The Lactuceae contain two basic pollen types, echinolophate and echinate. Most taxa have echinolophate, tricolporate pollen. Internally, most ektexines are composed of a perforate spiny tectum, several levels of columellae, a cavus, and a foot layer. In lacunae, the columellae are reduced to a single level and the cavus is often absent. Highly modified echinolophate pollen grains are found in Scolymus, Scorzonera and Tragopogon. Scolymus, Catananche, Scorzonera, and Tolpis have distinctive exine stratification patterns. Exines of Catananche and, to a lesser extent, those of Tragopogon contain internal foramina like those found in the Heliantheae. Echinate pollen is found in all subtribes and is probably ancestral. However, some echinate grains are probably derived.  相似文献

The pollen morphology of 28 species of Parnassia L. was investigated with light microscopy and scanning electron microscopy (SEM). The shape of pollen grains in this genus varies from subspheroidal to prolate in equatorial view and is three-lobed circular in the polar view. Pollen grains are usually radially symmetrical, isopolar, tricolporate or syntricolporate, with reticulate sculpture. The pollen characteristics among species are fairly similar to each other. Morphological information regarding the pollen grains shows that Parnassia is a natural genus. Based on exine ornamentation observed under SEM, three types of pollen grains were recognized: (i) type I, with foveolate-reticulate sculpture; (ii) type II, with a finely reticulate sculpture; and (iii) type III, with a coarsely reticulate sculpture. Most sections of this genus have one type of sculpture of pollen morphology, but Sect. Nectarotrilobos has three types of sculpture and Sect.Saxifragastrum has two types of sculpture. All three types of sculpture can be found in Southwest China,with species with the longest (Parnassia delavayi Franch.) and shortest (Parnassiafaberi Oliv.) colpi,implying that Southwest China is the center of diversification of the genus.  相似文献

本文用光学显微镜对我国21属52种2变种芸香科(Rutaceae)植物的花粉形态进行了详细地观察研究,其中对6属6种进行了扫描电镜观察。本科花粉具沟孔,是花粉单类型的科之一。根据萌发孔的数目和外壁纹饰特点,本文将芸香科的花粉分为具3孔沟和4-6孔沟两个花粉类型,并根据各属花粉形态特征,作出了花粉形态分属检索表。此外,本文还对花椒(Zanthoxylum L.)和Fagara两属的合并问题及花椒与吴茱萸(Evodia Scop.)两属之间的亲缘关系等问题进行了讨论。  相似文献

利用扫描电镜对国产无患子科(狭义,Sapindaceae)23属30种1变种植物的花粉形态进行了观察。结果显示,该科花粉粒多为扁球形,部分为长球形,少数为球形或近球形,极面观多为三角形;从花粉萌发孔类型看,大多数种类具三沟孔,有的形成合沟,少数仅具三孔而无沟;从花粉外壁纹饰看,多数花粉外壁具网状或条纹状雕纹,少数花粉的外壁具刺状或颗粒状纹饰。花粉形态特征支持文冠果亚科(Xanthoceroideae)以及广义鳞花木属(Lepisanthes)概念,并支持仍将茶条木属(Delavaya)置于车桑子亚科(Dodonaeoideae)。观察发现黄梨木(Boniodendron minus)与栾树属(Koelreuteria),龙眼属(Dimocarpus)、荔枝属(Litchi)与韶子属(Nephelium)从花粉形态上表现出较近的亲缘关系。基于花粉形态特征编制了国产无患子科分属检索表。  相似文献

利用光镜和扫描电镜对大风子科 9属 1 3个种的花粉形态进行了观察。花粉形状长球形或圆球形 ,除大风子属 (Hydnocarpus)萌发孔为三拟孔沟 ,其余均为三孔沟 ;外壁纹饰在不同属、同属不同种间表现出明显的多样化 ,基本上可分为粗网状、细网状、穿孔状、穴状4种类型。研究认为花粉形态对于该科与近缘科以及属下的划分具有一定的意义  相似文献

