The nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug zomepirac (ZP) is metabolised to a chemically reactive acyl glucuronide conjugate (ZAG) which can form covalent adducts with proteins. In vivo, such adducts could initiate immune or toxic responses. In rats given ZP, the major band detected in liver homogenates by immunoblotting with a polyclonal ZP antiserum was at 110 kDa. This adduct was identified as ZP-modified dipeptidyl peptidase IV (DPP IV) by immunoblotting using the polyclonal ZP antiserum and monoclonal DPP IV antibodies OX-61 and 236.3. In vitro, ZAG, but not ZP itself, covalently modified recombinant human and rat DPP IV. Both monoclonal antibodies recognized DPP IV in livers from ZP- and vehicle-dosed rats. Confirmation that the 110 kDa bands which were immunoreactive with the ZP and DPP IV antibodies represented the same molecule was obtained from a rat liver extract reciprocally immunodepleted of antigens reactive with these two antibodies. Furthermore, immunoprecipitations with OX-61 antibody followed by immunolotting with ZP antiserum, and the reciprocal experiment, showed that both these antibodies recognised the same 110 kDa molecule in extracts of ZP-dosed rat liver. The results verify that DPP IV is one of the protein targets for covalent modification during hepatic transport and biliary excretion of ZAG in rats.  相似文献

Excretion of cholate glucuronide   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1
[3-3H]Cholic acid glucuronide [7 alpha,12 alpha-dihydroxy-3 alpha-O-(beta-D-glucopyranosyluronate)-5 beta- cholan-24-oate] was synthesized and administered to rats prepared with either an external biliary fistula or a ligated bile duct. When bile fistula animals were given either microgram or milligram amounts of the glucuronide, biliary secretion of label was rapid and efficient: greater than 90% of the administered label was secreted within 60 min and total recovery of label in bile was 98.6 +/- 1.2%. Studies in which [14C]taurocholate was included in the dose indicated that this bile acid was secreted into bile significantly more rapidly than was the glucuronide. In animals with ligated bile ducts, urinary excretion was the major route of elimination: after 20 hr, 83.4 +/- 9.3% of the administered dose had been excreted in urine. Urinary excretion of cholate glucuronide was significantly more rapid than that of taurocholate. Gas-liquid chromatographic analysis of the methyl ester acetate derivatives of labeled compounds isolated from bile and urine by chromatography established that the bulk (greater than 70%) of the administered material was secreted in bile or excreted in urine as the intact cholate glucuronide. From these results, we conclude that the glucuronidation of cholic acid produces a derivative which is rapidly and effectively cleared from the circulation and excreted.  相似文献

Biliary excretion of amphetamine and methamphetamine in the rat   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1       下载免费PDF全文
1. (14)C-labelled amphetamine and methamphetamine were injected into rats cannulated at the bile duct under thiopentone anaesthesia and the output of their metabolites in urine and bile was determined. 2. With amphetamine, 69% of the (14)C was excreted in the urine and 16% in the bile in 24h. The main metabolite in bile was the glucuronide of 4-hydroxyamphetamine. The output of unchanged amphetamine was much greater in cannulated rats than in intact rats. 3. With methamphetamine, 54% of the (14)C appeared in the urine and 18% in the bile. The main metabolite in the bile was the glucuronide of 4-hydroxynorephedrine. The output of amphetamine, a metabolite of methamphetamine, was much greater in cannulated rats than in intact rats. 4. Evidence has been obtained for the enterohepatic circulation of certain amphetamine and methamphetamine metabolites in the rat. 5. Thiopentone anaesthesia appeared to inhibit the ring hydroxylation of amphetamine administered as such or formed as a metabolite of methamphetamine.  相似文献

1. Young rats with cannulated bile ducts were given 0.34mg. of [1alpha-(3)H]cholecalciferol or 0.54mg. of [(14)C]ergocalciferol by intravenous infusion. Of the radioactivity in the dose of [1alpha-(3)H]cholecalciferol 31% was recovered in bile within 24hr. 2. The metabolites in bile were separated by gradient-elution column chromatography on silicic acid into five components, all more polar than cholecalciferol or 25-hydroxycholecalciferol. [(14)C]Ergocalciferol gave a similar pattern of metabolites in bile. 3. The three most polar metabolites were shown to be ionic. The major component has been identified as a glucuronide conjugate, which was not identical with synthetic cholecalciferyl glucuronide.  相似文献

