New 2-aminoethyl pendant-armed Schiff base macrocyclic complexes, [ML7]2+ (M = Mn(II), Mg(II), Zn(II) and Cd(II)), have been prepared via M(II) templated [1 + 1] cyclocondensation of 2,6-diacetylpyridine with a new branched hexamine, N,N,N′,N′-tetrakis(2-aminoethyl)-2,2-dimethylpropane-1,3-diamine. The ligand is a 16-membered pentaaza macrocycle having two 2-aminoethyl pendant arms [L7 is 2,14-dimethyl-6,10-bis(2-aminoethyl)-3,6,10,13,19-pentaazabicyclo[13.3.1]8,8-dimethylnonadeca-1(19),2,13,15,17-pentaene]. The crystal structures of [MnL7]2+ and [MgL7]2+ were determined from X-ray diffraction data. The geometry of the coordination sphere of complexes is a slightly distorted pentagonal bipyramid with the metal ion located within a pentaaza macrocycle and two pendant amines coordinating on opposite sides. All complexes were characterized by IR, microanalysis and except of [MnL7]2+ by 1H NMR, 13C NMR, DEPT135, COSY(H, H) and HMQC spectroscopy. The data indicate that the structure is pentagonal bipyramidal in each case. The structure of all complexes has also been theoretically studied by ab initio Hartree-Fock and density functional theory methods.  相似文献

Two new heptaaza Mn(II) macrocyclic bis(pendant donor) Schiff-base complexes, [MnL6]2+ and [MnL7]2+, have been prepared via Mn(II) templated [1 + 1] cyclocondensation of 2,6-diacetylpyridine with an appropriate branched hexaamine, and characterized by X-ray crystallography and spectroscopic methods. The ligands are 16- and 17-membered pentaaza macrocycles with two 2-aminoethyl pendant arms [L6 = 2,14-dimethyl-6,10-bis(2-aminoethyl)-3,6,10,13,19-pentaazabicyclo[13.3.1]nonadeca-1(19),2,13,15,17-pentaene and L7 = 2,15-dimethyl-6,11-bis(2-aminoethyl)-3,6,11,14,20-pentaazabicyclo[14.3.1]eicosa-1(20),2,14,16,18-pentaene]. The crystal structures of [MnL7]2+ and another related complex, [MnL5]2+ [L5 = 2,13-dimethyl-6,9-bis(2-aminoethyl)-3,6,9,12,18-pentaazabicyclo[12.3.1]octadeca-1(18),2,12,14,16-pentaene] were determined from X-ray diffraction data and the structure of each complex indicates that the geometry of the coordination sphere is that of a slightly distorted pentagonal bipyramid with the Mn(II) ion located within a pentaaza macrocycle and two pendant amines coordinating on opposite sides. The increased macrocycle ring size in [MnL7]2+ introduces an unusual seven-membered chelate ring and leads to long Mn-N bond lengths within the macrocycle, but to shorter pendant amine-Mn(II) bond lengths. Ab initio HF-MO calculations produce structures for the two complexes which are in close agreement with experimental findings and predict a similar structure for [MnL6]2+, but with the longest pendant amine-Mn(II) bond lengths of the three structures.  相似文献

A 14-membered tetraaza macrocycle, 2,13-bis(2-carbomethoxyethyl)-5,16-dimethyl-2,6,13,17-tetraazatricyclo[16.4.0.1.1807.12]docosane (L2) bearing two N-CH2CH2COOMe groups, and its nickel(II) and copper(II) complexes have been prepared and characterized. The nickel(II) and copper(II) complexes of 2-(2-carbomethoxyethyl)-5,16-dimethyl-2,6,13,17-tetraazatricyclo[16.4.0.1.1807.12]docosane (L3) containing one N-CH2CH2COOMe group have also been prepared. The crystal structure of [NiL2](ClO4)2 shows that the complex has a slightly distorted trans-octahedral coordination geometry with two relatively short axial Ni-O (N-CH2CH2COOMe group) bonds (2.136(3) Å). In various solvents, however, a considerable proportion of [NiL2]2+ exists as a square-planar form, in which the functional pendant arms are not involved in coordination. The proportion of the square-planar isomer varies with solvents in the order of nitromethane ? acetonitrile < H2O < DMF ? DMSO. In the case of [CuL2](ClO4)2, only one N-CH2CH2COOMe group is involved in coordination. The N-CH2CH2COOMe group of [NiL3](ClO4)2 is not directly involved in coordination even in the solid state, though the functional group of [CuL3](ClO4)2 is coordinated to the metal ion.  相似文献