Pollen grains of 32 species of Atraphaxis L. including six species previously attributed to Polygonum L. s.str. were investigated with LM (acetolysed pollen) and SEM (dry pollen). Pollen grains of all studied species are spheroidal to oblong-spheroidal, mostly tricolporate, rarely 4-6-loxocolporate, ellipsoidal in equatorial view, rounded-trilobed or trilobed in polar view, with striate or striato-perforate, reticulato-foveolate, or reticulato-perforate sporoderm ornamentation. Exine sculpture is the most variable feature, differing in width, distinctness, and spacing of the striae, which are divided by grooves with small pits or perforations in rows. The most distinct variants of sporoderm ornamentation are connected by a full range of transitions. Striato-perforate ornamentation is common in species with the perianth typical for Atraphaxis, whereas reticulato-foveolate or reticulato-perforate sporoderm ornamentation was found in species with the perianth of Polygonum-type.  相似文献

The pollen morphology of 65 species of Tournefortia L. was examined by light, scanning, and transmission electron microscopy. Four distinct morphological types were found: Type I, grains subprolate with 3-colporate apertures alternating with three pseudocolpi and the ektexine psilate; Type II, grains subprolate, the poles expanded, 3-colporate with the ektexine psilate polarly and verrucate equatorially; Type III, grains spheroidal with three porate apertures and the ektexine clavate; Type IV, grains suboblate with 3–4 colporate apertures and the ektexine psilate to finely rugose. Type I was found in 46 species representing the most diverse group of tournefortias. Type II was found in 12 species from the Old and New Worlds representing two related groups. Type III was found in five closely related species from the American tropics. Type IV was found in two species from South America, but differences in both the pollen and sporophyte indicate that this grouping may be artificial. Pollen morphology does not support the separation of those species treated as Messerschmidia and confirms the close relationship of Tournefortia and Heliotropium. The striking morphological divergence of Tournefortia pollen raises the question of its adaptive significance.  相似文献

天麻抗真菌蛋白(Gastrodia Antifungal Protein,GAFP)能强烈抑制腐生真菌菌丝的生长,在天麻限制和防止蜜环菌[Armillariella mellea (Vahl. ex Fr.)Karst.]侵染球茎的防卫机制中起重要作用。本文报告GAFP抗菌机理研究的部分内容——GAFP对木霉菌丝的作用位点。用荧光试剂异硫氰酸荧光素(Fluorescein isothiocyanate,FITC)标记GAFP,试验表明,标记后的GAFP与未标记的GAFP对木霉菌丝生长均有抑制作用。在荧光显微镜下观察GAFP在木霉菌丝上的作用位点,发现被“标记GAFP”作用后的菌丝边缘有荧光,并主要集中在木霉菌丝的顶端和菌丝横隔处,表明GAFP对木霉的作用位点在菌丝的细胞壁上。  相似文献

The pollen morphology of 28 species and one variety representing eight genera of the subtribe Mutisiinae Less. sensu Bremer (Compositae) was investigated by scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and light microscopy. The pollen grains are usually radically symmetrical, isopolar, and tricolporate. The shape varies from spheroidal to subprolate in equatorial view and is three-lobed circular in polar view. Based on exine sculpturing observed under SEM, the pollen grains can be divided into three types: (i) type Ⅰ, with macrogranulate sculpture; (ii) type Ⅱ, with a finely granulate sculpture; and (iii) type Ⅲ, with spiny sculpture.The palynological data showed that the Macroclinidium Maxim. was remarkably distinguished from those of the other seven genera. The variation of pollen characteristics within the Mutisiinae in Asia is little at species level, but it proves some useful information for studying the relationships among genera and it has an important significance in further understanding the evolutionary history of Mutisiinae.  相似文献

