described for the first time. Variation within Isodemis illiberalis (Meyrick, 1918) and Isodemis stenotera is briefly discussed. Images of the adults and genitalia are provided, along with a key to the described species.     

Revision of the Chaetocnema picipes species-group (Coleoptera,Chrysomelidae, Galerucinae,Alticini) in China,with descriptions of three new species

The Chinese Chaetocnema picipes species-group is revised. It contains 5 species including 3 new species: C. cheni sp. n., C. constricta sp. n. and C. kingpinensis sp. n. The lectotype of C. fortecostata is designated. A key to all known species of this group from China and the illustrations of habitus and genitalia are provided. A distribution map of species is given.     

Review of the genus Thubana Walker (Lepidoptera, Lecithoceridae) from China, with description of one new species

The genus Thubana Walker is reviewed for China. Nine species are recognized, of which Thubana felinaurita Li, sp. n. is described as new; Thubana dialeukos Park, 2003 and Thubana xanthoteles (Meyrick, 1923) are newly recorded for this country; Thubana stenosis (Park, 2003), syn. n. is synonymised with Thubana xanthoteles, and Thubana microcera (Gozmány, 1978), syn. n. with Thubana leucosphena Meyrick, 1931. Images of adults and genitalia are provided. A checklist of Thubana species in China is included, along with a key to these species.     

New genus of Phycitinae (Lepidoptera: Pyralidae) with description of a new species from Cambodia

Samkosia gen. n. and its type species, Samkosia cambodiensis sp. n. , are described and illustrated from Cambodia. The new combination S. rufimaculella (Yamanaka, 1993) comb. n. , is suggested. The adults and genitalia of the new species are illustrated.     

A new species of Zorotypus (Insecta,Zoraptera, Zorotypidae) and the earliest known suspicious mating behavior of Zorapterans from the mid‐cretaceous amber of northern Myanmar

A new species of the insect order Zoraptera, Zorotypus pusillus, sp. n., is described and illustrated based on two ill‐preserved specimens in mid‐Cretaceous amber from the Hukawng Valley in northern Myanmar. Compared with known extinct zorapterans, the new species possesses eight‐segmented antennae and can be readily distinguished from all other extinct and recent members of the order in the presence of a shallow groove connecting two antennal sockets and by unique spination of the metafemur and metatibia. The earliest known suspicious mating behavior of Zoraptera, the intromittent organ of the fossil zorapterans, the egg, and the earliest known basal plate of the male genitalia are briefly discussed. The genitalia of new species are used as an intromittent organ in the majority of mating patterns among living zorapterans. The mating patterns (a copula is performed by males and females) of the most extant species have been present since at least the mid‐Cretaceous. A shared similar aedeagal structure in the new species and in the most extant species suggests an analogous mating behavior.     

Review of the genus Merulempista Roesler, 1967 (Lepidoptera, Pyralidae) from China, with description of two new species

The genus Merulempista Roesler, 1967 is reviewed for China. Of the four species treated in this paper, Merulempista rubriptera Li & Ren, sp. n. and Merulempista digitata Li & Ren, sp. n. are described as new; Merulempista cyclogramma (Hampson, 1896) is newly recorded for China, and its taxonomic position is briefly discussed. Photographs of the adults and genitalia are provided, along with a key to the known Chinese species.     

Revision of the Neotropical Genus Hemibidessus Zimmermann (Coleoptera: Dytiscidae: Hydroporinae: Bidessini)

The genus Hemibidessus Zimmermann, 1921 is revised. Six species are recognized in the genus. Two new species are described, H. spirodiscus sp. n. from Bolivia and H. spangleri sp. n. from Argentina. A key for identifying the species is presented. The female genitalia are thoroughly illustrated and described for the first time for any species of Bidessini. Other important diagnostic structures are also illustrated including the male genitalia. A cladistic analysis is presented for 8 species (6 ingroup and 2 outgroup species) and 13 characters. A single most parsimonious cladogram was found.     