A di-N-functionalized 14-membered tetraaza macrocycle, [H4L3](ClO4)2 (L3 = 1,8-bis(2-carboxyethyl)-3,5,7,7,10,12,14,14-octamethyl-1,4,8,11-tetraazacyclotetradecane), has been synthesized by acid hydrolysis of 1,8-bis(2-cyanoethyl)-3,5,7,7,10,12,14,14-octamethyl-1,4,8,11-tetraazacyclotetradecane (L2). The copper(II) complexes [CuL2](ClO4)2 and [Cu(H2L3)](ClO4)2 were prepared and characterized. The complex [Cu(H2L3)]2+ readily reacts with methanol to yield [CuL4]2+ (L4 = 1,8-bis(2-carbomethoxyethyl)-3,5,7,7,10,12,14,14-octamethyl-1,4,8,11-tetraazacyclotetradecane). The N-CH2CH2COOH groups of [Cu(H2L3)](ClO4)2 are not coordinated to the metal ion in the solid state but are involved in coordination in various non-aqueous solvents or in aqueous solutions of pH ? 1.0. Interestingly, [CuL4](ClO4)2 exists as two stable structural isomers, 1 (the pendant ester groups are not involved in coordination) and 2 (one of the two ester groups is coordinated to the metal ion), in the solid state; the two isomers can be prepared selectively by controlling ionic strength of a methanol solution of the complex. Crystal structures and coordination behaviors of the two isomers are described. The di-N-cyanoethylated macrocyclic complex [CuL2](ClO4)2 is rapidly decomposed in 0.1 M NaOH solution even at room temperature. On the other hand, [Cu(H2L3)](ClO4)2 and [CuL4](ClO4)2 are quite inert against decomposition under similar basic conditions. In acidic or basic aqueous solutions, [CuL4]2+ is hydrolyzed to [Cu(H2L3)]2+ or [CuL3].  相似文献

A new macropolycycle, 2,13-dimethyl-1,5,12,16-tetraazapentacyclo[14.6.2.25.12.06.11.017.22]hexacosane (L3), has been prepared by the reaction of 3,14-dimethyl-2,6,13,17-tetraazatricyclo[16.4.0.07.12]docosane (L1) with 1-bromo-2-chloroethane. The macropolycycle readily reacts with anhydrous copper(II) ion to yield [CuL3]2+ in dry methanol but does not with nickel(II) ion, showing a high copper(II) ion selectivity. Crystal structure of [CuL3](ClO4)2 shows that the complex has a distorted square-planar coordination polyhedron with a trans-IV type N-conformation. The Cu-N distances [1.989(3) and 2.015(3) Å] of [CuL3](ClO4)2 are distinctly shorter than those of [CuL1](ClO4)2 and other related macrocyclic copper(II) complexes. The d-d transition band for [CuL3](ClO4)2 is observed at 447 nm, which is ca. 40 nm shorter than that for [CuL1](ClO4)2.  相似文献