A survey of pollen morphology in 20 species representing the 11 genera of the North American subtribe Stephanomeriinae by light, scanning electron, and transmission electron microscopy revealed 10 of the 11 genera to have echinate, tricolporate pollen grains, Lygodesmia being the only genus with echinolophate pollen. Sectioned exines of most of the species examined are similar, being composed of ektexine and endexine. The ektexine surface is composed of spines which typically have globose perforate bases. A cavus occurs as a separation between the basis (foot layer) and the columellae in all of the genera examined except Chaetadelpha. Pollen of the two species of Glyptopleura were found to be strikingly different in exomorphology. Pollen of the putatively self-fertile G. marginata has much shorter spines than the closely related G. setulosa. Atrichoseris, Anisocoma, Calycoseris, Glyptopleura, Pinaropappus, Prenanthella, and most species of Malacothrix have pollen which lack paraporal ridges. The remaining genera, Chaetadelpha, Lygodesmia, Rafinesquia, and Stephanomeria have well-developed ridges of fused spine bases around the apertures. Pollen characters, particularly those of the aperture region, have been found to be systematically useful in the subtribe, therefore acetolyzed material gives more useful information than untreated pollen.  相似文献

A survey of pollen morphology of 40 species representing eight genera of the primarily North American subtribe Microseridinae reveals seven of the eight genera to have caveate, echinolophate, tricolporate grains, Picrosia being the only taxon with echinate pollen. Sectioned grains reveal the exine to consist of an ektexine and endexine. The ektexine, composed of spines, columellae, and foot layer appears to be of two basic types, one with six or seven levels of horizontally anastomosing columellae which are reduced to a single columellar layer under the paraporal lacunae and the second, a bistratified ektexine not reduced to a single layer below the paraporal lacunae. Sectioned exines of Pyrrhopappus are unusual, having very large columellae fused to the foot layer below ridges and highly reduced columellae under lacunae. Endexine organization is similar in most of the genera. Exceptions to this are Pyrrhopappus and some species of Agoseris, which have an “endexine 2” layer. Subtribe Microseridinae is essentially stenopalynous. The pollen data support most of the relationships suggested by Stebbins in his classification. The genera Agoseris, Microseris, Nothocalais, and Phalacroseris seem to form a natural group while Krigia and Pyrrhopappus form another cohesive series. The position of Picrosia, as an advanced offshoot of Pyrrhopappus, is not supported by the pollen data.  相似文献

利用光学显微镜和扫描电镜对中国钩藤属(Uncaria Schreb)9种植物的花粉形态进行了观察.结果表明,钩藤属植物的花粉为单粒,小型,辐射对称,赤道面观圆球形至近长球形,极面观3-裂圆形,具3孔沟,萌发沟裂缝状,长达两极.萌发沟中央有"内壁加厚突出"结构.外壁具条纹至细网纹饰,表面光滑无附属物.钩藤属花粉大小、形状、萌发沟和纹饰类型都较接近,属于单一型花粉.钩藤属植物的花粉形态特征是茜草科(Rubiaceae)中较为原始的类型.  相似文献

Pollen of 40 Acer taxa and one species of Dipteronia were examined by light, scanning and transmission electron microscopy. Pollen grains in both genera are tricolpate or tricolporate of prolate to nearly spheroidal shape. Based on sexine pattern, four major pollen types were recognized and include striate grains, rugulose grains, microreticulate grains, and granular grains. Although the family appears to be rather stenopalynous, several useful taxonomic variations occur.  相似文献

Pollen morphology of 44 species representing 9 genera of Tiliaceae in China was examined under light microscope, 10 of them were observed with scanning electron microscope. Nine genera involved in this paper are: Colona. Corchoropsis, Corchorus, Excentrodendron, Grewia, Hainannia, Microcos, Tilia and Triumfetta The pollen grains of Tiliaceae are eurypalynous. Based on the aperture type and ornamentation, they may be grouped into four types: (1) The Grewia type, pollen grains tricolporate: Colona, Corchorus, Grewia, Microcos and Triumfetta, (2) The Tilia type, pollen grains brevitricolporate: Hainania and Tilia, (3) The Corchoropsis type, pollen grains triporate, spinate: Corchoropsis, and (4) The Excentrodendron type, pollen grains triporate, reticulate: Exce ntrodendron. The significance of pollen morphology in taxonomy of Tiliaceae is discussed. The palynological data seem to support the separation of Microcos from Grewia and the transfer of Corchoropsis to Sterculiaceae from Tiliaceae.  相似文献