1. [4-(14)C]Progesterone was administered intravenously to anaesthetized male and female New Zealand White rabbits as a single injection or as a 45-60min. infusion. 2. After a single dose about 60% of the radioactivity was recovered in 6hr., and twice as much radioactivity was present in bile as in urine. After infusion total recovery of radioactivity was only about 40% in 6hr., but the relative proportions of metabolites in bile and urine were about the same as after a single dose. 3. Bile and urine samples were hydrolysed successively by beta-glucuronidase, cold acid and hot acid. 4. In bile the major proportion of metabolites appeared in the glucuronide fraction; in urine beta-glucuronidase hydrolysis yielded the greatest amounts of ether-extractable radioactivity, but the greatest proportion of radioactivity could not be extracted by ether from an alkaline solution of the hydrolysed urine. 5. There was no apparent difference in the quantity or distribution of metabolites excreted by male and female animals.  相似文献

Many non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) which form acyl glucuronide conjugates as major metabolites have shown an antiproliferative effect on colorectal tumors. This study assesses the extent to which rearrangement of an acyl glucuronide metabolite of a model NSAID into beta-glucuronidase-resistant isomers facilitates its passage through the small intestine to reach the colon. Rats were dosed orally with diflunisal (DF), its acyl glucuronide (DAG) and a mixture of rearrangement isomers (iso-DAG) at 10 mg DF equivalents/kg. The parent drug DF appeared in plasma after all doses, with maximum concentrations of 20.5+/-2.5, 28.8+/-8.3 and 11.0+/-1.6 microg DF/ml respectively, obtained at 3.8+/-0.3, 3.6+/-1.8 and 7.5+/-0.9 hr after the DF, DAG and iso-DAG doses respectively. At 48 hr, 16.2+/-3.3, 19.8+/-0.8 and 42.9+/-10.1% of the doses respectively were recovered in feces, with < or = 1% remaining in the intestine. About half of each dose was recovered as DF and metabolites in 48 hr urine: for DF and DAG doses, the majority was in the first 24 hr urine, whereas for iso-DAG doses, recoveries in the first and second 24 hr periods were similar. The results show that hydrolysis of both DAG and iso-DAG, and absorption of liberated DF, occur during passage through the gut, but that these processes occur more slowly and to a lesser degree for iso-DAG. The intrinsic hydrolytic capacities of various intestinal segments (including contents) towards DAG and iso-DAG were obtained by incubating homogenates under saturating concentrations of DAG/iso-DAG at 37 degrees C. Upper small intestine, lower small intestine, caecum and colon released 2400, 3200, 9200 and 22800 microg DF/hr/g tissue plus contents respectively from DAG substrate, and 18, 10, 140 and 120 microg DF/hr/g tissue plus contents respectively from iso-DAG substrate. The much greater resistance of iso-DAG to hydrolysis appears attributable to its resistance to beta-glucuronidases. The data suggest that in rats dosed with DF, DAG excreted in bile would be substantially hydrolysed in the small intestine and liberated DF reabsorbed, but that portion which rearranges to iso-DAG would likely reach the colon.  相似文献

1. When rats were given a single oral dose of the lipid-soluble fungicide 4-(2-chlorophenylhydrazono)-3-methyl[4-(14)C]isoxazol-5-one ([(14)C]drazoxolon), about 75% of the label was excreted in the urine and 13% in the faeces in 96hr. An additional 7% of the radioactivity was recovered as (14)CO(2) in 48hr. 2. About 8% of the label was excreted by rats in the bile in 0-24hr. and an additional 6% was excreted by the same route in 24-48hr. 3. When dogs were given a single oral dose of [(14)C]drazoxolon about 35% of the label was excreted in the urine and a similar amount was excreted in the faeces in 96hr. 4. The major metabolites in the urine of the rat and the dog were identified as 2-(2-chloro-4-hydroxyphenylhydrazono)acetoacetic acid (dog, 14%), the corresponding ether glucosiduronic acid (dog, 12%; rat, 13%) and ester sulphate (rat, 65%). 5. When rats were given a single oral dose of 3-methyl-4-([U-(14)C]phenylhydrazono)isoxazol-5-one about 75% of the label was excreted in the urine and 15% in the faeces in 96hr. The major metabolite in the urine was identified as the ester sulphate conjugate of 2-(4-hydroxyphenylhydrazono)-acetoacetic acid. 6. Reduction of the azo link was of minor quantitative significance. 7. These results are discussed in their relation to species differences in the toxicity of these compounds.  相似文献