Manganese(II) complexes [Mn(L)X2] were prepared and characterized, where L is a neutral di-Schiff base ligand incorporating pyridylimine donor arms, including (1R,2R)-N,N′-bis(2-pyridylmethylidene)-1,2-diphenylethylenediimine (L1), (1R,2R)-N,N′-bis(6-methyl-2-pyridylmethylidene)-1,2-cyclohexyldiimine (L2), or (1R,2R)-, (1S,2S)- or racemic N,N′-bis(2-pyridylmethylidene)-1,2-cyclohexyldiimine (L3), and X =  or Cl. Product complexes were structurally characterized, specifically including [Mn(R,R-L1)(NCCH3)3](ClO4)2, [Mn(R,R-L2)(OH2)2](ClO4)2 and racemic [Mn(L3)Cl2]. The first of these complexes features a heptacoordinate ligand field in a distorted pentagonal bipyramid, and the latter two are hexacoordinate, but retain equatorially monovacant pentagonal bipyramidal structures. Complexes [Mn(L3)X2] (X = Cl, ) were reacted with the primary phosphine FcCH2PH2 (Fc = -C5H4FeC5H5), H2O and ethyldiazoacetate (EDA). The first two substrates prompted reactivity at a single ligand imine bond, resulting in hydrophosphination and hydrolysis, respectively. Complexes of the derivative ligands were also structurally characterized. Evidence for EDA activation was obtained by electrospray ionization mass spectrometry, but catalytic carbene transfer was not obtained.  相似文献

The hetero-functionalized macrocyclic complex [CuL2](ClO4)2 bearing one N-CH2C(NH)OMe and one N-CH2CN groups as well as [CuL3](ClO4)2 bearing two N-CH2C(NH)OMe groups have been prepared selectively by the reaction of [CuL1](ClO4)2 (L2 = 2,13-bis(cyanomethyl)-5,16-dimethyl-2,6,13,17-tetraazatricyclo[16.4.0.1.1807.12]docosane) with methanol. The N-CH2C(NH)OCH3 group in [CuL2](ClO4)2 is quite inert against acid hydrolysis. On the other hand, the functional pendant arms in [CuL3](ClO4)2 readily undergo acid hydrolysis. Both [CuL4](ClO4)2 bearing one N-CH2COOCH3 and one N-CH2C(NH)OCH3 groups and [CuL5](ClO4)2 bearing two N-CH2OOCH3 groups have been prepared by the stepwise hydrolysis of [CuL3](ClO4)2. The reactivity of the functional pendant arms in [CuL1](ClO4)2 or [CuL3](ClO4)2 is quite different from that in [NiL1](ClO4)2 or [NiL3](ClO4)2. The crystal structure of [CuL2](ClO4)2 shows that the complex has a slightly distorted square-pyramidal coordination polyhedron with an apical Cu-N (N-CH2C(NH)OCH3 group) bond. The N-CH2C(NH)OCH3 and/or N-CH2COOCH3 groups in [CuL3](ClO4)2, [CuL4](ClO4)2, and [CuL5](ClO4)2 are involved in coordination, and the complexes have distorted trans-octahedral coordination polyhedron. The axial Cu-N (N-CH2C(NH)OCH3 group) distance (2.396(7) Å) of [CuL4](ClO4)2 is considerably longer than the Cu-N (N-CH2C(NH)OCH3 group) distance (2.169(3) Å) of [CuL2](ClO4)2.  相似文献

A series of flexible multidentate ligands containing N,P-donor, 2-[N-(diphenylphosphino)methyl]amino-pyridine (L1), 2-[N-bi-(diphenylphosphino) methyl]amino-pyridine (L2), 2-[N-(diphenylphosphino)methyl]amino-7-methyl-1,8-naphthyridine (L3) and 4-[(N-diphenylphosphino)methyl]amino-pyridine) (L4) have been synthesized. The mono- and dinuclear cyclometalated platinum(II) complexes [Pt(C^N^N)L1]ClO4 (HC^N^N = 6-phenyl-2,2′-bipyridine), [Pt2(C^N^N)2L1](ClO4)2, [Pt2(C^N^N)2L2](ClO4)2, [Pt(C^N^N)L3]ClO4 and [Pt2(C^N^N)2L4](ClO4)2 were prepared and their structures determined by X-ray crystal analysis. These complexes exhibit long-lived bright orange emissions ranging from 560 to 610 nm in the solid state at room temperature. In solution, dinuclear complexes have emissions with higher quantum yields than mononuclear complexes. This can be attributed to intramolecular interaction of free functional group with Pt(II) at axial position, resulting in the quenching of phosphorescence for platinum(II) complexes in the 3MLCT excited state.  相似文献