The pollen morphology of 11 species (including two subspecies and two varieties) belonging to two genera (Helianthemum and Fumana) of the family Cistaceae in Egypt was studied using light and scanning electron microscopy.Pollen grains of the studied taxa were found to be radially symmetrical and tricolporate.Pollen size,shape,apertures,and exine ornamentation characteristics were valuable parameters among the studied taxa.The largest pollen size was recorded in H.salicifolium and the smallest one observed in H.kahiricum subsp,schweinfurthii.Pollen shape in the Egyptian taxa varied from (sub-)prolate to prolate spheroidal,but F.arabica is different in having sub-oblate grains.The pollen data confirm that H.lippii and H.sessiliflorum are very closely related species.Pollen sculpture was useful in distinguishing between H.vesicarium var.vesicarium and H.vesicarium var.ciliatum.Three main pollen types of exine ornamentation were recognized:retipilate; reticulate to verrucate; and striate.Based on palynological data,a key for the studied taxa is suggested.  相似文献

根据中一美合作协议,研究北极巴罗地区2000年以来气候和环境变化史,张青松和唐领余于1998年5—6月到阿拉斯加巴罗地区进行了为期4周的野外考察。除湖泊打钻外,还在巴罗地区采集了表土花粉和植物标本。本文是研究北极巴罗(Barrow)地区12种冻原植物的花粉形态,它们的形状有球形、近球形、扁球形、茧形和四面体形,其萌发孔有三孔沟,三沟,二合沟以及散孔等类型。花粉具辐射对称和两侧对称两种类型。这些花粉的植物体是北极地区常见的植物,分属于10个科,除三种为小灌木外,大多数为多年生或一年生草本植物。这些冻原植物花粉形态的研究为恢复北极地区古植被和古气候的研究,提供了有价值的对比资料和依据。  相似文献

Pollen morphology of four Matricaria species and 28 Tripleurospermum species was investigated with light microscopies (LM) and scanning electron microscopies (SEM). Pollen slides were prepared using Wodehouse technique. Measurements were based on 20 or more pollen grains per specimen. For SEM studies, dried pollen grains were transferred on aluminum stubs and coated with gold for 4 min in a sputter-coater. The pollen grains of Matricaria and Tripleurospermum are radially symmetric and isopolar. The pollen grains of the Matricaria are oblate-spheroidal with the polar axes 16.6–31.2 μm and the equatorial axes 18.7–23.9 μm. Tripleurospermum is oblate-spheroidal, suboblate and prolate-spheroidal with the polar axes 15.6–32.2 μm and the equatorial axes 17.7-38.5 μm. The pollen grains of Tripleurospermum are operculate and tricolporate. Matricaria is operculate and usually tricolporate or rarely syncolporate, tricolpate and tetracolporate. The pollen grain of both taxa shows echinate ornamentation. The spines are commonly conical with a broadened base and a tapered apical portion. The spine length varies between 1.8–4 μm in Tripleurospermum and 2.3–3.3 μm in Matricaria. The width of spines varies between 2.8–4.6 μm in Tripleurospermum and 2.4–3.6 μm in Matricaria. Inter-spinal area shows granulate–perforate, reticulate–perforate, rugulate–perforate ornamentations and the tectum surrounding the spine base is micro perforate. Overall exine thickness ranges from 2.8 to 4.8 μm in Tripleurospermum, 3.6 to 5.2 μm in Matricaria. Intine is thicker under pores in Tripleurospermum (0.3–0.62 μm) than in Matricaria (0.6–0.8 μm). Inter-spinal ornamentations, pollen shape and the numbers of perforations at the spin base have been observed as important morphological characters.  相似文献