Incorporation of [32P]orthophosphate into phosphatidylcholine, lysophosphatidylcholine and molecular species of phosphatidylcholine in vivo was observed in liver, plasma and erythrocytes of bile duct-ligated or sham-operated rats. Both the amount and radioactivity of dienoic species of phosphatidylcholine in all tissues examined increased in bile duct-ligated rats as compared to sham-operated rats. The experiments in vivo and in vitro showed that the ratio of lysophosphatidylcholine to phosphatidylcholine transferred to erythrocytes from plasma in sham-operated rats was much higher than that in bile duct-ligated rats. It is suggested that one of the mechanisms by which abnormal erythrocytes appear might be explained by the facilitated and direct transfer of phosphatidylcholine, which is caused by the interaction of erythrocytes with bile acid in bile duct-ligated rat plasma.  相似文献

Adult male rats with cannulated or ligated bile ducts were given S-(2-hydroxyoestradiol-1-yl)[(35)S]glutathione, S-(2-hydroxy[6,7-(3)H(2)]oestradiol-1-yl)glutathione or S-(2-hydroxyoestradiol-1-yl)[glycine-(3)H]glutathione by intraperitoneal injection. The recovery of radioactivity in the bile of bile duct-cannulated rats was 33-86% and in the urine of bile duct-ligated rats was 54-105%. Oestrogen thioether derivatives of glutathione, cysteinylglycine, cysteine and N-acetylcysteine were isolated from bile; only the N-acetylcysteine derivatives could be identified in the urine. The steroid moiety was characterized by microchemical tests before and after treatment with Raney nickel: 2-hydroxyoestradiol-17beta was released from the glutathione conjugate, and 2-hydroxyoestrone and 2-hydroxyoestrone 3-methyl ether from the other conjugates. From intact rats the recovery of administered radioactivity was about 15% in the urine and 5% in the faeces over a period of several days and the radioactivity appeared to be largely protein-bound. The results demonstrate that injected oestrogen-glutathione conjugate undergoes conversion into N-acetylcysteine derivatives in vivo. Oestrogen-glutathione conjugates formed in the intact rat may be excreted in an apparently non-steroidal, possibly protein-bound form, which would not be detected by current analytical techniques.  相似文献

Three-month old germfree and conventional male rats were maintained on a complete steam-sterilized, semisynthetic diet. After intravenous injection of cholesterol-26-(14)C the animals were housed in a plastic metabolism chamber for 72 hr. Expired CO(2) was collected throughout the period. The conventional rats released 50% more (14)C as (14)CO(2) than the germfree animals. The total amount of the label recovered as (14)CO(2) during the 72 hr period amounted to 30% and 19% respectively, of the original dose. In both conventional and germfree rats the release of (14)CO(2) accounted for approximately 75% of the (14)C recovered in forms other than the original cholesterol-26-(14)C; 15-20% was found incorporated in water-soluble and fat-soluble fractions other than 3Beta-OH sterol of liver and carcass while the remainder was excreted with feces and urine. After the 72 hr period the specific activities of the cholesterol in plasma and liver were lower in conventional than in germfree animals. The data express the accelerating effect of the intestinal microflora on systemic cholesterol catabolism. They demonstrate that the release of (14)CO(2) from cholesterol-26-(14)C in the intact rat is a suitable and convenient indicator of the oxidative catabolism of cholesterol.  相似文献