A new series of alkali and alkaline-earth complexes of Na(I), Ca(II), Sr(II) and Ba(II) with two pyridyl pendant-arms azamacrocyclic ligands, L1 and L2, were synthesized by reaction of the ligand and the appropriate perchlorate salt in refluxing acetonitrile. The reactions gave analytically pure products that were characterized by elemental analysis, FAB mass spectrometry, IR, conductivity measurements and 1H NMR spectroscopy. The crystal structure of [NaL1](ClO4), [BaL1](ClO4)2 · 2CH3CN and [Ca2L2(μ-ClO4)(H2O)2](ClO4)2 · Cl · (H2O)0.5 could be also determined. The crystal structure of the Na(I) and Ba(II) complexes with L1 show endomacrocyclic mononuclear species, where the metal ions are in N8 and N10 coordination environment, respectively. The geometry around the metal ions can be described as cube and bicapped cube geometry for Na(I) and Ba(II), respectively. Instead, the crystal structure of the Ca(II) compound with L2 shows an exomacrocyclic dinuclear complex where both metal ions are in a similar N5O2 environment joined through a bidentate perchlorate anion. The coordination geometry for both Ca(II) ions can be described as distorted pentagonal bipyramid.  相似文献

In order to further understand the coordination chemistry of diazamesocyclic systems, a series of mononuclear NiII complexes with 1,4-diazacycloheptane (DACH) functionalized by additional imidazole or pyridine donor pendants, including [NiL1](ClO4)2 · H2O (1), [NiL1Cl](ClO4) (2), [NiL2Cl](ClO4) · CH3OH (3), [NiL2Cl][NiL2](ClO4)3 (4) and [NiL3](ClO4)2 (5), where L1 = 1,4-bis(N-1-methylimidazol-2-yl-methyl)-1,4-diazacycloheptane, L2 = 1,4-bis(pyridyl-2-yl-methyl)-1,4-diazacycloheptane, and L3 = 1,4-bis-(imidazol-4-yl-methyl)-1,4-diazacycloheptane, have been prepared and characterized. A detailed study on the solid structures and solution spectra of these complexes indicates that tetradentate ligands L1, L2 and L3 would lead to new NiII complexes with different coordination environments in the solid states and solution. The N-methyl substituted imidazole functionalized ligand L1 forms green compound 2 and yellow product 1; while the pyridine functionalized ligand L2 affords red product 4 and green complex 3; the ligand L3 results in only one stable mononuclear NiII product 5. The solution behaviors of these interesting compounds were also investigated by UV-Vis technique.  相似文献

Four cobalt(III) complexes containing the polypyridine pentadentate ligands N,N-bis(2-pyridylmethyl)amine-N′-ethyl-2-pyridine-2-carboxamide (PaPy3H), N,N-bis(2-pyridylmethyl)amine-N′-[1-(2-pyridylethyl)acetamide (MePcPy3H), and N,N-bis(2-pyridylmethyl)amine-N′-(2-pyridylmethyl)acetamide (PcPy3H), have been synthesized. All three ligands bind the Co(III) center in the same fashion with the exception of loss of conjugation between the carboxamide moiety and the pyridine ring in the latter two. The structures of [(PaPy3)Co(OH)][(PaPy3)Co(H2O)](ClO4)3 · 3H2O (1), [(PaPy3)Co(NO2)](ClO4) · 2MeCN (2), [(MePcPy3)Co(MeCN)](ClO4)2 · 0.5MeCN (3), and [(PcPy3)Co(Cl)](ClO4) · 2MeCN (4) have been determined. These ligands with strong-field carboxamido N donor stabilize the +3 oxidation state of the Co center as demonstrated by the facile oxidation of the corresponding Co(II) complexes (prepared in situ) by H2O2, [Fe(Cp)2](BF4), or nitric oxide (NO). The Co-Namido bond distances of 1-4 lie in the narrow range of 1.853-1.898 Å. 1H NMR spectra of these complexes confirm the low-spin d6 ground states of the metal centers.  相似文献