Description of two new Lophocampa Harris from the Dominican Republic (Arctiidae, Arctiinae)

Two new species of Lophocampa Harris are described from the Dominican Republic, Lophocampa lineatasp. n. based on two males, and Lophocampa albitegulasp. n. based on three females. The habitus and genitalia are illustrated. The following nomenclatural changes are also proposed: Lophocampa albiguttata Boisduval, 1870, stat. rev. and Lophocampa brunnea Vincent, nom. n.     

The genus Andraca (Lepidoptera, Endromidae) in China with descriptions of a new species

The six species of the genus Andraca Walker hitherto known from China are reviewed, and a new species, Andraca gongshanensis, sp. n., described from Yunnan Province, China. Adults and male genitalia of all examined species are illustrated, together with a distributional map. A key to all seven Chinese Andraca species is provided. The types of the new species are deposited in SCAU (South China Agricultural University, Guangzhou, China) and HUNAU (Hunan Agricultural University, Changsha, China).     

中国卡拉草螟属研究及一新种和一新纪录种记述(鳞翅目,草螟科,草螟亚科)(英文)

中国圆斑小卷蛾属名录及一新种记述（鳞翅目：卷蛾科：新小卷蛾亚科）

记述中国圆斑小卷蛾属Eudemopsis 昆虫10种,其中包括1新种:狭瓣圆斑小卷蛾E. angustivalvae sp. nov.。该新种的体型较小,前翅长仅4.0-4.5 mm,雄性外生殖器中抱器瓣狭长,毛刺稀疏,很容易与属内其他种区分。文中还给出了分种检索表、新种的形态特征图和生殖器图以及该属种类在中国的地理分布图。研究标本保存在南开大学昆虫标本室。     

A new Stenoloba Staudinger species from China (Lepidoptera, Noctuidae, Bryophilinae)

A new species of Stenoloba, Stenoloba viridicollarsp. n. (Lepidoptera, Noctuidae) is described from Sichuan, China. Illustrations of adults and the genitalia of both sexes are provided. A diagnostic comparison is made with Stenoloba rufosagitta Kononenko & Ronkay, 2001 and S. rufosagittoides Han & Kononenko, 2009.     

A key to species of the genus Gastroserica Brenske of the China (Coleoptera, Scarabaeidae, Sericini), with the description of two new species and two new records for China

Based on a revision of the material housed in Chinese collections and a key to species of Gastroserica of China is provided. Two new species are described, habitus photographs, and illustrations of the genitalia are given: Gastroserica nigrofasciatasp. n. (from China: Guangxi and Guizhou Prov.), Gastroserica yunnanensissp. n. (from China: Yunnan Prov.). Besides, illustrations of the genitalia of species mentioned in the key are provided. Additional distribution records of the Gastroserica species including an updated distribution map are given.     

A new species of Microsphecodes from Jamaica (Hymenoptera, Halictidae)

A new species of the cleptoparasitic bee genus Microsphecodes Eickwort and Stage (Halictinae: Halictini) is described and figured from a male and female collected in Jamaica. Microsphecodes xaymacensis Engel, sp. n., is distinguished from its congeners on the basis of integumental coloration and sculpturing, and form of the male pygidial plate and genitalia.     

中国白草螟属分类研究(鳞翅目:螟蛾科:草螟亚科)

研究了中国草螟亚科白草螟属PseudocatharyllaBleszynski的 8个种 ,描述了 1新种 ,即宽突白草螟Pseu docatharyllalatiolaSongetChen ,sp .nov .,编制了白草螟属中国种的检索表。宽突白草螟Pseudocatharyllala tiolaSongetChen ,sp .nov .与黄色白草螟P .aurifimbriella (Hampson)在雄性外生殖器上结构相近 ,但新种左侧抱器瓣的轴节腹片较宽大 ,指形突狭窄 ;后者则相反。正模♂ ,黑龙江带岭 (47 0°N ,12 9 0°E) ,海拔 390m ,196 2 0 7 0 9,采集人不详 ,标本外生殖器标本C 4 35 (IZAS)。模式标本保存在中国科学院动物研究所动物标本馆。