The biliary and renal excretion of acetaminophen and its metabolites over 8 hr was determined in rats exposed to diethyl ether by inhalation for 1 hr. Additional rats were anesthetized with urethane (1 g/kg ip) while control animals were conscious throughout the experiment (surgery was performed under hexobarbital narcosis: 150 mg/kg ip; 30-min duration). The concentration of UDP-glucuronic acid was decreased 80% in livers from ether-anesthetized rats but was not reduced in urethane-treated animals when compared to that in control rats. The concentration of reduced glutathione was not affected by either urethane or diethyl ether. Basal bile flow was not altered by the anesthetic agents. Bile flow rate after acetaminophen injection (100 mg/kg iv) was increased slightly over basal levels for 2 hr in hexobarbital-treated control rats, was unaltered in urethane-anesthetized animals, and was decreased throughout the 8-hr experiment in rats exposed to diethyl ether for 1 hr. In control and urethane-anesthetized animals, approximately 30-35% of the total acetaminophen dose (100 mg/kg iv) was excreted into bile in 8 hr, while only 16% was excreted in rats anesthetized with diethyl ether. Urinary elimination (60-70% of the dose) was not altered by exposure to ether. Separation of metabolites by reverse-phase high-pressure liquid chromatography showed that ether decreased the biliary elimination of unchanged acetaminophen and its glucuronide, sulfate, and glutathione conjugates by 47, 40, 49, and 73%, respectively, as compared to control rats. Excretion of unchanged acetaminophen and the glutathione conjugate into bile was depressed in urethane-anesthetized animals by 45 and 66%, respectively, whereas elimination of the glucuronide and sulfate conjugates was increased by 27 and 50%, respectively. These results indicate that biliary excretion is influenced by the anesthetic agent and that diethyl ether depresses conjugation with sulfate and glutathione as well as glucuronic acid.  相似文献

1. The biliary and urinary excretion of (+)-[U-(14)C]catechin was studied in normal male rats after a single injection of the flavonoid. 2. In rats large amounts of radioactivity (33.6-44.3% of the dose in 24h) were excreted in the bile as two glucuronide conjugates [one of which was a (+)-catechin conjugate] and three other unconjugated metabolites. 3. Excretion of radioactivity in the urine when the bile duct was not cannulated amounted to 44.5% of the dose. 4. In both the urine and bile the new metabolites showed maximum excretion in the (1/2)-1(1/2)h after intravenous injection of [(14)C]catechin. 5. The metabolites m-hydroxyphenylpropionic acid, p-hydroxyphenylpropionic acid, delta-(3-hydroxyphenyl)-gamma-valerolactone and delta-(3,4-dihydroxyphenyl)-gamma-valerolactione originate from the action of the intestinal micro-organisms on the biliary-excreted metabolites of (+)-catechin. These phenolic acid and lactone metabolites are then reabsorped and excreted in the urine. 6. It is proposed that, depending on the route of administration of (+)-catechin, there exists an alternative pathway, involving biliary excretion, for the metabolism of (+)-catechin.  相似文献

Three minor sulfur-containing arsenic metabolites: monomethylmonothioarsonic acid (MMMTA(V)), dimethylmonothioarsinic acid (DMMTA(V)), and dimethyldithioarsinic acid (DMDTA(V)) were recently found in human and animal urine after exposure to inorganic arsenic. However, it remains unclear how the thioarsenicals are formed in the body and then excreted into the urine. It is hypothesized that the generation of thioarsenicals occurs during enterohepatic circulation. To address this hypothesis, male Sprague Dawley (SD) rats and Eisai hyperbilirubinuric (EHB) rats (with deficiency of multidrug resistance-associated protein 2) were orally administered a single dose of inorganic arsenite (iAs(III)) at 3.0 mg kg(-1) of body weight. Five hours after dosing, less than 1.0% of the dose was recovered in the bile of EHB rats, while more than 27% of the dose was recovered in the bile of SD rats, with the majority being monomethylarsinodiglutathione [MMA(SG)(2)] with a small amount of arsenic triglutathione [iAs(SG)(3)]. During the early time periods (3 h and 6 h) the arsenic levels in the liver, red blood cells (RBCs) and plasma of EHB rats were higher than those of SD rats, and approximately 76% and 87% of the dose was recovered in the RBCs of SD and EHB rats, respectively, at day 5 after dosing. However, there were no significant differences in arsenic concentration in urine between the two types of animal. Regarding the arsenic species in the urine of both types of rat, significant levels of thiolated arsenicals MMMTA(V) and DMMTA(V) were detected in SD rat urine, however in EHB rat urine only low levels of DMMTA(V) were detected. The present result of the metabolic balance and speciation study suggests that the formation of MMMTA(V) and DMMTA(V) in rats is dependent on enterohepatic circulation. In addition, in vitro experiments indicated that arsenicals excreted from bile may be transformed by gastrointestinal microbiota into MMMTA(V) and DMMTA(V), which are then absorbed into the bloodstream and finally excreted into the urine.  相似文献