Three kinds of copper(II) azide complexes have been synthesised in excellent yields by reacting Cu(ClO4)2 · 6H2O with N,N-bis(2-pyridylmethyl)amine (L1); N-(2-pyridylmethyl)-N′,N′-dimethylethylenediamine (L2); and N-(2-pyridylmethyl)-N′,N′-diethylethylenediamine (L3), respectively, in the presence of slight excess of sodium azide. They are the monomeric Cu(L1)(N3)(ClO4) (1), the end-to-end diazido-bridged Cu2(L2)2(μ-1,3-N3)2(ClO4)2 (2) and the single azido-bridged (μ-1,3-) 1D chain [Cu(L3)(μ-1,3-N3)]n(ClO4)n (3). The crystal and molecular structures of these complexes have been solved. The variable temperature magnetic moments of type 2 and type 3 complexes were studied. Temperature dependent susceptibility for 2 was fitted using the Bleaney-Bowers expression which led to the parameters J = −3.43 cm−1 and R = 1 × 10−5. The magnetic data for 3 were fitted to Baker’s expression for S = 1/2 and the parameters obtained were J = 1.6 cm−1 and R = 3.2 × 10−4. Crystal data are as follows. Cu(L1)(N3)(ClO4): Chemical formula, C12H13ClN6O4Cu; crystal system, monoclinic; space group, P21/c; a = 8.788(12), b = 13.045(15), c = 14.213(15) Å; β = 102.960(10)°; Z = 4. Cu(L2)(μ-N3)(ClO4): Chemical formula, C10H17ClN6O4Cu: crystal system, monoclinic; space group, P21/c; a = 10.790(12), b = 8.568(9), c = 16.651(17) Å; β = 102.360(10)°; Z = 4. A series of ruthenium (II) complexes of formulae trans-[Ru(PPh3)2(L′H)2](ClO4)2 (1), [Ru(bpy)(L′H)2](ClO4)2 (2), [Ru(bpy)2(L′H)](ClO4)2 (3), cis-[Ru(DMSO)2(L′H)2]Cl2 (4), and [Ru(L′H)3](PF6)2 (5) (where L′H = 2-(2′-benzimidazolyl)pyridine) have been synthesized by reaction of the appropriate ruthenium precursor with 1,2-bis(2′-pyridylmethyleneimino)benzene (L). The complexes were characterized by elemental analyses, spectroscopic and electrochemical data. All the complexes were found to be diamagnetic and hence metal is in +2 oxidation state. The molecular structure of trans-[Ru(PPh3)2(L′H)2](ClO4)2 has been determined by the single crystal X-ray diffraction studies. The molecular structure shows that Ru(II) is at the center of inversion of an octahedron with N4P2 coordination sphere. The ligand acts as a bidentate N,N′donor. The electronic spectra of the complexes display intense MLCT bands in the visible region.Cyclic voltammetric studies show quasi-reversible oxidative response at 0.99-1.32 V (vs Ag/AgCl reference electrode) due to Ru(III)/Ru(II) couple.  相似文献

