SOME NEW SPECIES OF RHOPALOCERA IN CHINA. Ⅲ

In the present paper, 1 new genus, 3 new species and 1 new subspecies of Lycae-nidae are described. The specimens here dealt with were collected by entomologists during their expedi-tions to the Sinkiang Province in the years 1957-1960. The diagnostic characters of the new genus, species and subspecies are as follows:     

NEW SPECIES AND SUBSPECIES OF CHINESE PLATYCORYNUS (COLEOPTERA: EUMOLPIDAE)

Six species and one subspecies of Chinese Platycorynus Chevr. are here describedas new. All the type specimens of new species are deposited in the Institute of Zoology,Academia Sinica, those of the new subspecies are deposited in the Kunming Institute ofZoology, Academia Sinica.     

SOME NEW SPECIES OF RHOPALOCERA FROM CHINA, Ⅵ

In the present paper, five new species and two new subspecies of Chinesebutterflies belonging to 4 families and 6 genera are described. The butterflies here dealt with were collected by Chinese entomologistsduring their expeditions of the forest pests and diseases of Yunnan province inthe years 1979-1981.     

A STUDY ON THE CLASSIFICATION OF THE BOTOID FISHES OF CHINA

The present paper deals with the fishes referring to the subfamily Botiinae found in the Chinese fresh-water. At present 3 genera, 22 species and 2 subspecies of this subfamily have so far been known in China. Among them, Botia (Hymenophysa) yunnanensis, Parabotia lijiangensis, Parabotia bimaculata, Parabotia parva, Leptobotia guilinensis are found to be new to science.     

RESULTS OF THE ZOOLOGICO-BOTANICAL EXPEDITION OF ACADEMIA SINICA AND ACADEMY OF SCIENCES USSR TO SOUTHWEST CHINA 1955--1957(COLEOPTERA, LANGURIIDAE)

The Languriid beetles here dealt with were collected by Chinese and Soviet entomolo-gists during their co-operative expeditions to Yunnan in the years 1955---1957 and to Sze-chuan in 1955. The collection contains 35 species of which 6 are new to science and 9were hitherto unknown from China. The new species are characterized as follows:Tetralanguria apicata, n. sp. (fig. 1)     

Molecular Assessment and Taxonomic Status of the Rapid Racerunner （Eremias velox complex） with Particular Attention to the Populations in Northwestern China

The rapid racerunner,Eremias velox,is a widely distributed lizard from the northern Caucasus across entire Central Asia eastward to China.It is increasingly common to accept E.velox as a species complex in its entire range.To date,published morphological and molecular systematic hypotheses of this complex are only partially congruent,and its taxonomic status and evolutionary history are still far from clear.The mitochondrial cytochrome b gene and12S rRNA sequences were used to evaluate the taxonomy of this complex,with particular attention to the phylogenetic placement of populations in northwestern China.Examination of the phylogenetic analyses recovers seven distinct,biogeographically discrete,and well-supported clades,revealing genetically identifiable populations corresponding to some previously morphology-defined subspecies.Chinese E.v.roborowskii appears to have split from other Central Asian rapid racerunner lizards well before differentiation occurred among the latter taxa.Specifically,we corroborate that there are two subspecies occurring in China,i.e.,E.v.velox and E.v.roborowskii.We recommend a novel subspecific status for the phenotypically and genetically distinct populations in southern Aral Sea region of Uzbekistan previously assigned to E.v.velox.Finally,each of the three independently evolving lineages from Iranian Plateau should be recognized as three species new to science under the general lineage concept.

NEW SPECIES AND NEW RECORDS OF REDUVIIDAE FROM CHINA

The present paper deals with 13 species of Chinese Reduviidae, eight belonging toEmesinae, four to Saicinae and one to Tribelocephalinae. Among them nine species aredescribed as new to science and four are recorded for the first time from this country. Asynoptic key to the Chinese genera of subfamily Emesinae and one to the Chinese speciesof the genus Polytoxus Spin. are given. The four new records are Emesopsis spicatus     

THE GENUS OCHTHEBIUS LEACH OF CHINA (COLEOPTERA, PALPICORNIA)

NOTES ON THE GENUS NEOPODOCINUM IN CHINA,WITH DESCRIPTIONS OF TWO NEW SPECIES(ACARINA:MACROCHELIDAE)

The present paper deals with four species of the genus Neopodocinumoff scarabaeid beetles in China, among them Neopodocinum sinicum and N.gunnanense are new to science, the deutonymph of N. dehongense is descri-bed for the first time, and N. vanderhammeni is collected in southwestChina for the first time. The type materials are deposited in the Depart-ment of Parasitology, Guiyang Medical College.Keys to the females and malesof 6 known Chinese species of the genus Neopodocinum are appended.     

ON NEW SPECIES OF THE GENUS PARDOSA FROM CHINA (ARANEAE: LYCOSIDAE)

The materials of Chinese wolf spiders mainly deposited in our Institute and Bethune Medical University have been examined. The present paper deals with nine new species of the genus Pardosa, The diagnostic characters of new species are given below. NOTES ON ANNOSA SPECIES-GROUP OF HELINA R.-D. （DIPTERA： MUSCIDAE） IN CHINA

The genus Helina R.-D., 1830 is the second largest genus in Muscidae. By now,more than 400 species are known in the world and about 200 species have been described in China. This paper outlines earlier studies on the subgenus and species-group of Helina. Helina annosa species-group is erected. A key to the known Chinese subgroups and species is given.The 19 known Chinese species is listed, including one new species, i.e. Helina setipostitibia sp. nov. Type specimen of the holotype of the new species is deposited in the Institute of Entomology, Shenyang Normal University.     

NEW SPECIES AND NEW CHINESE RECORDS OF CALLIONYMID FISHES FROM THE SOUTH CHINA SEA

In the present paper, 3 new species and one new Chinese record of callionymidfishes, from the South China Sea are described, and the keys to the Chinese species ofCallionymus and Calliurichthys are given for reference (in Chinese).