The biotransformation of single acute oral doses of acetaminophen (100 mg/kg body weight) in adult male guinea pigs was studied by collecting serial blood, urine, and bile samples post-treatment and identifying and quantitating the concentrations of parent drug and excretory products by high performance liquid chromatography. The plasma half-life (beta t/2) (mean +/- SD) of acetaminophen was 1.87 +/- 0.30 h, while that of the only metabolite detected in plasma, the glucuronide, was 2.41 +/- 0.64 h. In 24-h urine samples, the predominant product was the glucuronide (90%) with a small amount of the sulphate conjugate (7.0%) and approximately 3.0% acetaminophen. In bile, the glucuronide was the major metabolite detected initially but, with time, this product decreased concomitantly with an increase in the cysteinyl conjugate. No sulphate was detected in bile but two unidentified metabolites were detected, having distinct column retention times and comprising approximately 6-10% of the total excretory products. The results demonstrated that glucuronidation is a high capacity biotransformation pathway for acetaminophen in this species, only small amounts of other conjugated products being detectable under usual circumstances.  相似文献

The enterohepatic circulation and metabolism of ethynodiol diacetate (3beta,17beta-diacetoxy-17alpha-ethynyl-estr-4-ene) in baboons were studied following the intravenous injection of this contraceptive steroid labeled with 14C (4-position) and with 3H (in either the 3- or 17-acetoxy moieties). Bile and urine from four baboons with biliary fistulas and urine from four intact baboons were collected for 7 hours. On the average, 40% and 44% of the injected dose were excreted in the bile and urine, respectively. Only 48% was recovered in the urine of intact baboons. Analysis of these excretion rates indicates an insignificant enterohepatic circulation of this compound. The steroid was excreted mostly (over 80%) as a glucosiduronate in urine and bile. Very little excretion of the 3-acetoxy compound was detected in the urine or bile at any time interval. 17-Monoacetoxy compounds, however, were detected both in urine and bile, suggesting a difference in the rate of in vivo hydrolysis of the 17beta- vs. the 3beta-acetate.  相似文献

Biliary metabolites from physiological doses of all-trans-[10-3H]retinoic acid were examined in normal and vitamin A-deficient rats. The bile from normal and vitamin A-deficient rats contained approximately 60% of the administered dose following a 24-h collection period. However, vitamin A-deficient rats show a 6-h delay in the excretion of radioactivity compared to normal rats. Retinoyl-beta-glucuronide excretion was particularly sensitive to the vitamin A status of the rats. In normal rats, retinoyl-beta-glucuronide reached a maximum concentration of 235 pmol/ml of bile 2 h following the dose and then rapidly declined. Vitamin A-deficient rats show a relatively constant concentration of this metabolite (100-150 pmol/ml of bile) over a 10-h collection period. Retinoic acid excretion was low in both normal and deficient rats. The concentration of retinotaurine, a recently identified biliary metabolite, was approximately equal to retinoyl-beta-glucuronide in normal rats and appeared in the bile 2 h later than the glucuronide.  相似文献

Four hours after intraportal injection of retinoic acid-(14)C into bile duct-cannulated rats, less than 10% of the radioactivity was recovered in the liver, intestine, and kidneys. Within 6 hr, 40% of the radioactivity had appeared in bile. When suspensions of retinol-(14)C or retinal were similarly injected, 25-35% of the dose was excreted in bile within 24 hr and equivalent amounts were deposited in the liver as retinol ester. The isolated perfused liver also produced these bile metabolites and is probably the major site of their formation in vivo. The intestine may metabolize retinoic acid, however, since some metabolites were found in the intestinal wall and lumen, even in bile duct-cannulated rats. The bile metabolites of retinol-(14)C and retinoic acid-(14)C undergo extensive enterohepatic circulation. The bile radioactivity was not volatilized on boiling at acid pH, was not present in digitonin-precipitated sterols, and did not migrate with bile salts on reversed-phase paper chromatography. Anion-exchange chromatography resolved the metabolites of bile into three fractions containing nonionic compounds, acidic substances like retinoic acid, and more polar acidic derivatives.  相似文献