Two NNS tridentate Schiff base ligands of 2-benzoylpyridine S-methyldithiocarbazate (HL1) and 2-benzoylpyridine S-phenyldithiocarbazate (HL2) and their transition metal complexes [Cu2(L1)2(CH3COO)](ClO4) (1), [Zn2(L1)2(ClO4)2] (2), [Zn(L2)2](3) have been prepared and characterized by elemental analysis, IR, MS, NMR and single-crystal X-ray diffraction studies. In the solid state, each of two Schiff bases remains in its thione tautomeric form with the thione sulfur atom trans to the azomethine nitrogen atom. Under similar prepared conditions, three new complexes showed distinctly different coordination modes depending on their coordinating preferences. Each copper atom in S-bridged dinuclear complex [Cu2(L1)2(CH3COO)](ClO4) (1) is surrounded by five donor atoms in a square-pyramidal fashion (4 + 1). [Zn2(L1)2(ClO4)2] (2) is a dimer in which each zinc atom adopts a seven-coordinate distorted pentagonal bipyramidal geometry, while mononuclear [Zn(L2)2] (3) has octahedral coordination geometry. Biological studies, carried out in vitro against selected bacteria, fungi, and K562 leukaemia cell line, respectively, have shown that different substituted groups attached at the dithiocarbazate moieties and metals showed distinctive differences in the biological property. Zinc(II) complexes 2 and 3 could distinguish K562 leukaemia cell line from normal hepatocyte QSG7701 cell line. Effect of the title compounds on Mitochondria membrane potential (MMP) and PI-associated fluorescence intensity in K562 leukaemia cell line are also studied. The title compounds may exert their cytotoxicity activity via induced loss of MMP.  相似文献

Two new ruthenium(II) complexes of Schiff base ligands (L) derived from cinnamaldehyde and ethylenediamine formulated as [Ru(L)(bpy)2](ClO4)2, where L1 = N,N’-bis(4-nitrocinnamald-ehyde)ethylenediamine and L2 = N,N’-bis(2-nitrocinnamaldehyde)-ethylenediamine for complex 1 and 2, respectively, were isolated in pure form. The complexes were characterized by physicochemical and spectroscopic methods. The electrochemical behavior of the complexes showed the Ru(III)/Ru(II) couple at different potentials with quasi-reversible voltammograms. The interaction of the complexes with calf thymus DNA (CT-DNA) using absorption, emission spectral studies and electrochemical techniques have been used to determine the binding constant, Kb and the linear Stern–Volmer quenching constant, KSV. The results indicate that the ruthenium(II) complexes interact with CT-DNA strongly in a groove binding mode. The interactions of bovine serum albumin (BSA) with the complexes were also investigated with the help of absorption and fluorescence spectroscopy tools. Absorption spectroscopy proved the formation of a ground state BSA-[Ru(L)(bpy)2](ClO4)2 complex. The antibacterial study showed that the Ru(II) complexes (1 and 2) have better activity than the standard antibiotics but weak activity than the ligands.  相似文献

A series of new binuclear copper (II) and nickel (II) complexes of the macrocyclic ligands bis(1,4,7-triazacyclononan-1-yl)butane (Lbut) and bis(1,4,7-triazacyclononan-1-yl)-m-xylene (Lmx) have been synthesized: [Cu2LbutBr4] (1), [Cu2Lbut(imidazole)2Br2](ClO4)2 (2), [Cu2Lmx(μ-OH)(imidazole)2](ClO4)3 (3), [Cu2Lbut(imidazole)4](ClO4)4 · H2O (4), [Cu2Lmx(imidazole)4](ClO4)4 (5), [Ni2 Lbut(H2O)6](ClO4)4 · 2H2O (6), [Ni2Lbut(imidazole)6](ClO4)4 · 2H2O (7) and [Ni2Lmx (imidazole)4(H2O)2](ClO4)4 · 3H2O (8). Complexes 1, 2, 7 and 8 have been characterized by single crystal X-ray studies. In each of the complexes, the two tridentate 1,4,7-triazacyclononane rings of the ligand facially coordinate to separate metal centres. The distorted square-pyramidal coordination sphere of the copper (II) centres is completed by bromide anions in the case of 1 and/or monodentate imidazole ligands in complexes 2, 4 and 5. Complex 3 has been formulated as a monohydroxo-bridged complex featuring two terminal imidazole ligands. Complexes 6-8 feature distorted octahedral nickel (II) centres with water and/or monodentate imidazole ligands occupying the remaining coordination sites. Within the crystal structures, the ligands adopt trans conformations, with the two metal binding compartments widely separated, perhaps as a consequence of electrostatic repulsion between the cationic metal centres. The imidazole-bearing complexes may be viewed as simple models for the coordinative interaction of the binuclear complexes of bis (tacn) ligands with protein molecules bearing multiple surface-exposed histidine residues.  相似文献

