New Taxa and Host Associations of the Weevil Subfamily Ceutorhynchinae (Coleoptera,Curculionidae) from Thailand

A new subgenus of Mecysmoderes Sch., Enzoellus Korotyaev, subgen. n. (type species Mecysmoderes carinatus Faust), two new genera of the tribe Hypohypurini Colonnelli, Siamohypurus Korotyaev, gen. n. (type species S. samuelsoni Korotyaev, sp. n.), Glikmanellus Korotyaev, gen. n. (type species G. rosti Korotyaev, sp. n.) and eleven new species of the weevil subfamily Ceutorhynchinae are described: Mecysmoderes (Memecyderes) sarukhanovi Korotyaev, sp. n. from Thailand, M. (Enzoellus) gressitti Korotyaev, sp. n. from Thailand and Laos, M. (Enzoellus) muratovi Korotyaev, sp. n., Megahypurus oroszi Korotyaev, sp. n., Cyphohypurus suppantschitschi Korotyaev, sp. n., Siamohypurus samuelsoni Korotyaev, sp. n., S. attilai Korotyaev, sp. n., Glikmanellus rosti Korotyaev, sp. n., all from Thailand; G. baloghi Korotyaev, sp. n. from Sri Lanka; G. obrieni Korotyaev, sp. n. and G. louisae Korotyaev, sp. n., both from India. A key to three species of Megahypurus from Thailand is given. Host plants are determined for Megahypurus alexandri Kor. and Glikmanellus rosti sp. n. from Koh Kood Island in southern Thailand, which were repeatedly collected from a tree of the family Rubiaceae.     

A Review of the Fauna of the Planthopper Family Lophopidae (Homoptera,Fulgoroidea) from Vietnam with Descriptions of New Genera and Species and with Taxonomic Notes

Six new species are described from Vietnam, Apia simplexsp. n., Bisma angulatasp. n., Pitambara trypetoidessp. n., Sarmatoca cathemerinagen. et sp. n., Maracota soulieraegen. et sp. n., and Serida castaneasp. n., and Zeleja thoracalissp. n. from Malaysia. Two new genera, Maracotagen. n. (type species M. soulierae sp. n.) and Sarmatocagen. n. (type species S. cathemerina sp. n.), and a new subgenus Zelomachasubgen. n. (type species Zeleja thoracalis sp. n.) in the genus Zeleja are erected. The genus Binaluana Soulier-Perkins et Stroiński is downgraded to a subgenus of Zeleja Melichar. The genus Silvispina Wang et Soulier-Perkins with an uncertain systematic position is attributed to the subfamily Lophopinae and the tribe Lophopini. The placement of the genus Elasmoscelis Spinola (and, correspondingly, the tribe Elasmoscelini) in the subfamily Menoscinae, the genus Epiptyxis Gerstaecker in the tribe Menoscini, and the genus Jivatma Melichar in the tribe Lophopini is substantiated. New records of 11 species are given from Vietnam, some being first records for this country.     

Five new species of flat moths (Lepidoptera,Depressariidae) from Russia and neighboring countries

Five new species are described: Agonopterix vladimirisp. n. from the Russian Far East, A. kopetdagellasp. n. from Turkmenistan, Exaeretia terskeellasp. n. from Kyrgyzstan, Depressaria pastukhovisp. n. from Southern Kazakhstan, and D. khorogellasp. n. from Tajikistan. Types of the new species are deposited in the collection of the Zoological Institute of the Russian Academy of Sciences in St. Petersburg.     

Two New Species of the Genus <Emphasis Type="Italic">Carabus</Emphasis> Linnaeus, 1758 (Coleoptera,Carabidae) from the South Caucasus

Based on the material collected by the authors in Central and West Georgia, the Caucasus, in 2014–2017, Carabus (Archiplectes) zubovisp. n. from Kvemo Svaneti, belonging to the komarowi species-group, and Carabus (Tribax) shtavlerensissp. n. from Zemo Svaneti, belonging to the agnathus species-group, are described. The distribution of the new species is mapped.     

New Data on the Taxonomy and Distribution of Flat Moths of the Genus <Emphasis Type="Italic">Agonopterix</Emphasis> Hübner, [1825] (Lepidoptera,Depressariidae) of the Russian Fauna

New data on the distribution and taxonomy of Agonopterix species in Russia are given. The following new synonymy is established: Agonopterix anticella (Erschoff, 1877) = A. abjectella (Christoph, 1882), syn. n., = A. japonica Saito, 1980, syn. n.; A. pullella Hannemann, 1971 = A. dubatolovi Lvovsky, 1995, syn. n. A new species A. volgensissp. n. is described from the Middle Volga Region. Two species are recorded from Russia for the first time, both represented by new subspecies: A. ivinskisi daghestanicasubsp. n. from Daghestan and Armenia, and A. kisojiana dilutasubsp. n. from the southern part of the Russian Far East.     

The First Record of the Genus <Emphasis Type="Italic">Nepalomyia</Emphasis> Hollis (Diptera,Dolichopodidae) for the Western Part of the Palaearctic Region

The distribution of the species of Nepalomyia Hollis, 1964 over the principal zoogeographical regions is briefly summarized. A new species, Nepalomyia chalajaesp. n. from the North Caucasus, is described. The replacement name Nepalomyia igorinom. n. is proposed for the homonym Nepalomyia yangi Grootaert, 2013, nec Wang, Yang and Grootaert, 2007. A key to males of the ten Palaearctic species of Nepalomyia is given.     

Two new species of the many-plumed moth genus <Emphasis Type="Italic">Alucita</Emphasis> Linnaeus (Lepidoptera,Alucitidae) from Madagascar

Two new species of many-plumed moths (Lepidoptera, Alucitidae) from Madagascar are described: Alucita meloui sp. n. and Alucita murzini sp. n. A new synonymy is established: Alucita dohertyi (Walsingham, 1909) = Alucita decariella (Viette, 1958), syn. n.     

New Data on the Taxonomy of the Weevil Subgenus <Emphasis Type="Italic">Caucasoplinthus</Emphasis>, Genus <Emphasis Type="Italic">Plinthus</Emphasis> (Coleoptera,Curculionidae)

The taxonomic composition of the subgenus Caucasoplinthus Davidian, 1995 is revised. The immunis and granulosus groups are downgraded to subgroups of the silphoides and fallax groups, respectively; the voriseki subgroup is transferred from the fallax to the fausti group. Plinthus attilai Davidian et Savitsky, sp. n. and P. ljudae Davidian et Savitsky, sp. n. are described from Turkey and Abkhazia, respectively. New data on the taxonomy, distribution, and ecology of some little-known species are presented. The following new synonymy is established: Molytes vittatus Motschulsky, 1839 (= Meleus irroratus Reitter, 1884, syn. n., = Meleus faldermanni Faust, 1884, syn. n., = Meleus difficilis Faust, 1884, syn. n.).