The metabolic fate of [1-(14)C]glucosamine, of N-acetyl[1-(14)C]glucosamine and of glycoproteins labelled with [1-(14)C]glucosamine was studied in rats for a period of 24hr. after these materials were given orally or injected. When [1-(14)C]glucosamine was injected 26.3% of the label was excreted in the urine, 19.7% was expired as carbon dioxide and 12.7% was incorporated into plasma proteins. When the same compound was given orally, 49.2% of the label was expired as carbon dioxide, with little appearing in the urine or in the plasma. When N-acetyl[1-(14)C]glucosamine was injected, 51.3% of the label was excreted in the urine with 12.3% appearing in carbon dioxide, but there was little incorporation into plasma protein. When this compound was given orally, 46.5% of the label was expired as carbon dioxide, 7.4% was recovered in the urine and 1.7% was incorporated into plasma protein. After the injection of (14)C-labelled glycoprotein 21.0% of the label was expired as carbon dioxide, whereas when it was given orally 49.8% of the label was recovered in carbon dioxide. The differences observed between the metabolic fate of the amino sugars when they were given orally and their fate when injected could not be accounted for by the action of the intestinal microflora or by the rate of administration of the material. It is concluded that amino sugars undergo metabolic alteration or degradation during absorption.  相似文献

Biliary secretion of bile acid glucuronides was studied in control rats and in rats with a congenital defect in hepatobiliary transport of organic anions (GY rats). In control animals, hepatobiliary transport of [3H]lithocholic acid 3-O-glucuronide and [3H]cholic acid 3-O-glucuronide was efficient (greater than 95% in 1 h) and comparable to that of [14C]taurocholic acid. Secretion of both glucuronides was impaired in GY rats (24% and 71% at 1 h), whereas that of taurocholate was similar to control values. However, recovery of the glucuronides in bile was nearly complete within 24 h; virtually no radioactivity was found in urine. In control rats, biliary secretion of lithocholic acid 3-O-glucuronide, but not that of cholic acid 3-O-glucuronide or taurocholate, could be delayed by simultaneous infusion of dibromosulphthalein. In mutant rats, dibromosulphthalein infusion was also able to inhibit secretion of cholic acid 3-O-glucuronide. [3H]Hydroxyetianic acid, a C20 short-chain bile acid, was secreted by control rats as a mixture of 20% carboxyl-linked and 80% hydroxyl-linked (3-O-)glucuronide; secretion was very efficient (99% in 1 h). In GY rats, secretion was drastically impaired (16% at 1 h and 74% over a 24-h period). Initially, the mutant secreted more carboxyl- than hydroxyl-linked glucuronide, but the ratio reached that of control animals after 24 h. The rates of formation of both types of hydroxyetianic acid glucuronide by hepatic microsomes from mutant rats were similar or even slightly higher than those of control microsomes. These findings indicate that bile acid 3-O-glucuronides, but probably not carboxyl-linked glucuronides, are secreted into bile by a transport system shared with organic anions such as conjugated bilirubin and dibromosulphthalein, but different from that for amino acid-conjugated bile acids.  相似文献

1. A large proportion of a single oral dose of [(14)C]Ionox 220 to rats is eliminated in 24 days: 89.3-97.4% of the label is excreted in the faeces (much of this is eliminated in the first 4 days after dosage), 1% in the urine and less than 0.1% in the expired gases; 4.06% of (14)C is present in the carcass and viscera after removal of the gut, and most of this is in the fatty tissues. 2. About 87% of (14)C in the faeces is due to unchanged antioxidant, 5% to the quinone methide, 5% to the free acid and 3% to an unidentified polar constituent. Three-fifths of (14)C in the urine is due to 3,5-di-tert.-butyl-4-hydroxybenzoic acid and the remainder to the ester glucuronide. In three individual animals, one-half of (14)C in the bile is due to the free acid, one-quarter to the ester glucuronide and the remainder to unchanged antioxidant, whereas in another all of (14)C in the bile is due to Ionox 220. About 97% of (14)C in the body fat is due to unchanged antioxidant and the remainder to the free acid. 3. Up to 20% of a single oral dose of Ionox 220 is absorbed in rats: 13-14% is metabolized. 3,5-Di-tert.-butyl-4-hydroxybenzoic acid accounts for just over 5% of a dose of Ionox 220, 3,5-di-tert.-butyl-4-hydroxybenzoyl-beta-d-glucopyranosiduronic acid for less than 0.4%, the quinone methide for just over 5% and an unidentified compound for less than 3%. 4. The physiological and biochemical implications of ingesting Ionox 220 are discussed.  相似文献