The coordination capability of the octaaza 24-membered (L1) and the tetraoxotetraaza 28-membered (L2) macrocycle ligands - with different sizes, nature and number of the donor atoms - has been investigated with nitrate and perchlorate Cd(II) salts. The complexes were prepared in 1:1 and 2:1 Cd:L molar ratio. The characterization by elemental analysis, IR, LSI mass spectrometry, conductivity measurements and 1H NMR spectroscopy, together with the crystal structure of the complexes [CdL1](NO3)2 · 0.5H2O, [CdL1](ClO4)2 and [CdL2(CH3CN)2](ClO4)2 · CH3CN · H2O confirms the formation of mononuclear complexes in all cases. The [CdL1](NO3)2 · 0.5H2O and [CdL1](ClO4)2 present a mononuclear endomacrocyclic structure with the metal ion coordinated by the eight donor nitrogen atoms from the macrocyclic backbone in a square antiprism geometry. The complex [CdL2(CH3CN)2](ClO4)2 · CH3CN · H2O is also mononuclear, but the cadmium ion is in an octahedral environment coordinated by four amine nitrogen atoms from the macrocyclic framework and two nitrogen atoms from two acetonitrile molecules. The ether oxygen atoms from the ligand are not coordinated.  相似文献

The synthesis and structural characterization of NiII, CuII and ZnII complexes of two chelating 1,2,4-oxadiazole ligands, namely 3,5-bis(2′-pyridyl)-1,2,4-oxadiazole (bipyOXA) and 3-(2′-pyridyl)5-(phenyl)-1,2,4-oxadiazole (pyOXA), is here reported. The formed hexacoordinated metal complexes are [M(bipyOXA)2(H2O)2](ClO4)2 and [M(pyOXA)2(ClO4)2], respectively (M = Ni, Cu, Zn). X-ray crystallography, 1H and 13C NMR spectroscopy and C, N, H elemental analysis data concord in attributing them an octahedral coordination geometry. The two coordinated pyOXA ligands assume a trans coplanar disposition, while the two bipyOXA ligands are not. The latter result is a possible consequence of the formation of H-bonds between the coordinated water molecules and the nitrogen atom of the pyridine in position 5 of the oxadiazole ring. The expected splitting of the d metal orbitals in an octahedral ligand field explains the observed paramagnetism of the d8 and d9 electron configuration of the nickel(II) and copper(II) complexes, respectively, as determined by the broadening of their NMR spectra.  相似文献

New structurally constrained tetraaza macrocycles 2,3-dimethyl-1,5,12,16-tetraazapentacyclo[14.6.3.35.12.06.11.017.22]octacosane (L6) and 2,2,4,10,12,18,20-octamethyl-1,5,9,13-tetraazatricyclo[11.3.2. 25.9]eicosane (L7) have been prepared in high yield by direct reaction of 1,3-dibromopropane with 3,14-dimethyl-2,6,13,17-tetraazatricyclo[16.4.0.07.12]docosane (L3) or 2,5,5,7,9,12,12,14-octamethyl-1,4,8,11-tetraazacyclodecane (L5). The macrocycle L6 readily reacts with anhydrous copper(II) ion to yield [CuL6]2+ in dry methanol but does not react with nickel(II) ion, showing a high copper(II) ion selectivity. On the other hand, neither of the metal ions is inserted into the cavity of L7 in similar conditions. The copper(II) complex [CuL6](ClO4)2 has a severely distorted square-planar coordination polyhedron with a rarely observed trans-IV type N-conformation. The visible absorption spectrum of [CuL6]2+ shows the d-d transition band at 490 nm (ε=690 M−1 cm−1); the wavelength is quite similar to that of [CuL3]2+, but the molar absorption coefficient is extraordinarily larger than those of [CuL3]2+ and other related tetraaza macrocyclic copper(II) complexes.  相似文献
